I went through an agent who selected National General for my ft motorhomeIt is a much better policy than I had with ***My premium had been $for the coming year, but with National General it is $It also increased several of my limits to $500k whereas they had been $250k, which decreased my Umbrella policy premium by $So that is a savings of $plus the $which is $in savings or 25.8%So I am happy with this National General policy

I am and have been a National General Insurance customer for several years I recently added a car to my policy with no problem which was great I began looking into my coverage because I am going on vacation and will need a rental car and wanted to see if National General like other insurance companies would provide insurance for the rental since my personal car has full coverage Needless to say I was shocked that the policy will not provide coverage for the rental and as I did a little more digging into the policy I also found that if I were involved in an accident in my own car within days of a new or renewed policy I would be required to pay triple the deductible Yikes Had no ideaIs that the standard?
I started digging a little deeper and decided to read up on some reviews which I had not thought to do in the past My dealings with National General have been pretty good, however reading all of the negative reviews I will be contacting *** to find me another insurance company when my policy expires in a few months These reviews and customer experiences are horrific and I do not want to be another customer that has to experience even a fraction of what some of the people have been through with the company If I could make a suggestion I would have to say to NG to please review their business practices and take customer satisfaction more serious

I was involved in an accident in December when it snowed, I was not speeding but hit an icy spot and slid off the road, I did not get a ticket and no one was hurt, however my insurance company put points on my account to raise my premium each month to regain the money that was paid to fix my vehicle, that’s not fair and isn’t that why we pay for insurance Incase of an accident, I feel like they are a bunch of crooks because it isn’t a public point system just something within the company and I wasn’t them to take the point off my account especially since I clearly did not receive a ticket because the cops even said it was an act of God/ Nature and I should not be found liable for thatThank you for your time

My agent set me up with this National General Insurance company a year agoI renewed my 2nd year and paid online todayI wanted to create an account as well and manage a paperless policyFor some reason, their website was not accepting my emailI have tried it so many times, it told me to call the 1-888-293-5108, Samantha answered the phoneShe said she is not the one handling that kind of problem, she told me she will transfer me to the right department and gave me the number alsoIt was 1-888-325-She told me to wait while she transfers me, but HANG UP on meSo, I called the number she gave me, I waited for minutes, then a female named PRECIOUS answered the phoneI told her about the assistance I needed, she told me, it's the tech support who can help me, so, she transferred me to a guy named EricHe said they don't support the customer on the website, only agents if they're having tech issuesHe was nice and polite and tried to help me still even he's not the right person to do itHe said, it's supposed to be the customer service department which is Precious, who did not spend time to listen to me and try to resolve the issuesI think that Precious and Samantha are two very rude employees who are there to collect a paycheck and want to do any workOverall, I don't like how this company handle their businessI should just be able to set up my account online with no hassles and not have to call their rude and lazy employeesThey are unprofessional in the beginning, they will be unprofessional all the wayI don't recommend this company at ALL

Cheapest! No hassle! Haven't had to file a claim (knock on wood!) but so far they have been the Best!

Great agents and a cheap price

National General rescinded my policy after a minor fender benderI’d just renewed my policy, and had been using their service since 4/I was unaware that I needed to inform them the increase of two family members in my house in less than a years time, whom have their own cars and own insurance(which means they wouldn’t ever be using my car), would rescind my policyI signed the policy TWO years agoChanging my policy and relaying this information to National General because my family moved into my house is not a priorityAnd by the time my renewal came up, it was beyond me to let them knowIt’s unfortunate that they weren’t able to cover the accidentThe premium that they will be giving back to me is just a few hundred less than the amount of the damages“At National General, we are committed to your complete satisfaction,” is the opening sentence to the letter rescinding my policyI am 1, not satisfied, and 2, this is a completely statement

I have my car & home insurance through National GeneralHome insurance was actually written by ASI, but through NGII am very please with the professionalism & caring shown to me by all the people who helped me from day ***, VA

I recently was involved in a car accident with a driver who is insured by this companyFrom the first day of dealing with their claim department they showed an unwillingness to help and rude behaviourThis department does not pick up the phone, return phone calls, or reply to emailsI was instructed to dial if my adjustor was unavailable but her voicemail was never set up correctly to transfer my callI asked to speak to supervisors but they as well do not pick up the phoneWhen I was able to connect with the adjustor she never had answers and would respond that she didn't have any information although she was the one dealing with the caseTheir display of bad faith caused my car repair to be delayed over one monthI had to spend money out of pocket because of their negligenceThis whole process has been a night mare, causing me additional expenses and time off work to try to resolve thisI would never recommend this company to anyoneNow I know why I never heard of this insurance company beforeI am also writing a corporate complaint to the head of claimsI don't expect to receive a response from this negligent company but I hope someone actually cares about customer service and coaches their employees to do their job correctly and efficientlyFor privacy I will not write the first names of the representatives I've dealt with but I will give their last names, Shaw, Abramski, Robertello to name the fewI rate your company a zero

Excellent service

All I can say is they are very sneaky and there is something going on there that isn't completely legal or professionalFirst off, every one else's complaints about the people being rude are 100% trueEvery time we go to pay our premium, the people working there tell us different dollar amounts than we are supposed to be paying, it's never the same amount, it doesn't add up to what it should and they ALWAYS demand that part of it is paid in cashWhether we are using our debit card or a check, they say we have to pay part in cashToday we went to pay it and the guy told us we owed an amount that was over $more than what we knew we owed and demanded that we had to pay it ALL in cashTheir card slider wasn't broken, he just said it had to be all cashI had asked around at a few other insurance companies around and they all agreed that something doesn't sound right about the way they are doing paymentsDon't trust them!

I was involved in an accident with a person insured by National General InsuranceThe person ran of the rode and struck a light pole, completely totaling the carMyself and my kids were passengers in the vehicleIt’s impossible to have any fault if you are a passengerI have sent in my demand letter, bills, pictures, medical records and everything requested by the adjusterOnce she had no more information to possibly request she has been completely unresponsive for over a monthI’ve documented emails, voicemails and certified mail (the proves she’s received it) where I’ve basically begged her to return my callsBy law, in any state, the company owes you a duty to act in good faithMy case is being prolonged without reason or any explanation causing even more emotional distressI have read numerous of complaints were this seems the norm and it’s unjust and technically illegalNo one wants to be involved in an accident AND then have to deal with such poor treatmentI would not recommend National General Insurance to anyoneI initially thought that this was the negligence of one adjuster but after further research people have reported receiving the same exact treat from other adjuster as wellI really hope no one else has to go through thisDrivers please stay away from this insurance companyMaybe then they will better train their adjusters

It has now been days since a National General insured totaled my new car by hitting it in the rear
The car was financed by Ally and the payoff was about dollars ( more or less )Ally has yet to receive a check
days waiting is not acceptable

From my initial sign up with National General Insurance, every representative has been courteous and prompt with information and positivityEvery question was answered kindly with proper direction to further my experience and ease as a new driver

Really went out of their way to make sure we had coverage on my daughter's converted school bus

The Rep was very helpful and friendlyHe immediately followed up with me, even days thereafter, and when he missed my call, and when my cell phone diedThe rep also answered all of my questions in detail, and they have the lowest rates! I would most definitely recommend my family and friends

The team in Spokane, WA are just very kind and go beyond my expectations to meet my needs

They literally harassed me to just get a quote and then when I finally answered the call and took the time to get a quote, the guy lied about the planThen when I called to find out a bit more about it (because it sounded too good to be true) they told me the complete opposite It's been days since I signed up, and they wouldn't refund my money So I pretty much paid them for absolutely no reason
