Quick, easy and no hassle Our agent was able to save us over $a year

IF I could give minus one star to National General Insurance claims division I wouldWorking with claims rep Gabrielle *** on accident that occurred on Dec 11, As of Jan 2, there has been little or no response from claims rep, had to continues reach out to supervisor for help and finally Jan 2, (by email) she email half information on the claimI had to reach out to my insurance agent Jason at Pegram Insurance to obtain status of claim She would not answer my calls, however, she will return agency call but not the client This was a simple claim and could have been cleared up in one weekDue to insufficient claim handling I have requested my agency to move out policy to another carrierDO NOT USE NATIONAL GENERAL INSURANCE , claim service do not have qualified staff

National General Insurance took responsibility for an accident and refuses to pay the diminshed value on my vehicle The made misleading/statements in regards to my vehicle just to avoid paying the claim The initial representative quit the company in the middle of my claim and that is when the misleading statements They would rather me sue there insured than pay the claim This is a horrible insurance company and if you see there name run

Fast and friendly service

I don't usually take my time to write reviews but I will decided to do it today National General insurance is the worst insurance ever I paid for a policy in full for months And moths later I got a charge for $because I did not provide proof of insurance for other members of my householdMind you, I am renting from these people They are not even familyI have never heard of that with any other insurance companyAll the customer services agents and the managers are worthless I have been robbed and taken advantage of by that companyNow my account is overdrawn as a result of their unauthorized transaction and they won't do anything to helpI regret giving them my business I will not be renewing with themI am trying to cancel my policy with them and that's another nightmarePlease don't buy any kind of insurance from these people They are crooks and scammersThe worst ever!!!

Involved in a wreck on 7/5/in which a cab hit me in the rearCalled my insurance co which happens to be N.G to have a adjuster look at my truckThe N.Gadjuster quoted the damage to be to dollarsOnce N.Gfound out that they also covered the cab cothey tried to settle by sending me a check for dollarsthe body shop est was dollarsat the body shop a small dent was also found in the tailgate about inches above the wreck area in which N.G said to me that I must had wrecked again between 7/5/and the time I have a appointment at the body shop on 8/1/I explained the the truck had not been in another wreck and the adjuster said that he believed I was lying to himthe small dent was estimated to be between and dollars to repairover this incident I cancelled my Home owners and car insurance the very dayI called the Adjuster his supervisor and his supervisor but to no availThousands of my dollars lost to their company over a to dollar dent and a adjuster who does not mind calling a year costumer a lair

On 7/31/2017, National General received a complaint about their handling of an insurance claim ( claim number ***) My vehicle was hit while parked, and I was not presentShelby *** ( Phone Number ***) accused me of fabricating my account of the incident, despite the evidence, including a police report, presentedHe stated that I would not receive the benefits of my policy until I admitted fault After messages were exchanged via the Revdex.com, Michelle *** (email: Michell.***@NGIC.com phone number x: 82684) sent a letter stating that they reviewed the incident further and would pay the claimThe check has since been received and cashed and I NEVER ADMITTED FAULTCurrently, I am trying to get added as a rated driver on my girlfriend's policy, with National General, in order to have coverage if I need to drive her vehicleTo my dismay, the accident is showing as an at-fault accident on my driving record and the claim is still openHer agent needs a lett

We had a policy with National General for only three monthsDuring those three brief months they messed up our policy repeatedlyIt began when we called to have our payment date moved, We were told originally that we had to call ten days in advance in order to move our dateWe called within that time frame, The CSR we talked to told us it was not a problem and the date was moved On the original date, we received a service charge for a return check feeWe calledthe CSR told us that we could not move our date because we did not give enough noticeShe proceeded to tell us that we had to give days noticeThe payment was set up for the new date and they refunded the return check feeThe next month my payment was not debited out of my account as it should have beenI called the day after it was supposed to come outThe CSR told me to give a few days because sometimes it takes time to show at the bankI gave it a week and called backThis time I was told that my policy was cancelled the previous month due to no payment being madeI was livid at this pointNOTHING BUT LIES had I received since day one with this companyNot only did they cancel my policy, THEY REPORTED TO THE DMV THAT I WAS UNINSURED!!! This cost me additional money to prove that I indeed had insurance and it was currentI just cancelled this policy before this month's payment came outWe notified the company They again took payment out unlawfully and proceeded to tell me that I still owed a payment even thought the policy was cancelledDO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!! BE WARNED!!!! LIARS!!!!!

I'm with a small trucking company that utilizes NGI for our commercial liability and cargo insurance required by the US GOV Upon payment of a commercial policy the insurance company is required to submit a BMC 91X and BMC to the FMSCA per government requirements to confirm the trucking company has the proper required insurances to operate as a commercial carrier and broker The date National General was supposed to file our BMC form was prior to April 28th They filed on May 8th and find no fault in their actions Even more frustrating, in my first call to NGI to find out why our FMSCA operating authority was revoked, NGI blamed the FMSCA as having bad systems because they filed on-time
This major oversight and mistake caused the FMSCA to revoke our operating authority This not only impacted our business, it also impacted our customers who depend on us to deliver their products We lost revenue of over $while we waited for our operating authority to be reinstated This out of service not only hurt our business, customers, and reputation, it also hurt our drivers as they were not able to work during this time
In addition to the damages listed above, we paid $to the US GOV to reinstate our authority I asked the FMSCA Rep while on the phone, if this type of situation happens often and they said yes, it is not uncommon for commercial insurance agencies to not file the BMC forms on-time Thus causing this type of damage to other trucking companies throughout the US
I had my agent call NGI and I called to discuss a remedy for lost revenue for a clear lack of providing a service that was paid for but not provided, their response, "we don't pay for lost revenue." Repeated several times
The SrManager that I spoke with said that she would have someone from NGI underwriting department follwith me the week of 5/ No one from National General has followed-up
I spent over $30,with NGI in and I will not be doing business with NGI at any point in the future after the expiration of our policy Because of this clear lack of customer service, attention to detail, and lack of ownership of mistakes, I recommend that any small trucking company NOT use NGI for their commercial insurance
