I would give them zero stars if I could If you have a RV policy and sell your vehicle, they hit you with a fee When you call customer service they run you around in circle Everything is set up to be stuck with them or pay feesNever have experienced this with an Insurance company and will never use them again They are "partnered" with *** ***, hope *** *** knows how they treat their customers

At first they were very helpful throughout the claim process, but after everything was over and I requested a diminished value on the vehicle, everything went down hillThey agreed to a very low numberI had an appraiser take my care and he valued it almost dollars moreI wasn't expecting the full amount, but I wanted what was deserved in the situation when there is frame damageThey hired their own appraiser, which is expected in this situation, and purposely had him low ball the numbersThey were not accurate and I have now had different appraisers look at it that were biased and not working for the insurance company and they both came to a median of more than what they offered me to begin withTheir client hit me, not the other way aroundI shouldn't have to pay for what they didAs a suggestionGet a lawyer before you dispute these thingsIt has truly helped me and helped free up the time I would have had to spend

Provided information needed to delete auto from insurance coverageStill being charged months laterI have faxed documents and confirmation of receipt but national general states they didn't receive it and I'm out the months of premium

Company does NOT replyI had my car hit July 27, spoke with an agent a week later set up to have my car appraised to assess the damages another week after that it is now October 11thI have emailed and called the agent several times since the appraise came mid AugustI have not gotten one reply to my numerous emails and phone calls or received any paperwork in regards to my claimI have no idea of the status of my claim It is very frustrating to have to wait when it is a very simple claim

Extremely professional cost less than expected knowledgeable friendly pleasant and in this day and age with so so customer service our agent went above and beyond

I love them ! They take care of me so well ! I am greatful and thankful to them for caring so much about my wellbeing!

WARNING!!!!! This insurance company is TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!!!
National General Insurance is the WORST INSURANCE AGENCY!! We filed a claim January & today is April and STILL my claim has not be resolved! The customer service is absolutely terrible, unprofessional, unpleasant & rude The claim adjusters have done nothing to help us get our claim resolved We have had claims adjusters, Sandy, Diana & Sue and not of them could help usOnly to get our claim turned over to the claims manager Neil who keeps giving us the run around This is a terrible situation and is still unresolved From January until now (April) we have not received any help and courtesy call to inform us of new adjusters handling our claim They won't pay the claim because they feel the price is inadequate Their insensitivity, lack of compassion and customer skills is disturbing

Although their premiums are reasonable, I feel I was taken advantage of intentionallyLong story shortened I paid my premium installment $online using an echeckFor some reason I was charged the full amount $1323, instead of the installmentUpon contacting the company twice for resolution I find out they are one of the few that payments aren't allowed to be modified or cancelled(Even the cell phone companies allow you to cancel payments.) So, the only solution they have is wait day for it to process then cancel, where it will be rejected through my bank, then I can pay againKeep in mind I had to drive to nearest town with bank, pay the stop check fee at my bank and I cant try to pay my premium again, it will be cancelled for nonpayment, because for now it shows I have a no balance due Beware of this companies tactics when using the installment planIt is better to be able to pay the full amount but not everyone has that much cash Their payment company needs a modification process onlineVery simple fix or quit trying to dub peopleVery disappointed but will keep my insurance here for nowJust wanted to vent

First I am not a customer, thank GOD, and hopefully I never will beI was hit by a customer and the agent, I wouldn’t even call her that, Amanda is by far the worst agent I have ever had to deal withFirst she told me what I needed to do to make sure everything was in order to get a rental while my car was in the shopI had warned her how the rental company was in my town if you had to call in a rental on short notice but she assured me everything would be fine as long as I called her on a Friday or MondaySo I called and emailed her on a Friday even though my car would not go into the shop until TuesdayNo reply about anything not even an “out of office” noticeSo I called the main office on Monday I think and they gave me her managers number so I left him a message no return eitherSo Tuesday I get a call from her and she had me call the rental and try and rent a carGuess what? What I had warned her about was the truthNo car until Wednesday around 10:So I had to call the shop and I had to give Amanda instructions to call the rental company while I talked to the shopI’ve had also told her I work third and what times to call or just email me but she didn’t care about me having to sleep so I got calls at different times while I was trying to sleepSo with her being out of the office for what ever reasonShe should have at least been a little more considerate for others than herself and have someone take her calls or at least leave another agents number on her voicemailSince the shop got my car a day later it would be a day later to get finished but Amanda didn’t think of that eitherSo I emailed her yet again to find out what to do about getting the rental for another dayNever heard from her about thatShe called after I had already found out for myself from the shop and the rental company she was so graciously going to approve it for one more day but she didn’t leave a voicemail or even attempt to send me an email saying the rental was approved for one more daySo I just wanted to let the company know what an irresponsible agent Amanda is and maybe if she could be a little more considerate for non customers and less selfish she might make a great star gazer one dayThank you for your time and letting me vent

Great company, we have been with them for years now We had one incident (Slab Leak) and they took care of it immediately, gave us the option to hire our own contractor or go with theirsGreat pricing even here in SoCal***

BEWARE of THIS INSURANCE COMPANYRecently my son was involved in an auto accident that was 100% the fault of the other driverThe other driver was texting and driving and slammed into him causing him to hit the car in front of him because they were both stoppedOur son told the insurance adjuster he was staying with his grandparents in Oregon at the time of the accidentBecause of this detail, they are trying to get out of offering us any assistanceIt will cost them nothing because ultimately the other driver is at fault, however, they have spent the last three weeks trying to get out of helping us with this claim at all and are telling us it's because the car was "Garaged" somewhere elseWe have paid them thousands of dollars and NEVER EVER filed a claimThe first time we need their assistance, they cancel our policy and don't want to help us settle with the driver's insurance companyI can't warn you enough to stay away from these guysThe way they have treated us...it's hard to believe they'd treat a victim of an accident that had injuries this waySHAME ON THEM!

I called with a question about my billThe customer service rep was personable, knowledgeable and stayed on with me to answer all my questions about payment, coverage and the websiteVery impressed

*** referred us to this companyWe've only been with the company about two months.The onboarding process was easy and customer service has addressed most concerns so far by actively listening to our concerns and matching us with best policy to fit our needs Our policy decreased a few dollars and we still have same coverage as before on two of our vehicles

This company owns my current auto insurance - Direct Auto & Life Insurance and this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever facedMy car was hit while it was parked in my apartment complex (I wasn't driving the vehicle at all or inside of it), someone hit my car resulting in $11,in damagesI have been with this insurance company for years and as long as I was paying them $200-$250/month (full coverage) on time things were fine until I filed my first claim with themFrom being transferred from person to person, being assigned different adjusters, my appraiser didn't make it out to give an estimate on the damages until days after the wreck, my car was sitting wrecked for weeks before these guys paid upTheir customer service team was very impatient and unprofessional, constantly sending me to the voicemailI would advise all to look away when you this insurance name and their child-company - Direct Auto & Life come up

Worst company I dealt with so farThey suddenly increased my car insurance without letting me know in advance saying that they asked me (by email, duh) for my foreign drivers licence and they never receive itI never received an email from them, so they decided to increase my insurance with $to a total of $When I contacted them to see how come I got my insurance increased and was willing to send them the documents they were asking..they said it's too lateWhat a scam of a company! STAY AWAY!!!!!
