Very awesome and easy to deal withI unfortunately got a crack in my windshield the next day and it was coveredI would refer them to anyone

Their customer service Rep was amazing and very helpful when I called in to pay our premium She answered all my questions and went above & beyond to help me

I was rear ended by a National General policy holder and dealing with National General was awful!
Julia Leon was the adjuster handling my incident and she never returned my calls or emails
While my car was being repaired, I needed a rental car and had to pay out of pocket and submit for reimbursement I submitted the necessary paperwork on January 3, and have not received a check or response to my email or calls

My wife's car was backed into by a customer of Imperial Fire & CasualtyMy insurance company and myself tried to make contact with Imperial per their claims numberMy insurance company got someones voice mail of whom "never" returned the callI myself kept getting put on hold by the system then the phone would hang upWhen I finally did get a hold of someone I had to go through the IT depart and get transferredI told them about the accident and gave them all of the informationThey stated they would get it processed and someone would get a hold of meOf which the said person didmonths later I had to call the person back to find out the status of the claimShe told me she closed the claim and sent it to another agent who was supposed to get in contact with meWhich didn't happen until I contacted them myself, only to find out the person who hit had cancelled the policy in MayThe accident happened in June, but when I had spoke with the Imperial, they never stated the

National General has to be the worst business I have ever dealt with I got them for my Health Insurance which is *** which is billed to ***  I really have no idea So confusing Anyway, I am paying almost $a month for a family of only to have a test needs to be pre-certified I am having difficulties breathing This pre-cert has been ordered days ago and still is not done Meanwhile, my breathing is not getting better and I keep paying my premium Many other things that have happened since Jan with this company, but this is the topper Absolute worst business I have ever worked with!!!

This is by far the worst insurance company I have ever usedI made a claim a month ago and still have yet been told what shop to take my car toI have sat on hold for literally hours with the corporate number on multiple occasions only to be hung up on when someone finally answersI have called the adjuster assigned to my claim many times and have left many voicemails - because he doesn't EVER answer his phone - and have not received a single call in returnI have been forced to drive my car which is obviously very unsafe for a month now because NOTHING has been taken care of

I HAVE BEEN INSURED WITH NATIONAL GENERAL FOR FOUR YEARS AND SUBMITTED MY FIRST CLAIM LAST MONTH SO FAR, IT HAS BEEN WEEKS AND STILL NO RESOLUTION IT SEEMS THE COMPANY ESTIMATOR AND THE REPAIR STATION DISAGREE ON THE REPAIRS NEEDED I WILL PROBABLY NOT SEE MY RV BEFORE LABOR DAYNEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS!

I am very upset in the manner in which I was treatedI called to purchase a flood policy for the home I am buying and spoke with Eddie RobinsonHe was polite and gave us a newly mapped rateAwesome so I purchased the policy right awayAs the week drug on and I waited for my finalized copy I was sent on a wild goose chaseAfter requesting the papers to sign to bind my policy I was sent numerous times my HOMEOWNERS policy that had been finalized a month agoI even asked Eddie about it and it never was acknowledgedWe went back and forth everyday for a week, basically to the point of begging Eddie to call me and do his job, with Eddie (his manager Kevin who was rude and couldn't help at allliterally told me he couldn't help without Eddie's assistance) and our lender to only realize he NEVER sent the paper to even write the policy!!! I PAID FOR SOMETHING THAT HAD NEVER BEEN WRITEN!!! Then to get kicked in the face basically by being told that not only do you not get that awesome rate you owe us $more before we will finalize your policyWe were going to accept that because at this point we've already changed our closing date twice due to thisWe were set to close and our lender called us to tell us we now needed to show we have $4,more! When I asked why they replied: for the FLOOD INSURANCEWhen I tried to get in touch with Eddie I called on a Thursday and left a voicemail explaining the new amount and needing to talk to find out why the increaseNo returned callI called numerous times on Friday and Mondayon Monday when I called and went to voicemail immediately I called back to back over times to have him finally answer and tell me he sees me calling and will call back before end of businessI still received no phone callI called again on Tuesday still no answer or call backI now have to move my closing date for the THIRD time! I had to call and get through to an underwriter! She was very kind and understanding and gave us our options to dead file or proceedEddie knowing this was our primary residence since I told him on several occasions this is our first home set our policy as the non primary residence! This caused our already ridiculous $2400/yr premium to $4,491/yr!!This man continuously "dropped the ball" as he said and showed little to no empathy to the trouble this has caused us and then continued to do a horrible job at his job! We cancelled the policy thankfully got the money we already paid backWe now have had to extend our closing AGAIN! which now has put us out EVEN more money due to keeping our rateWe are now a month and a half behind on closing due to this and only thisWe also will be cancelling our other policies with National General as soon as they are up***customer service needs major improvement***

I would have given them starsProbably the only company in the country who cannot use computer and emailsThey sent a letter for payment to my old mortgage bank never looped me or my new mortgage bank on thatWe came to know about that when my new mortgage owner didn't see the insurance renewalWe called immediately did a conference call and a payment was madeAfter a month they sent another letter saying payment processed but insurance not renewedTop of that deducted 75$ for some processing feeThe reps lied through their teeth somehow making it our faultI switched to a diffrent company..would always mention don't go with national general insurance

Horrible company! Overpriced for the coverageI dropped them for a different insurance and have been trying to get a refund from them for months!! Every time I call they've lost another part of my address and say they've corrected it and my check will be comingNever comes

This the first policy experience I've had with National General I'm finding them a joy to work with They answer their phones without being on hold foreverI've never been given a run around and each time I've called my requests were attended to immediately and to full satisfaction They aim to please and the quote they gave me was even better
