Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to address the complaint that Mr*** has filedIt is important for us to hear from our customers and we will strive to meet your expectations. Our Field Leadership Team has done a full investigation in regards to Mr***’s interactions with our storeThey have found that our Team Members assist the customer to the best of their abilities and went outside of policy twice as good will to assist on parts returnOur team member interviews completed during investigation confirmed that Mr*** was very aggressive, cursing and screaming at our team members to the point where they felt their safety was a concernAt that time, Mr*** was asked to leave our storeHowever our team did complete the two returns for him that fell out of our policy and procedureBelow is our response to address the “Desired Settlement” that Mr***’s presented to you1. The store in question that the customer visited does not have audio recording capabilitiesNor do we have plans to outfit them with that technology at this time. 2. Our Limited Life Time Warranty is for the life time of the part against manufacture defects in workmanship and materialsThe returns we did for the customer were due to wear a tear and are not covered under our policy; however as good will we did complete the returnThese returns where approximately years old and no defects were identified in the product returnedFor reference, most parts fail in the first days due to defective workmanship or materials useda. The part in question has now been return / exchanged for the customer twice outside of policy as good will and at this time we have communicated to the customer that no further returns will be accepted on this part3. Following our extensive full investigation by our Field Leadership Team and interviewing all team members at the store that witnessed or interacted with this customer, we firmly believe there was no discrimination in our service to this customera. Our District and our Regional Vice President have also spoken with Mr*** at length to address his concernsAt this time we feel we assisted the customer with the proper service and satisfactorily resolved his concernsIncluded is the link to our Warranty Policy for your review*** Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products to our CustomersThank you for allowing us to respond to this concern

In regards to the complaint that Mr*** has filed we would like to respond furtherAt this time Advance Auto Parts supports the manufactures findings; but is still sending the $check as a gesture of good will.As previously stated for the Mustang, we have claim # *** that we opened just days ago after receiving this complaint. Our warranty claims team was not contacted regarding this claim; so AAP was unaware of this opportunity. I just want to address a few problems that caused me to go to Revdex.com:I filed a dispute with *** for the charge on 11/27/From 11/27/until the *** dispute was closed on 12/5/(which was closed in the Seller's favor), I was not contacted once by the seller to let me know they are looking into the issueA simple courtesy call or email letting me know they are trying to figure out what happened goes a long way. When I called the seller's customer service depton 12/5/after seeing that the *** dispute had been closed in the seller's favor, they weren't sure what was going on and told me that I would hear back from both them and *** once the dispute was closedI told them the reason I am calling was because of that very reason - it was closed..After I ended the call with the rep, I filed the complaint with Revdex.comRight after I filed the complaint I noticed I received an email a few minutes prior from one of the seller's "Payment Analysts" stating they found that it was an error and have refunded me.Thank you very much for partial refunds on the two orders I did receiveI really do appreciate it, but honestly at the time of me writing my complaint I just wanted my money backI'll just consider it interest for the temporary loan I gave ya...Happy Holidays

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I must add that while the manager (***) didn't seem to have trouble finding the cash transaction (the 2nd set was from the *** *** ** store) yet whoever answered this complaint to not find itI will be providing the cash receipt as requested, but in no way is this solved until they repair the damagesI purchased axles (R&L) and returned them as they did not fit correctlyI am sure that they did not sell so many that the 2nd sale can't be found as the cash saleThere is cash sale in the records that conveniently "can't" be foundI am certain that if they look at the cash sales and the camera footage that day, they will clearly see my fiance making said purchase at that very time as proofI have no doubt this will not be a chosen option for Advance.Later, I purchased the 2nd set to replace the faulty 1st set with cash for the same vehicleIn spite of having the correct vehicle listed, they gave me the incorrect parts*** said that I was given the correct parts the 1st time and incorrect ones the the 2nd time, so it was my faultThis was after he told me if I wasn't a certified mechanic, they would not be responsibleHUH? This shows the length the company will go to, to rationalize this so they don't have to correct their mistakeAT THIS TIME, I am not looking for more than repairs of the damage done by what I believe to be an honest mistake by an employee of Advance autoNow I have no vehicle to drive, my life was put in danger and Advance is to blame.

Regardless of whether or not the purchase was made for *** *** (a company I own) or in my name, (I don't remember) it was paid for using my *** with my name on it. The part number may not match because I purchased a wire alternator according to the company website, but when I opened it at home it was a four wire. I immediately took it back to the store and exchanged it for the correct wire alternator, (when I brought it back I was immediately greeted with "we don't take alternators back"). *** was present at the time and visibly angry that an alternator came back which as I understand is a regular occurrence due to the substandard quality or your carquest parts...the lifetime warranty is a joke and deceptive advertising

this has caused our customerOur Field Management has checked into the issue and found that the fuel pump was bought under the Customer name *** *** on 6/26/Two male customers returned on 6/29/and exchanged the fuel pump due it being defectiveThat same day, one of the male customers from the prior exchange returned to advise the part was defective again and would simply like a refundSince the customer had the original purchase as well as exchange receipts in hand, there was no reason to be suspiciousWe also do allow customers to receive cash refunds for purchases done as debit transactions. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appearfirst on the mustang I contacted them and they said I had to bring part back to advance auto but they originally shipped to my address so they can pick it up at my address if they want to honor the claim since I will no longer step in one of their storeson the suburban that motor missed from day one and I did everything they asked plus somenow they are saying something differentand to top it off the new motor is missing on #and #cylindersit has new plugs, wires, coils and fuel injectorssame problem as last motortold customer I wont deal with warranty company and *** have to go somewhere elselike i've been telling everyone crappy work and they don't take care of customersThe $check as a good will gesture will not be cashedI dont want a good will gesturei want to honor what you said I already have found another company to do business with since you cant seem to flip on what you sayi feel sorry for the people I put motors inthanks for nothing
