Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I wish to be able to get a company that I can count on and I am moving into a senior living home in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and will no longer be able to use the system as all the same services are providedThey have repeatedly threatened me about this and they call me every day about paying them over $which I refuse to pay as I have never signed the contractwith the companyAfter years of service why would I just want to discontinue my service unless the equipment is faulty and that they have no one to come and fix the equipmentWithout the service of a technician I have no way of maintaining my system operational Regards, [redacted]

However, [redacted] did say his company records all calls so they should have record of [redacted] telling me he was sending a camera and adjusting our bill on June 21st The camera showed up over months later and still no adjustment to our bill I suppose [redacted] is a third party also Protect America hires these people that lie to us and they take our money but don't want to take responsibility for their deceptive practices They should be appologizing for not providing the protection we were told we would receive and they didn't deliver; that ultimately led to my son and his family having to move because of a break in Just because they hired a third party dosen't absolve Protect America of their responsibility to the people harmed by the third party they hired

I am rejecting this response because: It is outrageous to think that I should have to pay for equipment I returned in original condition and services I not only failed to receive, but was unable to receive due to equipment being back in the hands of "Protect America." I told the company that I would agree to pay an HONORARIUM in the amount stipulated at $199. This payment itself is an outrage, and I concede no wrong-doing to pay it; it's merely better to prevent unwarranted damage to my flawless credit record to pay their "blood money." I demand that THIS RESPONSE BE PUBLISHED TO PUBLIC VIEW. The public has a right to know what they will be getting into if they make the mistake of joining "Protect America." Furthermore, consumers should go to the site entitled: "Consumer Affairs" in order to view other complaints against "Protect America." And if the Texas Revdex.com continues to rate "Protect America" with an A+ rating after knowing what they know now, I will take steps with my Congressman, *** *** of the 6th District of the State of ***, to further investigate practices originating in Texas affecting his constituency and ***ers in general. I was notified by email yesterday, incidentally, that "Protect America" is turning over my account to a 3rd party collection agency, no mention of that in the company's response. When I called, as usual, I was given the run-around and taunted openly by their agent. Why this company, with all of the egregious complaints outstanding in the public marketplace is allowed to continue to bilk the public, flaunting all protective laws and public decency is beyond me. The Revdex.com should be working to get this company to become a decent member of the community and not just a bunch of rapacious money-grubbing crooks

I am rejecting this response because: I will not call the Protect America number, put on hold a very long time, then when I do get a person, get transferred to another How Dare You Try To Cancel Team Member. Yes I did have to have the account go into hibernation, because the money is not there, due to one person, in the household of (disabled, WITHOUT income at all, and teens in school full time) with an income UNDER $30,000. And the balance owed to this company, can buy needs for my family. But yet, apparently, they don't care about the needs of a family

I am rejecting this response because:although the term was for years at the *** property, we no longer live there due to business relocation The company is hiding behind a contract in order to justify unfair business practices Knowing that we haven't been using the service, this company still refuse to cancel our contract early while every other service provider understands and accommodate job relocations Since the business wanted to quote a recorded call, they need to ackowledge that I did offer to pay an early termination penalty and informed them that I reside on the 18th floor of a fully secured highrise Their response was for me to pay the remaining contract in full or to install and use the service on a 18th floor condo As a consumer I feel that is horrible customer service and an unwillingness to provide a solution for their clientsThis constitutes as bad business practice in my opinion and the bases of this complain and request for full refund If the company wants to offer us a reasonable solution, we can discuss furtherBut forcing a security contract due to job relocation on a 18th floor secured building is a dispicable act to take advantage of customers wile providing no value or service in return This business has wasted my time when they could've easily made a decent judgement call but I am not surprised due to the history of this company on Revdex.com
