I am rejecting this response because:Not one word was mentioned about closing the accountAnd nothing was mentioned about how much it would cost to close account I need something saying what the cost is to close account

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by *** *** on behalf of *** *** *** Dental CoAs per Protect America contract terms and conditions, the contract is for months and we require a day written notice to process cancellation of the accountWe reviewed the
account and were able to reach out to the customer to resolve their concerns with the account

Protect America has received the rejected offer submitted by Mr*** ***We appreciate the opportunity to resolve his concernsWe reviewed the account and callsWe reached out to him on September 06, and attempted to resolve his situationHe stated that he was pressed for time and requested a call back for September 07, We contacted him the following day and left a voicemailThereafter, we contacted Mr*** on September 08, and he advised us that it was not a good time and set up an appointment to contact him on September 12, We have made several attempts to contact Mr*** on September 12th, 15th and the 19th and left several voicemails so as to resolve his concerns to no availWe ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns

*** chose Cellular monitoring due to her not having a landline phoneThe original cost of the package she chose is $Ms*** agreed to the terms and conditions and the year agreement term prior to signing the agreementAdditionally, we provided Ms*** a Z-Wave Daughter Board for Cellular (valued at $35.99) and a Wireless talking keypad (valued at $149.00) at no additional chargeAt this time Ms*** is responsible for the remainder of the agreement term

I am rejecting this response because: It's divisive and designed to ensnare someone into paying more than necessary They knew the contract ended, evaded my calls to express the intent to cancel service just so they could continue charging me I would not recommend this company because they are vultures

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meOnly because the business gave me no other option but to contact them, after I had tried before When I contacted them they claimed they had called my number after my second request for the link to cancel, but I have no record of such attempt nor did they provide me proof that they sent another link to cancel the second time They did not refund me any part of July or August but instead told me I would not be charged for September but I still had to pay the balance of $ After a few days of discussing this further with my wife we went ahead and paid the balance reluctantly because we just want to be done with this company In the link that they sent it stated that the account would close on September 30th 2017, which prompted me to call again because I was told I would not be charged again in September I spoke to someone advised them that I had been working with another person that I named They looked at the account and said we should not be charged in September even though the form clearly states through September I hope this is the case and we can be done and move forward Overall I am not happy with Protect America and how they do business They are very difficult to work with and the last person I spoke with was rude on the phone, as I am assuming they read through the notes and saw we were complaining about the billing and cancellation process I questioned many business practices that they do with them on the phone and how it does not seem right to just not be able to cancel I will not recommend this company to anyone in respect to the contract and billing aspect and ability to cancel

I am rejecting this response because:
Although it says in the agreement that it is a self-install company, a technician came to my home to install the systemI didn't expect my system to start falling a part in a little over a year nor did I expect to be given the run around wen an issue aroseOut of my entire compaint, the company's only response is that I signed a year contractWhat about the faulty equipment, the breakdowns in communication, and the lies??? I am not sure this company is even monitoring my home or are worth the monthly fees that I am paying them. This is not a reputable company and are only in it for money by forcing people to sign a year contract I am not asking for any money back from the time they were monitoring my home but to simply cancel the remainder of my contract as this equipment will not last through my full year contractI do not think I should be forced to pay them an additional $to simply cancelIf the service was good and the equipment wasn't faulty, I would not be trying to cancel my service.
