until September and to call back to have the account set up for cancellationIt is outlined in the agreement that Protect America requires a written cancellation notice days prior to the end of any termAttached is a copy of the agreementIf Mr*** has not already done so, we ask that he submit his written cancellation request to the email address provided by our cancellation department so that we may process the account for cancellation accordinglyOnce the cancellation is processed, Mr*** will receive a confirmation email to his inboxMr*** may contact Protect America at *** to address any further concerns

I am rejecting this response because:it was not a one year extensionIt was a contract start overThat was the misleading part and they are still calling it an extensionI want no further contact from that company and that included emailsI asked when originally paying off the remainder of the contract if this was the end of my relationship with themI wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be subjected to automatic renewal or anything similarSince they mislead me about the extension I was concernedI asked but they would not give me a clear answerThat was the reason for my concern and complaint

I am rejecting this response because:We have ZERO confidence in them By "them", we mean their product, their customer "service" and their equipment Rather than reiterate the myriad issues we've had with this unworthy company, I will ask them/you to reread our initial complaint We do not want their service because they have failed us; repeatedlyWe do not trust themWe do not believe they are capable We refuse to pay for a service we haven't received It's actually pretty straightforward and pretty simple. The only thing we want Protect America, Incto do is to release us from the remainder of our contract, have our account record reflect the contract termination as well as a zero balance, and for them to accept their "equipment" when we return it That is all we want, and this will be the only acceptable outcome for us.

offered free new equipment that would protect her new home adequately without a price increase on the monthly rate in exchange of a renewal contract for the length of monthsMs*** signed the AgreementMs*** called to cancel out the renewal contract and we offered various options to which she declinedWe ask that she allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns

I am rejecting this response because:This information is not only incorrect , it is absolutely NOT TRUE!!!My fist system with Protect America was in 2005, in or around the year of Protect America informed me of the upgrades that they had made to their system, making it a cellular system no longer needing a landline for the servicesIt took me several months to respond as I was/am on a fixed budget, I finally asked them what the cost might be for this upgrade and would my monthly fee change as I could not afford anything higher than I was currently paying $per monthI was informed that all would stay the sameThe increase of $came about as stated before in when I requested a security cameraThis information can be verified through my bank account as I may request bank statements as far back as years.

As explained previously all the equipment that Protect America, Incsent was not received until 4/28/We did charge the monthly amount of $= $tax to the the account which are offering to refund due to the inconvenienceAs previously mentioned we do have the day return policy in place and the $restocking fee that is stated in the terms and conditions of the contract

Protect America, Incwould like to apologize for the feelings felt about the companyAfter reviewing the account we where able to determine and verify that Mr*** acknowledged and understood that there was in fact a contract for monthsThe terms and conditions were fully explained by the
sales representative that spoke with Mr***The documents where verified online which was electronically signed by Mr***Further more it was discussed between the sales representative and Mr*** about the understanding of the equipment being a self installed system, the monthly monitoring rate and our cancellation policyProtect America, Inchas a day return policy which is listed in our contract under our Monitoring Agreement Section

*** *** protect America not only lied about the return they ignored my phone calls and email requests for a quicker resolution.they acted unprofessional and deceitfulThe request was made 12/and not until multiple requests and a letter to the CEO office was my request even considered.I believe it is imperative that others understand how Protect America is dishonest

Our records show that we resolved Mr*** complaint through the Consumer Protection Division for the State of TexasHis account was immediately cancelled effective June 12, with a zero balance and no further obligation to Protect America

I am rejecting this response because: if they check records I have called multiple time no system will work in my house unless I drill holes in my 1930's doorI did not sign the agreement in as it was a reprint of my prior signature I would like to be let out of the contract and I will pay the last two months of the bill to be fair Though I feel you guys have done little to nothing to assist in my needsIf I am not let out of the contract and continue to receive bills I will just let it go to the creditors and will give nothingI'm trying to be kind by not taking further actionThis company has in no way shape or form handled the issue of my system not working other than giving an option to potentially ruin an expensive door.
