I am rejecting this response because:Protect America has stopped communication and they should be concerned with trickery business practices their third party vender is telling people to get them to sign a ridiculous agreement which isn't being held to what was verbally promised.

I am rejecting this response because: I was not advised on the phone that there would be a restocking fee IF I did not return the equipment within three daysTransit time is not even three daysI will not be using or referring Protect America nor their cheap equipment and scam procedures ever again.

Protect America, Inchas received the complaint submitted by Mr***If there is an instance where Mr*** has a alarm and feels it is due to equipment error, we have a department dedicated to reviewing and determining if Protect America, Incwill cover that fee for himWe also
have a technical support team that can help Mr*** determine what is causing the alarms and what steps need to be taken to correct the issueThe technical support team can be reached by calling *** option The signed agreement does outline that the service shall be for monthsWe have the necessary support available to him to correct the alarm issuesAttached is a copy of the signed agreement

We have reviewed the rejected response filed by Mr***
and at this time, our records indicate that his account is cancelled but has
also been moved over to 3rd party collections due to non-paymentAs
a proposed solution, Protect America have removed Mr***’s account from 3rd
party collections and we will have no further obligation to each another

terms and conditions of the agreement when he initially set up the account on August 24, The package that he selected included the main control panel plus a mini pin pad that he could use to arm and disarm the systemMr*** is not limited to using the keypads to arm and disarm the systemHe does have access to other options of arming and disarming the system using the Interactive App on his cell phoneThe benefit of the App is that, it provides the freedom of him being able to access the system any where in the countryMr*** contacted us regarding terminating the account and was provided the options available to him to terminate the agreementWe ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns

I am rejecting this response because:Protect America was suppose to obtain licensing to provide security services to Washington D.C resident. My property was not secured at all and this is a violation on Protect America to obtain licensing. And lied about the contract term. The agreement with Protect America is an invalid agreement and should be VOID for non-licensing and unethical practice. I have already file an complaint to the attorney general in Texas again Protect America. I have attached PA state Licenses, DCRA for DC rules to obtain licensing, and an email communication with *** and *** in the Licensing department of PA.PLEASE READ THE EMAIL BELOW.Greetings ***,The attached information (Licensing for Washington, DC) was forwarded to you from Mr*** in the customer service department for Protect America. I called yesterday to demand a full refund for my security services that Protect America is not licensed to provide their services in Washington, DC. I feel that I was mislead by the representative assuming #1. You provide months of services and #2.and falsely placing customers under months, and #reporting negative information on my credit reports from a company who is not license in DC. All this time I assumed my property was protected by your company. I am grateful that is wasn't burglarize or experience a fire. Mr*** indicated that you stated that since it is a DIY no license is required in DC. Your company is DIY in all states including Washington DC and licensing is required. Regards,***Before I file a formal complaint to the attorney general I am allowing you to:Refund all the payments to PARemove the negative information off of my credit reportsSince Protect America isn't license the contract is VOIDIt has been over hours and I have not heard or received any regarding the licensing information Mr*** forwarded to your licensing department. Upon further review, the sales representative did express to Mr*** that he could cancel the agreement by returning the equipment in the first daysTo rid himself of the agreement at this point in the term, he has the option to transfer the system to someone else, or pay off the remainder of the term. We ask that Mr*** allow us the opportunity to further assist with his system

agreement within thirty days of initial shipment date from PAI to CustomerSection states that: Equipment is the property of customer subject to the terms of the agreementThe equipment will be delivered to the address submitted by customer and installed by customer following the installation procedure approved by PAIWe reviewed the account and callsMs*** *** was advised of the terms and conditions of the monitoring agreement when she initially set up the account on April 30, to which she provided her verbal and written consentThe installations department contacted Ms*** *** several times between the dates of May 05, to June 19, Ms*** advised us several times that she was not ready and at one point stated that she will contact us in July to install the systemWe offered Ms*** a credit on the account as an incentive if she installed the system by July to which she acceptedMs*** installed the systemMs*** contacted us to cancel the account and we provided the options available to herWe ask that she allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns

I am rejecting this response because:I have voice mail, never received a voice mail stating they were trying to reach meNever received anything by mailDidn't realize I needed to give a day cancelation or I would have, I had these services because I was under victim witness, due to threats to take my life were being madeI tried to explain to the collection agency and they wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and would not work with meWhile obtaining services thru the company I paid monthly in which was taken directly out of my checking account at the time therefore per my consistentancy in paying timely clearly I'm not trying to rip anyone of nor was I intentially trying to breach any contract which by the way my services were set up via phone (wireless connection) I never physically signed anything Due to my good standing while having services I don't feel like I should be held accountable for something I canceledThis is nothing but a scam and money maker and very unethical
