I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
I disagree with Palmco energy's sales strategy and assessment of what their sales representative described at my door . They falsely represented their company and I was mislead into believing by the representative that came to my home that they could save me significantly on my energy billHad the representative of their company himself thoroughly explained every detail of Palmco's services I would have been able to make a more educated decision about their services. I am a very dissatisfied consumer who wants nothing more than a clear, non-sugar coated explanation from a so called expert sales rep of a product that is required to survive. All I wanted to do was save money or I would never have signed onto a contract that was going to cost me more then I was currently paying with ***That makes no sense to do soSincerely , *** ***.

Good day, I spoke to Palmco rep on 6/*, *** pursued to tell me all the rules and signed agreement on the variable rate, I advised her again it was not addressed to me verbally by their rep instead the rep confirmed Palmco rates were always lower the *** I even showed the young lady my recent bill and she circled the rate on agreement therm and per KWH Even if a variable rate applies it should be a reasonable rate based on a real market they have no explanation to justify the rates on certain months based on their purchase to their wholesales or what markets they're basing this from She offered me a credit of $And chg, which I did not acceptThe month that Palmco charged me the highest rates was the month my gas was high estimated by *** because the prior months they had not had access to the bsmnt to read the meter which was my April statement, one of her reasoning for rate being so high was due to the cold winter however the months that were really cold from Nov thru March their gas rate jumped to Again because from November thru March my reading was at Nov is when they started distributing my electric their rates KWH, DEC started electric and gas on usage And January Gas therms on usage and KWH, February THERMS on usage and KWH, March therms on estimated usage, and KHW and my April high estimated usage is per therms based usageAnd Per KWH As you can see their KWH were never as offered and coincidently the??

We have still not received a check, My husband was originally told weeks, and on 4/** was told weeks Therefore, we are not ending this complaint until check comes We currently owe $and they are supposed to be sending us a check to HELP compensate for the absurd overcharging that has been going on We are still not satisfied, but believe the business is attempting to resolve this issue

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
When I called in early Jan., I didn't know PalmCO will charge $per therm for gas in Jan., **I used therm and the total cost PalmCO charged is $PSE&G per therm price for Jan**is $0.60, and total is $
Electricity, PalmCO charged per Kwt, total charge is $for 182KwtPSE&G charge is $per Kwt for Jan, **, and total is $I am asking for a total deduction of for the month of Jan**from PalmCO
I am only asking for Jan**deduction now because the total bill from PSE&G is over $including the delivery chargeI am not able to pay itI cannot afford itIn fact, their charge has never been lower than PSE&G since I enrolledAnd I paid all previous months' chargesBut for Jan., the price tripled the market price
I have paid PSE&G's delivery charge for Jan., I haven't paid PalmCO's charge yetI can only pay PalmCO $for Janand can write them a check if they agreeFor the next bills (since PSE&G cannot disconnect PalmCO gas service until the end of March), I will do the same thing
On the phone when I asked the agent whether she pays these rates at homeShe avoided answering me directlyThe answer is clearly "no", otherwise she will say yesObviously, it is a fraud contract, because the *** at my door promised it's a long-term saveI didn't receive their welcome packageAccording to their fraud contract, they can charge customers $or even $per therm because according to their logic and contract, it is "variable"And this "variable" is not governed by reason and conscience
I would like to request email contact with PalmCO's agent because she doesn't allow me time to do the calculationI asked to call her back because my bill was not in front of meI felt that I was forced into an agreement with her on the phone

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
I normally don't pay the bills as the wife doesI found out about the variable rate because my bill skyrocketed over the course of monthsIt gradually went from .041(the rate I was told it wold be, to kwh) I have called this company numerous times on my on time and will be put on hold for 10+ minutesI don't have time to sit around on my own time and money waiting for them to speak to meI emailed this company one time and never received a response from themI spoke with a lady last week (3/*/14) about my bill, I informed her that my portion of just Electric was almost $more than what it would have been if I stayed with Ameren IllinoisThe lady told me I was wrong and don't know how to read my billThis is an example of my current bill:
kwh x (PalmCo's rate) = $just for Electric through PalmCo
kwh x .047(Ameren's current rate) = $for the same electricity
This is an overcharge of $186.
Seems pretty easy to understand to meSince she told me I was wrong, I asked her to call me back on 3/*/between 12-1:pm CSTThey called at 3:pm CST while I'm teaching a classI called them on 3/*/at 1:pm CST and hung up after being on hold for minutesThey have not attempted to call me sinceThis company has hours that only are good for them, not their customers

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becau
I am not disputing their right to raise my rate to whatever rate they choose to raise itI asked them why my rate had increased percent from fair market rates
To which they would not give me any response other than what was agreed upon in the contractMy concern was I was not given any notice of the huge rate increaseI believe their actions were morally and ethically wrong and their should be laws to protect consumers from these business practiceI would argue the credit they offered would not have even covered half of the huge increase they charged me and would not have protected me from any future huge rate increases

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
On March **, I received via e-mail a copy of the oral transcript of the phone call of the phone conversation between my dad *** *** and PALMco representative. After hearing this conversation the representative did not give his name to my dad and harassed my dad into taking this plan. This robo call was made at 8:48pm in the evening, my dad thought he was talking to a person when it was a female recording asking him questions and then a male voice comes on to correct him and made *** *** give all information required to get this energy plan; (home address, phone number, DOB, account numbers for gas & electric). *** *** was forced to take this, and you could hear the confusion in ***'s voice and he was taken advantage ofI can forward this call to you via e-mail upon request
I want to know how PALMco got my parent's home number; the company said that my dad agreed to this contract and he was forced into the contract. Please be advised that on March **, on ABC action news On Your Side had complaints from customers that had contracts with PALMco/*** ***. I also have copies of their segment on this matter. on Your Side did get refunds for these customers. I tried to get PALMco to give my father back more money then what they are offering him. I was told by their representative *** he will forward this complaint to their Resolution Department. When you call PALMco your on hold for minutes
and I was cut office twice by them. They prefer you to e-mail their customer service department with your complaint or concerns
to and hour and I've been cut off twice by them. The rep told me it's better to e-mail my matters to them

We also advised *** *** that per the determination of ***, *** ***’s gas account is scheduled to end service with PALMco on 5/*/ *** *** thanked us and ended the call
The Palmco sales reps came to my door in PA I don't open my door to strangers so I spoke with them through my window From the first word out of their mouth the red flags started coming up They wouldn't just leave a pamphlet in my mailbox as I requested; had an answer or excuse to every question I asked; kept trying to keep the conversation going and tried to make me think that I needed and wanted their serviceThese are all marketing ploys They asked for my digit account number on my bill, which they named it something else; I didn't give it to them of course They said they were only going to use the number to go to *** and lower my bill for two months The end result was I said I'd have to do some investigating first - don't call me I'll call you! I agree with the last guy's statement that they just want to get your account number, have you sign their little clipboard they carry around and then without your fully understanding, you've given your consent to change your electric over to Palmco Never ever sign anything or give anyone your personal info in person or on the phone!
