I have been a buyer and seller on this website for about years now I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Poshmark Unlike other platforms, Poshmark does have both a seller and buyer protection policy I have benefited from both since I do buy ALOT and also sell As a buyer, they have refunded me funds for items I received and were not as described and as a seller they have protected me when not so honest buyers want to get a way with doing things that are not honest I truly recommend this app to sell or buy and do recommend you follow their guidelines strictly Only when you don't follow the guidelines is when you come across issues like the ones I've been reading here Almost % of the negative reviews are due to people not following their guidelines

I ordered a dress on their website which was advertised as new with tagsI received a used dress that was a replica of the brand advertised, and not authenticI submitted a claim for a return and refund on this order and Poshmark denied my claim without explanationI have contacted them several times since without a response from themThey have stolen money from meAccording to their Posh protect policy, my purchase should have been covered and refunded on the basis of it not being as advertised as well as it not being authentic

The seller, *** ***, filed a formal return dispute in our appUnfortunately, the photo proof that she provided was not sufficient evidence to determine the original condition in which the item was shippedWe resolved the dispute with the seller by providing her with "Posh Credit" as a

I recently purchased my first item from PoshmarkThe item was described by the seller as "New Without Tags (NWOT)"The skirt I received was anything but newThe item had noticeable pilling, stains, and frayingNo big deal I thought, "I can shop with confidence, I am protected as a buyer." Posh protect is something that this company really pushes on it's consumersI have to admit I was lulled in to a sense of security and thought that this might become a new shopping addiction for me because unlike other vendors, you can return an item if it is not as describedTHIS IS SOOOOOO INCORRECTWhen I went to open the app to file a claim regarding the skirt I received I clicked on the order and noticed that the app stated it had been delivered (which it had) so I clicked on the skirt and started looking for the correct place to file a claim regarding this orderSomehow when I clicked on the item it was then marked as "accepted"I was panicked because there was NO WAY that I would have accepted the skirt in its given stateI IMMEDIATELY submitted an email to customer service explaining the whole situation (you can't call them apparently)I sent them photo proof of the skirt to support my claimsI did not hear back from customer service for AT LEAST 1.5-dayswhen they finally did email back they told me that they would give me a nominal credit (which they stated I should be grateful for) on my account but they could not return the item because I had already accepted itI sent a response explaining that I did not accept the order, I was trying to submit a claim to have the order returned and while I appreciate the credit, I would much prefer a refundANOTHER 24-hours later I receive another response saying that they can not help me because I did not submit a claim within the hour window of receiving the itemI sent another response stating that when I clicked on the item in the app it had been marked as acceptedwhen I realized this I immediately sent an email (thus starting a claim) and this was done within the hours!!!! I have asked at least twice for a customer service rep to call me so that I don't have to keep waiting days to receive a responseAt this point it's not about the skirtI feel like the customer service representatives are blowing me off and do not care to take the time to help me sort this situation outA company is only as good as the representatives who support itI WILL NOT shop at poshmark againBuyer bewareif there is an issue with your order you will be left out to dry

In addition, a member of our disputes team reached out today because the package is lost in transitWe issued full earnings to the seller for this order, as well as re-sent the pictures from the buyer's claim

I have use Poshmark several times to purchase various different things however a seller did not disclose the correct size of an item when I contacted Poshmark to return the item they told me all sales are final there is no place anywhere on their app or in anything that I clicked that says that there are no returns that all sales are final this is extremely misleading with clothing because if the seller does not say the correct size the buyer just has to assume the loss because they don’t except returns even though absolutely no where is it stated that returns are not allowed this should be not allowed to happen

Poshmark is allowing users “posters” to sell non authentic items “fake” for high prices
