Precision Air & Heating, Inc. Reviews (1087)

I was very impressed with the professionalism of our service technician James. I am sure we will be returning customers when we need service.

I am extremely satisfied with precision air and their services that they have provided to me as well as my family also I'd like to think Manny the maintenance technician who arrived on time was very polite punctual and treated us with integrity thank you precision air and a big thank you to Manny for all you help us out with

garrett was very helpful and he explained all the work before he did it it was a pleasure doing business with precision air and heating.

I would like to think Manny with precision air, I just like to say that he is very professional polite and knowledgeable and very trustworthy I've been doing business with Percision so far Manny has been the best and most intellectual tech that I've ran into I would like to say thank you to Manny once again also he is a very very very great asset to your company

Manny was very helpful and courteous explaining the issues with our AC unit.

Manny was great .... Precision has awesome service alway on time and punctual

I came home from vacation to a broken ac. I called precision air and they were able to schedule me in my alloted time frames. Aaron came out first and was super nice and helpful. An hr later Claude came out to measure and quote me for a whole new unit because mine was beyond help. He was able to quickly schedule my new unit the next day. Also explaining the ins and outs and different options. Tuesday Guy and Eric came out. They were nothing but kind and as quickly as one can replace an entire inside and closet unit were able to give me a new unit. They answered questions and were courteous. Even going as far as apologizing for slamming a door, I don't think it slammed at all. They answered my questions explained everything very well. Excellent job and thank you!!

Nick came out and walked me through what was needed. he has been our tech before, and he has always done a great job. I have a 27 year old unit on its last legs. Nick and his manager, Mike, ran through the options with me, and they were able to get me a plan with financing within a few hours. I am having a lot done, but I am confident in the quality of work as I have worked with Precision in the past. First rate service.

Nick R came to do a follow up inspection of our unit. He first cleared up some miscommunication from a prior visit which greatly concerned us. We had contacted other companies but he did a good job explaining your company policies which reassured us.

In his inspection he found some serious issues which he explained in detail. He worked with the company to get us a new unit within our price range.

Because of his professionalism and knowledge he saved our business. He is a good asset to your company. We will ask for him for any future service.

As usual Precision Air was prompt and courteous. It is a pleasure to work with people who still have a positive work ethic.

Although we have had an A/C contract with Precision for 10 years this is the first time to request plumbing service. I called the office at 7:45 on a Friday morning and was shaking [redacted]'s hand at 8:45 after he completed the job WOW!!! Never expected that to haappen!!

We've had a PM contract with this company for several years for heating/air conditioning and plumbing. The company responds promptly to calls for help. Today [redacted] came for the annual inspection. He was courteous and informative, as have been all the technicians and repairmen we've dealt with. It's a good company.

Manny was very nice and explained everything great. Very nice experience.

Today I had the technician Manny service my AC Unit. I was very pleased at how
Through in explaining what he needed to do, as well as answer all of my questions...and I had a lot of Questions. I will continue to use the service of Precision Air from here on out. Thank you Manny for understanding my position.

Today Jacob from Precision air and heating came to our home. He was not only friendly but extremely thorough and professional. The issue at hand ended up not being what we originally thought. However, he made sure to contact the proper technician and ensured we were taken care of. Thanks, from Corey and Kyle Scott.

I would just like to say that we had you guys out on Friday the 16th – and it was a very positive experience. Thursday night our air wouldn’t turn and after trying the basics (checking the breaker box, checking the fuses at the unit outside, making sure the thermostat was programmed correctly, etc.) we decided to have you guys back out as we purchased our unit from you a few years ago. The technician that was sent out was Jacob. He was very professional, courteous, made us feel right at home. The issue was our condensation line was blocked up (at the air blower in the attic). Instead of just charging us for that, Jacob helped us to save some money and in turn did a complete service on our entire unit. He even showed us how to perform some preventative maintenance so that this sort of thing doesn’t happen in the future. Overall – it was a great experience and we didn’t have to pay anything close to what we were afraid we were going to have to pay – I would certainly recommend Precision Air & Heating to anyone! Great job, guys!!

Recently, Nick R. came to our home for an A/C inspection. He also was the same person who came out last year for the same reason. On both occasions I found Nick to be very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Particularly, he does a good job explaining any recommendations in such a way that makes sense.

Review: Last summer we had Precision come out for regular maintenance on our air conditioners. We have used them prior to this without issue. Last year the tech that came out suggested a 3 yr " SERVICE/ MAINTENANCE agreement would be beneficial to us as valued customers. This way all of our service needs and maintenance would be covered at no cost. If a major issue was found it would be discounted at 20% with this plan. Our house is 6 years old now - not that old - but we agreed and the price was $ 742.50.

Fast forward to this spring. We had our kitchen remodeled a little and the builders unplugged the air handler in our garage at that time. On May 20th we attempted to turn on the air and nothing happened. We called precision - they came out the next day - charged me $75 for the call and found the unit unplugged - that was all. I paid - no problem. I then scheduled for my " special service and maintenance " check up. The following week a tech showed up and told me that my cost was $480.00 to clean the condenser coils, drain and clear condensor, and place safety switches in units to prevent flooding. Now, why did I pay $742.00 for service when the ON HOLD message on their phone system states that they :offer tune up and annual maintenance for $159 that includes cleaning coil, adding Freon up to 1 lb , cleaning elec compressor condenser , placing a permanent washable filter guaranteed for 6 mos .? Paying $160 / year X 3 years = $480 ~~~ WHY WOULD YOU PAY $ 742 for less service than that?

I have called - on 6-19-14 I spoke with "[redacted]" who told me I needed to speak with the owner/ manager - [redacted]. I left a voicemail for her that day.

Never hearing back , I called again on 6-25-14 and actually spoke to [redacted] , who told me that she would need to run my request of a refund on this false advertised sold by their tech the summer before, by her " owners" who only frequented the office a few times a month. Why she couldn't call or email them ???????

of course - I never heard back. On 7-23-14 I called asking for [redacted] - they asked my name then came back on the line to tell me she was "just going in to a meeting". I again left a voicemail without the courtesy of a return call.

Now I am an educated person with a higher degree - it isn't rocket science to figure out they are just plain ignoring me. I am now asking for your help in having my $742.50 returned to me as the service I paid for was falsely advertised and is not all what they "sold " last August 29, 2013.. I have receipts and documentation available upon request if needed.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for $742.50 mailed to me as soon as this issue is resolved.

Response:

Precision Air & Heating, Inc. respectfully responds to the above reference complaint for [redacted].

Mrs. [redacted]' complaint is found to be erroneous in nature. She has a mis-conception between what is considered a "Complete AC Tune-Up" versus an Agreement with our company. Her reference to the "ON HOLD" message is additionally false. We have provided a copy of our ON HOLD message recording for your convenience.

Secondly, she has reached out to our company twice since August 2013 for AC service/diagnostic related issues, not preventative maintenance. Both times she has received the benefits of being an Agreement Holder which include discounted services and free service/diagnostic calls in addition to us correcting her issues. The last time our company has serviced Mrs. [redacted] was on 05/21/2014. This visit was to perform her annual agreement visit as per her contract. She was not charged or this visit.

In summary, Precision Air & Heating, Inc. has not falsified any advertisement as Mrs. [redacted] states. Additionally, Precision Air & Heating, Inc. has fulfilled all terms and conditions of Mrs. [redacted] agreement.

We deny the desired settlement Mrs. [redacted] seeks and request immediate dismissal of this complaint as it's of a financial matter outside the scope of the Revdex.com.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

It is unfortunate that this company has decided to be dishonest. The "on hold" message was directly taken from the one of the many times I was on hold waiting for [redacted]. It was EXACTLY what they were advertising. Additionally - On May 15th 2014 as I previously stated - the ONLY thing that was done by Precision in response to my call was to determine why my air would not turn on. [redacted] determined that the air handler was left unplugged by our construction team. [redacted] plugged it in AND I PAID A $75.00 service call without hesitation check # [redacted]. ( is that something that was supposed to be covered by my "contract"?)

Our main ISUUE at hand is the following appointment approximately 2 weeks later that should have been the maintenance that I had previously paid for in their " service and maintenance contract".

On May 21, 2014 when [redacted] arrived and inspected my 2 units I was told ( all of the previously listed issues in original complaint ) that my units needed $1055.00 of service / maintenance. They were not broken and they were not NOT running or cooling. They needed yearly cleaning and Freon update etc. ( an optional smart switch for flooding was $408 of this quote). WHAT DID I PAY $742.00? for ??? that is my question ????? All they can say is 20% off some product you may need, no fee for service calls - HOWEVER I did get charged and I did pay. This is not right and I am a post graduate educated person and I will not be taken advantage of. If I need to pursue this further - I will. I would ask for your assistance in doing so.

Regards,

Response:

8/29/2013 - We were contacted by the homeowner for a diagnostic call. At the time of service, the customer opted to purchase an agreement on two (2) units over a three (3) year period for the amount of $742.50. On this date, the customer also received the benefits of the agreement. The homeowner received a "no charge" service call and discounts for services provided. We have provided invoice [redacted] for you in addition to the terms & conditions of the agreement.

05/15/2014 - We were contacted by the homeowner for a diagnostic call. The homeowner was not charged for a service call. The homeowner was charged a discounted rate for getting the unit operational. We have provided invoice [redacted] for your.

05/21/2014 - We provided annual maintenance under the customer's; contract to inspect two (2) systems in accordance with the agreement holder terms and conditions. We have provided the terms & conditions for you in addition to our invoice [redacted]. this is the homeowner's maih issue in this complaint. This visit represents (1) of her annual maintenance inspections previously paid for under invoice [redacted].

06/19/2014 The homeowner contacted our office to see what is covered by her agreement. We informed her of the benefits of being an agreement holder. The homeowner then requested cancellation of her agreement. She was under the impression the complete tune-up was included as her annual inspection. We informed the customer an inspection and a tune-up are two separate things. She stated her agreement does not cover maintenance and stated we had "false advertising". We have already provided the Revdex.com with our "on Hold" message which the homeowner references.

Again, we spoke with the homeowner and clarified the difference between a tune-up and an inspection and addressed the request to cancel the agreement. The homeowner's request to cancel the agreement was not honored as the homeowner had already received over $600 in benefits of holding an agreement which included free service calls, inclusions and discounted pricing.

To answer the homeowner's additional qusetions in this complaint, the charge of the $742.50 referenced was for the purchase of the Agreement on two (2) AC systems. Secondly, the homeowner was NOT charged for a service call. Clearly, our invoice [redacted] shows the homeowner was NOT charged a fee.

Lastly, the homeowner's complaint now turns from an Advertising complaint to one of a financial nature. Both of these claims are clearly erroneous and the documentation and recordings are evident of such,

Dishonest, Precision Air & Heating, Inc. is not. We hope this post-graduate will take a second look at the facts and come to a clear reality that we have provided and followed through with what was advertised, communicated and documented to her. We have already tried to communicate with the homeowner but her perception is still clouded.

It is my hopes that Precision Air & Heating, Inc. does not have to spend a third time addressing a complaint of this nature.

Sincerely,

Owner

I called Precision Air & Heating, Inc. after my air conditioner stopped working. They came on very short notice - I waited a total of less than an hour before a representative was at my house. He was very professional, courteous and I don't have any complaints whatsoever. He was also very personable, and we spent some time discussing what I do for a living, among other things.

I purchased an AC unit through an online ecommerce site, and chose Precision Air and Heating to do the install. Precision Air and Heating's Installation Manager, Ricky H., had a friendly personality, and was very knowledgable. He planned out the install, evaluated my home, the unit I ordered, and was great at helping me understand the process. He described what changes needed to be made to the current AC configuration, and documented the entire process. The installation performed by Precision Air and Heating installers Eric and Guy, "the Johnson brothers", was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had in my entire life. Their professionalism, hard work, attention to detail, and positive personalities are second to none. They arrived on time, were friendly, had a good sense of humor, took care around the house, and worked tirelessly.

It couldn't have been an easy install either. My older home has a very small attic, and it was definitely "tight quarters" for the work to be done. Since I was putting in a larger, higher SEER unit (18 SEER), the air handler also had to be relocated in the smaller attic, and the electrical box outside that was buried in the stucco, had to be changed out. However, not only did the job get done, it was done with great workmanship and attention to detail, and the house was spotless after the install.

I've had bad experiences with other companies in the past slapping in units, and leaving a giant mess behind. These same previous installers left the home uncomfortable, and because of their bad install, drastically shortened the life of the unit. This install was completely different. After Eric and Guy's install, and attention to detail, I have the utmost confidence that the unit will last, and the investment was well spent. I now have peace of mind, and a more comfortable house.

I would like to give a huge thanks to Eric and Guy, "the Johnson brothers" for your good humor, positive attitude, great personality, and all of your quality hard work. Also, thanks to Ricky H., Installation Manager, for your knowledge, attention to detail, and helping me understand the process. Thank you Precision Air and Heating.
