If I understand Ms***’s complaint, she was attempting to set up payments however, claims to have been treated unprofessionally by our Professional Collection Specialist, she lacks trust and fears speaking to anyone in our agencyOur files indicate that the consumer offered a payment arrangement of $bi-weekly on an account with a $balance. Consumers often call us with a unilateral decision regarding repayment of debts and we are often faced with the unenviable task of explaining to them that, while anything sent to our office will be applied, that payment arrangements were not part of the original agreement and that we are under no obligation to accept repayment terms of anything less than full repayment of the defaulted debt
Our office strives to be a leader in compliance and consumer relations and I apologize if Ms*** felt our Professional Collection Specialist was being unprofessional; unfortunately, it often falls upon IQ Data International’s staff to deliver difficult truths to and deny requests of consumers
In review of her account, we found that our Collection Specialist was within the confines of the FDCPA, and his conduct was well within the bounds of appropriate collector behaviorI appreciate Ms***s fears in dealing with a collection agency, it can be cumbersome and frustrating however, it is our culture and policy to strive for excellence and conduct business with honesty and integrity. Ms*** can be assured that once her account is paid in full, that information will be updated to report to the Consumer Reporting Agencies as “Paid in Full.” Upon receipt of this complaint Ms***s account was marked as “Disputed” and “Do Not Contact” as I believed this to be her wish If she would like to discuss her account in further detail or make payment arrangements, she may contact our office directly. Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: the company has done nothing to address the issueThey merely have rejected the contention that they promised (agreed in writing) to delete the account after I made paymentThey are admitting fault yet failing to address their own business practicesUnder the guise of "time constraints" and my reporting of "multiple complaints with different agencies" they are excusing themselves for their shady business practicesI do not doubt that there are many other victims of this businesses shady practices out there

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I filed multiple disputes in which they responded each time to those dispute without needing any authorizationAlso information that they provided in regards to the other complaint I filed showed that their records were highly inaccurateIn accordance to FDCPA and FCRA laws, if I am requesting a response in regards to being able to verify whether a debt is mine or not, no disclosure is neededThey are trying to stall resolving this issue because their records are not in order (which is a violation of FDCPA and FCRA laws)They have called me several times, did not disclose who they were or wouldn't upon requestI have contacted the Attorney General to file a claimI have consulted my attorneys who have filed civil suit against RentCollect Global dba IQ Data InternationalI have tried several times for almost a year to get this resolved and they always have an excuse as to why it can't be resolved at that timeThis is getting frustrating and I will do whatever is necessary in ensuring my credit, character, and rights are not being violated by this collection agency that has failed repeatedly to correct mistakes and lies them have panderedMy attorneys spotted several errors in the fact that I was not contacted prior to them placing the two accounts on my credit, they did not honour numerous requests to validate which is allowed by law by me, they still have refused requests, they have not corrected my credit reports and removed the two accounts in questionItems were disputed over 50days ago and they did not provide a response in the day time frame allowable by lawThey are in major violationIf they respond with not sending items to verify to me and fail to respond to this complaint and my request via this complaint, I will include all complaints filed in my evidence that they have made several violations in regards to my consumer rights and credit

Dear Ms***,Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to Mr***’s complaintUpon receipt of this complaint, our office has reviewed the accountPlease accept this as I.QData International’s response to the complaintIf I understand Mr***’s complaint correctly, he is disputing the charges submitted for collections by the Reserves at Alafaya, stating that he did not live in the unit when the charges were accumulated. The charges in dispute are for one month of rent past the contract date of lease, and other fees outlined in the move out statement for utilities, cleaning and repairsOur office reached out to our Client to review the accuracy of the charges submitted for collection. In response, our Client acknowledged Mr***’s Intent to Vacate within the required days and has reversed the charges for additional rent, service fees and utilities for the month he did not reside at the Reserves at Alafaya. However, our Client has validated the remaining charges, totaling $180.00, for cleaning fees incurred by our Client upon the consumer vacating the unit. I understand Mr***’s frustrations regarding the charges on his account and appreciate his patience in resolving the issues brought forth. Attached you will find a copy of the lease and the revised Move-Out Statement for your review. Mr***’s account has been marked as disputed in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and while it is disputed our office does believe the revised balance of the account to be validated and will remain in our office until resolved.
