Pursuant to your membership agreement with 24 Hour Fitness, your membership is eligible for an annual renewal increase after the first 12- month renewal term immediately following the initial prepaid term. Please note that this increase was not a decision which we took lightly. However, it was an important and necessary step to ensure we provide all of our members with a clean, friendly, well-maintained club experience. 
We are unable to comply with your request to reduce your annual renewal. However, we do believe that even with the increase, you are still getting a great value at a highly competitive rate.

I will contact 24 h fitness tomorrow again because this is not what I want. I want them to provide me the same price which I paid last year. Thank you . YOUR RECORDS SHOULD ALSO LET YOU KNOW THAT ON 11- 4, I WAS MISTREATED, ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES FOR NO REASON, (WELL, YES, I ASKED TO HAVE A TV CHANNEL CHANGED AND RECEIVED A REFUSAL AND A "DO IT YOURSELF" RESPONSE.) HAVE THE POLICE CALLED THE POLICE AND WAS THREATENED, BY AN OP. MANAGER WHO REEKED OF ALCOHOL AND THEN, AFTER MANY COMPLAINTS, DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM YOUR REG. MANAGER SAYING SORRY BUT, WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I CLEARLY HAD NO CHOICE. HE WAS THE ONE WHO CANCELLED, BY MY REQUEST, AND HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, AND LET ME KNOW, THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED ANYWAY. IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS OF LIE, AFTER LIE. I JUST RECEIVED THE REFUND CHECK. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE SUCH A POORLY RUN BUSINESS, WITH SUCH UNQUALIFIED, RUDE EMPLOYEES.

RE: CONSUMER’S CLAIM FOR CANCELED MEMBERSHIP REFUND
 
YOUR PREVIOUS STATEMENT:

In regards to your refund, please note that the original payment made at the point of sale on 4/28/2015 ($137.77 Master and $90.61 FAO) was refunded in full back to your credit card used for purchase on 5/08/15 based on your request for a 3/5 Day Cancel of your membership agreement. However, this payment was later returned to us unpaid due to non-sufficient funds by your banking institution. As such, 24 Hour Fitness recollected the funds on each 5/26/2015 to bring the account back to a zero balance.
As previously requested, your account remains cancelled and there will be no further debits to your account.
We hope this brings some clarification to your concern as well as the action taken to address your feedback.

MY RESPONSE:
 
…IS THAT ON APRIL 28TH, 2015: THE MERCHANT TWO 4 ONE LLC #631 CARLSBAD, CA AN ENTERTAINMENT MEMBERSHIP CLUB IN THE SPORTS AND RECREATION INDUSTRY, AKA 24HOUR FITNESS. REQUESTED A PAYMENT FROM MY [redacted] CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT; IN THE AMOUNT OF [228.38] THAT’S TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND THIRTY-EIGHT CENTS. AND SOMETIME THEREAFTER?... I FILED A DISPUTE CLAIM FOR REFUND WITH [redacted] ISSUED A CONDITIONAL CREDIT IN THE AMOUNT TOWHICH I WAS DISPUTING; ACCORDING TO THEIR POLICY, AND SUBJECTED TO THE PENDING OUTCOME OF THEIR INVESTIGATION.
 
[FOLLOWING THAT, I WAS TOLD THAT MY REFUND CLAIM WAS DENIED]. [redacted] INTURN REVERSED THEIR CONDITIONAL CREDIT, AND MY ACCOUNT WAS RECHARGED FOR THE AMOUNT. 
 
24HOUR FITNESS STATED IN THEIR RESPONSE CLAIM: THAT?..ON THE DATE OF MAY 8TH, 2015.  THEY ISSUED A FULL REFUND, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CREDITED BACK ON MY ACCOUNT.  HOWEVER, THAT WAS NOT THE CASE… OR ELSE, I WOULD NOT HAVE BROUGHT THIS MATTER TO Revdex.com.  THEY ALSO MENTIONED THAT THEIR FIRST ATTEMPT FOR PAYMENT, WAS RETURNED TO THEM AS BEING UNPAID.  DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, FROM MY BANKING INSTITUTION.  [NOTE] THIS WAS A CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT THAT HAD AMPLE CREDIT LIMIT, TO COVER THE MERCHANT TRANSACTION CHARGE IN QUESTION.
 
FURTHERMORE, IF 24HOUR FITNESS HAD BEEN DECLINED PAYMENT… AS THEY WOULD WANT US TO BELIEVE, FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS?.  THEIR WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY CHARGES POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT ON MAY 28TH, 2015; IN THE AMOUNT OF 228.38.
 
THEY STATED IN THEIR Revdex.com CASE RESPONSE:  THAT ON MAY 26TH, 2015.  THAT, THEY RECOLLECTED PAYMENT FROM MY [redacted] CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT; TO BRING MY CANCELED 24HOUR FITNESS MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT, TO A ZERO BALANCE.  QUESTION: WHY WOULD THEY DO SUCH A THING?  KNOWING THAT I HAD ALREADY CANCELED MY MEMBERSHIP WITH 24HOUR FITNESS.  UNTIMATELY, I WAS BILLED TWICE.  AND MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED A TOTAL PAYMENT OF [456.64].
