24 Hour Fitness has done nothing except tell me that it's in my contract that they can raise the price.  The problem is when I signed up I was assured that my rate will not go up, it was a sales tactic used to get me to sign up and pay in advance for services I may or may not receive.  The company benefited from it and is now just trying to make more money.  They wouldn't even provide me with a towel to make up for it.  They'd rather act like the sales rep didn't promise me a flat steady rate as long as my membership remains active when they're surely receiving tons of complaints with good customers like me saying the exact same thing.  Honestly, had the price gone up a smaller percentage of what I was paying, I would've just paid it and moved on.  If my initial call in had been handled properly I probably would've just paid and moved on.  The problem is they were rude and it went up 60% and they couldn't tell me one thing that would change for the positive with my membership.  I never received a call back from the last conversation I had with them.  Terrible company, and I will never resolve this complaint as long as I live as long as they continue to act like what they did wasn't unethical then do something to make up for it.

ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I spoke with [redacted] from 24 Hour Fitness last week (on Feb. 2 or Feb. 3) and explained to her that, when we signed the contract, we were told that our annual renewal fees would not increase.  Further, I pointed her to the resolutions posted on the Revdex.com website where the company had been reducing the increased fees for other members who were also told, when they signed the contract, that their annual fees would never increase.  She was going to research how similar complaints have been resolved and get back to me.  I still have not heard from her nor have I received any offer of resolution to my complaint.Regards,[redacted]

Although I was contacted by their representative but when I go to the gym their system hasn't updated with my information and make me waited every time I was there.  Also I spent so much time on phone and in person with them and they didn't compensate any of the time for me.  I have been wasted at lease 4 months of my time dealing with them trying get this resolved.  No apology was given by them. Regards,[redacted]
