I want to know where it says that you "legally" have to send a notice on the 2nd of the month after not receiving the payment, it clearly states that we will be assessed a late fee if we are more than days past the 1st. You can assess that late fee if we fail to pay after the 16th (due on the 1st, late after the 15th day after it is due). I fully expect that and accept that, but the constant barrage of mail and letters saying you haven't received our payment is harassing and unnecessary

Rushmore is the most corrupt mortgage lender we have encounteredOur loan was bought by Rushmore in 2013, and our lives have been miserable sinceRushmore attempted to double our payments on a fixed interest loanWe provided all the documents for them to correct their recordsWhen they would not make the adjustments, we hired the services of an attorney with the same set of recordsThey acknowledged their error, corrected the payment schedule obviously to avoid possible litigationThey then came back and said we owed a difference in payments accrued as a result of their mistakeWe have made numerous attempts at informing them that these issues had been resolved, to no availThey call us numerous times a day, at all and any hour irrespective of night or dayThey continue to threaten us with not recording our regular monthly mortgage payments even though they receive the checks and cash themThey are a source of perpetual headache

Unfortunately this is the first batter view I have had to write on a company but after being put through the ringer by multiple employees of Rushmore I have to warn others of my experienceI was repeatedly quoted an amount that I would have to use as a down payment for a loan modification of 20% which I saved in a savings account to meet their requirements only to find out that they change the amount to 50% and expected me to come up with $15,more than originally discussed in five business days and continuously made me feel like they have done so much to go out of their way to help me when they have not helped me at allI have a meeting with the lawyer today and plan on pursuing legal actionI do understand that it is my fault that I became behind on my payments and I want to make that right now that I'm receiving Social Security disability however being told something by two different professionals from the same company I should have been able to trust thatThis company has successfully done everything they can to make sure we lose our family home

This is the second complaint I am filing about this companyI'm in absolute awe of their disregard or care for their customersThis issue started back in July of with my taxesFast forward to today and here I am about to get a lien placed on my property because this company has not paid my taxesI have no idea where they are sending the money to because they have disbursed money from my account THREE times to pay taxes and only one has been received by my cityI need this issue resolved ASAP before a lien is placed on my property because of these peopleToday I was told by Rushmore that someone will be contacting me within 48-hrs I'm hoping this complaint reaches them and makes them actually get something done for onceI can't begin to explain the stress that this whole ordeal has caused meI NEED THIS RESOLVED NOW!!Desired Outcome: I need my taxes figured outI need to know where they are sending my moneyAnd once everything is figured out I DO NOT want Rushmore to escrow my account for taxes anymoreI need any money in my escrow account sent to me and I will take care of my own taxes since clearly this company is beyond incompetent

The response from Rushmore is not right first I'm not the borrower on this loanThis loan for a house that my sister had and she was murder in in and Rushmore is trying to get me to pay for MY NAME IS NOT ON THIS LOANThey flood me with all kinds of mail that they what payments on this houseThis house was foreclosed on by Bank of America and yet Rushmore is trying to collect for the full amount on the house and again MY NAME IS N ON THE LOAN!!!!

The information provided is outdated and incorrectI personally explained why the documents were rejected each timeAlso the response is dated 7/20/the documents were rejected again on 7/3/and on 7/17/2017 with no mention of thatThe reason for the rejection is not the fault of the county it is because Rushmore is not correctly filing the paperwork and paying the correct feeThe documents sent show that it has been almost months and rejected attempts and still the process is not completeI have filed complaints with different agencies and Rushmore is still not following through what they agreed to doI would like to have the documents sent to me so I can complete this as I'm getting closer to a foreclosure each day Rushmore does not do their job
