Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I am rejecting the response from Seterus as there is no clear explanation for the increase. The company’s response was to print up escrow statements and send them with a form on how to read them. I know how to read them and have them in my records. I am also aware that California state law allows them to keep up to 1/6 of total disbursements in escrow. However, including the 1/6 the numbers still do not add up. (Interestingly, when I spoke to management he said the 1/6 rule was not applied in my case) I have had prior mortgages and this was never an issue…if payment increased it was for the amount necessary either due to increase in taxes, insurance or both. They also stated that I have to option to pay the shortage amount to avoid increase of escrow, which I will not do as the numbers do not add up to proposed increases. Sincerely,[redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I received the letter yesterday 7/18/16. They did provide me with a new escrow analysis and payment history and have finally fixed my account after 5 mths and obviously only because I sent in this compliant. They never addressed why their customer service sucks and why it took 5 mths and me putting in a compliant with the Revdex.com to get anything fixed on my acct. This is just totally unacceptable the hours and time I spent having to deal with this company. They need to look into their processes and fix what is broken so other people don't have to experience what I had too. This caused a lot of stress in our lives. Attached is the poor letter I received from them.Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear Sir,
- In this pocket is a signed consent form
- I am also including a letter I just received from a rep. of Seterus.
NB In the letter, he talks about mailing and billing adress when the issue is property, ccollateral address.
ii He does not also acknowledge the discrepancy and whether or not they are willing to update it.
iii His personal contact number is not a working number.
PS I have also included a copy of the deed signed by the registar
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The information that was provided from the Customer Service Representative from Seterus was inaccurate. I have already contacted my state attorney about this matter and I am looking forward to contact my local news station about how a tactic by a company like this is able to cover up their mistake and say that it was my towns fault. Unacceptable!
Sincerely,[redacted]
the only thing seterus has done is send us a different type of payment ,and property tax print outs and a bill 500.00 for escrow payment.
Our regular mortgage payment increased. This was done without prior notice or warning. We have called numerous times to investigate the cause and Seterus' customer service failed at explaining the root cause. They continued responding with a " we will analyze and get back to you". We continued calling Seterus and one of their representatives stated that the extra charges on the billing are for an escrow account "to pay our real state taxes and home insurance". We verbally told Seterus, that for many years now, we have always payed our taxes through our co-op's management office/maintenance fees and have had home insurance through Allstate for many years therefore we do not need nor want them to automatically bill us especially since they never gave us a chance to provide proof. Needless to say, we have faxed them proof of our real state tax payments and Allstate home insurance policy. Despite our providing proof, multiple times, Seterus continues to bill us. We have been forced to pay for real state taxes and insurance on our own and to Seterus because of course, if we don't Seterus has the power to affect my good standing credit.
Refund the money they collected for services we did not ask for.

documents after I filed the complaint. As a result, my rate on my refinancing expired. There were many more issues prior to this complaint and the Revdex.com should continue to investigate the performance of Seterus. If you review the notes on my account you will see that they even forgot to pay my 2014 property taxes on time. The taxes were eventually paid with penalties in the wrong tax year, 2015. The customer service is poor. The managers are just as incompetent as their team. My final complaint ID [redacted] did not involve rock science. It was a simple fax request that took a month to get done. I am looking forward to completing my refinance and leave Seterus entirely. Sincerely, [redacted]
