I signed up for the FREE SPORTS AND NUTRITION and got billed 69.99 three times as well as 45.99 twice and 30.95 once and 34/95 for a certificate
I signed up for the FREE SPORTS AND NUTRITION course in March 2020. I completed the course within a few weeks and paid for the Diploma certification. I then signed up for the FREE VIRAL MARKETING course which I did not complete.
I have yet to receive the Diploma certificate via mail, or any module certificates and just logged in to my bank account and saw that three payments of $69.99 have been taken out of my account cited as "OPOS COURSE SHAW" for April, May and June. As well as two payments of $45.99 cited as "OPOS ONLINE SA COURSE +1516" dated today, July 6 200. And payments of $30.95 and $34.95 in April and May. Totaling $367.85 to date.
I am a full time student and did not sign up for a monthly subscription or additional fees, I would respectfully ask for a refund in full and an explanation of why I am being billed for so many charges please.
Desired Outcome
I would like a refund and to cancel my account please.

This company deducted money from my account without my knowledge.
About a month ago I signed up for a free trial with Shaw Academy. It was stated that I would not be charged for the service if I canceled within that time. I did cancel within the timeframe and thought all was taken care of. However, on Monday, June 29, 2020 my bank account was charged $69.99. I have tried to contact Shaw Academy, but the only phone number they have listed is an international number. I have emailed them several times. Last Friday someone named Marcas finally responded. He stated that I needed to sign up to have him call me through MeetingBird. I signed up immediately for an available time slot that was supposed to be this morning, July 6, 2020 at 8:00 AM. I have waited all day and no one has contacted me. I have sent them several emails today and have not received a reply. I even contacted their Facebook account through the messenger app. I have not received a reply on there, either.
Desired Outcome
I would like help getting a refund of this amount. I talked to my bank and they have suggested I cancel my debit card because the transaction says it is a recurring transaction. Once I do this, even if the company ever does contact me (which I have my doubts about), then they will not be able to refund my money. I need help in seeking this refund from them.

I have tried to get in contact with someone from this company for a week and a half now. I received one email last week asking me to sign up for a phone conference. I have since signed up for three different day/times and no one called me back. It was only after filing a claim with the Revdex.com and posting negative reviews about the company on different websites that I did finally receive a call from someone claiming to be Marcas yesterday afternoon. He called from the number X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. He told me that he will take care of everything. He said no more money will be taken from my account and I will receive a refund for the $69.99 that was already taken from my account. I asked him to provide this in writing and he said that he would email me a confirmation of what we had agreed upon. It has now been 24 hours and I have not received an email with confirmation from him. I tried to call the number back and, of course, it is not working. Then I receive a notice from Revdex.com that the company has responded and has no record of me. This is very concerning to me. How can this ***@shawacademy.com department (a department I have already emailed 4 times) assure me that my money will be refunded and then another department (whatever department "Marcas" works in) tells me that they can't even find record of me?

have a premium membership at Shaw that renewed last week and Thursday deducting the annual fee from my bank account ,haven't started any new courses and followed their instruction on their FAQ page to ask for a refund explaining that my girlfriend lost her job due to the covid- 19 lock down and that im currently under a lot of financial strain not being able to afford their services to which they replied they cannot refund me due to terms and conditions and that I should reschedule my classes and enjoy my classes and after that completely ignoring my emails don't recommend shaw to anyone unless you have a lot of money to waist
This company makes it impossible to cancel your free trial on their website. The number they give just rings out after an initial message. I realised my mistake after reading reviews. I haven't started any sessions and have cancelled my card to try and stop them taking any money. I hope this works. I realise I'm better off than most.. so far..
Unethical Business practices.
Signed up for their free trial but I it did not satisfy my needs so I only viewed their content on one occasion. Unfortunately I entered my credit information. More than a month later I see a strange charge on my credit card for 70usd. Realised it was them so I tried to cancel the subscription. Realised it hadn't been cancelled so I reached out to them via email. Only to be told that they cannot refund my money and they instead offered me a longer subscription for the same cost. I again refused and again they offered me an even longer subscription. I was not interested when it was free and I am still not interested but they refuse to refund my money. By searching the internet I have realised these are the cries of numerous persons. This organisations intent is to mislead people in order to unethically remove funds from their credit card and they need to be removed from the internet. They are nothing more than scammers who are trying to boost their sales.
Desired Outcome
Refund of my money and they should not be able to do business online until they follow ethical business practices.

Whether or not I cancel or not before the trial ends is inconsequential. It obviously slipped my mind that I entered my credit card information to an organisation that I did not realise at the time was a scam of an organisation. The fact of the matter is upon seeing the transaction the following day I immediately requested a cancellation. This is standard business practice. I do not care about some clause that you claimed I was privy too before accepting your trial for your bogus unaccredited courses. I as the consumer are entitled to my rights and cannot be misled by company who operates outside standard business practices. Their CEO even claims that the company offers refunds in these instances in response to the tremendous outcry of people all around the world. Shaw Academy employs fraudulent tactics such as one click purchase and then denies people refunds. Why would anybody want to do business with an organisation such as this. This company needs to be shutdown. Everyone should view this article written in the Guardian because it seems that this company capitalised on the quarantine periods around the world to defraud thousands of people worldwide.

Hi ***,
This is to inform you that cancellation before the end of trial is consequential. The trial period is there for customers to decide whether to continue with the service or not, when a customer does not cancel after the trial period it is assumed that they are happy with the service who would like to continue. Therefore since this cancellation was not done we are unable to process the refund. It would be against business etiquettes to not refund money for the customer who has cancelled the their account within the trial period, however in your case as reviewed by us we are not breaching any business contracts.

According to the Consumer and Protection Commission these are my rights:
"The right to change your mind
The "cooling off" or cancellation period is 14 days from the date the contract started. You do not have to give any reason for cancelling, but bear in mind you may have to pay for the cost of returning any items to the business. If you cancel the service, the business by law has to refund you within 14 days. The refund also includes any delivery costs that you may have had to pay.
Some services are not covered by this cooling-off period, for example, hotel bookings, car rental and travel tickets are specifically excluded. Services that have already begun, with the consumer's agreement, before the end of the 14 working day period are also excluded."
In other words if I totally forgot to cancel the subscription to your fraudulent course I have the right to refuse your service. This was done the following day after realising I had been deceived. So Shaw Academy better come better than that. This company is obviously desperate for business and has to employ these shady tactics. 69.99usd is a significant amount of money and I am glad that this company is being exposed.

They charged my card without permission, and getting a refund takes days. My card should not have been charged in the first place.
I was in enrolled in Shaw Academy when I received a call asking if I wanted to purchase some thing that would give me other tools free. I kindly declined and said if I could do this myself, she said yes. So I told her I would look into it and see if I wanted it for myself. I checked my account and see that she has charged it anyway with out my permission. I know for a fact this isn't the free trial ending because I set multiple reminders to cancel my free trial. I started on June 7 and I was charged June 30. Meaning I have five more days in my trial I have emailed them and they told me it was because my trial ended when I know for a fact it didn't. I just want my money back and it's been extremely difficult to get it. This is unfair and seeing that multiple people have had this problem something needs to be done.

After attempting to cancel my subscription, I was locked out of my account and the monthly fee was charged to my debit card.
I encountered technical problems with their course material. After multiple attempts, I attempted to cancel my subscription. I was unable to get the website to accept my cancellation. I emailed the only email address I could find for them, and I never got any response except being locked out of my account. I assume this meant my account had been canceled and deleted as requested. However on July 1st, my debit card was charged the monthly subscription fee. I again emailed requesting a subscription cancellation and a refund. I then began searching them on the Internet. I found a phone number for them, and when I called, it's only an automated system. The automated system did have a cancellation option, which when I went through it, continues to ask you to verify that you want to cancel your membership with questions like, "Do you really want to give up on yourself and your goals?" Approximately 5 times before finally canceling your subscription. I also suddenly have access to my account again, and I received an email this morning stating that since I didn't cancel my subscription, I'm not able to get a refund, as stated in their policies and that they're giving me an additional 6 months for free. It's clear the representative did not read my email, or they would understand six months free does not help me because I cannot load the courses and I attempted multiple times to cancel the subscription. I have stated to them several times now that I have no desire continue any course work with them and want my account deleted.
Desired Outcome
I want a full refund of $34.99 that was taken from account, and I want my account closed and deleted.

I cannot get your website to work properly. When the classes wouldn't load for me, I attempted to cancel. Again, I encountered website errors, and I emailed through the contact form because I couldn't find any other contact information for you. I received no response, which I'm assuming is because I was unable to use the website. After sending the second form email, I was able to remove the class from my schedule. At that point, I was locked out of my account, unable to log in or request a new password. After the payment had been taken, I suddenly able to request a new password. I will note that during all the time, I had no issue with any other websites loading or working properly on my devices. I will not continue to work with this company privately due to their form responses and refusal to refund my money.

This company scammed money from me by luring me in with a "free trial" and then blocking me from being able to cancel the subscription. I never attended a single class, as they wouldn't load, but I was constantly barraged with ads for more of their products. They list no contact information on their website other than a form email through the website, to which they don't reply. Once they had taken my money, I was suddenly able to access the account again. They have repeatedly refused to refund the money via generic replies, with no personalized communication. Furthermore, to cancel the membership, which I was only able to accomplish after they took my money, is a multi-step process in which they attempt to shame the subscribers into not canceling their subscription. I've been offered useless months of membership instead of the requested refund. An "E certificate" does me no good, as I literally cannot complete the classes to obtain it. If I don't receive a refund, I will be contacting an attorney to inquire about my options. At this point, it is the principle. This scam needs to be shut down.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you faced. However we would also like to bring it to you attention that you have accepted the terms and conditions which clearly indicated about the one-click non refundable purchase. Just in case a customer has failed to see that, we have also added a disclaimer on the banner itself. We are sorry to inform you that the refund is not possible. The fact that you are unable to attend the classes is not something that we can take into consideration for the refund. Refund are given in situation where we as an organisation have failed to cancel the account even after the customer has requested to cancel before the trial period. As far as we are concern we have upheld our part of the contract with you. Unfortunately we are unable to provide you a refund.

I tried several times to cancel before the required date. I sent requests through the contact form on your website. I received no response whatsoever, but I was then unable to even access my account to continue trying. This is absolutely a failure on your part, not mine! And adding a disclaimer (after the fact, I might add), providing unusable services, and then preventing someone from canceling a subscription isn't "upholding your end of the contract". Thank you for the refund. I appreciate you taking the time to hear and correct my concern.
I signed up for a free trial but they had me charged for an online purchase. They refuse to issue refund, nor they reply emails.
With the hope of learning web-development online which is a complete new field for me, I signed up for Shaw Academy's free one month trial that seemed pretty generous to me at first. I took day 1 lesson and on day 2 lesson, a pop up auto chat, appeared on the comment box. It said with online toolkit, you can access pdf files and the video for later study as well, did not say anything about purchase. I clicked the button, but did not know it was a one time purchase button. Without asking for any confirmation or anything, the toolkit was already purchased, which was completely unintentional. I did not want the tool kit. I was tricked into buying this online toolkit thing which I did not need, and nor I have used the tool kit at all. When I checked my bank account, I saw this Shaw Academy had already charged me a bill of $39.95 on my account. Upon seeing this, I contacted Shaw academy thought email, because I did not find any phone numbers for customer service. They replied to me in the email saying, they can not refund the money to me, because it will be "inconvenient" for the business and in return, they were forcefully offering me free certificate, free toolkit, and so on, which I do not want, I just want my money back. I was actually just exploring to see if the field is for me, but came up with this horrible experience. I replied their email saying I do not need any free stuff, I just need the refund for the toolkit that I was tricked to buy, which I did not buy intentionally, and do not plan on using it. After this I checked online reviews of people and found they have been being charged for things they did not buy intentionally and for the membership. Seeing this, I went to my account on Shaw academy and tried to cancel my membership, but it was not easy. They had this number that I had to call to cancel the membership. When I called the number, it asked me to enter my student id that I can find on my profile, I looked it up and entered. Upon trying for multiple times, a lady named Nicole K talked on the line. When she knew I wanted to cancel the membership, she said, "I am going to offer you free toolkit and then the billing department will refund your $39.99 for the charge of the toolkit." She trapped me into the conversation and made me just pause the membership rather than cancel it. Little did I know it was just a trap. In the reply email, I got the email saying they can not provide me refund, but they are giving me bunch of free stuff that I do not need. I have two toolkits on my account now, one that I purchased (not used), and one they provided for free. My membership has been paused, and I can not cancel it now. I tried reaching the same number to cancel the membership but it tells me enter the student account number , without entering it, it doesn't ring. But, I can not access my student account number now because they have paused my membership and I can not see my student account number. I thought may be if I reactivate the account I will be able to see the student account number, but if I click the re-activate button it says your account will be charged right now with the reactivation. I tried reaching them with multiple emails to cancel my membership and refund me $39.95, but I only get auto-generated reply email saying somebody will reply withing 48 hours. I have not gotten any replies through email, nor can I contact them. I can not cancel my membership either since it has been paused and I can not access student id that I need to call the number to cancel.
This business is a big scam, and has big trap. They do not reply email, not they have customer service line. They are making people like us suffer . Please help me getting my refund and cancelling my membership which has been paused for this moment, but may be they will charge me by resuming it later.. Such business needs to be removed. They are a big scam.
Desired Outcome
I need my refund and I want to make sure they have cancelled my membership, since I can not cancel it, neither can I reach them. They are not replying any emails that I have sent for cancellation. This business needs to be prohibited from such practice so that others do not have to go through this inconvenience.

I do not accept the response because this does not solve my problem. I had only signed up for a free trial that they had offered just to see if the course is for me or not. I was tricked into buying the toolkit since they have a one time purchase , not pop up for confirmation or anything. This was completely unintentional from my side. Now they refuse to give me a refund for the stuff that I have not used, neither plan on using it. They are offering me free certificate, and bunch of other free stuff, which are of no use to me since I do not plan on using them. I simply want my money back not an exchange. Shaw Academy is a SCAM! Not because they do not provide a service, but because their website is designed with click bait "one-click" buttons that charge your account the instant it's pressed. Their webpage is difficult to navigate so if you're a person like myself that appreciates a clear, concise program... THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! They refuse to issue refunds for any purpose that is stated at the time of registering for a membership. I opened an account on 6/22/20 and was charged $69.99 after clicking on a button that claimed to allow me to see my courses. I called the instant it notified that my card had been charged (6/25/20) but they refused a refund on the basis that they do not issue refunds.
Shaw Academy services have violated a UK legislation by practising 'Misleading Actions'. They have refused to provide a full refund.
I signed up for a free trial to see what it was like and they stole £39.95 - DURING the free trial AND when I was just about to cancel anyway. I am so offended. They have yet to still give my money back - even after I went through various automated calls and finally reached a human who still wanted to sell me 2 free extra months of "studying" and drew out the whole cancellation process. This person referred me to contact another department who dealt with refunds. None of these actions can be conducted on Shaw Academy's actual website. I have sent multiple emails to them already, I have opened up a PayPal dispute and they have yet to contact me about providing me with a full refund.
I signed up on the 28th of June. I attended a lesson on the 29th of June 2020. I then realised the course was not for me so on the 29th of June I was deciding to cancel. I was looking around the website for any further USEFUL information - which the website seems to be lacking - on the graphic design course for the last time. I clicked on a link - not knowing it was a 'one-click' buy link. (*There is evidence shown in the attachment which displays annotations of Shaw Academy's deceptive and poor UI). The one-click buy was not made clear (*evidenced). The majority of the buttons were the deceptive 'one-click-buy' - consisting of 3/5 of the total button links (*) indicating that it was a mine-field for fraudulent, and money-grabbing behaviour. As a result the Shaw Academy has charged me £39.95 on a purchase I never intended to make. This breached REGULATION 5 of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations Act - which is UK legislation. This legislation can be found in the attachment.
Specifically Shaw Academy has conducted a 'Misleading Action' (from Regulation 5 of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation) in its UI. The links were and are not clear they are 'one-click-purchase' buttons. They are displayed with no information on the actual product nor on any terms and conditions (*). If the company comes up with any terms and conditions - they are invalid as they were not made readily available.
Furthermore, the digital content must be as "described (the main characteristics, functionality, and compatibility of digital content must be given to consumers before they buy)". This, reinforced by my evidence of the Shaw Academy breaching Regulation 5 shows sections of 'The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations' which the Shaw Academy is unlawfully breaching. Therefore I am entitled to a full refund from this unsatisfactory and unlawful service.
I have cancelled my account only after one day and one lesson so therefore I will not be using whatever 'toolkit' I got - which in itself was not made clear to me. Furthermore my account is deleted meaning I have no access to this 'tool-kit' anyway therefore Shaw Academy should lawfully refund me in full my £39.95.
Desired Outcome
This dispute can only be resolved by the Shaw Academy issuing a full refund of £39.95 back into my account to return my money.
Furthermore the Shaw Academy's terms and conditions of the product are as stated:"Single purchases: If a student purchases an E-cert(ificate) or toolkit from the members area, by checkout page or single click purchase, refunds cannot be provided without just cause, as defined by incorrect content or pricing. The case is the same for the onetime payment to proceed directly to module 2".
These terms and conditions do not invalidate UK Consumer Protection legislation and consumer rights. I am LEGALLY entitled to reject the goods within 30 days of buying/receiving the delivery of the goods - especially if I do not possess them.
This is known as the "short-term" right to reject. Where the short term right to reject is exercised, I am legally able to ask for a full refund. The refund MUST be given without delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the date you agree the consumer is entitled to a refund. If you do not adhere to my request I will be contacting my bank and taking legal action.
I have contacted the company far too many times in effort to resolve this issue. This shall be the last effort before taking legal action.
Thereafter, any connection or information about me, my card details, contact etc. should be completely removed from the website to ensure my data protection.

I have started a free trial and I've attempted to cancel my trial without success. Now I've been charged and they will not refund or answer my emails
I have signed up for this website which provides online a services, however I didn't find any relevant classes and wanted to cancel. During this time I attempted to cancel my subscription online without success. After a few email I received a response from this company saying that my free trial had been expired and I had been charged the 69.99 subscription fee. However I have not used their services and had not received any response prior to being charged the membership fee.
Desired Outcome
I would like to receive a refund for services that were never provided. They are offering a year subscription for free however I don't find any of their online classes relevant or appealing to me.

Hi ***,
We're sorry to know you were less than satisfied with Shaw Academy and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. As we are unable to find any records of you contacting us to cancel your account, we would kindly request you to share any kind of supporting documents (Email or Call Logs) stating you tried to cancel your account, which would help us in the case investigation and with the refund process. Please email us at ***@shawacademy.com.
Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my credit card and refused to refund the money although I did never purchased their services.
The problem date began June 25, 2020 when they charged my credit card $69.99 without my authorization. The only reason I went to the website was because I was offered a free four-week trial of the course for photography that started on June 24, 2020. The trial began on the same date and my classes started supposedly on the 25th but I was charged. We called the number indicated in the website to cancel the membership and I spoke to Ayakha M , she then told us to email ***@shawacademy.com :For all refunds please contact our billing team. Maria (Shaw Academy) contacted us and continued to say that they were not going to give us a refund back. My ticket number is (#***). They charged my credit card $69.99. They have not answered my last email.
Desired Outcome
I don't want anything to do with Shaw Academy. They keep offering free courses, but the only thing I am seeking is to get my refund back.

Shaw Academy charged me $69.99, unauthorized, then they denied my refund and since then has gone dark. I stand with the thousands of others ripped off
Shaw Academy targeted ads for me on Instagram. I signed up to use Shaw Academy's Free Trail in which I didn't have time to use the service since the pandemic hit. They sent me texts daily - none of which actually told me I'd be charged a dime. They charged my account June 29th 2020 without notice. I recognized this immediately, as I check my account frequently. I kindly asked for a refund as I have no intentions of using their services and at this point, I was sorry I signed up in the first place. This hassle alone was NOT worth the struggle. They replied mentioning that they could not refund my money and instead give me 12 months of service. This felt inappropriate so I did some research and found that thousands of others are experience extreme fraud from this company. We deserve our money back and Shaw Academy needs to be shut down immediately. I responded to Richard from ***@shawacademy.com and since then I haven't heard anything in return. I am upset that my money was stolen by corporate greed, but I'm even more furious to hear that I am among thousands of others and during a global pandemic none the less! Thank you for keeping the world a safer place!
Desired Outcome
All I am asking for is my $69.99 refunded to my account (I can send over bank statements if you need), and I would like to hear that the other thousands of people who've been robbed by Shaw A get their money back as well. Shaw Academy cannot continue to take advantage of innocent people!

As per our Terms and Condition mentioned to you during the registration this is a non refundable charge, however as a good *** gesture I have initiated a refund which *** be credited back to the source in next 3-5 business days.
Cancelled my trial, but they took money for something called a toolkit then said I'd bought it. Yet I'd cancelled my trial?
On the 29th June 2020 I signed up for a "free" 4 week trial for Graphic Design. On the 30th June 2020 I decided to cancel as I didn't like the way I was being hounded via email and phone. I went through the steps online but they asked me to quote my cr in a phone call and speak to someone to totally cancel my membership.
Whilst I was on the call a transaction made by Shaw Academy came out of my PayPal account for £39.95, when I asked what this was the advisor Jamie-Lee said it was for a ToolKit I had purchased for my course. A course I hadn't attended, had no intention of attending. I told her I did not purchase this and that I wanted a refund. Despite the face I'd received loads of emails and phone calls, not one email came through from Shaw Academy telling me what the £39.95 was for - only my PayPal receipt came through. I told Jamie-Lee this and she told me to email ***@shawacademy.com, when I did I got an automated email saying I purchased a toolkit and they have also given me some free credit to carry on my course.
I replied telling them in no uncertain words I did not purchase a ToolKit and therefore I want a refund. I was then contacted by someone called Ryan saying they would not refund as per the terms & conditions.
I then sent several more emails with no response.
Desired Outcome
I want a refund of the £39.95 they took from my account. I would like all of my personal information to be completely removed from all of their systems.
I never want to receive another form of communication from them ever again once I have received my refund.

Hi ***,
As per your request we have raised a request with the concern team to delete your profile. In the meantime we have removed your payment details to ensure no further payments are processed.
They didn't tell me I was purchasing something, and now they won't give me my money back.
Shaw academy's whole online empire is a scam to get people's money. I signed up for a free 30 day trial on 5/28/20. On 6/24/20, I finished my last class and clicked a button that said "unlock your final assignment and eCertificate". Then without a confirmation page or anything alerting me that this was going to cost me MONEY, I was charged $39.95. I found out because PayPal sent me a receipt (the email I got from Shaw academy just said "congrats on unlocking your final assignment!", still nothing about charging me, no invoice or anything) How can they charge people money without telling them they're charging money!?!
I reached out to them on 6/25 and said this was an accident and I wanted a refund. They said no.
Anybody who's smart enough to DO THEIR RESEARCH before signing up for Shaw academy (unlike me) and sees this DO NOT SIGN UP IT IS NOT WORTH IT AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY ANY WAY THEY CAN.
Desired Outcome
I literally just want a refund. The price they charge for an eCertificate (a piece of paper) is ridiculous and I never would have paid that much, had I known I would be charged. I only took a few intro classes, I have no use for the piece of paper and won't do anything with it anyway. I didn't even save it to my files.

I was misled by this company and found that during the "free month" and now they refuse to refund my account
I was misled by this company and found that during the "free month" they had charged my account $69.99, when I contacted them for a refund they informed me that a refund would not be offered but they would give me 6months access to the courses. Any worthwhile company would ensure their customers were satisfied and refund the money.
There is even a Guardian article about their shady practices. I want them to refund the money they took for services I didn't receive.
Desired Outcome
I want them to refund the money, what they are charging is not worth the price that they charged me. They are extremely misleading offering a free 30days and automatically charging people $70.

They keep saying the same nonesense over and over. I don't care about what bs they are trying to feed people. This scam is widespread. I signed up for a free trial, I viewed your content once. I was not interested at the time and I still am not. I don't care about their scam clauses. I have made it perfectly clear I do not want your product. Your CEO claims they offer refunds because of the outcry of numerous people. This company if you want to call it that, used the COVID-19 quarantine period to outsmart numerous persons worldwide. I want my refund and I shall not stop until my hard earned money is refunded. This company should be removed form the internet. The extent of this scam is widespread with numerous shady tactics.
Hi ***,
This is to inform you that cancellation before the end of trial is consequential.
Regards,
Shaw Academy
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Hi ***,

Simply want my money back. And nothing to do with this company.

Hi ***, We are extremely sorry for the unpleasant experience with us, We would like to inform you that E Certificate is a paid benefit which is non-refundable as per our policies, Our intention was not to upset you in any way.

Hi ***,
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you faced.

Shaw Academy

I tried several times to cancel before the required date. I sent requests through the contact form on your website. I received no response whatsoever, but I was then unable to even access my account to continue trying. This is absolutely a failure on your part, not mine! And adding a disclaimer (after the fact, I might add), providing unusable services, and then preventing someone from canceling a subscription isn't "upholding your end of the contract". It's called fraud.
We have initiated a refund for USD 34.99 which will be credited back to then source in next 3-5 business days.

They did not fulfill my request of cancelling the subscription and I was charged $70
They make it impossible to cancel online, so you have to call to speak with a sales agent. He convinced me to continue with the trial. He sent a follow up email Letting me know I could inform him when I want to cancel. I emailed him a couple weeks later requesting to cancel my subscription. He did not do so, and I was charged the membership fee.

I feel completely scammed by this institute. How can they not provide refund, since I have not used the product, neither plan on using it. I simply want my money back, not an exchange to some other products that are of no use to me.

I would like to receive a refund for services that were never provided. They are offering a year subscription for free however I don't find any of their online classes relevant or appealing to me.

All I am asking for is my $69.99 refunded to my account (I can send over bank statements if you need), and I would like to hear that the other thousands of people who've been robbed by Shaw A get their money back as well. Shaw Academy cannot continue to take advantage of innocent people!

Cancelled my trial, but they took money for something called a toolkit then said I'd bought it. Yet I'd cancelled my trial?
r in a phone call and speak to someone to totally cancel my membership.
On the 29th June 2020 I signed up for a "free" 4 week trial for Graphic Design. On the 30th June 2020 I decided to cancel as I didn't like the way I was being hounded via email and phone. I went through the steps online but they asked me to quote my c
I want a refund of the £39.95 they took from my account. I would like all of my personal information to be completely removed from all of their systems. I never want to receive another form of communication from them ever again once I have received my refund.

I want them to refund the money, what they are charging is not worth the price that they charged me. They are extremely misleading offering a free 30days and automatically charging people $70.
