The Shaw academy (online institute) charged me without authorisation, and they meant to design the functionality for user to pay without confirmation.
The online institution Shaw Academy is based on Dublin Ireland, but the billing address is at ***
Shaw Academy offers 1 month free trial for premium membership, but member must provide the payment info upon registration, I registered on 15th June so I have 1 month free trial, however I have been charged for the premium monthly fee 69.99 USD, and I unintentionally click on the button of purchasing the eCertificate (39.00 EUR) and Hard Copy of diploma (49.99 EUR), and their web system have no any confirm processing of purchasing, I even did not get any notification after being charged through my credit card, things getting more awful, they claim that one of clause under the term of use states "checkout page or single click purchase, refunds cannot be provided without just cause", this is an unfair term, even can be considered as cheating, I have wrote the email to their billing dept ***@shawacademy.com for requesting refund, but they reject to process.
The attached is the invoices for three payment charged.
Desired Outcome
I definitely ask them to refund all the amount paid to me.

I don't accept your fake apologies unless you actually had refunded me totally, the only thing you keep claiming is your ridiculous "TERMS AND CONDITION", obviously it is a trap, can you really stand firm with this kind of unfair terms and condition? As the screenshot attached, only a single click-on button leads to payment without double confirm, don't you feel guilty? I think I am about to appeal this truth via the social media, platform, forum as much as I can, letting those who interesting the online course would avoid you Shaw Academy

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you faced. However we would also like to bring it to you attention that you have accepted the terms and conditions which clearly indicated about the one-click non refundable purchase. Just in case a customer has failed to see that, we have also added a disclaimer on the banner itself. We are sorry to inform you that the refund is not possible. Refund are given in situation where we as an organisation have failed to cancel the account even after the customer has requested to cancel before the trial period. As far as we are concern we have upheld our part of the contract with you. Unfortunately we are unable to provide you a refund.

Hi ***,
We are sorry to hear about your experience and inconvenience caused to you.
Having checked our records, we see that you have purchased the E-certificate and a Hard copy from the course page by clicking the purchase button, so the payment was processed.
I confirm your refund will be reaching your account in 4-5 business days.
We have now stopped the auto renewal and please be assured that you will not be charged way forward until you reactivate it. The membership will be cancelled at the end of term.
I was misled by this company and found that during the "free month" and now they refuse to refund my account
I was misled by this company and found that during the "free month" they had charged my account $69.99, when I contacted them for a refund they informed me that a refund would not be offered but they would give me 6months access to the courses. Any worthwhile company would ensure their customers were satisfied and refund the money.
There is even a Guardian article about their shady practices. I want them to refund the money they took for services I didn't receive.
Desired Outcome
I want them to refund the money, what they are charging is not worth the price that they charged me. They are extremely misleading offering a free 30days and automatically charging people $70.

They didn't tell me I was purchasing something, and now they won't give me my money back.
Shaw academy's whole online empire is a scam to get people's money. I signed up for a free 30 day trial on 5/28/20. On 6/24/20, I finished my last class and clicked a button that said "unlock your final assignment and eCertificate". Then without a confirmation page or anything alerting me that this was going to cost me MONEY, I was charged $39.95. I found out because PayPal sent me a receipt (the email I got from Shaw academy just said "congrats on unlocking your final assignment!", still nothing about charging me, no invoice or anything) How can they charge people money without telling them they're charging money!?!
I reached out to them on 6/25 and said this was an accident and I wanted a refund. They said no.
Anybody who's smart enough to DO THEIR RESEARCH before signing up for Shaw academy (unlike me) and sees this DO NOT SIGN UP IT IS NOT WORTH IT AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY ANY WAY THEY CAN.
Desired Outcome
I literally just want a refund. The price they charge for an eCertificate (a piece of paper) is ridiculous and I never would have paid that much, had I known I would be charged. I only took a few intro classes, I have no use for the piece of paper and won't do anything with it anyway. I didn't even save it to my files.

Cancelled my trial, but they took money for something called a toolkit then said I'd bought it. Yet I'd cancelled my trial?
On the 29th June 2020 I signed up for a "free" 4 week trial for Graphic Design. On the 30th June 2020 I decided to cancel as I didn't like the way I was being hounded via email and phone. I went through the steps online but they asked me to quote my cr in a phone call and speak to someone to totally cancel my membership.
Whilst I was on the call a transaction made by Shaw Academy came out of my PayPal account for £39.95, when I asked what this was the advisor Jamie-Lee said it was for a ToolKit I had purchased for my course. A course I hadn't attended, had no intention of attending. I told her I did not purchase this and that I wanted a refund. Despite the face I'd received loads of emails and phone calls, not one email came through from Shaw Academy telling me what the £39.95 was for - only my PayPal receipt came through. I told Jamie-Lee this and she told me to email ***@shawacademy.com, when I did I got an automated email saying I purchased a toolkit and they have also given me some free credit to carry on my course.
I replied telling them in no uncertain words I did not purchase a ToolKit and therefore I want a refund. I was then contacted by someone called Ryan saying they would not refund as per the terms & conditions.
I then sent several more emails with no response.
Desired Outcome
I want a refund of the £39.95 they took from my account. I would like all of my personal information to be completely removed from all of their systems.
I never want to receive another form of communication from them ever again once I have received my refund.

Shaw Academy charged me $69.99, unauthorized, then they denied my refund and since then has gone dark. I stand with the thousands of others ripped off
Shaw Academy targeted ads for me on Instagram. I signed up to use Shaw Academy's Free Trail in which I didn't have time to use the service since the pandemic hit. They sent me texts daily - none of which actually told me I'd be charged a dime. They charged my account June 29th 2020 without notice. I recognized this immediately, as I check my account frequently. I kindly asked for a refund as I have no intentions of using their services and at this point, I was sorry I signed up in the first place. This hassle alone was NOT worth the struggle. They replied mentioning that they could not refund my money and instead give me 12 months of service. This felt inappropriate so I did some research and found that thousands of others are experience extreme fraud from this company. We deserve our money back and Shaw Academy needs to be shut down immediately. I responded to Richard from ***@shawacademy.com and since then I haven't heard anything in return. I am upset that my money was stolen by corporate greed, but I'm even more furious to hear that I am among thousands of others and during a global pandemic none the less! Thank you for keeping the world a safer place!
Desired Outcome
All I am asking for is my $69.99 refunded to my account (I can send over bank statements if you need), and I would like to hear that the other thousands of people who've been robbed by Shaw A get their money back as well. Shaw Academy cannot continue to take advantage of innocent people!

Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my credit card and refused to refund the money although I did never purchased their services.
The problem date began June 25, 2020 when they charged my credit card $69.99 without my authorization. The only reason I went to the website was because I was offered a free four-week trial of the course for photography that started on June 24, 2020. The trial began on the same date and my classes started supposedly on the 25th but I was charged. We called the number indicated in the website to cancel the membership and I spoke to Ayakha M , she then told us to email ***@shawacademy.com :For all refunds please contact our billing team. Maria (Shaw Academy) contacted us and continued to say that they were not going to give us a refund back. My ticket number is (#***). They charged my credit card $69.99. They have not answered my last email.

I have signed up for this website which provides online a services, however I didn't find any relevant classes and wanted to cancel. During this time I attempted to cancel my subscription online without success. After a few email I received a response from this company saying that my free trial had been expired and I had been charged the 69.99 subscription fee. However I have not used their services and had not received any response prior to being charged the membership fee.

Shaw Academy services have violated a UK legislation by practising 'Misleading Actions'. They have refused to provide a full refund.
I signed up for a free trial to see what it was like and they stole £39.95 - DURING the free trial AND when I was just about to cancel anyway. I am so offended. They have yet to still give my money back - even after I went through various automated calls and finally reached a human who still wanted to sell me 2 free extra months of "studying" and drew out the whole cancellation process. This person referred me to contact another department who dealt with refunds. None of these actions can be conducted on Shaw Academy's actual website. I have sent multiple emails to them already, I have opened up a PayPal dispute and they have yet to contact me about providing me with a full refund.
I signed up on the 28th of June. I attended a lesson on the 29th of June 2020. I then realised the course was not for me so on the 29th of June I was deciding to cancel. I was looking around the website for any further USEFUL information - which the website seems to be lacking - on the graphic design course for the last time. I clicked on a link - not knowing it was a 'one-click' buy link. (*There is evidence shown in the attachment which displays annotations of Shaw Academy's deceptive and poor UI). The one-click buy was not made clear (*evidenced). The majority of the buttons were the deceptive 'one-click-buy' - consisting of 3/5 of the total button links (*) indicating that it was a mine-field for fraudulent, and money-grabbing behaviour. As a result the Shaw Academy has charged me £39.95 on a purchase I never intended to make. This breached REGULATION 5 of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations Act - which is UK legislation. This legislation can be found in the attachment.
Specifically Shaw Academy has conducted a 'Misleading Action' (from Regulation 5 of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation) in its UI. The links were and are not clear they are 'one-click-purchase' buttons. They are displayed with no information on the actual product nor on any terms and conditions (*). If the company comes up with any terms and conditions - they are invalid as they were not made readily available.
Furthermore, the digital content must be as "described (the main characteristics, functionality, and compatibility of digital content must be given to consumers before they buy)". This, reinforced by my evidence of the Shaw Academy breaching Regulation 5 shows sections of 'The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations' which the Shaw Academy is unlawfully breaching. Therefore I am entitled to a full refund from this unsatisfactory and unlawful service.
I have cancelled my account only after one day and one lesson so therefore I will not be using whatever 'toolkit' I got - which in itself was not made clear to me. Furthermore my account is deleted meaning I have no access to this 'tool-kit' anyway therefore Shaw Academy should lawfully refund me in full my £39.95.
Desired Outcome
This dispute can only be resolved by the Shaw Academy issuing a full refund of £39.95 back into my account to return my money.
Furthermore the Shaw Academy's terms and conditions of the product are as stated:"Single purchases: If a student purchases an E-cert(ificate) or toolkit from the members area, by checkout page or single click purchase, refunds cannot be provided without just cause, as defined by incorrect content or pricing. The case is the same for the onetime payment to proceed directly to module 2".
These terms and conditions do not invalidate UK Consumer Protection legislation and consumer rights. I am LEGALLY entitled to reject the goods within 30 days of buying/receiving the delivery of the goods - especially if I do not possess them.
This is known as the "short-term" right to reject. Where the short term right to reject is exercised, I am legally able to ask for a full refund. The refund MUST be given without delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the date you agree the consumer is entitled to a refund. If you do not adhere to my request I will be contacting my bank and taking legal action.
I have contacted the company far too many times in effort to resolve this issue. This shall be the last effort before taking legal action.
Thereafter, any connection or information about me, my card details, contact etc. should be completely removed from the website to ensure my data protection.

Shaw Academy is a SCAM! Not because they do not provide a service, but because their website is designed with click bait "one-click" buttons that charge your account the instant it's pressed. Their webpage is difficult to navigate so if you're a person like myself that appreciates a clear, concise program... THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! They refuse to issue refunds for any purpose that is stated at the time of registering for a membership. I opened an account on 6/22/20 and was charged $69.99 after clicking on a button that claimed to allow me to see my courses. I called the instant it notified that my card had been charged (6/25/20) but they refused a refund on the basis that they do not issue refunds.
49.99 GBP taken from me when it was never authorised or stated I would be charged. Scam.
About a month ago, I saw an advertisment on Instagram for a Graphics Design course that was originally 49.99 GBP but was now FREE. I signed up for it, and gave my PayPal details for confirmation as it asked for it. However, it was never stated that I was actually signing up for a subscription, and that after 4 weeks I would be charged. It was advertised to me as if it was usually a one time payment for the course, but I would get it for free. 4 weeks later, 49.99 GBP has been taken from me. I never authorised this, and was completly unaware I would be charged. I contacted PayPal, and they cannot help. I contacted Shaw Academy themselves and they told me it was a non-refundable subscription (which, again, I was never made aware of).
I have attached an image of the ad I saw. You can clearly see that it has 49.99 GBP crossed out, and now says "NOW FREE".

I have mentioned this so many times to Shaw Academy themselves through email, as well as PayPal: I was NEVER told that what I was signing up for was a subscription. I was told it was originally a one time payment, but I would get it completely FREE.
I also think that the fact that this payment is non-refundable makes it all seem so much more shady. I've never had any problem like this with other subscription services eg. Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime and many more.
For a company not to allow refunds within a certain time period after the customer has been charged is very fishy and unprofessional.
And yet, once again, I was never even told it was a subscription. Outrageous.

Firstly, I have attached the same file I attached previously of a screenshot of the ad I saw. I've said this so many times but there is no mention of a subscription.
Secondly, with almost every subscription service, there is always an option to issue a refund within a small timeframe for whatever the customer has been charged. This is usually because customers forget to cancel subscriptions. Example, I once forgot to cancel my Amazon Prime before it charged me. I went on the website to cancel it and, without even going through customer service, there was an option to refund my previous payment and cancel the subscription. Once again, it is very unprofessional and shady that Shaw Academy does not do the same, and many people who have gone through the same as I have with yourselves would agree with me.
Also, do keep in mind that I am a 16 year old. £49.99 is a big deal for me, and I had no clue that I would be charged as I have mentioned over and over again. It all feels very unfair and I feel scammed from my money, especially since I wasn't satisfied with the course I signed up for in the first place.

While at another site, I was redirected to the Shaw Academy site. It fraudulently indicated that it had free courses. I never signed up but was billed
The Shaw Academy site fraudulently indicates that it initially signing up for a course with them is free. The fact is that, while you "can sign up for free," there is no coursework that you can actually take without paying an exorbitant amount for the documentation. Prior to agreeing to this farce, I chose not to proceed. Despite never giving the site permission to do so, I was, nevertheless billed. There is no way to contact the site. The phone number indicates that it is not working. Not a single one of the 26 emails that I have sent them have been responded to. When I filed a claim with my bank, they waited almost four months and, for reasons yet unexplained to me, my bank returned money from my account to Shaw. I have found that the only way to deal with the matter is to sue Shaw Academy and my bank due pursuant to their violations of the federal interstate banking regulations; which I will be doing next week.
Desired Outcome

Hi ***,
We would like to apologize for your recent experience.
Having checked our records, you have registered for a free trial and you got charged as you didn't cancel it on time. We have now stopped the auto renewal on your account and you will not be charged until you reactivate it.
WE have now processed the refund and you will receive it in 4-5 business days.
I assumed I canceled a free trial. The process was overly confusing. I was charged twice and am unable to get a refund from them.
At the beginning of May I signed up for a free trial of Shaw Academy. I was told to put in my credit card info to protect fraud and that I would not be charged after the trial. I set up a reminder to double check my cancellation anyway. When the end of May came (and a rather lackluster class was over) I attempted to cancel my account and believed I succeeded. I was not notified I was to be charged again. It wasn't until June 29th when I noticed a charge was pending for $69.99 (I would later discover a second, identical charge was charged on June 1st). I promptly reached out to Shaw's Customer service. They have no phone service line that would help me. It took a day for a reply to get back to me. In the meantime I ensured I canceled my subscription to their service and was met with a number of dark patterns trying to trick me into staying. Once I reached the end of the online portion, I was prompted to call a phone number. However, the office was closed so I'd need to call tomorrow. I called the number first thing in the morning and was not met with a human voice once (I don't know why I couldn't have called this robot outside of office hours. If I had been on the edge of a pay period, this could've have cost me another payment of $69.99). The phone call was far to long and included more dark patterns and was trying to convince me to stay with a barrage of offers and such. I also changed my credit card believing they would likely find a way to charge me again. I finally got a reply back on June 30th from Allen. He informed me a refund is impossible (he did not address The specifics of my issues) despite me not using their services and it very clearly being a mistake. He offered me yet another free gift that I was not interested in. I denied the gift, I only want the refund, he doubled the gift but again was unable to refund me. He claimed it is due to the terms I agreed to. But I remember the terms differently and also was under the impression I canceled anyway.
Desired Outcome
I would like my account to remain canceled, and I would like a refund of $139.98 to my account (the exact amount they charged me over two charges).

As you can imagine, I didn't take any screenshots because I did not assume records would need to be kept. I thought this company would be reputable. I also shouldn't need to. I didn't use your services at all during the period I was charged, I thought I canceled but the process Shaw sets up to cancel is designed to confuse, trick, and frustrate people into not canceling. Hi ***,
We're sorry to know you were less than satisfied with Shaw Academy. However we have reviewed your account and would like to inform you that the first email we received from you was on 30 June stating that you were informed you will not be charged even after the trial period. We are not sure where you received this information, as our terms and conditions have not been changed in the recent past and nor it states this statement. If you have any document stating this statement please do share as we can have an investigation started.
Well that being said we would like to inform that as you failed to cancel your account within the trial period the system has auto renewed and charged your account as mentioned in the Ts & Cs which you agreed during the registration process. As a goodwill gesture we have initiated a refund for the last transaction ($69.99 USD) which will be credited back to the source in next 3-5 business days. We have also deactivated your account.

Not ideal but I'm honestly fed up so I'll take it. Thank you
Shaw Academy have taken £39.95 out of my paypal account without warning.
I registered for a free online social media course with Shaw Academy on the 27th June 2020. I was under the impression the company were going to take £0.30 out of my PayPal account, then refund it to put me through their system. There didn't seem to be another way to register other than providing them with my PayPal details.
I had an email from Shaw Academy on 29th June 2020 telling me to get ready for my first class and included a button reading "Get your toolkit now". I clicked the button thinking it was free (understandably, the course is advertised as free and the button had no "buy now"). As soon as I clicked the button, £39.95 was taken out of my PayPal account by Shaw Academy!
I contacted PayPal, they said they can't help as it was an "agreement" made with Shaw Academy (which is not true. Shaw Academy have made this agreement themselves. I had no knowledge of paying any amount of money). PayPal don't have the power to intervene and suggested I contact the company directly. PayPal have cancelled the "agreement" so Shaw Academy cannot charge any more.
I didn't attend the class on 29th June as I was worried I'd be tricked into paying more money without my permission. I had an email on 29th June again reading "you're late for your first class!". I replied reasoning why I won't be joining the classes, I don't trust them now. I'm worried if I use any other materials or click on any other buttons I'll get charged again. I complained and requested a refund for their mistake.
"Gomes" replied to my email, claiming that I had "purchased" the toolkit through the email button "buy now". I have proof that this is not the case, a screenshot of the email including the button I clicked. It reads "Get your toolkit now". It does not say "buy now". He made me an offer of receiving credit to the value of $199 to use on their website for other course materials.
I replied I don't accept this offer. I asked how can I be so sure that this isn't yet another scam in which the company will take more of my money? I attached a screenshot of the email which had the button, I digitally drew a circle around the button so this was clear to Gomes. I reiterated the fact that it did not say "buy now". It said nothing but "Get your toolkit now". I didn't attend any classes. I haven't used the tool kit I've been forced to pay £39.95 for, I haven't used any of their materials. These are digital, not physical products and therefore have no sign of wear/no damage. So I don't see why I can't get a refund.
Gomes responded and said the refund is "not at all convenient" and said that they would like to offer me "unlimited services". He wrote he has extended my access by three months, free of charge. I cannot bring myself to trust this company again.
Gomes replied "the refund is not at all convenient" for Shaw Academy. I responded I think he misunderstood my previous emails. I said I don't want to use the course, and am uninterested in how much value the company wants to give me unless it's the £39.95 back into my PayPal account. How do I know that this "free three months" is actually free? I said I don't trust them as you can imagine, because I have had an amount of money taken from my account without my permission. As a student, £39.95 is a large amount of money to lose especially with COVID-19. I told him the fact that I've lost this money through no fault of mine is surprisingly inconvenient to me and that I am totally uninterested in what is inconvenient to them in this moment in time.
Gomes responded and said "Unfortunately, the issue remains that you have clicked on the button to purchase and it clearly states that a purchase will go through". This was not the case, as I've already proven. It states "get your toolkit now". I've repeated myself again as they don't seem to understand that they're false advertising and attempting to steal money from vulnerable people.
I have the emails as proof. I will attach the screenshot I've mentioned.
Desired Outcome
I want Shaw Academy to rectify their mistake, and refund me my £39.95 back into my PayPal account. I also want them to delete any of my information or any of my personal details they have.

I have received the refund. Thank You
There is no free 4 weeks plan. Shaw Academy charged me without my consent right after 3 days when I signed up for free trial.
I saw Facebook ad so I signed up 4 weeks free course on SEO digital marking on 21/06/2020. The class was great until I saw they charged me £49.99 without my authorisation on 23/06/2020. I did not purchase anything. All I did was sign up which includes offering them credit card details. I can't believe they just
abuse my personal details to steal money from me in 3 days time. Two day ago I cancelled my membership and emailed them to request my money back. All I have received is an auto reply said they will be getting in touch in 48 hours. So I waited until now. No one has contacted me since then.
Desired Outcome
Give my money back and delete all of my personal details from your company.

On email reply they said I unlocked module 2 and they only offer free courses on module 1 so they charged me.
On Trust pilot they replied and said I manually unlocked module 1 so they charged me.
Now in here this company said I have paid Shaw Academy Premium Membership - Monthly Subscription and it is not refundable!
As you have reviewed my account at least 3 times, do you have any conclusions to decide what you really wanted me to pay for?
So far I was charged one time for 3 different purchase.
I keep every reply from you in case my bank needs to take any further steps.

That is not true. I have an email from you that confirms my cancellation on May 26, 2020. And I just got an email from you guys saying that you saw that I cancelled and offering me a 6 month membership. I DO NOT WANT THE MEMBERSHIP! I WANT MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE! it's upsetting me because even on the phone line you guys will make all these promises when someone tries to cancel and still take their money anyway. Also you're saying you have no records but Shaw academy just emailed and say they saw that I had cancelled. Both emails are attached below.

I signed up for their free trial in April but canceled shortly after (2 weeks).
I was then charged 69.99 a few days after.
They lied about my refund.
I am SOOO disgusted with SHAW ACADEMY, I had such high hopes and so much respect for them!
I signed up for their free trial in April but canceled shortly after (2 weeks).
I thought it was strange that I kept receiving text message + email reminders, but paid it no mind.
On June 18th, they charged me $69.99!!!
I did NOT authorize this charge and want my refund ASAP!
I wrote my first review about them on TrustPilot on the 19th, and sent them an email as well, they responded back to me on the 20th stating that my funds had been refunded and I would be receiving it within 4-5 business days (that would've been June 26th LATEST). After checking my account at 12 midnight and not seeing my refund, I then reached out to them again on (6/27) at 1:30 pm, only to receive this in response:
Dear Student,
Thank you for reaching out to us,
We are sorry, this email is discontinued. Please contact our support team at (insert their email)

Shaw Academy
Discontinued??? What does that even mean???
What type of sick game are you playing Shaw Academy??
You should take better pride in your business (by teaching your staff to the proper thing to do).
Desired Outcome
I want my money refunded. If possible, for them to be shut down.
They have THOUSANDS of similar cases. It doesn't appear so at first glance because they delete/block negative comments on social media. They also have people place positive comments on TrustPilot.
They lie about refunding and never actually do it. This company does NOT operate on morals and do not deserve to be operating. It's sick to be stealing people's money, especially at a time like this. So disgusting!

I have finally received my refund FROM Shaw Academy. I did not need to contact my bank...thank you so much Revdex.com. I can't believe it took 3 weeks and multiple platforms to make it happen.
I was charged twice for a "free course". I signed up for a 4 week course and was charged $69 dollars in two separate occasions.
I signed up for a free 4 week course at Shaw Academy, but I couldn't make it to my classes so I cancelled my class. I was still charged $69 dollars! I signed up on their advertisement that said the course was FREE. The horrible, cruel, scam that happened next was the real disaster. I thought it was over after they tricked me into paying, yet a few months later I got a second charge! I got billed again $69.00 for no reason. I have never attended a single class and I cancelled!! I clicked cancel classes so many times I am so confused and I feel tricked.
Desired Outcome
I want to be removed from my classes, cancel my membership forever, and be refunded $69.00

I want them to refund the money, what they are charging is not worth the price that they charged me. They are extremely misleading offering a free 30days and automatically charging people $70.
Hi ***,
I have reviewed your account as well as gone through your complaint.
I literally just want a refund. The price they charge for an eCertificate (a piece of paper) is ridiculous and I never would have paid that much, had I known I would be charged. I only took a few intro classes, I have no use for the piece of paper and won't do anything with it anyway. I didn't even save it to my files.

I don't want anything to do with Shaw Academy. They keep offering free courses, but the only thing I am seeking is to get my refund back.

I have signed up for this website which provides online a services, however I didn't find any relevant classes and wanted to cancel. After a few email I received a response from this company saying that my free trial had been expired and I had been charged the 69.99 subscription fee. However I have not used their services and had not received any response prior to being charged the membership fee.
I would like to receive a refund for services that were never provided. They are offering a year subscription for free however I don't find any of their online classes relevant or appealing to me.

Hi ***,
I have reviewed your account and would like to confirm that we have charged £39.95 for the purchase (Toolkit for Professional Diploma in Graphic Design Module 1) you made via our one click purchase option. As per our Terms and Condition mentioned to you during the registration this is a non refundable charge, however as a good will gesture I have initiated a refund which will be credited back to the source in next 3-5 business days.
Regards,
Shaw Academy

PayPal Invoice ID:
XXXXXXXX
PayPal Transaction ID:
***XXXXXXXXXXXX
All I want is to get my 49.99 GBP back which I was wrongfully charged for.
Hi ***,
I have reviewed your account as well as gone through your complaint. We would like to bring to your attention that the amount that has been debited from your account is for auto renewal of the course. The auto renewal process is clearly mentioned in the terms and condition that you initially agreed to. we request you to email us at ***@shawacademy.com for further assistance.

Shaw Academy
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Outrageous.
Hi ***,
We're sorry to hear you were less than satisfied with Shaw Academy. First and foremost we would request you to share any sort of document supporting the statement " I was told it was originally a one time payment, but I would get it completely FREE".
We would like to inform you that the auto renewal process was very well informed in the terms and conditions, which you had accepted during the registration process. We are not sure how you managed to get the refund from other service provider, as many of them including myself have not been able to get a refund after the auto renewal. Please write to us at ***@shawacademy.com if any further assistance needed.
Regards,
Shaw Academy
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Hi ***,
As a goodwill gesture we have initiated a refund which will be credited back to the source in next 3-5 business days.

Full refund of money taken from my bank and losses incurred because of Shaws actions.

I cancelled my subscription last month and I was still charged 70 dollars just now.
I cancelled my subscription last month in June. I was just charged $70 today 07/01/2020. I would like my money back since it was wrongly taken from my account.
A refund of $69.99
Hi ***,
We would like to apologize for your recent experience.
Having checked our records, you have registered for a free trial and you got charged as you didn't cancel it on time. We have now stopped the auto renewal on your account and you will not be charged until you reactivate it.
WE have now processed the refund and you will receive it in 4-5 business days.
Regards,
Shaw Academy
I would like my account to remain canceled, and I would like a refund of $139.98 to my account (the exact amount they charged me over two charges).
Hai ***, We are sorry to let you down with this experience. However, I would surely want to help you with the same, But as we have no records of you requesting us to cancel the membership before the date/time of auto-renewal hence we request you to kindly provide us with any details or screenshot related to this issue which would help us know that you had contacted us in anyways on time so that we can help you with this issue and get this resolved ASAP, Kindly provide details through Emai- ***@shawacademy.com

Any other reputable company would refund me.
Hi ***,
We're sorry to know you were less than satisfied with Shaw Academy.

I want Shaw Academy to rectify their mistake, and refund me my £39.95 back into my PayPal account. I also want them to delete any of my information or any of my personal details they have.

Finally I have received my refund.
Shaw academy charged me for nothing and refused to refund. I confirmed themt I m notgnot to use any of their services and they wouldn't refund anyway.
I subscribed for a free 4 weeks trial of a course they were offering and I was charged for as they say ecertificate that I never ordered. I contacted them but Vadik from their support team refused to refund. Please find attached the email. I m not going to use their services. I never ordered any certificate but I have to pay them? It's a scam. Thank you
I just want my money back and I don't want to know anything about that company anymore.
Hi ***,
We would like to apologize for your recent experience.
Having checked our records, you have registered for a free trial and you have purchased the E Certificate from the course page, so the payment was processed.
We have now processed the refund and you will receive it in 4-5 business days.

Give my money back and delete all of my personal details from your company.
Hai ***, We are extremely sorry for the unpleasant experience with us, We have reviewed your account and would like to confirm that we have charged £49.99 GBP for the purchase (Shaw Academy Premium Membership - Monthly Subscription) made via our Auto-renewal option, As per our Terms and Condition mentioned to you during the registration this is a non-refundable charge hence we would not be able to refund that amount, Our intention was not to upset you in any way.
With Regards,
Shaw academy
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

Confirmed cancellation: May 26,2020
Payment taken: June 30,2020

Thank you
I signed up for their free trial in April but canceled shortly after (2 weeks).
Regards,
Shaw Academy
Discontinued??? What does that even mean???
What type of sick game are you playing Shaw Academy??
You should take better pride in your business (by teaching your staff to the proper thing to do).

Considering that this isn't the first time they've lied about refunding me, I'll have towait till the 3-5 business days (7/13) to see if they truly rrefund me before accepting their "proposed resolution".

I want to be removed from my classes, cancel my membership forever, and be refunded $69.00
