Not issuing my refund or cancelling my non active service
My student number is XXXXX. I thought I clicked on a link today that would allow me to take a free 4-week photography course but somehow as I finished the process of signing up I was charged $69.99 plus $1 three different times. I just signed up today and and I would like to cancel right away as I did not agree to a paid course during the time of sign up.
I emailed them and even opened a case with PayPal. I got an email back from Shaw Academy saying my membership was cancelled but they did not address the refund request in my Email at all. I have since emailed them 3 times. I am worried now as I literally cancelled the membership same day I signed up and have not heard back about refund. What a massive pain this is! Scammers.
Plus my membership status still shows as active?! They better not charge me again!!! Nobody has 70 dollars lying around to continue paying for something you are not using.
Please refund my money as I am not using your service and I cancelled the same moment I signed up considering what I thought I was signing up for was a 4-week free course but instead you proceeded to charge me the full amount the same day I sign up?!?!

I signed up for a free trial and tried to cancel, but they said I missed the cancellation period and intend to charge me. I didn't miss it.
I signed up for a free 4-week trial through T-Mobile Tuesdays on March 24, 2020. This 4-week trial was meant to end on April 21, 2020 which is exactly 28 days from the day I signed up. I went into my account to cancel on April 20, 2020, but there was no option to cancel my trial. I emailed support who lied and said I missed the cancellation window, but I did not miss it. I have proof of when I registered for a the free 4-week trial and I should not be charged. I attached the photo to this message.
Desired Outcome
I want Shaw Academy to guarantee my premium membership is cancelled, that I will be refunded any fraudulent charges on my credit card, and I will never be charged again. I do not want to sign up for any additional free-of-charge memberships as they've proven themselves to be untrustworthy and pull a last minute bait-and-switch to prevent cancellation. I want to be completely cleared of any payment or premium membership of this company.

Refuses to refund me for a service I did not intend to purchase stating that it's been activated thus I'm using it. Yet I haven't even opened the app.

I signed up for a 4 week free course and during the sign up process a button force popped up on the screen offering a free trial of a "toolkit" when pressed it processed my purchase without even allowing me to review and see it costs anything. When emailed they refused to refund me as it has been "activated" thus I'm able to use it. Although I deleted my subscription and have yet to open the toolkit or the course itself. I've sent multiple emails involving the issue and each is combated with an excuse as to why I can't be refunded for a service I am not using. They went as far to say they gave me "credit" on my course to use more tools on the account I deactivated!

I'm seeking a refund for the toolkit as I have canceled my subscription all together and have yet to even open their courses.

I wanted to sign up for their free course. I provided my credit card to access the course. My card was charged and has not been refunded.
On april 17, 2020 shaw academy offered their courses free for the next 4 weeks. I signed up to take a course. I had to provide a credit card to access the course. My card was billed 69.99. I cancelled. G account the same day. I called today at 3pm to cancel. I was told if I want to give up on myself and my dream goals then cancel. I cancelled anyways but they kept my account active after I cancelled it. And no money has been refunded.

Refund
I made an account with a month free trail, which I liked, had no issues, nothing. They offer a toolkit to help with your classes which I did not want/need but they have a button that says "one click purchase", no confirmation or anything. Well I accidentally pressed it and immediately took my money from my account, I've made multiple email
attempts to get in contact but they can't find my information. I have the receipts. I just want the refund for the toolkit, I'll pay the month to month fee cause the classes are actually legit.

I cancelled my trial and account before the start of my membership and was still charged.
I started a trial period with Shaw Academy and quickly realized I had no time to continue the classes so 2 weeks into the trial I ended my my membership. At the moment it said my membership had been terminated and I did not think anything of it. When I went to check my recent PayPal transactions I realized I had been charged the $59.99 for the Shaw Academy Membership that I had previously cancelled so I went back into the website and cancelled a second time. While I am assuming this is part of some glitch that is not at all my fault, I was still charged for a membership that I have not used nor intend to use. I emailed their customer service and they tried to offer me a 6 month trial, which is very nice of them, but not what I asked for. I think its very unfair I'm being charged for a service I CANCELLED and have no intention of using and hope that someone can offer me some help. After scrolling through the many complaints about this company, I've noticed this is a common issue that has happened to many people. By raising this complaint I am hoping I can receive extra customer service help and the refund I deserve.

I cancelled my subscription with Shaw Academy well before the free trial ended. They still charged my account with the free trial.
I signed up for the free trial at Shaw Academy about a month ago thinking that if I didn't like the service, I could cancel before I was charged. Well that it not the case. I cancelled my free trial before the date that it ended, but I was still charged full price. They took money from me that was not prompted by me. It's ridiculous that they would charge my account before the free trial was over. They also said that I had purchased a certificate which I had not done. I've tried to call and email but have not talked to real person yet to get this situation resolved.

Shaw's communication has been very disappointing. They don't answer their phone and send the same response emails with no help.
I don't recall ever signing up for a free trial for their courses back in mArch. They never sent a confirmation email about it either. I have not even used the site once. When I emailed them about it, they just send back the same prewritten responses. I will not pay $69.99.

Charged my credit card after the membership was cancelled
My experience is just the same as most previous experiences described. I signed up for a "free trial" on March 15th. On March 27th I made my first attempt to cancel. The number provided kept hanging up. I emailed customer service. They sent me back to the phone number. After wasting a lot of time going back and forth with them I finally got an email saying that my membership was cancelled. I attach this email below. It was April 4th. On April 15th my card was charged 59.99. When I emailed their customer service, they said that the email I got was a mistake, it was sent to everybody automatically. I DON'T CARE! Why do I have to waste my time doing all this? I have an email saying that my membership was cancelled. Any charge after that is illegal. T&C says, that I give them permission to charge my card IF I don't cancel the free trial. AND I DID! Shady, shady business.

Shaw Academy charged my credit card without my authorization and after I attempted to cancel my account multiple times.
I signed up for a 4 week free course with Shaw Academy 4 weeks prior to April 18 (Student Number: XXXXX). I never started the course due to outside factors.
I have been trying to cancel my membership with no success. The hoops they make people jump through to cancel is ridiculous. Anyone should be able to cancel their membership with a click of a button. Instead they make people go through multiple steps where they try to suck people back in. At the end of it all, they didn't even allow me to cancel my membership. After going through multiple steps on my account I am left with a phone number to call and a reference number (XXXXX). When I call the number I am forced to go through multiple steps again of them telling me I don't care about my future. At the end of all the voice recordings I am told that my account has been cancelled. But my reference number was not asked for, so how could my account be cancelled if they didn't know who is calling?
The next day (Apr 18, 2020) they charge my credit card $69.99. I try to cancel my account again with no success.
I then send them an email with my problem. They tell me that they are not able to give me a refund and then offer me a bunch of free stuff so I can continue to be scammed by them. The email also says that "The first thing I have taken the liberty of doing is to confirm your membership is cancelled thus ensuring no further payments". But, they STILL did not cancel my account.
They are not allowing me to cancel my membership so they can steal my money.
By not allowing people to cancel their accounts and then charging their credit cards with no authorization, they are engaging in illegal activity.

All I would like is for the unauthorized charge of $69.99 be credited back to my credit card and for my membership with Shaw Academy to be permanently deleted.

Shaw Academy will not give me a refund even though I canceled my subscription three times via their automatic system.
Shaw academy doesn't have a live person to speak to at this moment. However I called and canceled my subscription with them three times. In the middle of purchasing groceries they took $70 out of my account. I emailed them because a cancellation is a cancellation no matter how it's received. They told me I wouldn't get a refund but offered me 6 months worth of free classes. I don't know if they are clueless to the ways of the world but my family and I need groceries more than I need a class right now as in my state we have a shelter in place unless its for essentials. I never used the service not even one class. This is not good customer service at all. I've attached the screenshot of how the money was taken out of my account while trying to purchase groceries for my household.

I was offered free module toolkit, but subsequently was charged which the company refused to refund.
I had signed up for free 4 weeks live Nutrition course with the company on April 10th. They had advertised it as a live course with other students and also mentioned receiving a certificate at the end of the course. After the first 2 classes I realized that all the classes were pre-recorded with only other participant an automated robot "Morpheus"; no other students participants. On top of that you had to pay for class notes and class certification. Therefore I decided to cancel my subscription which they wouldn't let me do online (again as advertised) and asked me to call a number with an automated machine. I did so on April 14th at which time I was offered free module 1 toolkit, ecertificate and 30 day trial if I continued, which I accepted. As per the phone call the offer was added to my account, but when I tried to access my toolkit later in the day I was charged 39.95. At no time during the phone call was I informed that it would take time for the module and ecertificate to be added to my account all that was mentioned at the end of the call was that "module toolkit and ecertificate were added to my account".
I contacted the customer service right away and did not get a reply. I contacted you a second time and "Paul" address the issue. He replied that:
"I checked and see you were provided with one module toolkit and e-certificate which will be automatically enabled within 24-48 hours. Meanwhile, you've clicked on it and got charged...Once the Toolkit is activated in your account it is made available to you and we have transferred the content to you hence it cannot be disabled as it was provided therefore, we cannot refund."
Once again I was not informed anywhere over the phone call that it would take time for module toolkit to be available to me. I should not be penalized for the mistake on the part of the company for not updating the system/ failure to inform that it would take 24-48hrs for the toolkit to be available to me. Therefore the module toolkit charge should be refunded back because I only tried to access the toolkit after it was offered to me for free over the phone and assured that it was added to my account.
I tried to contact customer service again with no reply from the company. This has been a frustrating process with no proper customer service support, misleading advertising and false charges. I would like to cancel the subscription and need them to refund the unfairly charged amount on my account as well.

I had submitted a cancellation request a day before the expiry of my free subscription, but could not confirm it as the line was not available to call. On friday, 17th april 2020, money CAD $ 69.99 was deducted from my account without prior notice. And my bank notified me about the deduction at 5:05pm EDT but your number for canada is available till 5pm EDT only. for the next 2 days, calling service was not available as it was saturday.
So, I request you to please refund the amount as I have cancelled the subscription.

Funds were refunded
They refused to give me a refund, despite the fact that I requested the refund the same day as the charge and have not used ANY of the lessons.
I signed up for a free trial and did not use any of the lessons. On the last day of my trial, they charged me $59.99 and refused to give me a refund. I have not used any of the materials or lessons, which they can see on their end (because I get constant "you've missed your class!" emails). I requested the refund the same day as the charge. The entire site is gimmicky and constantly asking you to buy more and more extras. Judging by the video titles, the class was much too basic for my needs and extending my membership gives me absolutely no benefit. I am extremely unhappy about my experience with Shaw Academy.

I am unable to cancel my free trial.
I signed up for a 4-week free trial with the Shaw Academy for a course in nutrition. After 4 days of the trial I decided I no longer wanted to subscribe and decided to cancel my free trial now so I would not have to think about it closer to the expiry date of my subscription when they might charge my account. Rather than being able to cancel through the website they referred me to a phone number (X XXX XXX XXXX) and asked that I reference my account number (XXXXX) to confirm my cancellation. However the phone number led me to an automated voice machine that simply repeats the same message over and over and does not allow me to cancel. I would like to confirm that my membership is cancelled so that I do not get charged in a month.
Desired Outcome
I would like to receive a confirmation that my account has been removed and I am unsubscribed from the Shaw academy. I would no longer like to continue with my free trial (even though I have 26 days remaining) and I certainly do not want to pay for a membership in one month. Shaw Academy fraudulently charged my PayPal multiple times
I saw that Shaw Academy was offering free classes for 4 weeks, but you had to connect a credit card or your paypal account. After signing up, I was trying to navigate the site, and accidentally clicked on a button to find out about getting the classwork slides. Immediately they charged my Paypal account. There was no conformation, just a one click charge to the account I had linked. When I emailed them to get my money back - they could see that I had not downloaded any information, I hadn't even attended any classes (which they aren't even classes, they are just pre-recorded videos). I asked to cancel my membership right away and emailed them on Mon 3/23/2020 3:42 PM. I filled out the paperwork to cancel online, and it just took me to a screen telling me to give them a call. They responded that they would not give me my money back.
I asked for it back again. And again they refused.
Since they still had not confirmed that I wanted to cancel the membership, I once again emailed them that I wanted to cancel. On 4/10/XXXX X:XX PM I received an email saying that my membership had been cancelled. See Attachment. It read "Your membership with Shaw Academy has now been cancelled. It will be reflected within 24 hours in your account. We are sorry to see you go and we appreciate that in the current climate things can be difficult. We have seen a huge increase in the number of students who want to upskill recently, and we take our responsibility very seriously. As a result, we would like to credit your Shaw Academy account with 2 months free access completely free of charge. So that you can continue to study and achieve your goals despite having cancelled your subscription."
Today 4/20/20 they charged my Paypal the renewal fee and I cannot contact anyone in person to dispute this. I've emailed them. I can't even leave a bad review on their FB because they have reviews disabled. They are obviously all about cheating people out of their money.

I want my money back, and I want to be able to leave a review in a public place so that other people will not be scammed. I want them to disable their one click purchasing options on their website. It is not ok.

I signed up for a free trial of Shaw Academy in March 19 2020. I attempted to cancel on April 15 2020 and after repeated attempts online to up-sell me I was told I had to call a number to cancel but it was out of the time range that the website listed the number was running, despite the fact that it is an automated number. I called today April 17 2020 which is the last day of my free trial and cancelled my account, but I was charged $69.99 CAD anyways. I sent a complaint email and was given a form email, ticket #XXXXXXX and told not to email again. I have not found a better way to contact a real person to ask for a refund. I never took any classes and cancelled my account within the correct time frame.

I went into my account to cancel on April 20, 2020, but there was no option to cancel my trial. I emailed support who lied and said I missed the cancellation window, but I did not miss it. I have proof of when I registered for a the free 4-week trial and I should not be charged. I attached the photo to this message.
I want Shaw Academy to guarantee my premium membership is cancelled, that I will be refunded any fraudulent charges on my credit card, and I will never be charged again. I do not want to sign up for any additional free-of-charge memberships as they've proven themselves to be untrustworthy and pull a last minute bait-and-switch to prevent cancellation. I want to be completely cleared of any payment or premium membership of this company.

Refuses to refund me for a service I did not intend to purchase stating that it's been activated thus I'm using it. Yet I haven't even opened the app.

I signed up for a 4 week free course and during the sign up process a button force popped up on the screen offering a free trial of a "toolkit" when pressed it processed my purchase without even allowing me to review and see it costs anything. When emailed they refused to refund me as it has been "activated" thus I'm able to use it. Although I deleted my subscription and have yet to open the toolkit or the course itself. I've sent multiple emails involving the issue and each is combated with an excuse as to why I can't be refunded for a service I am not using. They went as far to say they gave me "credit" on my course to use more tools on the account I deactivated!
I'm seeking a refund for the toolkit as I have canceled my subscription all together and have yet to even open their courses.

I wanted to sign up for their free course. I provided my credit card to access the course. My card was charged and has not been refunded.
On april 17, 2020 shaw academy offered their courses free for the next 4 weeks. I signed up to take a course. I had to provide a credit card to access the course. My card was billed 69.99. I cancelled. G account the same day. I called today at 3pm to cancel. I was told if I want to give up on myself and my dream goals then cancel. I cancelled anyways but they kept my account active after I cancelled it. And no money has been refunded.

They offer a toolkit to help with your classes which I did not want/need but they have a button that says "one click purchase", no confirmation or anything. I cancelled my trial and account before the start of my membership and was still charged.
I started a trial period with Shaw Academy and quickly realized I had no time to continue the classes so 2 weeks into the trial I ended my my membership. At the moment it said my membership had been terminated and I did not think anything of it. When I went to check my recent PayPal transactions I realized I had been charged the $59.99 for the Shaw Academy Membership that I had previously cancelled so I went back into the website and cancelled a second time. While I am assuming this is part of some glitch that is not at all my fault, I was still charged for a membership that I have not used nor intend to use. I emailed their customer service and they tried to offer me a 6 month trial, which is very nice of them, but not what I asked for. I think its very unfair I'm being charged for a service I CANCELLED and have no intention of using and hope that someone can offer me some help. After scrolling through the many complaints about this company, I've noticed this is a common issue that has happened to many people. By raising this complaint I am hoping I can receive extra customer service help and the refund I deserve.

I cancelled my subscription with Shaw Academy well before the free trial ended. They still charged my account with the free trial.
I signed up for the free trial at Shaw Academy about a month ago thinking that if I didn't like the service, I could cancel before I was charged. Well that it not the case. I cancelled my free trial before the date that it ended, but I was still charged full price. They took money from me that was not prompted by me. It's ridiculous that they would charge my account before the free trial was over. They also said that I had purchased a certificate which I had not done. I've tried to call and email but have not talked to real person yet to get this situation resolved.

Shaw's communication has been very disappointing. They don't answer their phone and send the same response emails with no help.
I don't recall ever signing up for a free trial for their courses back in mArch. They never sent a confirmation email about it either. I have not even used the site once. When I emailed them about it, they just send back the same prewritten responses. I will not pay $69.99.

Charged my credit card after the membership was cancelled
My experience is just the same as most previous experiences described. I signed up for a "free trial" on March 15th. On March 27th I made my first attempt to cancel. The number provided kept hanging up. I emailed customer service. They sent me back to the phone number. After wasting a lot of time going back and forth with them I finally got an email saying that my membership was cancelled. I attach this email below. It was April 4th. On April 15th my card was charged 59.99. When I emailed their customer service, they said that the email I got was a mistake, it was sent to everybody automatically. I DON'T CARE! Why do I have to waste my time doing all this? I have an email saying that my membership was cancelled. Any charge after that is illegal. T&C says, that I give them permission to charge my card IF I don't cancel the free trial. AND I DID! Shady, shady business.

Shaw Academy charged my credit card without my authorization and after I attempted to cancel my account multiple times.
I signed up for a 4 week free course with Shaw Academy 4 weeks prior to April 18 (Student Number: XXXXX). I never started the course due to outside factors.
I have been trying to cancel my membership with no success. The hoops they make people jump through to cancel is ridiculous. Anyone should be able to cancel their membership with a click of a button. Instead they make people go through multiple steps where they try to suck people back in. At the end of it all, they didn't even allow me to cancel my membership. After going through multiple steps on my account I am left with a phone number to call and a reference number (XXXXX). When I call the number I am forced to go through multiple steps again of them telling me I don't care about my future. At the end of all the voice recordings I am told that my account has been cancelled. But my reference number was not asked for, so how could my account be cancelled if they didn't know who is calling?
The next day (Apr 18, 2020) they charge my credit card $69.99. I try to cancel my account again with no success.
I then send them an email with my problem. They tell me that they are not able to give me a refund and then offer me a bunch of free stuff so I can continue to be scammed by them. The email also says that "The first thing I have taken the liberty of doing is to confirm your membership is cancelled thus ensuring no further payments". But, they STILL did not cancel my account.
They are not allowing me to cancel my membership so they can steal my money.
By not allowing people to cancel their accounts and then charging their credit cards with no authorization, they are engaging in illegal activity.
All I would like is for the unauthorized charge of $69.99 be credited back to my credit card and for my membership with Shaw Academy to be permanently deleted.

Shaw Academy will not give me a refund even though I canceled my subscription three times via their automatic system.
Shaw academy doesn't have a live person to speak to at this moment. However I called and canceled my subscription with them three times. In the middle of purchasing groceries they took $70 out of my account. I emailed them because a cancellation is a cancellation no matter how it's received. They told me I wouldn't get a refund but offered me 6 months worth of free classes. I don't know if they are clueless to the ways of the world but my family and I need groceries more than I need a class right now as in my state we have a shelter in place unless its for essentials. I never used the service not even one class. This is not good customer service at all. I've attached the screenshot of how the money was taken out of my account while trying to purchase groceries for my household.
I would just like a refund as I attempted to cancel not one twice but three times to no avail.

I was offered free module toolkit, but subsequently was charged which the company refused to refund.
I had signed up for free 4 weeks live Nutrition course with the company on April 10th. They had advertised it as a live course with other students and also mentioned receiving a certificate at the end of the course. After the first 2 classes I realized that all the classes were pre-recorded with only other participant an automated robot "Morpheus"; no other students participants. On top of that you had to pay for class notes and class certification. Therefore I decided to cancel my subscription which they wouldn't let me do online (again as advertised) and asked me to call a number with an automated machine. I did so on April 14th at which time I was offered free module 1 toolkit, ecertificate and 30 day trial if I continued, which I accepted. As per the phone call the offer was added to my account, but when I tried to access my toolkit later in the day I was charged 39.95. At no time during the phone call was I informed that it would take time for the module and ecertificate to be added to my account all that was mentioned at the end of the call was that "module toolkit and ecertificate were added to my account".
I contacted the customer service right away and did not get a reply. I contacted you a second time and "Paul" address the issue. He replied that:
"I checked and see you were provided with one module toolkit and e-certificate which will be automatically enabled within 24-48 hours. Meanwhile, you've clicked on it and got charged...Once the Toolkit is activated in your account it is made available to you and we have transferred the content to you hence it cannot be disabled as it was provided therefore, we cannot refund."
Once again I was not informed anywhere over the phone call that it would take time for module toolkit to be available to me. I should not be penalized for the mistake on the part of the company for not updating the system/ failure to inform that it would take 24-48hrs for the toolkit to be available to me. Therefore the module toolkit charge should be refunded back because I only tried to access the toolkit after it was offered to me for free over the phone and assured that it was added to my account.
I tried to contact customer service again with no reply from the company. This has been a frustrating process with no proper customer service support, misleading advertising and false charges. I would like to cancel the subscription and need them to refund the unfairly charged amount on my account as well.

On friday, 17th april 2020, money CAD $ 69.99 was deducted from my account without prior notice. And my bank notified me about the deduction at 5:05pm EDT but your number for canada is available till 5pm EDT only. for the next 2 days, calling service was not available as it was saturday.

They refused to give me a refund, despite the fact that I requested the refund the same day as the charge and have not used ANY of the lessons.
I signed up for a free trial and did not use any of the lessons. On the last day of my trial, they charged me $59.99 and refused to give me a refund. I have not used any of the materials or lessons, which they can see on their end (because I get constant "you've missed your class!" emails). I requested the refund the same day as the charge. The entire site is gimmicky and constantly asking you to buy more and more extras. Judging by the video titles, the class was much too basic for my needs and extending my membership gives me absolutely no benefit. I am extremely unhappy about my experience with Shaw Academy.

I am unable to cancel my free trial.
I signed up for a 4-week free trial with the Shaw Academy for a course in nutrition. After 4 days of the trial I decided I no longer wanted to subscribe and decided to cancel my free trial now so I would not have to think about it closer to the expiry date of my subscription when they might charge my account. Rather than being able to cancel through the website they referred me to a phone number (X XXX XXX XXXX) and asked that I reference my account number (XXXXX) to confirm my cancellation. However the phone number led me to an automated voice machine that simply repeats the same message over and over and does not allow me to cancel. I would like to confirm that my membership is cancelled so that I do not get charged in a month.
I would like to receive a confirmation that my account has been removed and I am unsubscribed from the Shaw academy. I would no longer like to continue with my free trial (even though I have 26 days remaining) and I certainly do not want to pay for a membership in one month. Shaw Academy fraudulently charged my PayPal multiple times
I saw that Shaw Academy was offering free classes for 4 weeks, but you had to connect a credit card or your paypal account. After signing up, I was trying to navigate the site, and accidentally clicked on a button to find out about getting the classwork slides. Immediately they charged my Paypal account. There was no conformation, just a one click charge to the account I had linked. When I emailed them to get my money back - they could see that I had not downloaded any information, I hadn't even attended any classes (which they aren't even classes, they are just pre-recorded videos). I asked to cancel my membership right away and emailed them on Mon 3/23/2020 3:42 PM. I filled out the paperwork to cancel online, and it just took me to a screen telling me to give them a call. They responded that they would not give me my money back.
I asked for it back again. And again they refused.
Since they still had not confirmed that I wanted to cancel the membership, I once again emailed them that I wanted to cancel. On 4/10/XXXX X:XX PM I received an email saying that my membership had been cancelled. See Attachment. It read "Your membership with Shaw Academy has now been cancelled. It will be reflected within 24 hours in your account. We are sorry to see you go and we appreciate that in the current climate things can be difficult. We have seen a huge increase in the number of students who want to upskill recently, and we take our responsibility very seriously. As a result, we would like to credit your Shaw Academy account with 2 months free access completely free of charge. So that you can continue to study and achieve your goals despite having cancelled your subscription."
Today 4/20/20 they charged my Paypal the renewal fee and I cannot contact anyone in person to dispute this. I've emailed them. I can't even leave a bad review on their FB because they have reviews disabled. They are obviously all about cheating people out of their money.
I want my money back, and I want to be able to leave a review in a public place so that other people will not be scammed. I want them to disable their one click purchasing options on their website. It is not ok.

I attempted to cancel on April 15 2020 and after repeated attempts online to up-sell me I was told I had to call a number to cancel but it was out of the time range that the website listed the number was running, despite the fact that it is an automated number. I called today April 17 2020 which is the last day of my free trial and cancelled my account, but I was charged $69.99 CAD anyways. I sent a complaint email and was given a form email, ticket #XXXXXXX and told not to email again. I have not found a better way to contact a real person to ask for a refund. I never took any classes and cancelled my account within the correct time frame.
