I whole-heartedly agree with all of the other one star reviews I truly hope people research this company before being scammed out of their moneyThis company is absolutely terribleFidelity National Home Warranty is a classless business and their conduct should be considered criminalDo not under any circumstances contact this company for a warrantyYou are better off paying for a finding experts yourself, because they certainly do not contract experts

Submitted a request to have my AC fixed on a MondayIt is now Thursday evening (degrees) and still no ACTemps are in the upper 90s now but projected to be over on SaturdayWe have told them repeatedly that we have an infant daughter in the house and now they say it could be an additional 3-days just to get the partWhile I understand their interest in saving as much money for the company as possible, no one will offer us a reasonable solutionThe last agent that I spoke to literally suggested that I go to *** and puchase a small AC unit but when asked if Fidelity would pay for this, he stated that he would have to transfer me to a supervisorAsking customers to wait almost days for an AC repair when there is an infant in the home and temperatures are exceeding degrees is not only negligent but borderline criminalThey are quick to take your money and sign you up as a customer but forget about them trying to help you out in an emergencyI'm sure this service would be great if all you need is the occasional drain unclogging or lightbulb change but if you are looking for a home warranty company that will actually help you, this is NOT it!

This is the WORST home warranty you can buyDO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY I called three times, and spend minutes, minutes and minutes respectivelyThe issue was a safety one, with arcing in my garage caused by a faulty external lightI was told that the fixture wasn't covered, and therefore I would have to pay for the entire service call and repair myself (over $600)The rep told me the electricity running through the metal walls of my garage was my own problem, since it originated in the fixture and any issue caused by the fixture was void, even one of extreme fire safetyTHIS INSURANCE IS A SCAM

I filed a claim with Fidelity at the end of September for my Water HeaterI just bought a brand new home, and my water heater stopped working and starting leakingFidelity did great at getting someone out to inspect the water heater, and after that things went down hillThey called me back about days after the inspection happened and advised they would be covering the water heater cost, except for the permit fee, the code upgrade, and the debris removal which totaled about *** I told Fidelity I would have to call them back and needed them to send me a copy of my contract that I never received from them in the first placeI decided later that day it was imperative to have hot water as soon as possible, and called them back to consent to the out of pocket costsWhen I gave my consent I requested to see a copy of the permit, the code upgrade, and the debris costs due to the high out pocket expenseIt has been over weeks since I gave my consent to the out of pocket costI still have no hot water, and when Fidelity called me to discuss after I filed a status update on their website, they told me the person I gave my consent to did not log it and did not schedule the serviceBottom line is I have gone over weeks with no hot water in my homeI attempted to reach the contractor they sent out many times, with no return phone call as wellI am very unhappy with the service that this warranty providedAt ***out of pocket and a month with no hot water because someone did not schedule the service is a beyond absurd to meI probably would of been better of buying my own water heater and putting it inThey didn't cover anythingI feel that by asking them to see proof of the ridiculous cost they were asking for the lady did not file my service callUNPROFESSIONALI could of got a hot water heater for ***and paid someone to install it for *** This warranty is crap

The coverage under this policy is sub par We've had to fight with them about repairs and coverage We had a furnace replacement and the contractor they initially sent was also irresponsible He told us the replacement could not be done and we would have to completely move the unit We had to fight with Fidelity to have another contractor come out, after we had done our own independent research about what was possible We now have another issue with them regarding a water heater The charge to us is far beyond the value of the policy and the savings is negligible compared to other providers *** *** *** ** ** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ***

We had a toilet bowl crack and flood our upstairsOur insurance company resolved the damage from the flood and took the bowl for evidenceWe explained all of this to the company when we called to see if they would cover the toilet replacementAfter waiting for almost weeks for someone to come out, they refused to replace the toilet because the tank was not at our house like we had already told themI spent an hour on hold and was sent to the voicemail of a manager that never called me backI was still charged a service fee for a plumber to come out and say they had to call the company that then denied to cover the replacementIt was a complete waste of my timeIf they would have told us that it would not be covered when we first called then they would have saved us time and moneyNobody would talk to me or call me back and I still have to pay the service fee for nothingI will never go with this company again and do not recommend anyone else going with them eitherThey have no customer service and are just there to take your money and waste your time

On 8/my downstairs AC unit shut offI contacted fidelity to have a AC tech dispatchedThe tech came on 8/and ran some test and determined that my breaker had lost a leg of powerAfter pulling the breaker he found that the breaker never tripped and melted the breaker to the bus bar in the power boxThe tech moved the breaker to the bottom of the box and put a 40A instead of the recommended and previously used 30A and suggested to get an electrician Fidelity dispatched an electrician and they came on 8/he determined The bus bar and the surrounding breakers were all damaged and all he could do was move the three affected breakers down lower and couldn't replace panel due to warranty restrictionsSo now I have open breaker areas with a melted bus barI called fidelity today to try and get my panel replaced and they tell me that they wont replace it because the contract doesn't cover second hand damage caused by initial failure such as water fire etcI don't think they

I live in one of the hottest cities in the US and my air condionerroke broke a week agoNo amount of pleading with fidelity has worked to fix this prolemI have never in my life been treated so badly

Our home warranty was activated in June when we purchased our condoThe water pressure in the kitchen sink was fine at that timeLater in the year, the cold water pressure became very weakI had a plumber look at the faucet in January The plumber informed me that the water pressure was low because there was debris caught in the faucet that was blocking the cold water from coming outHe said that the only way to fix this issue was to replace the faucetI called Fidelity National Home Warranty in February to ask if this issue was coveredI told the representative that the water pressure coming out of the kitchen sink was low, and that a plumber had told me that this is due to a block in the faucet and the faucet needed to be replaced to fix the issueSHE CONFIRMED THAT THIS WOULD BE COVERED BY MY WARRANTYShe said that it would be $** to send a plumber out to first verify that the faucet would need to be replacedA replacement faucet would then be ordered and the

I had filed a complaint *** with Revdex.com but the response received from the business was not satisfactoryI had to be out of town unfortunately and could not respond back to Revdex.com complaint within the time period due to which the complaint was closed
The response received states that the service fee applies even if the warranty does not cover the repairOur contract did not have coverage for solar panelsWe however confirmed with the service rep regarding the repair and that it only involved fixing a pipe and was not on the solar or in the roofAfter initial assessment and discussions, the service was requestedWe do feel that the contract terms was misused and exploited by requesting a service for an ambiguous repair issue

My air conditioner started blowing hot air in early July of this yearFidelity has sent out vendors and they fix it the next day it's hot againI have called Fidelity for the last months and they have the worst customer serviceSupervisors do not follow up after I asked for a callThe last Supervisor *** upset me by telling me that me asking for urgent service this was not a rushPlease go on *** and look at all the bad reviews for this company and their customer service reps before you buy their warranty

This company is the absolute worst one to work withI called the beginning of January to schedule a service on my range, and an appointment was scheduled for January 16th, That one then got cancelled because of snow, and rescheduled for January 31stThe technician came out and ordered partsI was told he was going to come back out and fix it on February 8thNobody came out and no call to meI then called them and they said they were still waiting on parts, and would call when they arrivedNo call, so I called them on February 16th, and was told it would either be fixed by March 10th, or replacedIt never got fixed so I called them on March 12th, I spoke with a customer service rep, and was told that they didn't have the report to issue a replacement, and couldn't get it, and they would send somebody new out tomorrow to check with a different vendorI said this was not acceptable because it's not my fault they don't have the report, and that a replacement needs to be issued since this is going on months nowI asked him who his supervisor was and he gave me a nameI asked to be transferred to him, and was then put on holdI then was speaking with a woman who said she was the Customer Service Rep SupervisorI asked her if she knew anybody by the name that was given to me, and she didn't know who I was talking aboutThe first rep gave a name of his supervisorThey ended the call with saying that they will call me by the end of the day with an update, but that now they can't promise a replacementI hate that I have to even give them one star, when they don't even deserve that, after lying, putting the service off, and not keeping up with what they saidThey've never returned a single call so we'll see if they call by the end of the day

I asked for my money back and never got a reply backBeen over a weekI found a better place and just asking to get my money backThey have the worse customer service I ever in countedNever reply and when I wanted service and said exactly what I wanted they refused service and sent someone out anywayIt took an hrto get my money back so I am going to another company

First of all, how does this company get an A+ rating with the Revdex.com when out of reviews are negative?
Second of all, as everyone here is saying, DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY PLAN FROM FIDELITY They use horrible, inept contractors and they do not stand by their workWhen you call to get some resolution, all they do is give you the runaroundInstead of fixing the problem, they offer to submit a new work order for another service feeAlso, when I set up the initial service call, I asked to have my fireplace switch fixedThe electrician came out only to tell me that he doesn't work on those, even though it is an electrical wall switchIf not an electrician, then who?? When I called Fidelity, they said they don't fix those Well then why didn't they tell me that in the first place? Oh yes, because they wanted to take my money Terrible Bad business practices all aroundThey should be shut downCome on, Revdex.com, do your job here

I was so very disappointed with FidelityAccording to their contract, you will be charged the service fee whether the service is covered or notWhat this means is they wont tell you at the time you schedule it that it is not covered but they will still charge you a feeThey have prior knowledge that the item is not covered but they go ahead and let you have the contractor come out for nothing so that you can be charged $This is not ethical business

My double oven in my home went out and I have a home warranty bye FidelityI have been dealing with them a month before THANKS GIVING in OCTOBER and its now April and they keep giving me the run around and have had technicians over and even paid for a technician thatThey transfer me to different departments and different managers and authorization department is never open or available to speak toPlease help, I've paid hundreds of dollars on this home warranty and even more in service fees from this company and they are not replacing the department

Our upstairs A/C stopped working in March 2017, we immediately called Fidelity to make a claim to get someone out to fix itAfter call after call and wait after wait they finally send *** *** * *** out*** diagnosed the problem as being the coil and recommended replacing itIt took an additional months for them to come do the work, in which I had to call them to find out what was going on and they proceeded to ask me for the serial numbers to order an air handler (this is the first I had heard of an air handler, they did not even know what model unit I had, when they had already been here and diagnosed the issue, which then was supposedly the coil)They finally came to fix the A/C, which was May 24th While they were here they told us that the previous people that had the house wired it wrong and they needed to re-wire itTo put things in perspective, our furnace runs on GasThey and Fidelity took it upon themselves to convert our furnace from gas to electric withou

I recently bought a new Townhouse and within two weeks or so my water heater broke so I was in need to use my Home Warranty sooner then I would have likedFirst off I called Fidelity National Home Warranty with my problem and the fact the water heater is inside the house not in the garage makes it for most homeowners a number one priorityWhen filing the claim the operator took my information and told me that it is a priority and would put a rush to get someone out to fix itShe then asked for the standard co-pay that is required for each claim of $I waited all day and no call from anyone so about to hours later I called back and asked the operator for a updateThey stated that they had no "payment for my policy" and was trying to get a hold of my escrow company to see if it had been paidNO ONE called me to inform me that there were concerns regarding weather or not my policy had been paid in escrow or not BUT they took my co-paymentIf the policy was in question yo

I closed on my home September and a home warranty in the amount of $*** was funded at closingOn 9/we had to call the warranty company due to AC problems at the houseThe warranty company sent a AC contractor to repair itI paid the $** fee and he "repaired" the unitTwo and a half to three weeks later the AC was not working properly again, we could not get it to turn off to utilize the heatI called back and they wanted to charge me $** again for the sane company to come back and look at it againI had to escalate to a supervisor to dispute that feeThe supervisor then advised I should not hAve to pay $** again because it was less than daysHe arranged to have the contractor come backThe contractor text me the next morning and asked if he could come mid dayI told him no, I would be home at He said it had to be before that daySo I then asked what was his next available he told me anytime the remainder of the weekI offered two different days both at

Waited a week for somebody to replace my washing machine valvesSomebody finally shows up says yep they're are leaking he will have to call it in and come back laterThen I get a call telling me it was pre existing and not coveredThey would not refund my deductible and tried to charge me $*** to fix it
