Denied legitimate claim

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Do not use their "services" whatsoeverMy girlfriend and I purchased a home and the former owner purchased this warranty to cover the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater which range in ageTwo days after moving in the furnace broke downI called the warranty company and got the process going which was made much harder than it should've beenThey required to talk to the technician about repairs which would've been fine had I not been on hold for minutes which the tech couldn't stay for ultimately resulting in a giant waste of time and unneeded frustrationA degree week later with a week old infant in the house I finally got the tech to the house and a person on the phone at the same time which they ultimately denied my claim because the furnace was "old" despite the fact that the contract doesn't say that absolutely anywhereSince I have to replace the furnace and the warranty is suppose to cover it I begin the process of getting transferred for hours to this person or that that couldn't help us but could transfer us to someone who could (they couldn't and transferred us) which was a giant loop of being on hold for an automated menu that literally only gives you options to get someone who can't help you and transfers you to the menuThe furnace aside, the transfer/hold issue is one of the most infuriating processes I've ever been through in my entire adult lifeTo top it off I asked for a refund (another giant loop of transfers) which they then insist on taking out $for "admin fees" which is ridiculous considering I'm not charging them for all the work I missed not is the technician charging them for the 2-hours he was nice enough to waive to get the work through the warrantyThey transferred me again and again until I finally got one person who helped me and made it seem as though everyone else was purely trying to discourage me so I would just go awayOne "supervisor" I got literally talked over me the entire time which led me to tell them I'd review them on Revdex.com and she laughed about it then transferred meLong story short, this company jerked me around for a week to ultimately deny my claim all the while I have a week old infant in a cold houseIf you plan on purchasing a warranty from these people, DONT!!! Just take $out of your account and burn itYou'll get more heat from that then you'll get from them actually fixing your furnace

I called the *** 1-number and they sent me a A.CTechnician on May 12, from "Ideal Services"He came and decided that the "rotor/motor is dead and needs to be replaced"He took out pics and "promised me" that on Monday, May 14, you will have working A.CMonday 14th, he (David) called me and said, I've ordered the motor, I'll come to "INSTALL IT on May 16th"

I have an active slab leak in my homeI made a home warranty claim Friday March 10th and they sent a plumber to my home on March 13thHe said he was going to let the company know what I have a slab leak and see what they would cover and go from thereThe water is leaking up through my slab into my garageI have sent several requests for folland they keep saying they are waiting on the plumber to make a determinationdays later, and I'm still sitting with a water leak in my homeI have requested to speak to management and keep getting the run around

I experienced an electrical issue in my home and requested assistance from Fidelity in sending a contractor out to resolveThey sent out a company called *** *** and the technician did a quick inspection and said that he could either locate the issue and repair the connection but I could run the risk of it happening again in 5-years because the circuits included aluminum wiring or he could re-wire an entire section of my kitchen with better materialThe technician didn't do more than open a few receptacles and quickly concluded that the best option would be to re-wireI assumed that my Home Warranty would have covered the re-wire, so I advised him to go that routeApparently, he provided his report to Fidelity and they immediately called me to advise they would not cover it because it was considered an upgrade because my current circuitry was inadequateI declined and asked them to send the same technician back out to repair the connection based on his initial advis

Plumbing issue The first guy they sent out was just a kid, besides looking like a year old had done the repair, it lasted only a couple of days The next call we made we kindly requested they send out someone with a bit more experience They sent the same kid 2nd fix did not last but a day It is now spewing water into the air, not just the leak that it was when we originally called in for service we have had to shut the water off we have now been told that the contractor will not come back and the warranty company says that the repair is not covered and that the original service should not have been done and now won't cover to have the fix - fixed asked to speak to supervisor/management - they will not budge, we are stuck

I want to start by saying that *** from the *** office has tried to help meThe authorization department for Fidelity, however, has treated me with disrespect every time I have contacted themI have tried to explain my situation every time I have called and every time I am told the same thing- that my ac is missing a drier filter and they have denied my claim- twiceThe original ac company that was sent out was not very experienced- they opened my ac unit and fixed a capacitor but didn’t tell me there wasn’t a filter drierIt broke within hours and when they returned, they said there was no filter drier and fidelity denied it so nothing was fixedI didn’t even know what a filter drier was- so I started doing researchI called several certified technicians and researched information online- all of which was shared with Fidelity- that older units like mine did not always have them installed- and *** got them to send a new fantastic ac company outThey recommended a new

Our dishwasher went out well our house was under home waranty with Fidelity They dispatched a repair person from Sears The repair person inspected the unit, left and charged Fidelity $A day later the unit stopped working again and we reopened the claim Fidelity sent a Sears repair technician out again who diagnosed the issue and left He gave us a bill for $and told us that we needed to handle the rest We called Fidelity and reported this and they made us wait a week before telling us they couldn't help us without sending out another repair technicianWe are extremely dissatisfied with the service we have received through Fidelity and will not be renewing our home warranty with them

I have been on the phone with fidelity home warranty for over weeks because my entire AC unit is tokenMy home is located in *** *** and is over degrees every single dayI have been on hold for 30-minutes 3x per day and hung up on of the 3-times per day before even reaching a person and on hold for 20+ minutesI have submitted all required documentation within mins of them requesting itI’ve hadn’t supervisors on the phone and every time they say we are moving forward they request something beenThis week alone I’ve spent hours on the phone with fidelity to get absolutely nowhereI am exhaustedMy AC is still broken and it’s degrees in the house dailyAnd everyone’s getting sickFidelity doesn’t careI’ve done everything right and been on top of the ballThis company is immoral and corruptThey disgust me

Fidelity dispatched a *** *** to diagnose a slab leak in our homeFidelity paid *** *** over $*** for the service (which was deducted from our insured limit of ***)*** *** refused to provide us with a written report of their diagnosis so that we could proceed with a claim on our homeowner's insuranceAs a result, we have been unable to move forward for the last two weeks and the leak under our home is growing worseWe requested a credit back from Fidelity for what they paid *** so that we can engage another plumber to properly perform a diagnosis and write a report for our insurance companyFidelity has refused to pay, citing that they already paid the vendorTheir dispute is with their vendor, not with meMy funds were used to pay for a service that I did not receive, and I am formally requesting a credit back from Fidelity

This company does not value your time and zero integrityOwner and management are not good peopleThey allow there company to treat people with no respect

This is a typical insurance company They want your money and take their time paying for anything if at all
Watch your contract closely as they use it regularly to get out of payments
Each service call will cost you $
Moved into our house in June, had a home inspection done prior to buying the house In August the AC gave out It took two months to finally get the AC replaced and that was after they challenged my home inspection and gave the contractor so much grief for not fixing the issue the way THEY thought it should be repaired
You have to call or go online to ask for service It can take them up to two days to even contact a contractor and probably another two days to get service
My well pump quit and so I called a contractor myself and he was able to come out the next morning and replaced the pump Fidelity would not pay for the service or the new pump even though it was covered just because I didn't contact them first
This company is a money grabbing sham I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

On 11/1/17, I filed a claim via Fidelity Natl Home Warnty re breakdown of my refrigerator, and asked that it be considered urgentThey sent a technician from Advantage Appliance Services who appeared that day, did some screw tightening, received my $cheque (no fix achieved), called yesterday (out of the blue) wanting to come out when I was at work and won't come today, because it is a weekendMy food refrigerator is not fixed until nowObviously, company does not have any idea about the impact of a functioning refrigerator is on people's health and livesI am hoping to have all my payments to Fidelity reimbursed and cancel the contract with themCan any other reader give me further advise? With my experience with Fidelity I am beginning to think that it may not be worth paying for home warranty

I placed a service call for garage door - the springs and the pull-wire broke and needed replacementOnly mechanical partsAll electrical parts were good and fully functional including the motor, keypads, opener button and remote clickers, all by brand ***The technician from *** Garage Door Sw came and said he would fix it no problemWhen he came back with the parts and finished the job - I was devastatedAll electrical parts were replaced by new system called ***, he advised me that he did me a favor replacing the motor and this new motor is far superior to ***But not compatible with any other systems, including universal openers, etcHe charged me $extra for wall button as he stated HW doesn't cover it and its not compatible with new motorWhy do I have to pay for this if it didn't need to be changed as well as the motor 0- it is not optional accessory, it is part of operating system!!! Keypad started malfunctioning in daysI checked the *** company on

I closed on a home in Tucson a couple weeks ago, choosing Fidelity over others that I'd had poor experiences with My real estate agent recommended Fidelity Tonight is our first freezing temp night, so I turned on my heat some hours ago to discover it wasn't working I've been back-n-forth with Fidelity to hear that (although it's 'expedited') I should hear from someone within hours * *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** * *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * * * *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** ** * *** *** *** *** * * *

Completely incompetent home Warranty Company Their client support team is offensive and arguementative They don’t resolve the issues and won’t return calls I highly recommend using another Home Warranty Company and as a Realtor I’d be happy to recommend other companies

I received a phone call from his company to renew a warranty contractThe agreement was that the money would be debited from my account on the first day of the month only! This was explicitly explained and agreed-upon in a recorded phone callDate of the phone call was March at 3:PM Central daylight TimeIs soon as I hung up at the end of the conversation this company debited my account causing it to be overdrawn which occurred in overdraft fee

Our home had a leak in our garageWe contacted the company to repair itMy wife and I are first time homeownersWe didn't have a clear understanding of the lingo that the customer service rep was usingWe would later regret thisThe company that Fidelity sent was difficult to schedule an appointment withWhen a date was finally selected they never showedMy wife called them at pm and they were running two hours lateWe cancelled since it was so late in the day and we had other plansThe repair was eventually made but the cement that was laid was a "rough patch" which means rocks were dropped in thr cementThet left a hole in the wallMy wife called Fidelity to discuss her concernsShe was told that we were told it was a rough patch and it did not have to match our garageHad we been told the poor quality in advance we would have paid tbe differenceAs for the hole we were transferred to a different department to have them issue us a check to cover the repairWe would b

We have a property which we own at*** *** *** *** *** ** *** We had an inspection on the property before purchase and they did not find any "damage" to our AC UnitWhen the AC unit stopped working, we called in to Fidelity Home WarrantyThey sent *** ** *** ** *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** (who has a star yelp review with all the same type of complain as mine) out who spent about minutes at the property, said it's damaged and leftFidelity says they cannot cover it because it broke from "damage." The AC is not damagedWe called another REPUTABLE AC Company, and pay out of pocket for them to look at itThey find that the unit is not working propertyThey found the compressor is very weak and the system has a low chargeThe fins for condenser coil had deteriorated over the years DUE TO AGEPrice of repairs to be $3,and labor $1,We called Fidelity and conference called in the AC tech with them as wellThey agreed during the phon

I would never recommend Fidelity National Home Warranty! What absolutely terrible service! My air conditioner broke in June and it is now October and the unit still needs to be fixed My family spend many 100+ degree days this summer without air conditioning because of Fidelity's inability to move the claim forward I have waited on hold with their authorizations department for over forty minutes on two occasions before finally giving up on the call TIP: submit questions in their online form late at night - the graveyard shift employees actually respond quickly! Fidelity has sent the same company, Rose Heating and Air, out three times to take the exact same measurements and write up the same evaluation of the problem Rose Heating and Air told me that they refused to do the work, then wrote up a "proposal" that they wanted me to sign charging me $to install smoke alarms that I already have! I've been in tears on the phone with Fidelity's customer service trying to get someone to take action with Rose Heating and Air and was only told that they could transfer me to "authorizations," to wait on the line for 40+ minutes I finally got Rose Heating and Air to take off the fraudulent $charge and they are still charging me $to connect the condensate drain line to the new evaporator coil When I asked the Fidelity rep if this was a legit charge, he only responded that Fidelity didn't pay for it Really?!?
