The coverage under this policy is sub par We've had to fight with them about repairs and coverage We had a furnace replacement and the contractor they initially sent was also irresponsible He told us the replacement could not be done and we would have to completely move the unit We had to fight with Fidelity to have another contractor come out, after we had done our own independent research about what was possible We now have another issue with them regarding a water heater The charge to us is far beyond the value of the policy and the savings is negligible compared to other providers *** *** *** ** ** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ***

We had a toilet bowl crack and flood our upstairsOur insurance company resolved the damage from the flood and took the bowl for evidenceWe explained all of this to the company when we called to see if they would cover the toilet replacementAfter waiting for almost weeks for someone to come out, they refused to replace the toilet because the tank was not at our house like we had already told themI spent an hour on hold and was sent to the voicemail of a manager that never called me backI was still charged a service fee for a plumber to come out and say they had to call the company that then denied to cover the replacementIt was a complete waste of my timeIf they would have told us that it would not be covered when we first called then they would have saved us time and moneyNobody would talk to me or call me back and I still have to pay the service fee for nothingI will never go with this company again and do not recommend anyone else going with them eitherThey have no customer service and are just there to take your money and waste your time

I have had nothing but difficulty with this comp\any who can take *** for a year's warranty but cannot deliver servicesI have been on hold with this company three times for more than minutes at a time to be told that a service person cannot attend to my air conditioner for days

My husband and I put in a service request for our refrigerator which was not dispensing water and leaking when we tried to dispense waterThe service men that were sent did not fix the problemWhen I called Fidelity to express and resolve my frustration of missing a whole day of work for this, possible water damage to my floor, and possibly getting sick fro the service man who claimed he may have the flu, they only offered to send out a different tech from the same companyI then expressed that I would like a different company with no service charge to me, and the gentleman refused to send another company

Warranty is not worth the paper it is written onTrip charge is $which is fine but the venders they have on call are ill prepared and trainedHad their HVAC person state that the electrical power is the issue when an GFI was trippedminutes later, after I had a discussion with the gentlemen he realized that I was an EE and could lie to me and get away from an issueThree trips later and two service company later they decided that it is in their best interest to call the heater as a lost cause and need to replaceInteresting thing is that they call the customer and state that they can offer little money for the replacement and they make the customer pay for the installation chargesThey call it an modification fee, since the unit they are installing is nothing like the unit that was previously installedCrooked company and hope that anyone who has this warranty does not have the same issues

I closed on my home September and a home warranty in the amount of $*** was funded at closingOn 9/we had to call the warranty company due to AC problems at the houseThe warranty company sent a AC contractor to repair itI paid the $** fee and he "repaired" the unitTwo and a half to three weeks later the AC was not working properly again, we could not get it to turn off to utilize the heatI called back and they wanted to charge me $** again for the sane company to come back and look at it againI had to escalate to a supervisor to dispute that feeThe supervisor then advised I should not hAve to pay $** again because it was less than daysHe arranged to have the contractor come backThe contractor text me the next morning and asked if he could come mid dayI told him no, I would be home at He said it had to be before that daySo I then asked what was his next available he told me anytime the remainder of the weekI offered two different days both at

I whole-heartedly agree with all of the other one star reviews I truly hope people research this company before being scammed out of their moneyThis company is absolutely terribleFidelity National Home Warranty is a classless business and their conduct should be considered criminalDo not under any circumstances contact this company for a warrantyYou are better off paying for a finding experts yourself, because they certainly do not contract experts

Fidelity National Home Warranty is a scamTheir customer service is rude and dishonest and will do everything in their power to deny a claim The plumbing company that they sent out to fix my water heater was a below average company with poor ratings and they failed to fix my heater Fidelity would not send them out again Do not for any reason send them your inspection report Their customer service rep said they needed it to authorize further work which was incorrect and not in line with their contract Avoid this company at all costs I have never encountered such an unprofessional and dishonest company SCAM!!!!

I hold a Fidelity Home WarrantyWhen my dishwasher broke, I reached out to FidelityThey had a vendor contact me, and several days later he arrived (late) to examine the dishwasherHe departed and said he would order the partThat was a FridayThe following week I called the vendor to check the status of my repairHis rep was unaware of my existenceAfter some time, the rep then told me the part was available and the repair would be done FridayThat Friday the vendor did not show or callHe was unreachable by phoneI contacted Fidelity, who managed to reach the vendor through "back lines." The vendor claimed the part had not arrived and that the appointment for that day was a mistakeThe repair was rescheduled for the following weekThe following week, the vendor again did not show or callI contacted Fidelity, who managed to reach the vendor after several hoursThe vendor claimed the part "was unavailable for pickup" despite it only being around 3pmWhen I requested more details, such as why it was unavailable or when had it been ordered, Fidelity could not provide any detailsThe repair was rescheduled for the following MondayThat Monday the vendor once again did not show or callI contacted Fidelity, who claimed they were unable to reach the vendor but left a messageSeveral hours later, the vendor called and once again claimed the part was unavailableHe rescheduled the repair for WednesdayAt that point, I contacted Fidelity and requested a new vendorFidelity informed me they would not do so as the part had been ordered (I doubt it had) and they could only offer me a "buy out" to perform the repair myselfAfter weeks of delays and a disgusting lack of professionalism, the best that a national company could offer was the cost of the partFidelity had no interest in customers or their timeIt employs hack vendors who can't be bothered to even make a one minute phone callDo not under any circumstances spend one cent on this companyIt is a plague that will waste your time

Worst customer service I've experienced in my entire life They require you to pay a $service fee each time you request a technician, but they don't diagnose anything so you either pay it again the next time it breaks or you pay out of pocket to have it fixed by a 3rd party You can't trust anything they say...we were told they would give us a second opinion at no cost and then sent us a $bill and called it a "labor charge" We paid over $in service fees for them to never fix anything, huge waste of money AFTER already paying your annual contract fee! DO NOT USE THEM!

The work is no good they fix things and they break agin I have had the knobs fix on my bath tub 5x and I have had to pay for the job over and over I have not been able to use my shower since October its march almost 5months The walls in my shower were intact when job started they started fixing shower *** wile they were doing job I had wall in shower torn down and replace.the contractor felt it would be better to do job with wall torn down but did not tell me he took so long to do the job a mouth wall were fix then they say the could not do the job all the walls were there and that I would have to have the contractor Tear Down the Wall again and take the wall out so that they could finish the job but the ball was not torn down when they started the job this was completely unfair to make me pay to have my wall taken out when I my contractor gave them a timely amount of time and it took them a month to come back and fix the wall in the wall have been repaired my contractor

It has been six weeks since I filed a complaint on my refrigerator ice maker and door seal I have not had any action on the complaint The Fidelity plumber is no help and I wait over an hour to get customer service on the phone I recently renewed my policy and I feel extremely cheated This company is a sham DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM For starters, if you read the policy there are more household exclusions than covered items Read the list of exclusions carefully before you insure No one cares at FidelityBottom line, I have gone most of the summer without a fully functioning refrigerator and nothing is being done

I placed an order regarding my cook-top operation on Jun and the technician came on site on Jun We have waited for more than hours to meet the technicianAfter examination, the technician believed a malfunction part caused a signal on the control panel, which shows incorrect light on the panel saying the cook-top is onHis diagnosis is to replace that part and filed the reportHowever, Fidelity National Home Warranty Plan company customer service doesn't agree it and doesn't honor this repair requestWe have to pay the service fee of 75$ for this un-repair issue and we will have to use the cook-top unsafely everyday

I had a problem where my air conditioning was not operating properly, in that it would only go on for a few minutes before shutting offI scheduled an appointment through Fidelity on a Friday evening and continued to try and diagnose the problemI discovered an error code indicating a fault thermometer in the system that was causing the system to prematurely shut downOn Monday I received a call from *** *** and they asked several questions about the units and scheduled the interviewI told them the system that I had and asked if they serviced it and told them about the suspected thermometer problemWhen the repairman arrived , he spent only minutes verifying that the error code I had indicated was indeed being triggered and leftI was then informed by Fidelity that the repair would not be covered since the thermometer was part of a zone control system, despite the fact that its failure was causing the air conditioner to not workOn top of everything else, they still cha

The sub-zero fridge in our house sprung a leak two months into the warranty period on our new home (Fidelity National Home Warranty)After calling Fidelity, they initially assigned us to one provider who had a one star rating over timesI called to complain and we were switched to another Fidelity conspirator, *** *** *** ***They sent out a repair guy who was entirely clueless and absolutely reeked of cigarettesIt was as if he just smoked a full pack in the truck before knocking on the doorWhen he came in to take a look, he proceeded to tell me that we did NOT have a water leak in the fridgeThis is despite the fact that the leak stopped when the valve to the water line to the fridge was turned offHe squirted some silicone in a corner and said if that did not fix it, then it would be an issue with the insulation, which true to the conspiratorial form between *** *** *** ***and Fidelity, leads to a decision that future work is not cover

We have a home warranty with this companyWe opened a service ticket for an inoperable oven in March, It is now September, still no working oven, several e-mails to the company, phone calls and we simply cannot get this resolvedOur warranty comes up in October, and I'm sure this has become a delay tactic to avoid having to pay a repair bill!! I have been hung up on repeatedly after being told I was being transferred to a supervisorThe wait time to talk to anyone is never short of thirty minutesYour website has hundreds of horrible reviews, all one star - only because you have to select at least one I'm sure! And, you rate them an A+After I wrote a review, I read several others, all the same story as mineThis company feels like a complete scam

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Do not use their "services" whatsoeverMy girlfriend and I purchased a home and the former owner purchased this warranty to cover the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater which range in ageTwo days after moving in the furnace broke downI called the warranty company and got the process going which was made much harder than it should've beenThey required to talk to the technician about repairs which would've been fine had I not been on hold for minutes which the tech couldn't stay for ultimately resulting in a giant waste of time and unneeded frustrationA degree week later with a week old infant in the house I finally got the tech to the house and a person on the phone at the same time which they ultimately denied my claim because the furnace was "old" despite the fact that the contract doesn't say that absolutely anywhereSince I have to replace the furnace and the warranty is suppose to cover it I begin the process of getting transferred for hours to this person or that that couldn't help us but could transfer us to someone who could (they couldn't and transferred us) which was a giant loop of being on hold for an automated menu that literally only gives you options to get someone who can't help you and transfers you to the menuThe furnace aside, the transfer/hold issue is one of the most infuriating processes I've ever been through in my entire adult lifeTo top it off I asked for a refund (another giant loop of transfers) which they then insist on taking out $for "admin fees" which is ridiculous considering I'm not charging them for all the work I missed not is the technician charging them for the 2-hours he was nice enough to waive to get the work through the warrantyThey transferred me again and again until I finally got one person who helped me and made it seem as though everyone else was purely trying to discourage me so I would just go awayOne "supervisor" I got literally talked over me the entire time which led me to tell them I'd review them on Revdex.com and she laughed about it then transferred meLong story short, this company jerked me around for a week to ultimately deny my claim all the while I have a week old infant in a cold houseIf you plan on purchasing a warranty from these people, DONT!!! Just take $out of your account and burn itYou'll get more heat from that then you'll get from them actually fixing your furnace

We have had to rely on this company twice now for major repairs in our homeBoth times have been a complete disasterFirst cold front this year our furnace went out we had contractors out and found out it needed to be replacedAfter speaking with Fidelity they supposedly ordered the parts, two weeks later we were told we never "okayed" the amount we'd have to pay, so parts were never ordered(This came as a surprise to us seeing as we'd called and spoke to multiple people in purchasing about when the parts would be delivered in the weeks prior.) Finally, after demanding to speak to someone who could give answers, and going back and forth for another couple weeks the problem was resolved and our furnace was replaced near the end of winterNow for the second time, during the beginning of June our AC started giving us trouble so we called and they sent the contractor out who said it needed to be replacedAfter submitting everything Fidelity called and told us the amount we'd have to pay for "modifications" we approved it and they said the order was being placed and should take 3-business days to receiveAfter calling both the contractor and Fidelity, over business days later we were told that they could not see the exact date of delivery because it was on a truck, should be a couple more daysA few days later we call again and we are then told that the reason it's taken so long is because an essential part had been on back order and they needed the okay to order another part in its placeThis is now two weeks after we were told the order was placed and would be received by the contractor in at most business daysAlso the first time we've heard of anything being on back orderMy fiancé and I both have called multiple times asking to speak to a supervisorWe've both been hung up on atleast once and he's been told twice that a supervisor would follow up with him and never received a call backNot once have we received an apology, in fact every time we ask how this will be taken care of the only option we are given is for them to give us a check to find a different contractor ourselvesMeanwhile it's July 2nd we are going on almost a month now with a two year old and a dog in the house with no AC in TexasOn top of the $we will be paying for this to be fixed we also had to spring for a window unit so that atleast one room in our home is bearable (The rest of our house is degrees btw)

Terrible service by the vendors and Fidelity takes zero responsibility for the vendors they send to the house! My kitchen refrigerator is broken and ** placed the "RUSH" request for me with *** ***After the technician visited the house and inspected the fridge - it took them days to file a report saying that *** authorized technician is required for this repairWhy send unauthorized vender on the first place??? I keep calling ** to remedy the situation and all get from your company is 20+ min hold times then dropped callsFinally I managed to talk to **, they said their dispatch is looking for authorized dealer to schedule an appointment to come see the fridgeThe dispatch is looking for that person for TWO DAY now** refuses to give any time estimate for finding a repairman, obviously than it will be more time until actual appointment, then ordering the partsAND ITS ALREDY BEEN WEEK WITHOT FRIDGEIT IS SUMMER AND 90F HERE - MY FAMILY with kids NEEDS REF

Very bad experienceI called Fidelity National Home Warranty to get help for my pipe like on Sunday, May 20, I told them that there is no water in the house and asking them rush serviceHowever, there is no one ready to help me, I called five times, every time their response is "we are finding the vendorwait until we found some one"There is a lot of venders in our area but they are not willing to pay rush service Five of the customer service representative who I spoke them were very disrespectful, careless, and unprofessionalJust they would like to give you order instead of helpI asked to speak the manager, they are not willing to transfer the phone to their managerThey told me the Manager will call me, but no one calling meI was very disappointed; I never experienced the worst experience like thisNo more Fidelity National Home Warranty!!!!
