They take your service fees, the work done made matters worseThey won't do anything to help! Friday 3/11/I called to file a claim for a plumbing issue I had with my kitchen sinkThe company they sent out snaked the drain & stated they could not find the reason for the issueSunday morning 3/13/my house is worse than before the company came outMy toilets won't flush, water is coming up the shower drainsSo I proceed to call the home warranty company & let them know my house is way worse than beforeThe lady was so rude & im very calmly trying to tell her the issue now wasn't here until the other company did workShe informs me I would have to pay another fee & wait for someone to come out againThat's all the information I was givenThe 2nd company comes out today & informed me since I don't have a cleanout outside the house they can't perform the workThat would have been great to know ahead of time so I could have hired someone to do the work myse

For almost years I have been a loyal customer of this companySince the day we have moved in, we have continued to have the same issue with our a/c unit, times to be exactEach time they will come out bandage it together and cross their fingers it worksThey have continued to refuse to replace the unitI have paid an additional $*** in service fees on top of my annual co tract amount to not have my warranty company fix an issue for more than an average of 3-monthsRegrettably my only recourse at this time is filling a complaint with the Revdex.com *** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** * ***Hopefully someone reads this and remidies this problem so others don’t waste their money thinking their warrranty company is goi g to do anything other than the bear minimum they need to do

Fidelity is the WORST company I think I've ever dealt withI just paid for my second contract with them, and I wish I hadn't*** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** *** **It should be fined for running a scam operationI contacted Fidelity early on a Friday morning as I had no water pressure in my kitchen or bathroomI was told someone would contact me ASAPBy Saturday, no one had contacted me, so I called Fidelity againBy this time, I had no water in my kitchenI was told that I could contact the company myself and submit a claim laterI contacted the company they "dispatched" which advertised themselves as being 24-hour, emergency serviceI didn't get a call backOn Monday, I was finally contacted by someoneThey came out, pulled giant pieces of plastic from the system and said I needed a new water heaterI then received a call from Fidelity telling me they needed to send an electrician out to install something so the water heater could be replacedThey didn't give me

Every single time I need to use their services it is a painful experienceThe latest is that I had a full sewer stoppage and they were not able to find an emergency plumberThey then authorized me to find my own plumberI scrambled and found someone (at this point I had already clocked hours on the phone with them)Once the estimate was done and the plumber was already working, they said, great you have someone that could come on a Sunday, but we only pay our rate, good luckI am now stuck with the majority of that bill

I had a contract with *** *** *** *** and requested a service visit for broken tiles on the roof of my houseWhen submitting the work order there was no option for broken tiles, so when I received a call to setup the visit to my house I asked if it was a valid requestI was not aware at the time that the gentleman representing *** at that time was a contractor, and was not trained in the Plan policy
I was told by the contractor that he has replaced tiles before and that it shouldn’t be a problemHe came out to the house days later and spent less than minutes at my house to look at the broken tiles, and then Ingot a call back from *** days later being told that broken tiles are never covered by the Plan, only the repair of what is underneathI explained that my roof did not have a leak and that I specifically told this to the contractor, and I was told that this shouldn’t have even been a valid request
About a week later I received a bill f

We recently moved in to a new homeWe discovered a leak in the tub when it fills with waterThe water is going around a drain and dripping through a light downstairsWe contacted Fidelity National to get someone out and take a lookThey sent a local company called ML PlumbingThe plumber tells me there is a rubber gasket missing and he has to drill a hole through the wall or tub to put the gasket inThe plumber calls Fidelity and reports the issue Fidelity contacts us shortly after their phone call with the plumberThey inform us that they will not cover this repair because it is considered a missing partWhat's the point of home insurance then??? The gasket is supposed to be behind the wall, how could anyone remove it? The house was sold to us in this condition but we are getting zero help from them in fixing the problemThe best part is, we were informed that if we don't get the problem fixed, they will cease to cover any other claims in the futureTo add insult to injury, the plumbing company that they sent out to look at the problems is subparThey kept threatening to make claims about other issues so we would have to pay out of pocketThe company probably makes more that wayI did my due diligence on the plumbing company and found that many other folks in my area had the same experience with this contractorFidelity Home National is a scam

The warranty salesperson and a customer service personell told me that all garage and gate openers are coveredBoth items I had explicitly asked about and the salesperson said they were coveredCommercial gate openers are typically installed on large gates on homesHowever, when I placed a claiim Fedelity stated over the phone to me that they do not include gate openers since it's a commercial motors and gate motorNone of this was properly disclosed and I was directly lied toAlso, they sent out a terrible contractor who was looking to do more work than just the part itselfHe said the part does not exist and needs to change the motor for $***I canceled my insurance with FidelityI had explicitly asked them which portion of their contract excludes this and they pointed to a section (Limits of Liability #7) that is very ambigousI think they denied they claim wrongfully as soon as they relized that the cost was $***I later called the number on the gate motor and ordered t

I purchased fidelity national home warranty policy when I bought my house, *** * *** *** *** ** ***After I moved, I found out that the buimicrowave light was broken and the metal round top in the microwave was missing, so my family is highly likely exposed those radiation from the microwave and also possess a very high risk of fire due to this defectAnd also, gas range stopped workingI called fidelity on 9/9/and reported those two problems and made service requestThe technician came by on 9/13/and checked the microwave and gas range, and reported to fidelity but did not do any repair and informed me not to use the microwave because it may cause fire and release radiationSo I waited for the fidelity responseOn 9/16/16, Fidelity sent technicians and they place the top round metal inside microwave but they did not fix the microwave light, and they looked at the gas range only but could not repair any on gas rangeSince then until now, I have NOT heard

horrible company Chooses to put personal profits over whats right to do Had to have a plumbing line repaired times in months but they continue to assert that the line itself is in good working order and thus unwilling to replace the line Customer service supervisors are unwilling to answer difficult questions and literally just state "please refer to your contract for additional questions"

I just got off thr phone call with fidelity authorization department about a previous work order they said is not covered as electrical fixtures are not covered The contract clearly says 'all parts and components that affect operation' is covered The ballast is part and parcel of the fluorescent electrical system and does voltage transformation the person on the other end of the phone line said it is a fixture and so not coveredit seems fideity has so worded its customer contracts that it intrprets its meaning the way it wants and misleads the customers the agent asked me where does it say that the ballast is covered in the contract I told him its essential part of the electrical cirtcuitry and affects the operation of the lights but agent said, we are talking in cicles and said we cannot proceed furtheri strongly suggest people not to choose fidelity for their warranty needs

I have contacted Fidelity Home Warranty multiple times over the last year for repairs at our homeI am not sure if its due to company policy or because of fraudulent contractors but the service people show up at my door without tools, look at the issue and then tell me its not coveredOne plumber didn't even bother calling in the item that needed to be repaired(Our earthquake valve was shutting off the gas to our house every minutes, he then told me it was $*** for him to fix it, my plumber fixed it for $***) I was then quoted prices from the people that showed up that were 4-5x what my plumber and electrician charged me when I paid for the repair myselfIn the last repair call I placed, I was told by the plumber that he could not complete the repair if the connection between my hot water heater and hot water line was not leaking but that the work should be doneI was told by my own plumber that I should have the work done (he is the one who suggestion my home warranty shoul

Called to request plumbing service that is covered under my warrantyThe rep who took my call said that I had to pay for the service immediately on the phonePreviously I have always paid the service vendor directly after the service was completeI informed the Fidelity rep and she told me that it is policy now that I have to pay at the time of my callThe plumber came and said he cannot fix the issueWhen I called Fidelity to request a refund because service was never completed, the rep in the authorization deptsaid that the plumber said he couldn't fix b/c he cut open the wall & found moldThe plumber never cut open any walls! The plumber is *** ***I informed the Fidelity rep & he didn't believe what I saidIt is my house & I was present when the plumber came & know he did not cut anything in my house! I even offered to send photos as proofThe rep continued to dispute what I said & sided with the plumber's versionAdditionally, I requested a ref

I placed a service call for warranty work but advised by the repair man that it will not be covered under warranty after allStill paid service feeOn 03-31-our garage door broke and we called fidelity for warranty repairThe repair guy came out and said the issue was not covered under warrantyAlright, so we paid him fix it regardless because its brokennext We called Fidelity to get a refund for the $service fee because it wasn't a warranty item and was advised they would not refund because the repair guy made location and assessed the issue alreadyThe service rep said to refer to the warranty document (we were never given) where it "clearly" states no refunds if a repair guy makes location and assesses the issueHowever, the only document we received from fidelity was a list of covered items but nothing about "no refunds if the repair guy says its not covered under warranty"We would have made a better informed decision on the use of our warranty service had we known

Moved in on Thursday & discovered the fridge/freezer had brokenI lost hundreds of dollars of frozen foodThe previous homeowner had filed a claim for the fridge before I bought it, and said it was repaired at the close of escrowI have called Fidelity several timesThey offer nothing for food spoilageThey do not offer a temporary fridge eitherThe claim on this was from early August, as I understand itI'm now being told that the fridge cannot be repaired until September That is about a two-month turnaround for a home to have no fridge, yet has a home warranty that covers the fridgeThat is unacceptableToday I was told the previous owner has already had several claims on this same fridge in the pastThe fridge is unreliable (online reviews even show this) and needs to be replacedOther Home Warranty companies will replace after several attempts at fixingFidelity says they will only repairToday they said the only other option they can offer is to "cash out" and

I've been waiting a week for Fidelity National Home Warranty to fix the A/C on my tenant's house I've called almost every day and they tell me that they are waiting for reports from the A/C company I call the A/C company and they stated that they already sent the reports Meanwhile, my tenant is very upset at me because it's mid summer in Phoenix and it's in the 100's I keep getting bounced back and forth between them and the A/C company But, Fidelity is ultimately responsibly to get the job done
Every time I call in, it's over a minute wait to connect to an attendant Then they tell me that there are no notes in the system, but they promise to fix the problem But, they don't So I call back again, wait a half hoursame promises, but no action
So, this week I get the paperwork to re-new the contract with them Hmmm, I don't think so

On August I filed a claim for a non-operable A/C unitOn August 21, a service tech was dispatchedOn September I received an email from the warranty company that the issue should have been repairedIt is now September and not only has it not been repairedI have a wife, two young children and two dogs, and it is summer in DallasThe negligence is so egregious I can't even articulate itI called two A/C companies and was told they could get the part and repair this issue in hoursI understand that with a home warranty there are a few more steps to go through for a repair, but I think one week is the maximum for something as serious as A/C in summer in TexasThere should be red flags that pop up in their system for them to contact their customers and advise them and work out alternative arrangementsInstead, they just plowed along and let me call a half dozen times and never fully disclose the issue or suggest alternatives

We were thrilled when we received the Home Warranty policy as a gift from our RealtorWe didn't have many problems that first yearThe website kept locking me out of my account, and they kept telling me it was my errorThen, we got the renewal notice and it was $more than the Realtor had paid for it originallyWe figured that the Realtor had gotten a deal on it or something and paid it in installmentsLess than a week later, our water heater sprung a leak and was spewing water all over our garageI called FNHW and they said they couldn't give me a time frame, but that they would call me to let me knowminutes went by, minutes went by, and my Dad finally stepped in and called Rotor Rooter who was here within minutesWe ended up having to pay the $service fee anywayNo one ever calledI had to cancel it over the internetThen our microwave broke and we called back to see if they would transfer that $to the new service order because they didn't make good on that original callThey didI talked to the representative, telling her that my account said that I owed $75, but she said to ignore it and it was saying that the service fee was $(which is what it originally was anyway)I just received a 'Fee Past Due' bill of $and they REFUSE to credit that to my accountIf I want to cancel the policy they are going to take a $cancellation fee, plus any money THEY have had to pay out on our behalfSo, now I can't even get my money back and find a different Home Warranty provider until next yearYou better believe we are going to pay the darn $and next year (right away) find a different companyI am so disappointed with them

We had an improperly installed valve on a bathroom water pipe burstWe also had a leaking P-trap that was a code violation (plastic plumbing is not allowed in *** ***)All of this was surrounded by more plumbing that was starting to leakOur (not Fidelity's) plumber came immediately and fixed it well enough so that it was no longer an emergency on a SundayWe submitted a request to FidelityThe assigned plumber didn't call for days, and after I called him, we played phone tag for more daysWhen he finally arrived, he looked at the plumbing, agreed that it needed to be replaced, and agreed that the work was improperly doneAbout minutes later, a Fidelity rep calledThe rep was incredibly combative, telling us that none of our plumbing was coveredThey had somehow deemed this was not "wear and tear" and so it was not coveredI pulled the contract out and pointed to the "code violations" section as well as "improper installation." They countered by saying imp

Place a request for fixing one of the cooktop burnerIt took more than weeks before they send a person to fix itThe person they sent was in-efficient and left the place leaving all other burners brokenTried calling Fidelity but they turned down me, mentioning they cannot do anythingWill get back once we get a reportI am not renewing the contract with this company anymore

days after making a claim for a covered refrigerator my refrigerator is still not repairedFirst referred repair company could not come out for almost a week, second no-showed the appointment, third diagnosed and ordered parts but is not providing any updates on parts status and won't return my or Fidelity's calls for information/statusForth was referred but Fidelity cancelled that one because "parts are on order"Just how long should it take to repair a refrigerator?
