I first made work order #*** on May 11, to repair a washing machineThe repair man that was issued my case would not answer my calls/texts until I called Fidelity to complain and get a new repair manHe immediately called me and set up the first appointmentThe first time he came he said I needed a new clutch and motorA month went by before he was able to get the parts and returnTwo weeks ago when he came the second time he could not replace the broken parts because he couldn't get a bolt looseHe even used a hammer to beat it trying to break the boltThe only thing that happened was to make a mess and beat up the inside of the tubI've tried multiple times to call the company and find out why it isn't repaired and what is going to happenUnfortunately, after waiting hours on the phone no one will answerI paid this repairman $** two months ago to repair this washing machine and it's still not fixed

We recently moved in to a new homeWe discovered a leak in the tub when it fills with waterThe water is going around a drain and dripping through a light downstairsWe contacted Fidelity National to get someone out and take a lookThey sent a local company called ML PlumbingThe plumber tells me there is a rubber gasket missing and he has to drill a hole through the wall or tub to put the gasket inThe plumber calls Fidelity and reports the issue Fidelity contacts us shortly after their phone call with the plumberThey inform us that they will not cover this repair because it is considered a missing partWhat's the point of home insurance then??? The gasket is supposed to be behind the wall, how could anyone remove it? The house was sold to us in this condition but we are getting zero help from them in fixing the problemThe best part is, we were informed that if we don't get the problem fixed, they will cease to cover any other claims in the futureTo add insult to injury, the plumbing company that they sent out to look at the problems is subparThey kept threatening to make claims about other issues so we would have to pay out of pocketThe company probably makes more that wayI did my due diligence on the plumbing company and found that many other folks in my area had the same experience with this contractorFidelity Home National is a scam

In Nov *** *** was sent to fix my ice makerThey came out times between November and January and never fixed the problemWe were billed $** for this serviceWe contacted Fidelity and told them the we still had the same problemThis time they sent out *** *** insteadAnytime immediately identified the problem and fixed itI then received another $** chargeFidelity should have let me know they were going to charge me additional fees for the same work

Be prepared to wait on hold 45min-1hr everytime you have an issue They have a pretty horrible technique as well were they play one song on loop the whole time to try and get you to just hang up They have some pretty bad service reps too, 3rd time my AC has gone out now

Purchased home warranty refused to cover a failed year old water (industry stated useful life of residential water heaters are 10-years) based on the observation from their designated plumber that a leaking roof vent penetration seal caused external corrosion due to race water contactThe corrosion rate of wrought steel in continuous contact with water is mils per year defining years to fail the outlet nippleThey had no rebuttal for the failure mode last gif other than “the plumber says so”This is a blatant case of deliberate breach of contract putting the burden of proof in me, using the blessing of ignorance as defense

I purchased my home on 3/7/and decided to purchase a home warranty plan through this companyA total of $was paid for the contractOn 3/27/18, I had an issue with the plumbing in my spare bathroomI submitted a service request for repairs and this company sent out a plumber days laterI was told the repair could not be covered under my warranty due to it being a pre-existing conditionI explained there was no way I would have known this was a pre-existing conditionI further explained there was no way I would have known it was a pre-existing condition due to it being behind the wallI also informed them it was not noted in the inspection report conducted prior to the purchase of the homeThey asked me to upload the report and further review would be conductedI uploaded on 3/30/and as of 4/4/I have not heard a response from them as to a resolutionOn 4/4/I signed into my account online to check status of my request and it states the warranty had been cancell

The company does not live up to their contractI purchased a Comprehensive Plan which is with the most coverage
I had an AC go out June 11, I reported it to *** *** *** *** and told by their employee that they would have someone out within hours The serviceman set up the appointment for hours later but told me he probably could not repair it until the following day since he would have to get approval and possibly get partsBy then it would have been days without AC and possibly not even repaired at that time
We had to have a local AC repairman take care of the AC and *** said they would not cover it
The AC company that *** had called the request into is miles from the property when there are numerous AC companies within a few miles of the property and with some just blocks from the property *** should cover the cost since their AC serviceman could not service the request in a timely manner

We have had consistent awful experiences with Fidelity National Home WarrantyFirst, we had a plumbing issue, we had no water in the house and Fidelity couldn't find a plumberSeriously?? We had to call places and finally found a company who could send the plumber quicklyWell, Fidelity paid 35% less than the lowest quote we received, so we had to pay the balance out of pocketContractors consistency said that they don't want to deal with the companyFiled a ticket about a garage door opener and they never scheduled serviceOur A/C croaked over the weekend, had to stay on hold for minutes before speaking with someone and they wouldn't escalate the issueI'm sitting here with my family in over degrees water, no A/C and they wouldn't even give me the option to handle it with my own contractorYou buy insurance for peace of mind but this is actually very stressfulI got FNHW without doing my research - if you have an option stay away from this scam and get yourse

I have contacted Fidelity Home Warranty multiple times over the last year for repairs at our homeI am not sure if its due to company policy or because of fraudulent contractors but the service people show up at my door without tools, look at the issue and then tell me its not coveredOne plumber didn't even bother calling in the item that needed to be repaired(Our earthquake valve was shutting off the gas to our house every minutes, he then told me it was $*** for him to fix it, my plumber fixed it for $***) I was then quoted prices from the people that showed up that were 4-5x what my plumber and electrician charged me when I paid for the repair myselfIn the last repair call I placed, I was told by the plumber that he could not complete the repair if the connection between my hot water heater and hot water line was not leaking but that the work should be doneI was told by my own plumber that I should have the work done (he is the one who suggestion my home warranty shoul

I had a contract with *** *** *** *** and requested a service visit for broken tiles on the roof of my houseWhen submitting the work order there was no option for broken tiles, so when I received a call to setup the visit to my house I asked if it was a valid requestI was not aware at the time that the gentleman representing *** at that time was a contractor, and was not trained in the Plan policy
I was told by the contractor that he has replaced tiles before and that it shouldn’t be a problemHe came out to the house days later and spent less than minutes at my house to look at the broken tiles, and then Ingot a call back from *** days later being told that broken tiles are never covered by the Plan, only the repair of what is underneathI explained that my roof did not have a leak and that I specifically told this to the contractor, and I was told that this shouldn’t have even been a valid request
About a week later I received a bill f

Our AC is not working and we filed a request on 6/19/According to their process we had to pay $** for a troubleshooting and to make repairs after thatEven evaluation is not completed let alone repairsNo one has even showed up or bothered to look into this issueI have called fidelity times, each time it takes more then hours to get a customer representativeEvery time they say its up for dispatch which I know already and say they have put it up for other companies to grab but the company never changesFidelity allocated a company named *** *** * *** *** ***Technically they are suppose to call in two business days to schedule an appointmentThis company when called always goes to voicemail with two different messagesOne asks to leave a voicemail, other asks to email and leave a voicemailLeft voicemails more then times, emailed them as wellNo responseAccording to Fidelity customer service they wont pay if I choose my own companyHeat goi

days after making a claim for a covered refrigerator my refrigerator is still not repairedFirst referred repair company could not come out for almost a week, second no-showed the appointment, third diagnosed and ordered parts but is not providing any updates on parts status and won't return my or Fidelity's calls for information/statusForth was referred but Fidelity cancelled that one because "parts are on order"Just how long should it take to repair a refrigerator?

horrible company Chooses to put personal profits over whats right to do Had to have a plumbing line repaired times in months but they continue to assert that the line itself is in good working order and thus unwilling to replace the line Customer service supervisors are unwilling to answer difficult questions and literally just state "please refer to your contract for additional questions"

I have been without heat from my heat pump for over one month and the company dispatched for this repair doesn't return my calls promptly and when they do they complain the Fidelity is slow to reply to requests This is terrible service all around and I will never recommend this company for warranty service to anyone

I purchased Fidelity Home Warranty insurance for a rental home I purchased in September Prior to purchasing the property, I had it inspected by both a contractor as well as paid for a home inspector to inspect the propertyBoth tested the water pressure and stated it was normalIn late November, the tenant informed me that there was a large leak in the kitchen faucet and also some smaller intermittent leaks elsewhere in the homeThe leak in the kitchen faucet was so bad they told me they needed to shut off the water to the homeI called Fidelity Home Warranty to place a claim and they sent out *** *** said the water pressure was too high (I have received varying reports from to from Fidelity)Fidelity said they would replace the "faulty water pressure regulator" but would not repair anything else because it was "secondary damage" due to the high water pressureI immediately contacted the home inspector who stated that he didn't think it was even possible beca

We were thrilled when we received the Home Warranty policy as a gift from our RealtorWe didn't have many problems that first yearThe website kept locking me out of my account, and they kept telling me it was my errorThen, we got the renewal notice and it was $more than the Realtor had paid for it originallyWe figured that the Realtor had gotten a deal on it or something and paid it in installmentsLess than a week later, our water heater sprung a leak and was spewing water all over our garageI called FNHW and they said they couldn't give me a time frame, but that they would call me to let me knowminutes went by, minutes went by, and my Dad finally stepped in and called Rotor Rooter who was here within minutesWe ended up having to pay the $service fee anywayNo one ever calledI had to cancel it over the internetThen our microwave broke and we called back to see if they would transfer that $to the new service order because they didn't make good on that original callThey didI talked to the representative, telling her that my account said that I owed $75, but she said to ignore it and it was saying that the service fee was $(which is what it originally was anyway)I just received a 'Fee Past Due' bill of $and they REFUSE to credit that to my accountIf I want to cancel the policy they are going to take a $cancellation fee, plus any money THEY have had to pay out on our behalfSo, now I can't even get my money back and find a different Home Warranty provider until next yearYou better believe we are going to pay the darn $and next year (right away) find a different companyI am so disappointed with them

I wanted to share with you the very poor service that I have received from a company that promotes itself as: At Fidelity National Home Warranty, we are committed to providing
Home Protection … Service … and Value to each and every customer!
This company is nothing else that another advertising that wanted to “still your money” by doing fake promising and off course never do what they say!
Since we bought our home in Aug 2014, we have been paying this company to provide the “potential required maintenance” for a years all houseWe have tried to use it a few times with the following results:
Our sink garbage disposal “*** ***” brand failed, we asked for service and repair, the “service” cost was $75, we payed, they came and installed another cheap brand, but since it worked, we said okOur AC unit stops working suddenly last summer at pm, we called fidelity, and they said they can’t sent anybody until days, I explained, that I can’t have my family sleeping at 100F, and they said, “call directly an AC service company and we’ll pay you back up to $since that is what our vendor will charge us, but the company needs to be certified and you need to send the bill”, we called a certified company, they fixed the problem that night, and they charged $We send all the documentation and after a month and several calls, we received a check for $“because they have to charge their service $75”
The water in the spa was not warming up at the time of starting the heaterWe called fidelity, payed the $and wait for days, finaly the vendor contacted me, came, and said, this is a valve that is plugged, the warranty doesn’t cover it… I’ll fix it for $270…so at the end we payed $to replace the valveCalled fidelity, and they said, “our vendor reported and electrical failure”The upper spring in our heavy duty garage door failed, leaving our car trap inside, we called for service and repair, payed the $75, and used *** for days, until they finally sent somebody to repair the doorThat “expert” installed a generic springThe door opened, and we said, ok we are happy, and we renew the service with them for another yearThe garage door has have a few isolated weird events, like falling suddenly, but since it worked just fine after the events, we just ignored themOn April 5th, in my way to work the door again fall and this time it hit my car enough to broken and completely junk out the rear hatch spoiler, with the 3rd stop light and the water system to clean the rear windowThe car repair was $I called fidelity and payed the $75, the same day, for a revision and repair of the door… and waited days to be contacted by their ”vendor”, no call was received, called again… “we’ll check and come back to you” … wait another days, no call back form fidelity, no call from the vendor, called again asked what happen, and request not only the cancellation of the service, but the return of my money and the cancellation of the policy: answer “Yes”I called an independent vendor to review my door, and he told me “this door is a heavy duty door and those springs are light springs”…that explains why my door was failing from time to time!
After these discovery, called fidelity again to ask what happed with the cancellation of the policy (requested weeks ago), and they said that there is nothing in the system, that there will be an administrative charge of $and that they can’t cancel it until the end of May, so they will only return June-July moneyAs a result of my frustration, I decide to share my experience to warn you, just in case you expect to obtain any service from this “Home Warranty” company

After a month of discussion of a reasonable settlement of payment I received a call from the manager of customer relations on 9/and he agreed to reimburse me *** and the check would be cut and mailed on 9/On 9/I called and left a message requesting an update with no responseOn 10/II called again and I received a call back left on my voice mail that the manager of customer relations would check into the problem and get back to meWith no response I called again today, 10/and advised that I did not want to but would reach out to his superiorsI was blocked from reaching anyone, names requested not providedHopefully the Revdex.com can go through another avenue in communicating with this companyThank you, *** ***

I went online to submit a claim for a leaky faucet, but the website would not allow me to select plumbing for some reason I had to call a number listed on the website I have spent the last hour on the phone trying to submit said claim for a leaky faucet The first minutes were on a loop of advertisements: A cruise line, Direct TV, TMobile, Car Insurance, Dish Network, another Cruise, and a Singles website At each stage, I had to listen to the ENTIRE advertisement, then press # to NOT go to that company's representative At the end of all of this, I was told the phone number for my area had changed I called the NEW number and had to go through all of this again Finally I got to where she (phone robot) asked my city and state, and times (I tally marked) I stated my city and state, and times she said she could not understand me Finally she got it on try # Then I had to state my last name with the first letters spelled out This one she actually could not EVER understand, and the computer ended up determining I did not have an account with them since they could not find my last name in about tries of OTHER last names with my same letters There was no end to this madness I ended up filing online with a fake claim for my garbage disposal just so I could get a service call number Unbelievable

I placed a service call for warranty work but advised by the repair man that it will not be covered under warranty after allStill paid service feeOn 03-31-our garage door broke and we called fidelity for warranty repairThe repair guy came out and said the issue was not covered under warrantyAlright, so we paid him fix it regardless because its brokennext We called Fidelity to get a refund for the $service fee because it wasn't a warranty item and was advised they would not refund because the repair guy made location and assessed the issue alreadyThe service rep said to refer to the warranty document (we were never given) where it "clearly" states no refunds if a repair guy makes location and assesses the issueHowever, the only document we received from fidelity was a list of covered items but nothing about "no refunds if the repair guy says its not covered under warranty"We would have made a better informed decision on the use of our warranty service had we known
