I have a home warranty and started a claim on 7/07/due to my air conditioner is not working at allI have had two repair companies come out and have told fidelity the same thing They are not making any effort to fix it in a timely matter I have been without air all summer with temperatures in my house reaching over degrees and having coolant leaking in an unknown location causing possible health issues

I went online to submit a claim for a leaky faucet, but the website would not allow me to select plumbing for some reason I had to call a number listed on the website I have spent the last hour on the phone trying to submit said claim for a leaky faucet The first minutes were on a loop of advertisements: A cruise line, Direct TV, TMobile, Car Insurance, Dish Network, another Cruise, and a Singles website At each stage, I had to listen to the ENTIRE advertisement, then press # to NOT go to that company's representative At the end of all of this, I was told the phone number for my area had changed I called the NEW number and had to go through all of this again Finally I got to where she (phone robot) asked my city and state, and times (I tally marked) I stated my city and state, and times she said she could not understand me Finally she got it on try # Then I had to state my last name with the first letters spelled out This one she actually could not EVER understand, and the computer ended up determining I did not have an account with them since they could not find my last name in about tries of OTHER last names with my same letters There was no end to this madness I ended up filing online with a fake claim for my garbage disposal just so I could get a service call number Unbelievable

Every time I called to file a claim I got horrible attitude from employees and supervisors do not get this product

I called Fidelity national home warranty on July 20, @ around 4:30pst to file a warranty issue about my home AC not cooling my house and having kids in the house under the age of with the temperature outside being deg and it being in my house with my AC set to I let them know that it was over deg in my house and I have kids in the house and they said they would put a rush in and that they couldn't guarantee that someone would be out the same day but it not then forsure they guarantee Saturday, July 21,someone would be out to check it outI called today July 21,to see if someone was going to come out and they said that the earliest they could have someone out would be Monday July 23,

I read all of the negative reviews before submitting a claim for my stacked washer/dryer that was leaking water I figured it was going to be a lost cause I had a totally different experience Fidelity sent out a local appliance repair person (who also had horrible online reviews, btw) and they quickly assessed my unit needed to be replaced I followed up with Fidelity about days later and was told they would replace my unit at no cost or send me some cash in lieu of the replacement I opted for replacement and the new unit showed up about a week later - around one week before I expected it I rarely write reviews but I wanted to share my positive experience

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
We called due to a water leak in our bedroomhours later still no sign of a plumberWe called *** again, and Oops, they put the claim on the wrong ticketsWe went from having the corner of the carpet wet, to having 3/of the carpet soaked (including the wooden furniture in the bedroom)We call Fidelity to see if they would wave the $fee or pay at least for a carpet cleaning due to their screw upTheir answer was "we apologize for the issue, but our policy state that we do not cover secondary damage"So it's ok for them to screw up for a water leak and now will cost me out of pocket moneyThanks Fidelity, but we are changing home warranty

I was having plumbing issues at a duplex that I have two tenants residingEach tenant had their toilets back-up, with raw sewage sitting in their toiletsThey were unable to use their toilets, sinks, and showersI called Fidelity to get a plumber out to the property to resolve the issueThe first plumber they sent handed me a bladder to connect to a hose and actually had me try to blow through the main lineIt didn't workHe said he would recommend hydro-jetting the line to FidelityHe made the recommendation and Fidelity sent out another plumber to hydro-jett the main lineHowever, the plumber who showed up didn't actually have a hydro-jettInstead he brought a power washer and attempted to blow through the blockageIt didn't work and the tenants were still without a bathroom, sink, and showersI reported this to Fidelity and they sent out another plumber from a different company to hydro-jett the lineThis plumber actually had a hydro-jett, but didn't know how to operate

My air conditioner had a Freon leak and I submitted a service request with Fidelity National Home Warranty on 6/8/The company that was sent to investigate the problem misdiagnosed the source of the leak, labeling it as inaccessibleBecause inaccessible leaks are not covered under my warranty, Fidelity denied payment for the necessary repairsBelieving that the problem had been misdiagnosed I sought a second opinion with a reputable and qualified local companyThey did a much more thorough leak dectection, located the source of the leak within my indoor coils and repaired the leakDue to the fact that my wife had just given birth to our newborn son I had to consider his and her health and safety and paid the costs to fix the leakUpon fixing the leak the unit ran smoothly and operated for approximately minutes before the condenser itself quit runningI then called Fidelity National Home Warranty, explained the situation and the necessity to promptly change the unit, as I my

The company seems to go out of its way to ensure you do not get to speak with a manager
I had a clarifying question and asked the rep if I could please speak with a manager He informed me that the manager was busy and he would call me back I received a return call shortly after but the man did not identify himself as a manager and only echoed what the rep had already said So I called back asked to speak to the gentleman who called me back They informed me that he was the manager Again, he was not available So I asked that he call me after because I was going into a meeting from 3- Sure enough, he calls me right at 3: I can only assume he did that purposely to avoid talking to me again So, I call back after my meeting and sure enough, he was at lunch I asked to speak to a different manager and of course, no one was available So the phone reptold me he would have the specific manager call me back after his lunch break However, he never ever called me back

I bought home warranty coverage last year and for past few months I am having issues with my electrical panelThere is partial power outage in my house and it is intermittentIn past, every time home warranty send people to take a look at the issue, they said there is no issueFinally on march 7th the main breaker burnt and they replaced just the breaker but main bus bar got damaged and show signs of overheatingSan Jose city inspector came and he wrote in his report that either they replace the panel or get it tested by San Jose city approved testing agencyFidelity is not willing to perform any of those and just verbally saying that the panel is working fineI have permit open and Fidelity is just trying to save money by not fixing what San Jose city inspector has asked to do

My house's main line clogged on April 16, I called Fidelity warranty and got someone fixed the problemOn April 29, a Sunday, the problem occurred againI called Fidelity and the customer service told me that he would find a plumber on that day and I should not worry about the fee since it occurred again within two weeksThe plumber called me in the afternoonHowever, he told me he could not come on SundayHe could only come on MondaySince the water flowed outside my bathroom and damaged my carpet, I cannot let it alone until MondayI turned off water in my whole house and added some chemicals into the toiletI did see water flow on the groud after thatHowever, I was not sure whether it was because the problem got addressed or it was simply because I turned off the waterWe did not turn on the water until the plumber came on MondayIt is still the same plumber came on April He found no problem and leftHe told us since he did nothing, he did think there would be

Fixing issue that I have under warrantyThe end of February I contacted fidelity national home warranty with a claim issueOne for my furnace that was broken and one was my hot water heater that was failingThey told me on both occasion that they did not have a contractor in my area and that I needed to find my own and they would reimburse meI decided to find a contractor for the furnace and let them try and still search for someone for the hot water heaterThe company came and did some troubleshooting and ended up having to replace my furnaceNot only did I pay for it out of pocket up frontThey double charged me the 75$ service feeI paid $at the first call to the company and they took $out of the reimbursement check and still ended up paying 900$ out of pocket for the furnace on top of thatNow weeks later no call back from a manager on this issueNo call service done on my hot water heaterNow I have no hot water

Cannot reach Fidelity Home Warranty on phoneClaims are ignoredIt would appear that they are on the verge of bankruptcy due to the number of recent complaintsIt is likely now a desperate scam to collect premiums without paying claimsSHould be reported to the police

Well been a customer for well over years They service call have be good, used them years back responded well fixed unit now problem next day Just had a failure in my AC unitout and it took them hour to place a service call to an AC company Followed up by them using an over booked company that could not help me for days in this heat Well, I'm sick from heat and my animals are struggling Worst part is all I'm get is negative attitudes from customer service and I still haven't see a techOh yeah I'm the one dealing with the AC company on schedule and Fidelity has given me absolutely no positive responses or accelerated help in dealing with this matter This company has lost all my respect and will be losing my business and I wont keep this to myself at all

We have made calls to have our ac repaired they have sent different companiesThe first two companies patched and got it going but it never worked wellNow the third company comes and says it is a condenser fan motorThey denied the claim based on rain causing failureTHE FAN IS THE PART OF THE AC THAT IS OUTSIDE!!! I thought this was a joke so I called the claims department and they kept repeating that the part of the ac that is outside (where weather occurs) won't be covered due to it getting rained onI escalated the claim hoping to get someone to understand how crazy this is and I got a supervisor who said she would call me back and never hasSo I have no idea what to do I deal like they are trying to defraud me

I purchased a home on 9-1-and in that purchase I also purchased the fidelity home warranty planThe next day 9-2-I arrived st the house to start the move in processThe air Conditioner was outWas not blowing coldI called fidelity and they sent an ac repairman to the house days laterHe said the ac had a huge leak and caused your Freind to leak out and overloaded the compressorHe said you need new unitsSo the next day I call them and they say this is a preexisting issue and my claim is deniedAfter that I sent them my home inspection that day the ac is working fine on 7-25-They still said it's preexisting issueWas denied repairAll I know is on final walk through the ac was working fineI mean this kind of stuff happensNo different then buying s car and ac goes out a week laterYou don't know when these issues will come aboutI want them to replace my ac and do the job they was hired to do

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Do not use their "services" whatsoeverMy girlfriend and I purchased a home and the former owner purchased this warranty to cover the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater which range in ageTwo days after moving in the furnace broke downI called the warranty company and got the process going which was made much harder than it should've beenThey required to talk to the technician about repairs which would've been fine had I not been on hold for minutes which the tech couldn't stay for ultimately resulting in a giant waste of time and unneeded frustrationA degree week later with a week old infant in the house I finally got the tech to the house and a person on the phone at the same time which they ultimately denied my claim because the furnace was "old" despite the fact that the contract doesn't say that absolutely anywhereSince I have to replace the furnace and the warranty is suppose to cover it I begin the process of getting transferred for hours to this person or that that couldn't help us but could transfer us to someone who could (they couldn't and transferred us) which was a giant loop of being on hold for an automated menu that literally only gives you options to get someone who can't help you and transfers you to the menuThe furnace aside, the transfer/hold issue is one of the most infuriating processes I've ever been through in my entire adult lifeTo top it off I asked for a refund (another giant loop of transfers) which they then insist on taking out $for "admin fees" which is ridiculous considering I'm not charging them for all the work I missed not is the technician charging them for the 2-hours he was nice enough to waive to get the work through the warrantyThey transferred me again and again until I finally got one person who helped me and made it seem as though everyone else was purely trying to discourage me so I would just go awayOne "supervisor" I got literally talked over me the entire time which led me to tell them I'd review them on Revdex.com and she laughed about it then transferred meLong story short, this company jerked me around for a week to ultimately deny my claim all the while I have a week old infant in a cold houseIf you plan on purchasing a warranty from these people, DONT!!! Just take $out of your account and burn itYou'll get more heat from that then you'll get from them actually fixing your furnace
