On May our upstairs ton split system Bryant AC was not coolingWe called for service and the Technician who came out stated that a filter dryer was not installed therefore they denied the claimI showed them that the manufactures installation manual lists a filter dryer as a recommended and not a required partAfter multiple service calls over a 1/month period (at least 6) from companies sent by FNHW and myself it was determined that the TXV valve was defective and needed to be replacedFNHW agreed to the repair and set up the repair with ** *** *** *** which is one of their vendorsThe technician said he had the wrong part and needed to return later that dayI received notice later that the TXV valve would not be replaced because the coil would also have to be replacedSince the coil would have to be replaced the Condenser unit would have to be replaced but since it was not defective but a rather a compatibility issue I would be responsible to replace the Conden

I had condos where I used Fidelity home warranty for over years Their contractors were ok, but on several occasions I had problems with billing, but the final problem takes the cake When I renewed my last contract, I knew I would be moving, and was told that my yearly payment would be prorated and returned to me if I cancelled early No one ever told me about the additional service fee If you have to cancel your contract, you are charged all of the money they spent on your items during that year of the contract This means, if you had ANY work done, you probably won't be receiving any money back I spoke with people when I renewed and let them know I would be moving within the year You would think SOMEONE could have mentioned that Because of what I see as underhanded business practices, I could not recommend this business * *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

I got a home warranty from FNHW when I purchased my home at the beginning of JulyShortly after moving in, around mid-July, I reported a problem with my appliance which is covered under warrantyFNHW has still not made the repair after over monthsEven if FNHW does make the repair it will not be in any way timelyBeing without the appliance has been a significant problem in the householdMost people would find it hard to last more than a week without a dishwasher and would just end up paying out of pocket for a new oneI can imagine that FNHW makes a bigger profit when it makes their customer wait for the repair so long that the customer ends up replacing the appliance and FNHW therefore doesn't have to do any repairI would like a refund so I can get the repair or replacement done right away

I submitted a claim for a plumbing issue because I had a warranty through FNHWEssentially, the tub stopper had broken off and I wanted to get it replacedI submitted a claim online and FHNW assigned the claim to *** *** *** came out and stated that they could not fix the tub stopperIndeed, the person from *** *** was so bad at his job that he didn't even know how to find the correct make and model of the tub (hint - it was underneath the tub)Before we called *** ***, our tub drained fineAfter *** *** left, our tub would not drain and the bath was unusableWe called *** *** back to fix the drain they stopped up; they returned and told us that they did not have the right tools to fix the drain they stopped up, so *** *** contacted FHNW and transferred the matter to another plumbing serviceThis other plumbing service called me and left a message, which I returned the same dayThey did not call me back for approximately five days after t

On 02/02/2018, I contacted the Fidelity Home Warranty Company and informed them that the sewage line was backed up in the kitchen disposal side of the sink which was also backing up into the adjacent bathroom sinkI advised them that I needed a plumber to come out to clean the linesI notified them that the tenant would meet them at the property and allow them accessThe tenant told me later that the plumber from *** *** *** came to the property, looked in the sinks and saw that there was no standing gray water in the sinksHe claimed that per the warranty he could not do anything unless he saw water in the sinkHe left without doing any true diagnosis such as removing the main sewage drain plug, etcThe lines were not cleared and the tenant has addressed the problem by not using that side of the sink and limiting the use of the adjacent bathroomI contacted the Fidelity Home Warranty Department who claims that the service call was providedThe problem remains and no r

After my AC was blowing out hot air, I contacted FNHW and they sent out a technician from a local company here in Bakersfield, CAUpon arrival, the technician was unprofessional! When he saw the AC unit out back he immediately asked when it was serviced last because if it had not been serviced, his report could ultimately have the claim deniedHe proceeded to wash down the unit (there was visible oil on the concrete slab the unit was on, which was a sign the compressor was out!) and say the ring was due to the waterHe changed out the motor to the fan, which he stated had not been diagnosed as the issue, and continued to switch out the capacitor and add sealant and coolantThe air was blowing cool once again and ended up going out a day laterHe was called back out and the 2nd visit was worst than the first! He was late and ultimately admitted to the burned out compressorAfter he left I called FNHW and advised them of his diagnosis and requested they expedite the repairs, as it has been plus and this was going on a week with no ACThey indicated (authorization) that the claim was denied because the technician said it was the condenser coils being wet by the sprinklerMind you, this is after an hour wait holding for them to answer at FNHWAfter an hour explaining the situation and how the tech had lied in his report, I was told I could seek out another technician for a 2nd opinionI opted to find one and his report confirmed that the compressor was burned out and the negligence from the first technician led to my circuit board burning out in my furnace due to failure to shut the breaker offI was told that they would file my complaint against the technician for his unprofessional demeanor, as well as listed several options to proceed with the new techLong story short, they tried to send out another tech for a 3rd opinion and avoided sticking to their original offerI have never been strung along when specifics of a contract show that they were in the wrong*** *** ** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** Unbelievable! I am beyond disappointed in how there is poor customer service and unprofessional staff

We just bought a home and got home warranty.I am very disappointed with these company they do not help you at all they hire companies they are not creadicrable at all the reason I said these I have a electrician come to my house I paid him in cash and ask for the receive never got it back and call fidelity and let them know they did leasen at all I still responsible to pay and according to them they fire the electrician and his company but I still have to pay again what kind of company those this and also for people trying to get fidelity be careful because when you get contracts if you don't like their work they don't refund back and plus you end paying more and plus every time you need a service you have to pay $when you call and pay again when they come to do work and if doesn't get done you pay again these is not work it is better to hire some directly then having these company to do it for you they are ripoff.I will not recommend these company again I never complain or write reviews but these company is not what they sale to you I very disappointed

Fidelity National Home Warranty won’t cover the replacement of the oven bottom panelThe paint on the inside bottom panel is flaking offThe paint flakes couldnpossible get into our food and be consumed causing health issues by either cutting our mouths, throat, etc; the entire digestive tractFidelity isn’t covering it because they said it’s “cosmetic” when it’s our health that is at riskIf anyone in our household becomes sick or ill because of this, I’m holding Fidelity personally responsible because of their inconsiderate claim

I had a service request for our water heater and toilets in September, work order #*** They came out and advised the issue with the water heater was not coveredI called in and inquired about the issue as they said the popping noise wasn't coveredI informed them along with the popping noise the water temperature will change from hot to cold to hot to cold and it doesn't heat properlyThe customer service representative advised if there is a heating issue which is causing it not to heat properly it may be covered but they would have to send someone else out to inspect itI inquired if there would be a charge and they said no because it is related to the first issuesThey said if it was something that is completely different issue then there would beThe plumber came out and inspected it and the result was that it was a direct correlation to the first issue so it was not covered as wellI since then have received a 2nd invoice for the service call which I was informed if i

My home purchase came with a home warranty contractWe made our first service request for an electrical issue in our family roomThe contractor came out at the very last minute of our appointment window on Friday, Sept 2nd., He came in, did not do any testing or look closely at anything and said that our electrical outlets needed to be replacedHe leftNo work was done, no visual inspection, no paperwork, no business cardNothingFast forward to Friday, Sept 9thWe did not hear back from the companyI called and left a voicemail on Friday between and 4pmI called the home warranty company on friday, Spet at 9:48pm to cancel the service requestNo work was completedWe have not received any communication on the statusI was informed that we would still owe the service contract feeI contested thisThe rep said parts were orderedHowever, we were never updated to the statusOur call log shows no calls inbound on Sept 5thI requested to cancel the contract and refund

Our water heater went out and it was covered under FNHW's home warrantyFNHW left us without a water heater for days after following all the necessary procedures of FNHW to ensure we are reimbursed for our costsNot only didn't they reimburse but rather sent us a check for what FNHW actual costs would beThe check wasn't even one-third of our actual costAfter following all the procedures in item number of the contract FNHW refers to item number which states "FNHW has the to offer cash in lieu of repair or replace of the covered system and/or appliance in the amount of FNHW's actual cost to repair or replace such a system or applianceThe amount reimbursed or paid in cash lieu may be less than the retail or actual costs incurred by the contract holder"My contention is that this is that the average consumer would not read item number 11, it being at the very bottom of the contractThen why go through all procedures per FNHW to ensure reimbursement? FNHW's employees walked

We called May to report problem with ACTechnician came out days laterSaid unit failed, He would send report to FNHWweeks, several phone calls to tech and Fidelity went unansweredFinally, I called again today FNHW says coil was damaged by irrigation and would not be coveredThey could not explain why no one called or communicatedI have paid them for years and got zeroThey are a fraud as far as I am concernedbtw, there is no irrigation anywhere close to the unit

It's the worst ever warranty and they just want your money and NOT fix the issueI've living with a problem-ridden fridge for past months and after visits from warranty people , the issue still exists

I called Fidelity Home Warranty for plumber, possible plumbing leakMy contract number with Fidelity is *** and Service Work Order is #*** and #***Fidelity sent ** *** *** *** *** **After he did the repairs for Fidelity Home Warranty we discovered that the plumber (and represented by Fidelity as qualified) did the work incorrectly and illegallyHe didn't pull permits and the work he did was in violation of code and we did not pass inspectionIn addition the plumbing hole was significantly bigger and we had water running down the walls and into the basementOur house sale/closing was delayed because of the incorrect repairsWe didn't pass final house inspection because of the plumbingAfter days and over hours on the phone with Fidelity they refused to "make good" and send another plumber out to correct the work, and do repairsI had to pay over $*** to fix the problemFidelity represented the plumber, hired the plumber, yet they walked awa

I was charged twice for once service call in June I initially paid FNHW directly over the phone when scheduling the call, then the technician charged me again when he was onsite I have been requesting a refund of the overpayment since early July It is now at the end of Aug I have called the customer service line numerous times, left several voicemails, and sent several emails in this time span Their response rate is disappointingly low One phone call that I was unable to answer; I called back in less than mins and sent to voicemail repeatedlyOne email response saying they are looking into it, but nothing since

I called Fidelity National Home Warranty to service a request for a damaged pool heaterthe company they chose to send out was unreliable and untrust worthy in my opinionThe piece that was broken on my pool heater was readily available online yet they told me that it was not made anymore and that they could not replace it but for an additional $*** (roughly) could go ahead and do a complete replacementI rejected that offer and simply told the pool company that I would find another means to fix my pool heaterAt this point no service has been renderedI then contacted Fidelity for another issue (plumbing in the interior of the home) and Fidelity informed me that I owed them an additional *** service fee for the pool company and services that were no renderedi payed that additional *** service fee today (7/25/18) but feel that was unethical seeing as how no work was performedRegards, *** ***

I initiated a no heat service call with this company in mid SeptemberInitially they were unable to provide a competent service companyWe went for several weeks before a company finally showed up and condemned the unitFidelity requested paperwork that was provided immediatelyWe were told that someone would be in touch with no responseWe went without heat for over daysTo date we have had the furnace replaced out of pocket and have yet to hear back from FidelityTerrible customer service leaving our family with no heat for that long and still not acknowledged the claim

I recently had an air conditioning issue in my home (July in Las Vegas, NV) - the temperatures were in excess of degreesI had an active home warranty policy with FidelityI contacted them for emergency service, and after waiting for hours on the phone, was told that no contractor was available to help me for about a weekAgain, Vegas in the summerThis because a health/safety hazard as the house became unlivableI went as far as emailing their CEO and finally got them to send someone out soonerOf course, when they did, the issue "wasn't covered under my contract" - ductworkNow, I've researched other companies, and the vast majority of them cover ductsAccording to Fidelity I'm out of luck, they even sent me some stupid letter to aggravate me further with their convoluted legalese explaining to me why they were screwing meThere is no way to know when purchasing a policy about all of the different parts of the major systemsHow am I supposed to know if ducts even

The coverage under this policy is sub par We've had to fight with them about repairs and coverage We had a furnace replacement and the contractor they initially sent was also irresponsible He told us the replacement could not be done and we would have to completely move the unit We had to fight with Fidelity to have another contractor come out, after we had done our own independent research about what was possible We now have another issue with them regarding a water heater The charge to us is far beyond the value of the policy and the savings is negligible compared to other providers *** *** *** ** ** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ***
