Fidelity National Home Warranty FNHW failed to resolve a recent complaint regarding services that were unresolved due to mis-informing a consumer on the proper procedure for service requests, faulty online service request process, and delays in providing service request repairsFidelity National Home Warranty FNHW refused to provide a repair on the same visit that is covered by an electrical service requestBefore submitting the service request online, the consumer spoke with a live representative over the phone and received incomplete information on the correct process and procedure for completing a service requestDue to the website option, only allowing one service to be selected, the consumer called FNHW to inform representative regarding the online submission processThe representative replied with "there are no issues with our online service." On a separate service request, there was a delay in service that took months before the consumers decided to resolved it themselvesDuring the month time frame, the Consumers contacted the contractor as well as FNHW for status updates and didn't receive return calls on several occasionsThe delay in providing a service technician for the initial service request that was submitted prior to the renewal date went beyond the renewal date and therefore would not be coveredI refused to renew or extend my coverage for faulty online submission options, delays in services, and incomplete information about the service request process

Fidelity has been responsible for faulty repairs, delayed repairs, and a complete failure to repairLess than a year ago, my refrigerator broke downI immediately called Fidelity and paid a service fee to have it repairedIt took over six weeks before a repair was done, and Fidelity sent three different companies outThe first company completely misdiagnosed the issueThe second company diagnosed it properly as a sealed system failure, but said that it is not a fixable issue and would not do the repairThe third company ***) came out and did a repair to get my refrigerator workingLess than a year later, it broke againI again called Fidelity, and paid another service fee*** came out again the repairman said that it is a sealed system failure again (same as last year)He also informed me that sealed system failures generally do not ever get fixed, and that the repair last year was just a patch on the issue and that any repair this time would also likely last less than a

This is in regards to Contract *** *** *** *** ***Part of the work order was to resolve an issue with my *** refrigerator, which is having an issue with the water dispenser (noisy, uneven flow) and change filter indicator light (will not go off and sounds an alarm to change the filter even though it's been replaced )On/Around 2/20/- I submitted a service request using Fidelity's online service request toolIt has very limited options, which does not include issues for the water dispenser even though this is a covered part as stated in the contractOn/Around 3/16/- *** ***, the dispatched servicer, identified potential issues--a faulty water valve and control boardI was informed that due to the construction of my house the water valve could not be fixed*** *** recommended to replace or repair the control boardA replacement was not possible due to the part being unavailable so the alternative was a repair which they advised could take

I initiated a service request for my garage door that brokeThe dispatched repair person arrived without notice on Saturday at about 8:20am, he told me that he needed to be in touch with the home warranty company to obtain authorization after diagnosing the issue was due to a broken springI received a call that same morning from the authorization department requesting a copy of my home inspection report, never being told that needed to be provided when I initiated the service callSubsequently, I received an email noting the technician had come out to my home and unable to diagnose the problem due to things being in the way, which was incorrect and again stated they needed my home inspection reportI emailed them a copy on Sunday, July 30thOn Monday, July 31st, I called customer service and was told my home inspection report had been received but that I had to speak to the authorization department about my service request, as they didn't know the process in the customer service

Terrible service Claims are denied by service providers (who have an incentive to deny claims) and there is no recourse The only way I have gotten anything resolved in my favor is to spend literally hours on hold talking with multiple customer "service" representatives I will never buy a home warranty from this company again!

Since the fourth of August my house has been without air conditioningI have called Fidelity times in the last days and have had three contractors come outI have been told that contractors have been dispatched when they have notI have been told that parts are ordered when they have not beenI have been told that no more than two contractors can work on one applianceI have been told a supervisor would call me and no one ever didThe following work orders have been submitted: Aug to ***, Aug to *** *** ***, Aug to *** *** *** again, and one that was originally sent to *** *** *** *** on 2* Aug but no one ever contacted me and it was re-submitted to ** *** on AugMy * year old has been to the emergency room for a heat rash as it's been over degrees and with the wild fires I can not open the windows in good conscienceThe compressor has been filled twice and lost all of the freonAt least 1* pounds has been knowingly leaked

We have had coverage through *** for many years I am divorced from my spouse who is the contract holder; however I am still residing in the home until the home is sold, per the divorce decree The furnace went out on 2/11/18, and we have been waiting for the furnace to be replaced since then with no ETA to date
*** has provided inaccurate and delayed responses to this emergency situation I have been without heat for nearing three weeks with no ETA or scheduled replacement Per their contract, this constitutes an emergency situation and they have sent out multiple contractors and incorrect replacement parts I have been told to heat my home with space heaters, which is a dangerous and unacceptable response The home is likely considered "uninhabitable" due to how cold it has been The temperatures have been in the single digits/teens throughout the last few weeks, and my children have not been able to stay with me as a result They have not even begun to remove t

I had a lapse in making an annual payment for home warranty in AugustA Fidelity National representative, called me late on December 4th, and asked if I wanted to renew the policy as of the following dayShe said I would receive exactly the same contract as beforeShe emailed me a contract I should receive in mail in the following week or soIt stated $** of service feeI received the paper contract in a week or soI only checked the number of pages, because it was a concernI had a leak in the bathroom, so I called the FidelityI was charged $**I looked at the paper contract, it says $**I emailed and called the same renewal agent, who told me that she had told me that the "coverage would be the same, and your service charge is $**." She argues that the reason why she sent me the $** fee contract to show me back upon "renewal" is because that's what's availableShe said that she wasn't sure if there's anything else anyone could do for me

this company send me contractors that do not do good work they lied and cheated me when they did a plumbing job for me they had to come back and do the same job over ond over a they charge me every time they had to come backI was sent a contractor from** *** for my microwave he said the only problem with microwave is door is broken but microwave would sometime not heat up food and I don't know if its dangerous to use because door wont close I told fedility I felt there was more wrong than just the door they sent someone out for second opion but it was the same company and I was not home just my wife and she dose not understand so he realy took advantage of her because she did not understand also they were sopposed to send a different companythe last time they did a job for me they cheated me and told me they could not finish the job I was with out my shower for almost 3mounths when I speak to them and try to resolve the issue they are rude and completely unproffenalwhen I c

Home Warranty Plan covers ACUnit went out 7/17/It has been over a month, several contractors reassigned to the claim and still AC is not fixedCurrent contractor claims Fidelity has ordered the wrong part times and he also informed us that he advised Fidelity the unit should be replaced and that the compressor might fix it temporarilyI hired my own contractor and he confirmed the exact same diagnostic, the unit must be replacedI have been on hold trying to reach the "Authorization" department on different occasions for 20+ minutes each timeI have been disconnected while sitting on hold 20+ times so many times I can't count

I bought the home warranty and one of my garage door opener popped open on its own and fried by itself when I was closing itThe contractor hired by FNHW came, a very young guy apparently not sure about what he was doing, took a few pictures and told us he could not do anything about it and left after minutesThe report he left us showed a broken cover and burned electronic board, consistent with what we observedHowever we didn't know that when he got back, his report to FNHW falsely insisted that the burned board was due to a power surge, which I was sure did not happenI contacted FNHW, was told that the warranty covers only 'wear and tear', meaning if you have something going wrong with your appliances, you are out of luck - FNHW only covers when the appliance 'dies naturally', which doesn't make senseWhen I contacted their customer services, after being put on hold for over an hour, I was hang up twiceWhen I finally got through, I was asked to have another professional to take a look and file a report to FNHW at my own cost, which I will doI will ask for arbitration on this issue and I would not recommend their service to anyoneI may cancel the contract depending on the outcome of further actionOverall, a quite negative experience

My Water Heater is covered by FidelityJanCalled Fidelity to fix the Water Heater, Thursthe 26th Fidelity sent out *** *** & rooter, who told us that a part needed to be replaced, Fidelity explained they called in the part but it would take 2-days....after several calls, several days Fidelity repfinally tells us it would be a few more days because they can't find the partdays without hot water and no call from fidelity Home Warranty, we called on Monthe 30th and had an appointment with *** *** to replace the Water HeaterOur Warranty covers the water Heater fully but we were told by the *** **.that was instructed by Fidelity that we had to pay a $** service fee plus $*** for Service fees or they wouldn't cover our Water Heater or install itThat isn't even the worst part...I had to go to *** *** where my Water Heater also was warrantied by instruction of Fidelity....now I'm at the store and the plumbers have the Water heater and I got a

I have had Fidelity Home Warranty for yrs nowAnd have had always good experienceI even switched my mothers Home Warranty to themUN TILLMy refrigerator was having troubleI have call them time for the same thingThis last time they told me it was a part recallSo I had to wait for the part for weeks to come inSo we had NO REFRIGERATOR FOR WEEKS!! I called them and told them we had no frig and they didn't careI Also told them Because of this part they keep fixing it leeks water out of the bottom of they frigand it had Ruined my hardwood floorsThe water was coming up threw the floor all thru the kitchen and I lost about in foodI work out of town sometimes and sure enoughIt broke while I was out of townI talked to ManagersAnd told him I can't have things going out like this They didn't careI said how many times are you going to fix the same problem? It's a old frigThey said as many times as it goes outBecause it's not worth replacing it

I filed a service request for a broken microwave on 9/21/FNHW sent out a technician within one (1) week to diagnose the issueThe tech told me his company would contact FNHW and get back to meThe company never got back to meI contacted FNHW through their email and requested a different vendor due to the poor service already providedI received a phone call from another vendor asking to come measure the microwave since it is a built-inThe new vendor came out approximately 10/09/and did his measurementsThe new vendor called me on 10/11/and stated they needed to special order the microwave and that it will be two (2) weeksI did not hear back from the vendor after two (2) weeks and called them on 10/31/and they told me it might be available on 11/6/If this holds true it will have been days before my microwave can even be scheduled to be replaced...who knows how long it will take to actually execute the replacementI find this extremely unacceptabl

I requested service on a faucet in my bath and shower faucetThe company they sent *** *** sent an either incompet or a thief who wanted to overcharge a yrold women for an unnecessary ans extreme service repairI suggest that fidelity NEVER use this company for Plumbling serviceHe made no attempt to loosen screw and remove handle to adjust cylinder

Fidelity National Home Warranty is a horrible company to do business with if you live outside of ***The company makes no real attempt to add in-service vendors in other areas outside of ***We bought our home in *** two years ago and the first year of home warranty through Fidelity was purchased and paid for by our mortgage companySix months after buying our home, we suffered a severe sewer line blockage that backed up into our yard and our house by way of our washer flow/drain lineOf course this horrible issue would arise right before a holidayI called Fidelity's number to request a service call and have it listed as an "emergency" service callI called Fidelity early in the day, the day before a holidayI spent all day trying to get a plumber sent out, but Fidelity was fighting it because the only in-service vendor was over miles awayNow the fact that Fidelity has only managed to acquire one in-service vendor in my area is their issue, not mine! Why I should be refused a service call because they are too cheap to pay the vendor they acquired is beyond meI spent all day and all evening arguing with Fidelity, until it got so late I knew I was out of luckFidelity evidently has zero issue leaving a family without toilets, showers, washing capabilities at all overnight because they do not want to pay their own in service vendorsEarly the next day (the holiday), I began haggling with Fidelity again to get us a plumberBy the time I finally lost my patience and demanded a manager, and finally convinced them to pay for the plumber, it was not only holiday hours, but it was also after hoursAdd the cost of mileage as well, and it cost them just shy of $Had they sent the plumber the day before when I first called it would have been $Real smart on Fidelity's partFlash ahead to today (December 22) and we have another sewer line back upI called Fidelity at 4pm and finally lost my patience and temper at 8pmFidelity is absolutely refusing to pay the after hours/ mileage fees for the plumber to come and snake out my sewer lineFidelity still only has the one in-service vendor in my area and they refuse to pay mileage for the one and only vendor they have to offer! How exactly does this work? I finally lost it and hung up after I told the supervisor I hoped she could sleep well after leaving a family of four without toilets and showers over Christmas holiday and the woman had the idiocy to say I had threatened her, insinuating she should stay awake because I was going to come looking for herI have never heard of such ridiculousnessI live in ***, she is in *** and I am a grown woman and do not engage in such immature bs!
I am demanding the remainder of my warranty fees be reimbursed because I refuse to deal with this company any longerA company is only as good as the customer service they provideFidelity has horrible business practices and they employ supervisors that make childish and ridiculous accusations when they do not have a decent response to why their company is screwing over it's customersHow dare they charge me $a year for warranty coverage and then refuse to pay the only in-service vendor they have for me to use! That is just absolutely ridiculousFidelity also does not have an in-service AC/ heater repair vendor in my area, so I have had to pay out of pocket to hire my own vendor, then wait almost weeks for reimbursement from FidelityI am done with this company and I would suggest to anyone looking for a warranty company to do some serious research before buying you warranty through Fidelity!

Our air conditioner has been broke for monthsNo follow through from Fidelity

This company fails to explain its pre-existing conditions in its own contract, but then uses it as a way to deny claims, and still charges the client the service feeI spent minutes on the phone with them and spoke to different departmentsNo one could or was willing to help meI paid $for a home warranty that I can not use and a $service fee for a service that did not occur

As of January Fidelity has been to my rental unit in *** *** ** at least times to provide repairs to a 30+ year old AC unitAfter they fix the unit, it stops working and it takes another call and fee to get them out there againThe multiple visits to the property lack of providing a proper fix is causing great inconvenience to my Tenants, Property Manager and Myself, that is not to mention the costs of each service call and the potential safety issue that this old unit may presentI have been with Fidelity for more than years and my contract number is ***
