Purchased their services, paid the $deductible for dishwasher repairs, and the technician who came out to review my dishwasher problem came into my home, and was out within minsHe gave his recommendation to Fidelity National Home Warranty that had nothing to do with the original issueI reevaluated the technicians claim and confirmed that what he said was complete falseWhat he claimed was broken was actually working perfectly fineI contacted FNHW to report my findings along with the unprofessional services the technician provided, but instead of assisting with getting a second opinion, I received the most unethical business answer:
NFHW: "Sir, you can pay out of pocket for a second opinion and if you're right then we'll wave the deductible fee for us to send out another company to fix it."
Me: "But will I be compensated for the money that I spent on for the second opinion, if I'm right? If I'm wrong, at fault, and your technician was legit, I would TOTALLY accept the lose on the money I agreed to spend on a second opinionBUT, IF I'm right, will you give me my money back for the second opinion because the original technician who you sent out didn't do his job correctly?"
FNHW: "No, SirWe will not reimburse you if you are right about us sending you a technician who didn't do his job correctly."
Me: "How is that even legal? I pay for hundreds of dollars for your warranty, paid the deductible and in the event YOUR client finds out that they were right about bad services , that YOU provided, you will not reimburse them for their troubles?!? How is that even legal? You're telling me that the technician gets away with my deducible the I paid for and you won't do anything for your client?"
FNHW: "Sorry, SirMy supervisor already reviewed the notes and nothing further can be done on our part."
Me: "Can you PLEASE tell me that this is something you agree with, this is sooo unethical, in every way and you're telling me that I'm *** because you guys won't further review this horrible situation because of a horrible technician?"
NFHW: "Sorry, Sir, the decision has been made."
Me: "May I speak with your supervisor."
NFHW: "Yes, we can do that, SirThey will call you when they feel it's at their convenience."

I filed a claim with Fidelity National Home Warranty on 7/because our Washer was leakingThey sent a service person out days later who looked a the unit and said they were not authorized to work on this type of unitI called Fidelity and they said they would send someone else outIt took another week and this person said they it had a few problems and they needed to file a report and let Fidelity decide what to doI did not hear back from Fidelity about what action would take place next, after repeated calls and being on hold for an average of 50minutes per call, I was told they needed to wait for the report to be filedIt took a full week to hear back and upon hearing back they offered the option of a replacement unit of cashThe cash was a fraction of the amount of the cost of the unit but they said that was all they would offer, so I chose to get a replacement unit, however, they had offered the wrong size so I needed to fix that issue with themFinally I agreed to the u

I was then told that because there was carpet on the floor that this policy does not apply, and that I would hav

I recently purchased a property and was given a Fidelity Home Warranty by my real estate agentShortly after receiving the warranty I had an issue involving a small gas leak and needed a repair*** came out to my residence and identified the issue, shut off my gas meter and told me to call a plumberI called Fidelity given that this should have been covered by the home warrantyThey took my information and "routed my request to their vendor"Their vendor called me and indicated it would take one week for them to come outSince my gas was shut off, I had no heat or hot waterI called Fidelity and they indicated that I could use my own plumber and get reimbursedI called a plumber who respondedI then called Fidelity "authorizations team" and had the plumber describe the work to be doneFidelity denied the claim on the phoneI paid the plumber in full and then noted on my next credit card statement a charge of $** for a service fee from FidelityFidelity is refusing to refun

My experience is the worst of all time! AC went out in March and FNHW tech they sent said the condenser needed replacingThey replaced my high end unit with a Goodman condenserAfter that my house wouldn't cool over degrees out here in Palm DesertThe next tech they sent said the installation was horrible and that the Goodman was a piece of crap and it wasn't compatible with my AC unitIt was leaking coolant and he would have to replace the coilAfter several weeks of waiting, tech number two backs out of the job so FNHW sends tech number three who says coil needs replacingReally? Well now its late July, my home temp is now degreesMy art work is shriveling and the paint is cracking of my walls and still no AC because the part just arrived and the tech company cannot find the time until August After several heated discussions over the phone, FNHW says they have no control over the techs and their scheduleI said I would consider this emergency which I then got the same replyToday alone I spent minutes on hold and was cut off twiceThis is the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have had in years of being in businessFNHW plays a game of waiting hoping you'll give up and fix it yourselfAvoid this companyJust terrible
I purchased my home in February and a warranty from Fidelity was includedAll systems passed inspection at the time of the home buyIn early July, the HVAC system broke downI called Fidelity Home Warranty to request service, they sent a tech named *** from *** *** *** ***) who then replaced the fan motor on the condenserA few days later, water began leaking from the coil unit in the attic through the ceiling into my living roomI stopped using the AC, called Fidelity and after trying to reach an operator for hours, finally got someone to come out and lookThey sent the same tech, *** from *** *** * *** *** (who was very rude to me this time)*** looked into my attic, did not go into my attic, and simply said "your system is not level and is not installed properly", closed the attic and left and said I would have to call the home warranty company to follow upI did that and after trying to reach someone at Fidelity for hours, I finally reached a rep who said they would not repair or replace the system because it's not installed correctly although my warranty contract specifies coverage for "improper installation"When I asked about this, the rep said "that's a grey area." I requested a second opinion as my air conditioning still did not work, which they said they would request "emergency dispatch"After waiting for hours, I followed up and was told they would not be able to get anyone to the house for at least a week but I could hire my own company and submit for out-of-pocket expensesThey emailed me the forms to do soSo I called a couple local companies and had someone here the next day, got an estimate and paidWhen I submitted my invoice, Fidelity then denied my claim saying the services were not coveredSumming up the experience, it has been beyond frustrating and a huge waste of valuable time trying to work with Fidelity and get them to provide service and honor their contractIt seems their modus operandi is to make the process so frustrating that you have no recourse but to give upIt's my opinion that their warranty is worthless and a waste of moneyI would not be surprised to learn that they are offering a bogus product and their reps are being trained to deny services
I submitted a service request to fix a dishwasher draining issue (appliance was working, but not draining fully.) After the first attempt to repair the dishwasher was completely unusableIt no longer drained at allThe issue was made worseAfter more service visits, the service company stated it can't be repaired & recommended it be replacedFNHW stated it not covered claiming rocks & dirt were put into the appliance & if I want it replace I need to sue the service companyI contacted he service company & they read the invoice submitted to FNHW verbatim & it stated "the tub drain its clogged with debris." FNHW stated So now after 3+ months I'm with out a working appliance
Contract*** Generally, I purchased a service warranty with FNHW on April 5, I have called in several service orders and they are either not repairing the issue via the vendors they send out to state that all is operating as it should be or they are denying the claimAnd, in one instance they have approved a claim; however, they (the vendor they have contracted for the repair) will not make the repairThis action is unacceptable as I have purchased the insurance type warranty to cover what the property insurance does not; however, FNHW is taking the funds for the warranty and not making the repairsAnd, to put insult to injury; I received an email stating that to date they have spent $on my behalf for repair; however, no repairs that have resolved the issue have been made
I've had a very negative experience with this companyWe purchased our home this last May and have had some issues that I've called fidelity to come out and fixFirst issues I called about was our top dishwasher wouldn't start and the bottom one would fill up with water when I'd use the top one and wouldn't drain, and some of the burners on our stove wouldn't igniteThe guy came out, reset the top dishwasher so it starts now, but basically told us to fix the bottom one I have to run it to drain the water out....even though I'm not utilizing it(So not fixed) He worked on the stove for awhile, finally said he needs to order a part and would come back and fix itA couple weeks go by, they finally call me to set up an appointment so I didA different guy comes out, tries working on the stove all over againAt the end tells me he needs to order a part and needs to come backThey have never come back! Next issue, I call about some electrical issuesOur phone jacks aren't working in the house, I had a question about our attic fan running constantly, and our central vacuum wasn't workingThe guy comes out and works on the vacuum firstHe tells me that there's a hole in the tube in the attic and he can't fix it so he tapes the hole and tells me it works nowIt doesn't workHe doesn't even try to attempt the phone situation because he said something about there's a lot of wiring in the attic and he wouldn't be able to figure it out or something, and tells me the attic fan just works that way and not to worryLast issue; it's getting cold now and I cannot get our heater to workI set up an appointment to fix the heaterThey come and take a look in the attic, tell me the cover is off and they're not allowed to work on it because they don't want to be responsible if someone broke it or whateverWhich okay, I get that....but they charge me still a service fee for them to tell me they can't work on it???? I've been charged service fees for someone to tape a hole, which I could do, to tell me that's just how it works and not take a look at it? No thank youI'm not renewingI've had to go out of the warranty and hire people to fix these issuesSo on top of there charges I have to pay the service charges for the things that didn't even get finished
After a month of discussion of a reasonable settlement of payment I received a call from the manager of customer relations on 9/and he agreed to reimburse me *** and the check would be cut and mailed on 9/On 9/I called and left a message requesting an update with no responseOn 10/II called again and I received a call back left on my voice mail that the manager of customer relations would check into the problem and get back to meWith no response I called again today, 10/and advised that I did not want to but would reach out to his superiorsI was blocked from reaching anyone, names requested not providedHopefully the Revdex.com can go through another avenue in communicating with this companyThank you, *** ***
