I received a home warranty with FNHW with a purchase of a house contract***On May I filed a repair request *** stating that my heating/airconditioning was not workingThey were slow to send a service company but they did arrange one of their choosingI paid the $service chargeOne June they notified me that their selected licensed A/C repair shop said the unit was rotted out and they wanted a second opinionSo they reassigned it to another company for reviewNow it is July 11, and no other company has contacted me or come to review the situationAt this point I am weeks and days after my initial service requestI think it is completely unreasonable that they would go this amount of time without approving the claim and how could any fair and reasonable company force their customers to go this length of time without A/C in the middle of summer?
Company sent a technician, which did not conduct a proper evaluationTechnician advised me, that he was informed by the Fidelity company to only make a visual inspections without any physically inspecting the water leak in my kitchen ceilingFidelity has been contacted and state that the technician reported mold on the inside of the of the ceilingA report which, in order to determine any mold required the ceiling to be breached Fidelity is hereby not honoring their contract and state they do not cover any breach to the drywallFidelity stated I would be required to turn off the water, since they do not cover any secondary damagesThis issue involves health issues
The A/C guy came out the same afternoon and fixed the capacitor in timely and professional mannerThey sent *** out to replace the control panel on my dishwasher via an appointmentHe was there on time and did a perfect jobPest control service for mice was declined because it was rats and not miceThe tech was very kind and complemented me with some mice trapsHe showed me where the rats were coming into my house and was very helpful I've gotten a return on my investment and am very happy with Fidelity

The WORST warranty you could possibly findMy AC is not working for a week and they could not find anybody to come out here to fix itThe third party contractor they arranged scheduled to come and check my AC days after I created the request but they never even showed upWhen I called the FNHW, they told me to find an outside contractor who could come and fix itI did what they told me but now they are telling me to pay either $out of pocket or wait another week for them to find someone who "may" come here to fix itThis is totally unacceptableI have been waiting here in Texas weather with no AC trying to get a service from them
I'm questioning Fidelity Home Warranty's process in dealing with their contractorsThis complaint involve the contractor as well, *** Plumbing (search for that complaint)A service request was sent in on 3/14/to get my radiant heater fix and working properlyAs of today, 10/4/2017, my thermostat is missing because *** came back and took it away, and I have no heatI've call multiple times asking/begging them to help resolve this issue, and all I get empty promises from the Supervisor (John) promising to help me resolveI don't see any accountability on any level, neither Fidelity, the company that's suppose to be on your side, nor the contractor, they're not accountable to meThey *** off each other...I call ***, *** tells to call FidelityI call Fidelity, they keep saying we're waiting for *** to provide more information/update and they have no other informationNO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! BAD BAD SERVICE!
I've been waiting a week for Fidelity National Home Warranty to fix the A/C on my tenant's house I've called almost every day and they tell me that they are waiting for reports from the A/C company I call the A/C company and they stated that they already sent the reports Meanwhile, my tenant is very upset at me because it's mid summer in Phoenix and it's in the 100's I keep getting bounced back and forth between them and the A/C company But, Fidelity is ultimately responsibly to get the job done
Every time I call in, it's over a minute wait to connect to an attendant Then they tell me that there are no notes in the system, but they promise to fix the problem But, they don't So I call back again, wait a half hoursame promises, but no action
So, this week I get the paperwork to re-new the contract with them Hmmm, I don't think so
My air conditioning went out in JuneFidelity sent a technician over who patched, added Freon and leftLess than a month later, all the Freon was gone, obviously a leakEvery call to Fidelity is a 40-phone wait for a representativeSometimes they will put the call through after the wait, but no one picks upFidelity wanted to send the same technician, ***, from *** *** *** ***, but I said we wanted someone else*** is only able to do minor repairs, not major workThey sent a diagnostician from *** last Saturday, who said the flexible tubing and coil needed replacing, and very possibly the a/c unitThe tech, ***, said he would report to Fidelity and they would call meI called Fidelity on Monday, asked to speak with a supervisor, was assured one would call me; she never didThen I received a call from ***, the original, poorly qualified technician, saying he wanted to c one on WednesdayI asked him if he replaced flexible tubing and the coil, and he said no,
Terrible experienceCalled on a Sunday to get the work set upEasy enough work, should take any plumber less than an hourI would've done the work myself up front but figured would pay the deductible and let someone else do itTerrible decisionThey assigned a plumber from a town miles away (my town has hundreds of plumbers, so this was bad from the start)The assigned plumber finally got out there days laterUpon arrival he figured out he didn't have the right equipment with him and would need to come back MondayMonday comes around and I leave my important meeting to meet the plumber to find out on my way home that there's going to be an extra $because the toilet was going to have to be removed to snake the line, and that wasn't coveredCancel the service because all in all this should be a $fix at most, and they're wanting $Total garbageDo not choose this company as your home warranty company
I am a customer of Fidelity Home WarrantyI experience a lot of circuit breakers tripping in my houseI suspected it was an overload problem which was resulting in the trippingI booked an appointment with them for a ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD ANALYSISI had clearly mentioned that I needed a "ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD ANALYSIS" so that I could hire an electrical to fix the wiringsA service contractor came to my home and advised me that ELECTRICAL OVERLOAD ANALYSIS was not covered under warrantyHe was in and out of my house in less than minutesHe drove to my house to only tell me that it was not covered under the contractI understood that and was fine with thatBut now Fidelity Home Warranty is forcing me to pay the **$ visit chargesThis is not acceptable because I had clearly mentioned the type of service desiredIf it was not covered under warranty then I should have been told over the phoneThere really was no need for someone to come to my house and charge me **$
I had service requests for a pest control service and an electrician service with FidelityFor the pest control service request, I've talked to a representative on the phone described my problem, and she dispatched a contractor to my house and told me they DO NOT provide that serviceBut Fidelity insisted on charging me the service fee because they did sent out people on siteFor the electrician service, I requested service on light fixture without knowing the item is not covered(not able to access my contract on line), Fidelity send in electricians who refuse to serviceThese incidents cost me time and money, and can be easily prevented by FidelityI do not think this company deserve to be listed under Revdex.com
After moving into my new home with a warranty purchased on ALL appliances through Fidelity Home Warranty (not their basic warranty plan), I was expecting the warranty to cover any issues with my appliances for the first year as was promisedDuring the first week in my new home I noticed the oven and dryer was not workingI called Fidelity and they scheduled a technician to assess the problems and I paid the $** feeThe technician said there was noting he could do about the dryer and said the oven needed a part ordered and he would returnI never heard from the company again until a month later when they said they closed my ticket after I didn't answer their phone calls to come repair the ovenThis was a lie, they never called and just wanted to close the ticketI called Fidelity and had them re-open the ticket and called the company backThey said they just received the email from Fidelity and would call me back to schedule a time to come fix the ovenI then received an email f
This is the WORST home warranty you can buyDO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY I called three times, and spend minutes, minutes and minutes respectivelyThe issue was a safety one, with arcing in my garage caused by a faulty external lightI was told that the fixture wasn't covered, and therefore I would have to pay for the entire service call and repair myself (over $600)The rep told me the electricity running through the metal walls of my garage was my own problem, since it originated in the fixture and any issue caused by the fixture was void, even one of extreme fire safetyTHIS INSURANCE IS A SCAM
Company sent out unqualified repair peopleActually made situation worse and misdiagnosed the problemAfter calling rep and letting know our own technician found the errors and corrected the problem they refuse to reimburse and are extremely rude and difficult to deal withHave asked us to resend paperwork continuously that they have and have even questioned us onPhone calls too this company are an average of minutes hold time with calls often dropped only to restart the min hold time again
