Prior to closing on our home we were informed via a inspection report that the A/C unit would need repair as the temperature differential was only degrees and the typical differential would be around 14-degreesAn amendment was placed into our contract stating the A/C would need to be repaired prior to closingBoth parties signed the amendment and I was provided an invoice showing the A/C had been repairedOn 07/09/we closed on the house, but did not move in until 08/01/as we were removing the popcorn ceilingOver the course of working on the house it was noticed the system would continuously run and not shut offWe then contacted our warranty company who then sent out a A/C technicianThe technician advised the outside unit would need to be replaced due to wear and tear on the machineWe then contacted the warranty company that advised the claim was denied due to being a pre existing conditionWe then provided documentation showing work was done on the unit to

I submitted a claim for a leaky washer when I bought my house, they dispatched a company to come out and fix it, after the tech said he fixed the leak I found that the washer did not work properly, the dial was worn out and it would only run the first part of the Gentle cycleI don't know how the tech missed this, but I submitted the issue to Fidelity National as a recall and they had the company come out and replace the dial on the washer, it took a couple weeks to get the part in which is expected for an older machineThe kicker came when Fidelity charged me another $for the claim, even though it was a recallI spent hours and hours and hours and hours on hold waiting for someone to answer in the "Authorizations" department and no one ever answered, the system would eventually just hang up on me, I reported this to the customer service line, but it was never addressedI finally sent an email demanding that they re-review the claim, since the tech failed to notice the is

Fidelity Home Warranty is lackluster at best They should not have a good rating with The *** I live in Texas, It has been between and 103-degrees for three weeks This company is so incompetent hey have yet to fix my AC They never return calls or do what they say they will doCommunication is non-existant I will recommend them to no one

June 18th filed complaint on broken AC, in ***Call from AC repair company Monday, not available until Wednesday, June 21stCompressor blownRepair tech says warranty company has to approve repairsCall Thursday and Friday, repair company is having issues with contacting warranty company, warranty company says they haven't received pricing from repair companyCall on Friday warranty company admits to having downed phone lines for several daysThen informed once the price is given, it takes 3-days to get through procurement and orderedThen takes a few more days for shipping then needs to schedule installThey can rush it thru procurement to save daysThis puts the estimated install date on Monday, July 3rd, if that is missed, the 5th! weeks without AC in *** in June-JulyAfter calling about canceling the contract the rep hung up on meWarranty cost was over dollars, and I'm going to have to get a hotel roomI could have this repaired same day and been out less

This is a terrible company to useBuyer beware! The contractors they use are slow to respond and it can be weeks before your repair is doneContacted them about our broken fridge (pretty important appliance in my mind) and wanted to know why it would take so longThey didn’t careThey hung up on me after I expressed my frustration of not wanting to be with out a fridge for another weekThis is not the first time we’ve had very long turn around with no help from fidelityThey just want your money and leave you to sort it out with the contractor

I signed up for this 'insurance' at the suggestion of my real estate agent After closing I discovered a leak in a bathroom shower fitting coming out of the wall I called the company and was told I would have to pay $service fee for them to send out a plumber This is probably about the cost to ask a plumber to make the repair Naturally this seems like a sham and I am very disappointed I cannot recommend this insurance

We paid for a home warranty to cover our appliancesTheir mission statement states quality service and exceptional customer serviceNeither of these have been trueWe called in a broken dish washer on 7/12/It is now 8/17/and we still have a broken dishwasherWe are waiting on the third attempt to replace the same part and have service orders on the same exact issue and partWe called into customer service and *** been met with an uncompassonate and unprofessional team If people that could care less about the customer and laughed at my wife's frustration of not having a working dishwasher and their process of getting it fixedWe called it about the problem and it's a week later to schedule someone to take a look and says it broken and order the partHe part takes another week them for them to install takes another weekThat part worked for a cycle them did he exact same thingSo we had to schedule the same guy to come out a week later hem order the same part agai

On May our upstairs ton split system Bryant AC was not coolingWe called for service and the Technician who came out stated that a filter dryer was not installed therefore they denied the claimI showed them that the manufactures installation manual lists a filter dryer as a recommended and not a required partAfter multiple service calls over a 1/month period (at least 6) from companies sent by FNHW and myself it was determined that the TXV valve was defective and needed to be replacedFNHW agreed to the repair and set up the repair with ** *** *** *** which is one of their vendorsThe technician said he had the wrong part and needed to return later that dayI received notice later that the TXV valve would not be replaced because the coil would also have to be replacedSince the coil would have to be replaced the Condenser unit would have to be replaced but since it was not defective but a rather a compatibility issue I would be responsible to replace the Conden

When we purchased our house we went to Fidelity National Home Warranty for a Home WarrantyWe had our *** water heater go out When we called we told them only a certified tech is allowed to work on the deviceThey charged us *** to have a non-cert plumber to come out to say he could not work on it because he is not certifiedWe are without hot water and have been since SaturdayFidelity is not acting in good faith but rather dragging feet on getting our water heater fixed or replacedif they send a tech that is not certified they are putting our family and community in dangerI am trying again 3rd time to escalate but they do not want to hear this at Fidelity

I have nothing positive to say about this company We just moved into our house and I called to get a plumber out to fix our bathroom sink that wasn't draining properly We also had a cracked sewage pipe that we weren't sure if it was covered by the warranty The rep assured that the bathroom sink was covered and would be repaired I had to pay $for the service call I should have waited and paid, but I paid in advance When the tech arrived he said he couldn't repair the sink and that the pipe was not leaking so it wasn't covered So I essentially wasted $ I called back to dispute the charge I was forwarded to a supervisor named, *** *** has customer service skills He was abrupt, rude, and interrupted me several time to try and get his point across He at one point told me to "listen" I remained calm but *** was not He had a pointed tone and was more concerned with being right than making his customer happy He has no business talking to customers much less being a supervisorI'll never use their services again It's a rip off and they clearly don't value good customer service

Absolutely horrible experienceOur A/C went out shortly after moving in to our new houseFidelity denied our claim on the basis that it was a pre-existing condition, because the home inspection had noted it was dirty / in need of some basic maintenanceHowever the inspection explicitly stated it was fully functionalWe even hired a guy to come out, and he said that the breakdown had nothing to do with what was noted in the home inspectionFidelity has refused to reconsider, we spent thousands out of pocket to replace the A/CWe will be taking this to court shortlyIn addition, throughout this process of fighting them for what we are owed, we wait on hold for over an hour every single time we call inThen we have been told that a supervisor would call us back, which has happened about half the time, so we have to resort to calling in again and waiting another hour on hold

I called because I needed my gas safety valve reset so that my gas heater would workThe customer service rep did not tell me that they did not cover safety valves and proceeded to set an appointment with a plumber because I mentioned no hot waterI expected the plumber to know how to fix it because another plumber has done it beforeThis plumber told me to call the gas companyI called the gas company twice and both times was told a plumber would have to take care of the safety valveFidelity refused to waive the service call feeI feel the customer service rep was not properly trained and the plumber they sent was also not properly trained

Fidelity National Home Warranty acquired BPG Home Warranty, whom I have coverage from 9/to 9/Every time I called today 7/8/2017, I would get the run around that they can't authorize a plumber to go out to my house because they had no access to my contract and the person who had access is not thereWhat's the point of home warranty insurance if when you have an emergency they can't help you! First of all if you acquire a company and take over make sure you can access that company (BPG ) make sure to have the contracts accessibleWe live in a computer age era I'm pretty sure they can be scanned or accessed! It took me phone calls minutes waiting time for each phone call before I can get a supervisor to call me!

I have made requests for service dispatch from this companyThe first was over a month ago for a dishwasher that had stopped workingFidelity said they would have a repair person contact us which never happenedWe finally had to contact the appliance person Fidelity referred us to who gave us a mid-day window of service (hours in mid-afternoon) which we could not make because of workAfter much back and forth, Fidelity had us contact *** who also did not give us a choice of service dates and times*** call center said we had to accept what was offered or the order would be cancelledWhat they offered was a 4-hour window next day which we couldn't do because of workNeedless to say our dishwasher is still brokenYesterday our water heater went out and I called the emergency number to obtain serviceI was told someone would be contacting me which they never didI called this morning and spoke to *** who told me a dispatch had been sent and service would arrive betwee

I paid for Fidelity to send out someone to fix my air conditionerThe guy that came out told me the filter needed to be changed I had one and gave it to him knowing that's not allI start talking to him and he tells me I should buy new ventsI don't think he ever looked at the unit itselfIts on the roof so I would knowWhen I called Fidelity to tell them they gave me the same guys numberThis person has ignored all phone calls and even had the nerve to text me back and say hes in a meetingI feel he did not do anything in the first place and I was charged $and now if I want someone else to come out that you chooseI do not believe I should have to pay againI never would have paid this guy in the first place and would of called someone elseIn the meantime I spent hundreds of dollars for your insuranceI am sitting in degree condo with kids husband and dog with no air conditioner

I filed a repair claim for an appliance that was covered under warranty just after thanksgiving The appliance is double ovensMultiple technicians have been out multiple times over multiple months now and I have had to live without double ovens working correctly for two holidaysMy wife is a baker, it has been awfulTo make matters worse, they have yet to call me back as promised and when the tech finally reached a point when he indicated the ovens could not be repaired, fidelity required a second opinion instead of replacing the ovens as promised dragging the process out furtherThey caused my home sale to fall through once, and are putting it in jeopardy a second timeWhen I did manage to speak to a customer service manager, she was rude, unaccommodating, and transferred me back into the first level authorization queue to wait for an hour and start all over instead of getting in touch with a manger for meAlmost three months for an appliance repair is completely unaccepta

I was trying to dispute a service charge with this company for a recall visit A plumber had come to fix and leak and the next day there was more water under the pipe The plumber came back and said nothing was wrong so we were charged a second service fee After many months and over attempts and hours on hold with this company I finally was able to speak to a live human being to dispute this second service charge I was told that the technician found nothing wrong so I should have been charged a service fee even though I had photos and proof that there was still water leakingTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Fidelity Home Warranty cancelled an outstanding warranty claim without my knowledge, our policy had ended, they refused to reinstate the claim in order to fulfill their contractual obligationThey are committing fraud

I first made work order #*** on May 11, to repair a washing machineThe repair man that was issued my case would not answer my calls/texts until I called Fidelity to complain and get a new repair manHe immediately called me and set up the first appointmentThe first time he came he said I needed a new clutch and motorA month went by before he was able to get the parts and returnTwo weeks ago when he came the second time he could not replace the broken parts because he couldn't get a bolt looseHe even used a hammer to beat it trying to break the boltThe only thing that happened was to make a mess and beat up the inside of the tubI've tried multiple times to call the company and find out why it isn't repaired and what is going to happenUnfortunately, after waiting hours on the phone no one will answerI paid this repairman $** two months ago to repair this washing machine and it's still not fixed

I have a contract with Fidelity National WarrantyI contacted them last year when one my tank-less water heaters failed to provide hot waterThe first tech they sent out found no problem and claimed that the water heater was in good working order, even though it could not produce hot waterThe second tech agreed the unit was indeed badDue to the high voltage of the water heater, both a plumber AND electrician are needed to replace this unitOnce the plumber installed the unit, Fidelity National Warranty then told me it would be an additional $dollars to run the electrical, even though the electrical was still in place from the old water heaterAfter more weeks of them unable to hook up the heater, I paid an electrician out of pocket to hook up the water heaterSomething I should not have had to doNow, on April 3rd, the water heater has failedAfter contacting Fidelity National Warranty, they informed me that they do not offer warranties on their work and that I would
