Prior to closing on our home we were informed via a inspection report that the A/C unit would need repair as the temperature differential was only degrees and the typical differential would be around 14-degreesAn amendment was placed into our contract stating the A/C would need to be repaired prior to closingBoth parties signed the amendment and I was provided an invoice showing the A/C had been repairedOn 07/09/we closed on the house, but did not move in until 08/01/as we were removing the popcorn ceilingOver the course of working on the house it was noticed the system would continuously run and not shut offWe then contacted our warranty company who then sent out a A/C technicianThe technician advised the outside unit would need to be replaced due to wear and tear on the machineWe then contacted the warranty company that advised the claim was denied due to being a pre existing conditionWe then provided documentation showing work was done on the unit to

I am not into my fourth week without air conditioningThe company has sent out two vendors to evaluate the situation, and both recommended that the air-conditioning system be replacedNow Fidelity claims it is awaiting pricing from the vendor and has provided no date for a remedy of the problemI call them almost every day and typically spend about an hour only to get no resolution

I have been without heat from my heat pump for over one month and the company dispatched for this repair doesn't return my calls promptly and when they do they complain the Fidelity is slow to reply to requests This is terrible service all around and I will never recommend this company for warranty service to anyone

My air conditioning went out in JuneFidelity sent a technician over who patched, added Freon and leftLess than a month later, all the Freon was gone, obviously a leakEvery call to Fidelity is a 40-phone wait for a representativeSometimes they will put the call through after the wait, but no one picks upFidelity wanted to send the same technician, ***, from *** *** *** ***, but I said we wanted someone else*** is only able to do minor repairs, not major workThey sent a diagnostician from *** last Saturday, who said the flexible tubing and coil needed replacing, and very possibly the a/c unitThe tech, ***, said he would report to Fidelity and they would call meI called Fidelity on Monday, asked to speak with a supervisor, was assured one would call me; she never didThen I received a call from ***, the original, poorly qualified technician, saying he wanted to c one on WednesdayI asked him if he replaced flexible tubing and the coil, and he said no,

As a realtor for years and being on the other side of a transaction (I am retired and recently purchased a home.) as a buyer with the seller providing a home warranty, I am highly unsatisfied with this particular home warranty I have never used this home warranty provider and am exceedingly happy none of my clients did in the past I will strongly suggest that no one does in the future either and plan on telling my agent as well I hope that since I have owned my home for under a couple of months that I might switch to a more reputable home warranty provider Headed to social media and Facebook I give you negative stars

Today is day without my air conditioner workingFour days ago, the second opinion was given, but FNHW claims they don't have a report/statusHave called multiple times after minutes on holdCant get a status, resolution or repair!

I purchased a home in June of at *** *** *** *** *** ***There was money left over from the sale of the houseI was told later that the extra money was spent on a home warranty with Fidelity Home WarrantyI never requested this specific Home Warranty company and never signed a contract with themI "never received a contract from them"Meanwhile I requested to have my roof fixed in the month of June Someone came out and said they did repairsNow that the rain has hit my houseThe roof they came to fix has left a lot of damage to my garageI called them and they said they are not responsible because they only guarantee work for daysAnd they also indicated they were "never authorized " to perform the work in the beginningIt was all a mistakeAnd to end the discussion they said the roof was only covered for one yearThe first yearAnd even though the work was conducted incompetent "during" the first year that it was authorized to be done, they ar

Started using this company in late Jan and I have to say the service is not great at all
My first report of an issue with my A/C was on 5/15/and the problem is still not resolvedIt took the contract service rep 4+ weeks to get to my house and install a new coil
On 6/23/I called and opened another ticket because ever since they installed the coil my AC has been running 24/and cannot keep up and I have NEST thermostat online reporting to prove that the problem started to occour after the new coil was installed! Still not scheduled to be repaired yet!
--- Summary on my experience ---
DAYS AND COUNTINGSTILL HAVING ISSUES
***4+ Weeks to get the first ticket started and it has not fixed the problem***
***New call placed and ticket opened on 6/and still no response from Fidelity or the Contracted labor to come back out to fix what should of been fixed

I have been trying to get my dishwasher repaired/replaced with this company since November 21stIt is now December 26thEvery time they ask me to do something or submit something I do so immediatelyThen I have to call them to see if everything is approvedThey come back and tell me that something else is wrong and they need something else submitted or more informationI had a “licensed” dishwasher repair tech (there is no such license for dhishwasher repair techs but they say you have to have one) call them from my home and speak with them about my dishwasher but they have no noted comments about what the tech saidI then had to contact the tech myself and submit a report on the dishwasherThey do not properly take care of business and have horrible customer service in the authorizations departmentIt would be helpful if you spoke with the same person every time but that never happensI will never use this home warranty company again

This company knowingly accepted a home warranty on a home that did not have a sewer clean out and then refused to provide service based on the fact that the home did not have a sewer clean out

On July 10th, we filed a claim with Fidelity Home Warranty for my Clothes Washerthey ask a technician to get in touch, 1st technician did the day after but said they will not be able to come after 5-days, we went back to fidelity to ask for another technician, so fidelity send another one which was able to come 2-days after we filed the initial claim, the technician diagnose the problem and identified the problem and send it back to Fidelity to look for a partthis was going on for a week and I've been following every few daysand Fidelity said the part nowas missing and the model number was missing so they had to contact the technician to get the detailsthis was happening the 2nd weekAfter and half weeksToday it's July 27th, 2017, I called fidelity and they said it's with Fidelity purchasing and they are looking for a partI'm a homeowner who have multiple contracts with Fidelitythis particular contract was with my rental and my elderly tenant is wi

Our home had a leak in our garageWe contacted the company to repair itMy wife and I are first time homeownersWe didn't have a clear understanding of the lingo that the customer service rep was usingWe would later regret thisThe company that Fidelity sent was difficult to schedule an appointment withWhen a date was finally selected they never showedMy wife called them at pm and they were running two hours lateWe cancelled since it was so late in the day and we had other plansThe repair was eventually made but the cement that was laid was a "rough patch" which means rocks were dropped in thr cementThet left a hole in the wallMy wife called Fidelity to discuss her concernsShe was told that we were told it was a rough patch and it did not have to match our garageHad we been told the poor quality in advance we would have paid tbe differenceAs for the hole we were transferred to a different department to have them issue us a check to cover the repairWe would b

The worst experience ever with this companyI wished I had seen their negative reviews before I signed up with themNot only they over charge you, they even charge twice for the same claim when the issue was not resolved and it is supposed to be at no chargeThey have the worst customer service and make it impossible to cancel your contractor with them

I submitted a service request for some electrical repairs on 10/22/I was told by the company assigned to perform the work by Fidelity that they had no availability and I needed to ask Fidelity to assign someone elseI contacted Fidelity on 10/and asked for a new company to be assignedI was told they were looking for a new company and would contact me within hoursAfter not hearing back, I again contacted Fidelity on 10/24, was told they were still looking and somebody would be contacting me by the end of the dayAfter again not hearing back, I contacted Fidelity on 10/and was told that my request was being expedited and I would for sure hear back by the end of the dayAgain I was not contactedI called Fidelity today (10/28) and was informed that they still haven't found anyone and would contact me for sure by the end of the dayTo date I have made multiple phone calls regarding my service request and have not received any contact in response - either by email or b

My experience has been similar to the negative reviewsI've had incidents with them & one was during the heat of the summer in AZGuess their standard answer is we're waiting for the report120' temps & a week later they supposedly got the reportI had the wherewithal to find my own companyCurrently still waiting for a call to schedule a service this has been over a weekThe companies they contract with are below standards in every aspect
Agree - not worth having them as a warranty company

My wife and I purchased a home and closed on June 9thThe home purchase included a one year home warranty by Fidelity National Home WarrantyOur AC unit does not work, but our home inspector said it worked when he did the inspection (indicated on the home inspection report and via a supplemental letter we asked him to write)Fidelity National Home Warranty is denying the claim because they say it is a pre-existing condition because the service technician they sent out found leaksClearly, the unit worked during the inspection, but does not work nowFurthermore, even if it was an existing condition, the Terms of Coverage clearly state that unknown pre-existing conditions (i.eissues not found by the home inspector) are covered

I have waited full weeks for an AC repair company from fidelity and I still have a broken AC unitI filed the request online Sat July 21st, was contacted on the 24th for the first available appointment on the following Friday the 28th which was unacceptable due to our heat wave in Orange CountyI called back to customer service Tuesday the 24th to dispatch another companyThe lady by phone set the appointment for the next day the 25th between pm and midnightNext day, the guy does not show up and states he was booked up and couldn't get to me until ThursdaySo I waited and again, he didnt showI called customer service again Friday morning demanding an appointment and a manger, she said one would call me back shortly and never did! The weekend goes by, no call no work no ac! By Monday I call they find me yet another AC company who sets the soonest appointment for today, Friday Aug10thThree weeks now, the guy shows up and says he doesn't work on my "type" of AC unit, whateve

We had a leak in our spare bathroom that cause some minor damage downstairs due to the fact that it was a small drop that went unnoticed for some time I put some caulk on the leaky pipe joint to contain it while we worked to get the home warranty company to fix the plumbing issue When the plumber arrived, he stated that there was no leak, so he couldn't repair anything There is obvious caulk on the pipe and evidence of slight water damage immediately below (paint cracking/peeling slight spots on the ceiling) He left without addressing the pipe joint that the caulk was containing When I called FNHW to request that they correct the issue, they told me that since the problem wasn't obvious and the plumber couldn't recreate the issue (he didn't try to remove the caulk) that they don't cover that type of repair The joint would have to be actively leaking for get fixed I tried to explain that it would cause additional damage to the house and they may have to then repair that, such as mold abatement and drywall repair, to which I received a response of, "FNHW doesn't cover secondary issues such as mold." So basically I have to pay for a proper repair out of pocket, or I have to pay for repairs due to much more significant damage and possible health concerns Once I realized that they would not assist with the plumbing issue that is part of their contract, I asked for a refund of the $service fee, which they refused to provide They stated that if I could recreate the problem (I.eMake sure the pipe was leaking), they would send another plumber out at that point to fix the leak on the same work order Will I renew? NOPE! I recommend you don't waste your money either!

I went online to submit a service request for a couple items covered under warranty, i.eelectrical and garage door issuesEverything I submitted was under their electrical trade service and required one service fee of $I paid the $service fee; however, I was later asked to pay another service fee for the garage door issues even though they were both under one trade service fee

I have an active home warranty contract with Fidelity National Home WarrantyI reported a central air conditioner outage on Tuesday 7/17/per Fidelity's processI paid the $** feeFidelity states that their vendor should call within days to schedule an appointmentWhen there was no contact from the vendor, I followed up with FidelityThey provided me with the vendor phone to call directlyI have called the vendor and left several messages without any response to dateI have also followed up with Fidelity without responseI have called two other HVAC service companies and already have their estimates in hand
