Placed a service request for pool pump making a loud noiseAdvised rep taking call that pump still works and was only placing request due to noiseSeperate company came out, heard noise, and filed report with FNHW without taking any further actionFNHW called back and advised notihing would be done if only problem is noise from pumpWhen calling back for a refund, customer service stated that notes state there is a pump failure some of the time which is not what I originally stated (statements placed in notes)FNHW refused refund even though they should have originally advised that my complaint would not be covered under home warrantyFNHW accepted payment for something they already knew would not be covered under their contract and refused to refund

I realized my air conditioning was leaking on July 9, and immediately filed a service request onlineToday is July 22, and my air conditioner is still not workingIn the past week, I have called the company times--once to see if my claim had been reviewed (it had not), and three times to see if they had ordered the part that they did finally approveThe first time I was told the part had not yet arrived; the second time--July 21--I was told the part had not yet been ordered; the third time, I was told the part had actually arrived and was ready for the service provider to pick upWhen I called the service provider, they could see no record of the part being available for pick-upI have had representatives of this company behave as though my questions were the greatest inconvenience to them, and I actually had one scold me for calling about my air conditioning when other parts of the country were even hotterI LIVE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIARude, unprofessional, and unresponsiveAbsolutely abysmal experienceI wish there were a rating lower than star

I reported a Bathroom faucet leak problem on 12/31/ They dispatched a plumber on Jan The plumber couldn't even open the faucet handle Spent minutes and left saying he will get back with a new faucet handles to replace Waited for couple of days and then called Fidelity They said in hours they will get a report from the plumbing company in Pleasanton Called Fidelity after days Same comment from them Then I called the Plumbing company directly They said they are waiting for the replacement part So waited for a week and then called Fidelity They kept saying the same thing, waiting for a report from the plumbing company I was so frustrated Two weeks gone by and they had no clue what's going on Asked to talk to a supervisor A lady came on line and was very rude She said no where in the contract an ETA was mentioned So they cannot commit on a date when it will be serviced Waited for another week Nothing happened, same bt that they are waiting for a report from the plumbing company On Feb 14th (after weeks) , Fidelity left a voice mail, that they couldn't find the part, and they are ready to send me a VISA card for $59, so I can fix it myself I already paid $for visit fee which is more than the $they are willing to give for fixing it myself I was very disappointed and called them again and asked them to replace the faucet and not interested in their $gift card They agreed to replace it with a builder's chrome faucet
Myself and my spouse have knee problem and for six weeks we couldn't use the bathroom downstairs and had to climb up and down And shamelessly they have sent an email asking me to renew the contract which is expiring in a month
I am definitely staying way from his company for ever!!

I purchased a home with a home warranty that was transferred from previous ownerWhen it was transferred it previously had washer dryer coverage and I called to inquire when I got contract that said it didn't cover washer and dryerThey said that it could be added for $** and if I had any issues the first month they would not be covered and this was in January I did call at the same time about an issue with the water heaterWhen I called in May or April when the dryer stopped spinning they gave me a hard time saying I had to prove it was properly repaired after adding washer dryer coverage and kept saying there was something previously wrong with them (mind you these washer and dryer have been covered under contract for the last years with the previous owner and the total lapse of coverage was maybe days from when I added it)I spoke to a supervisor who was able to clear the issue up and get dryer taken care ofSo this week my washer started having issues leaking and I

Can’t reach anyone without being on hold for a minimum of minutes
I submitted for reimbursement on termite treatment and they are stating that I didn’t follow their protocol
They are scammers!

This company arbitrarily deleted 1/of the value of the warranty that they were supposed to cover with no adequate explanationAfter the 3rd party technician gave their "authorization" department the description of the problem and the cost he handed the phone back to meIn less that seconds the "authorizer" said that they were charging retail rates and that the amount of the claim was reduced by 1/When I asked what the amount of the parts should have been under "wholesale" or Commercial rates I was told them didn't knowI asked how he came up with that number, did he have a price list or something else? Of course he did not, no other means of having any form of accurate pricingHow do companies get away with a scam like this??? Why do they have a Revdex.com rating of A+???

We had the Comprehensive Plus Plan for one yearIn that time period we requested service two times with water leaksBoth were denied as not being in the perimeter of our house--yet both were foundation faucet leaksNow the air conditioner has been dripping water into the filter and onto the carpet--again we are not coveredOur estimated COE was Oct., Today is OctService was again refusedNo contact from the company until this month at which they requested a renewal of their service

I moved into my new home on April 24th, By May 1, I realized that my AC unit wasn't cooling as wellBy May 2, it had stopped cooling completelyI then contacted my home warranty company and filed a claim with themMay 4th a technician came out and inspected the issue and informed the unit was out of Freon due to a leakOur lender required us to have a home inspection done before purchasing the home and while he documented rust damage nowhere in his report was it stated that the unit was not in good working condition(I have provided this to the home warranty company in which my claim was still denied.) My real estate agent contacted her rep for Fidelity and she stated if we covered out of pocket she would allow a third party non biased technician to come out and evaluate itI personally believe this was only stated to pacify meThe 2nd technician came out and he was VERY thorough; he found that the original technician left the caps off our condenser and the cover

Will not honor original work order - lied and am willing to take this to court if need be

Fidelity National Home Warranty FNHW failed to resolve a recent complaint regarding services that were unresolved due to mis-informing a consumer on the proper procedure for service requests, faulty online service request process, and delays in providing service request repairsFidelity National Home Warranty FNHW refused to provide a repair on the same visit that is covered by an electrical service requestBefore submitting the service request online, the consumer spoke with a live representative over the phone and received incomplete information on the correct process and procedure for completing a service requestDue to the website option, only allowing one service to be selected, the consumer called FNHW to inform representative regarding the online submission processThe representative replied with "there are no issues with our online service." On a separate service request, there was a delay in service that took months before the consumers decided to resolved it themselvesDuring the month time frame, the Consumers contacted the contractor as well as FNHW for status updates and didn't receive return calls on several occasionsThe delay in providing a service technician for the initial service request that was submitted prior to the renewal date went beyond the renewal date and therefore would not be coveredI refused to renew or extend my coverage for faulty online submission options, delays in services, and incomplete information about the service request process

On 6/10/I contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty to service my washing machine which had/has mold and other residue in the tub during and after washThey since sent out three companies to diagnose/repair (one two times)The first company said the washer needs to be taken apart to see what the problem is, but it likely needed to be replaced as it's a design flawThey said to get a washer cleaner (we got ***) and the problem should go away, but it didn'tThe second repairman took the bottom agitator plate off and cleaned what appeared to be mold, sm, etcand said it should be fine and to run more tub clean cycles, but it wasn'tThe third also concurred it's a design flaw and even if he replaced the tub we would be in the same situation a year from now and told me it should be replacedFidelity told me the washer is too new to replace (years old) and said to contact a repairman outside of the warranty to get a diagnosisI didThe repairman said it needs to be repl

We recently purchased our home and a home warranty insurance policywe were disappointed when we realized the hall bathroom drained slowly when taking a shower; however, we were relieved because we had bought insuranceWe contacted Fidelity National and during this initial phone call they informed me that I did have coverage for a "blockage" in my plumbing, except if it was caused by a root from a tree and not to exceed ( I can't recall the distance )I payed the $*** service call, a plumber was sent out and he was not capable of clearing the Blockagethe following week I called Fidelity National to see what the plumber had reported back and to let them know the issue was unresolvedthey informed me they would send the plumber back out to address the issuethe plumber came out only to tell me that he could not fix it and that Fidelity National would write me a check and I wold be responsible for getting this addressedI called Fidelity National to follow up and inform them tha

We called due to our *** washerWe advised them what type of washer we hadThe first technician they sent out was not even trained to handle our washer and could not do the service; after I had taken off the day for them to handle thisThey sent the ticket to another company and I again took time off for the to 1pm windowAt 1:I call and am told that their tech had an emergency and they had just not gotten around to call me yetI call fidelity and ask for them to refund the service fee as a courtesy and they declinedThey initially said the 2nd guy would call me back in a day or so to rescheduleI told them that was not acceptableThey then asked if I wanted them to call around and of course I said yesJust got the word I have to wait an additional days before this 3rd tech can be sent out

I initiated a service request for my garage door that brokeThe dispatched repair person arrived without notice on Saturday at about 8:20am, he told me that he needed to be in touch with the home warranty company to obtain authorization after diagnosing the issue was due to a broken springI received a call that same morning from the authorization department requesting a copy of my home inspection report, never being told that needed to be provided when I initiated the service callSubsequently, I received an email noting the technician had come out to my home and unable to diagnose the problem due to things being in the way, which was incorrect and again stated they needed my home inspection reportI emailed them a copy on Sunday, July 30thOn Monday, July 31st, I called customer service and was told my home inspection report had been received but that I had to speak to the authorization department about my service request, as they didn't know the process in the customer service

I purchased a Home Warranty on July when I purchase my current propertyIn January 21, I filed a claim for a non-operational garage door, Fidelity National Home Warranty agreed to send someone to come over and fix itI live in *** Ca, They A garage door company from *** CA to my house, The guys from that company took pictures and said they could not fix the door at all and I needed to replace it-They even gave me estimates for replacing my door, but did not even attempted to fix it at allBefore leaving they demanded a Dollars payment and said they were collecting for Fidelity National and needed to get paid nowI wrote a Check for the amount requested and they went on their way ( By the way right after they left I spent five minutes tinkering with the door and it has been working ever since)A month later I received a bill from Fidelity National demanding dollars because they say they only received DollarsI sent them a copy of my check whi

Fidelity Contractor misdiagnosed and/ or miscommunicated problem with my garage door and its operating systemMisdiagnosis led to multiple repair fees and resulted in a safety issue with the garage door system

Fidelity National is in breach of contract by continuing to collect payments and service call fees, but failing to repair a defective HVAC system dispite multiple calls and several workorder requests the unit has been unrepaired for over weeks at this timeFidelity has denied my request for internal escalationFidelity has lied directly about issuesFidelity has failed to act as required by agreement, taking money for services and not performing those servicesI cannot imagine why the Revdex.com shows a A+ rating for this company based on what I read on your web site, and personally experience

They have serious issuesThey promised me someone would come and fix my fridgeI am still waiting days laterWhen I called for a follow-up, they put me on a minute hold and guess what? I got a call from the repairmanActually, it was a robo call stating I need to call them to set an appoint to get my repair doneSo when I called back, nothing, not even an answering machine

We called May to report problem with ACTechnician came out days laterSaid unit failed, He would send report to FNHWweeks, several phone calls to tech and Fidelity went unansweredFinally, I called again today FNHW says coil was damaged by irrigation and would not be coveredThey could not explain why no one called or communicatedI have paid them for years and got zeroThey are a fraud as far as I am concernedbtw, there is no irrigation anywhere close to the unit

The sales department sells seller's coverage but when a seller encounters a problem, they are told it must be a pre-existing condition As a real estate Broker, I will no longer recommend this company as a preferred warranty company They don't stand behind what they sell!
They employ managers like *** ***, who has the customer service skills of a toad Not everyone is out to dupe the system There are many of us with integrity and value truth!
