I have been assessed a $late fee, which can't be waived since there has been an exception to waive another late fee this year

I received an advertisement from USAA for % APR interest on balance transfers for convenience checks posted to my account between September 1, and October 15, I called USAA to verify that this was true and they affirmed that it was, so I had them mail me a convenience check I used the check between the above dates and paid USAA $for the convenience When I received my bill, USAA started charging me interest on this credit card account, and refused to stop charging me interest Therefore, I paid the credit card down to zero so that I wouldn't have to pay interest This came at great sacrifice to me

My complaint starts when I received an advertisement in the mail regarding a USAA credit card with no interest until April of At the time, I needed cash to cover a debt and the card advertised no fees on convenienceTo verify that I had not missed anything in the letter, I called USAA and spoke with a representative who stated that there were no fees on the USAA credit card convenience checks that I received an advertisement forI had an additional question about a week later and

On January 17th at 5:55PM USAA sent me an email with the title “Fraud Alert: Call USAA about your Credit Card.” I did as instructed and learned that my credit information had been compromised and multiple transactions were attempted without my authorizationAfter speaking with the representative, I was assured that all charges on the card would be reviewed and all fraudulent charges would be credited back to my account
