Erros message and unusable service
I have tried using the Sinemia app for the past two weeks. Every time I try to purchase a ticket in the app, I get an "error". I have emailed customer support, and have only received an auto-reply with no solution.

I paid for a service, but am not being able to use the service anymore due to the errors.

Paid for service of $7.99 per month for 12 months, which is a total of $95.88 plus $14.95 for the physical card.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund, as it seems they cannot resolve the problem.

I prepaid for the entire year. My card won't work, and they won't answer any of my complaints. They delete my comments from social media asking why.
I prepaid up front for the year subscription. I am unable to use my account at all. It says the card number they provided is invalid. They won't answer any of my emails or complaints. They delete my comments off their social media. This is a scam operation, and I can't believe they are still allowed to exist.
They also falsely advertise the cost, as service fees are added, and you have to pay an extra 15 bucks if you want the physical card.
Just a horrible experience and a horrible company.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund, or I want them to fix my account immediately. I also want them to call me.

Service doesn't work
I am trying to purchase advance tickets using the app. I keep getting an "unknown error". Costumer representative doesn't return emails. This is true for both my account and my wife's:

This is not the first time that we were unable to use the service. Other problems occurred in the past.

Desired Outcome

Either refund me my money or deliver the service.

Until now they have suspended my account for almost 4 months and no reply to any customer service.
Sinemia has suspended my account since Dec 28, 2018 and until now they still did not reactive my account. I can't use its service to watch any movie. I tried to connect with their customer service but did not get any response.

My account started at 11/9/2018. As I enrolled the annual plan for watching movie for one year with 3 movies per month with $8.99/mo. Totally I paid $107.88 in advance. Just after first two to three use, I noticed they were charging additional $1.8/ticket if you are using apps to purchase, and there is no way to skip this fee at that moment. So I feel I was cheated as there is no place on the ADs mentioning this fee. I contacted with customer agent right after I found this to cancel the account and they refused to do any cancellation or refund. So I filed a claim with my credit card as I was cheated by their plan and hidden fee and waiting for abitrition result from my bank. During this time, Sinemia fighted back with my claim to bank and suspended my account that I can't use it at all since 12/28/2018. As soon as I heard from bank that they have rejected my claim on 1/1/2019. I started to ask Sinemia to reactive my account. I have provided all document they need from bank to show bank has rejected my claims. But since then, I tried to contacted with them more than 10 times by email(no other way), and never heard back from them. My account is still being suspended and I can't use it.

Desired Outcome

Refund the payment since Sinemia has suspended my account(12/28/2018) until the end of this plan.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Not even two weeks later I am once again unable to buy tickets through the app. I have three other family members with the same issue.

It seems pretty apparent Sinemia *** control individual accounts and turns on/off the ability to purchase tickets. It is not an issue with the app, it is an issue with Sinemia.

Sinemia is proving they cannot be trusted. People like myself have paid for a full year up front and Sinemia is not holding up their end of the agreement.

Changed rating back to one star and I don't think it will move up anytime soon. Looking forward to hearing from Sinemia.

Update #1 Apt-11

After writing a review here Sinemia replied and said the issue was fixed. It has indeed been fixed and I *** purchase tickets through the app. We'll see if it continues to work correctly over the next couple months. Updated review to three stars for now, will update to five stars if the app and service continue to work as described.

My wife and I purchased a One Year membership to sinemia. It worked fine for the first month but now it is impossible to purchase tickets through the app. We only get loading circles and nothing moves forward.

We are about to lose this months tickets because of this. I have now sent six emails to Sinemia customer support over the last few weeks and have received no response.

This is starting to look more like a scam everyday.

Not receiving any service that was paid for.
Purchased annual plan last August, service worked fine. As of March 26th app does not work. Submitted five separate help requests via support email on site and app, as well as through trustpilot. Recieved three auto generated responses that it is being looked into. As of 4/21 service still does not work, and no help/resolution has been done. Requested pro-rated annual subscription refund, nothing has been refunded.

I contacted support and no reply. Company is well aware of the issue and still hasn't issued a fix for it.
I have always used the service according to the version of ToS I signed when I signed up for the service. So, I am not why this is happening.

I would like the service to be restored or refund me.

Their service isn't working and their not responding to any e-mails.
I started having the problem 4-17-2019,since then I email them multiple times and tried to get into contact with them through social media (Twitter).

The problem has been resolved

I have membership to an annual subscription since January. Since last 2 months, app is not working at all. Their support isnt helping-Twitter or Email

This service has not been working for more than a month now. Neither using card based ticketing nor online based ticketing.

I have tweeted multiple times *** for help. They reply once and ignore 10 times and that 1 reply is not helpful either. I have emailed multiple times at ***@sinemia.com and that is not helpful either. No one responds/nor helps

All I would like from Revdex.com is to help me in getting out of this fraudulent system and get my remaining money back. I lost trust on this product and all I would like is a way out.

The service offered is a monthly service billed annually allowing the consumer 2 screen viewing per month which has not been fulfilled.
The issue I am currently facing is being unable to use my allocated screen viewing for the month to watch a movie. The only method available for this is to use an app provided by Sinemia to generate a pre-paid credit card number which in turn is used to pay the movie cinema of my selection. At this time, I am unable to go through this process and have contacted the company via email as well as the "contact us" method from their website to resolve this. I have not receive any reply back from both methods. Social media forums recommended contacting Sinemia via twitter which I have attempted and have not receive a reply either.

I paid for a service which allows me 2 screen viewing monthly for a year but if I am not able to watch my allocated movies, this is considered as a fraud and to an extent; scam.

I am seeking a prorated refund on the remaining months of my subscription.

This service provided false promises to allow me to watch 3 movies a month in exchange for there yearly subscription.
I purchased this service with a guarantee that o would be able to watch 3 months a month with a friend (6 movies a month total) for a year with the year pass. I have only been able to use it 3 times successfully. The other attempts I have been unable to use this service with only a "error" message to be seen when in the process to use it for a movie ticket. I have attempted to contact their customer service, which is only an email address" and I have not received a response for the past three months I have tried.

This business has not upheld its contract and has not been responding to customers in need.

The Sinemia service simply DOES NOT work. I've used the service once, successfully. The company has NOT responded to any of my correspondence.
Since the failure of MoviePass I checked out Sinemia at the recommendation of a friend. I was already weary they were going to charge me upfront for the full year in order to get the desired month to month price, this in itself is bordering on false advertising because they make it incredibly difficult to see the "fine print" indicating said price applies to annual billing. Still, I proceeded because my friend spoke so highly of it, well hindsight is 20/20. I've only used this app once successfully and because of first time error use (I will attest to this) I was charged $19.00 before being able to use the service again. I paid this, although I did voice my grievances over the practice of charging first time offenders without giving any kind of warning, or maybe a 1st strike, it's just bad business. I've contacted Sinemia via their customer support email twice as well as on Twitter twice> They've yet to reach out and even confirm the service is working. Come to find out my friend had opted for the physical card in lieu of using the app. With this in mind I looked into ordering a physical card only to find that they want to charge $50.00 to ship me a physical card. Bottom line, the companies practices are disgusting and they're ripping people off. I've lost over $200 and have only seen ONE movie. I'm cancelling my service but since I can't get anyone from the company to answer me I can't get my money back.

I would like a full refund of the $191.88 I paid to sign up for this service and the $19.00 I was charged for "abuse of the app" This abuse was simply a first and ONE time user error where I simply forgot I had to also check in under the Sinemia app. Since the movie tickets are purchased in a separate application it's easy to forget you also have to check in under a different application once at the theater.

Unable to purchase Advance Ticket and no response from support
Since March, I've been unable to purchase Advance Tickets. Sent support message via Twitter DM, but no response.

Desired Outcome

Cancel my membership and refund me the value of services I have not received, which is 1/2 of $95.88 If unable to refund me, please cancel my membership. I do not want my subscription anymore, and that's my final decision. Thank you.

Paid for a services not rendered
I purchased a 3 mo. membership for my parents for Christmas. We had issues accessing the account. I sent an email 12/22/18. They never replied. My parents had to give them a credit card. They charged the card twice. Still no membership access. They finally emailed me back April 19, 2019. We are in dispute via email. I am requesting a refund of all monies. THey claim we can use the account. They never mailed a card or sent any emails detailing how to use the account. This is a huge scam!!!

User can not Use/Purchase Tickets Via Sinemia Application. Receives Error while doing Online booking.
I have a one year subscription with Sinemia and past Month or so, I was not able to use any of its services. When ever I tried to book any tickets online, I receive an error message on the phone and I cannot purchase any tickets via this service.

I have not been able to use this service for some time now. I tried to send customer service emails but no response from their side. I also tried to reach them via Twitter but they are not responding to any of my messages. Not sure how to reach them and fix this issue.

I am paying for this service which I am not able to use and they are not able to provide any support to resolve this.

Also when I subscribe to this service, they were issuing free physical card to use and I did not receive card for few months. when I reached out, they said we provide e- card service and if you want to receive physical card then I have to pay for this. this was not part of deal when I subscribe with Sinemia.

MembershipType = Classic Membership - 3 movies per month.

I purchased 2 yearly memberships for my daughter and I which cost $84.00 each (total amount $168). The membership includes 3 movies tickets per month. Every time I open the mobile app to get my tickets I am unable to due to their product not working. I constantly get an error message that prints ("An unknown error occurred, please try back later"). Still til this day I have not been able to get movie tickets. This company is not holding up their end of the contract! I paid for 3 movie tickets per month for 12 months; however, not able to get any!

This company engages in a blatant scam. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM. As you *** see even Revdex.com asked Sinemia to remove their false claims and of course they never responded.

This company is currently being investigated by the DA in several states and theres also a few class action lawsuits pending. If you have been scammed please file a criminal complaint with the District Attorney of your state and join the class action lawsuit.

Account was terminated despite evidence that I attended every movie including pictures of ticket stubs and same credit card on file used to purchase concessions. Attempted to dispute termination through recent digital news article in which CEO was interviewed, was told I would hear within 2-3 business days;however, no response 20 days later. Did a charge back and so far successful. I hope they even attempt to dispute the chargback. Bunch of foriegn ss. Around here, we call this the silent majority vote.

Service is mostly down when trying to book tickets through app. Customer Service will not provide any resolution
I purchased a yearly subcription for two people. In this you can watch 3 standard movies every month. App worked fine for first 2 months and since March its mostly down. I did complain to support through twitter as there is no support available through direct channel. Support was not able to provide any resolution. Again On April 19 2019 the app is down and I am not able to book ticket. Every time my son and I want to watch movie there app or service is down.

Cannot access the app which is the only way to book a movie. Have tried to contact Sinemia help several times to know avail.
I have signed up with Sinemia for the 3 movies per month program. Paid them in advance for the year. Increasingly it has been difficult to access the app in order to actually see a movie. Now the app doesn't work at all. No response from repeated efforts at sending e-mails. No customer service to call. Have been trying to use the app which is the ONLY way to book a movie. Always says there is a problem try later. Has gone on all month of April like this. I would love to have my money back. Sinemia is not honoring it's committment.

At this point, I want my money back. Tired of trying to work with a company that does not honor it's committment and has absolutely NO recourse for help. Apparently this is a complaint from many others.
