Not able to confirm tickets using Sinemia application in my Apple iphone from my sinemia account
After selecting the movie time and theatre, once I click on confirm button it gives a pop up just saying "error". I tried to contact the Sinemia customer support via mail as per direction in the application and there is no response for the mail from last 1 week.

Desired Outcome

Pleas fix the issue so that I *** continue confirm the tickets if not credit the refund of the plan.

I paid up front for an entire year service true June of 2019 but haven't used the service since March.
Sinemia is a movie subscription service that allows its members to go see a certain number of movies per month by using the app available for download on any mobile device. Unfortunately the app has not functioning properly since the beginning of March and sinemia refuses to fix it.

Desired Outcome

All I want to do is be able to use the service for the remainder of my membership or have it refunded to the amount of $89.46.

On July 25, 2018, I purchased a pre-paid 12-month membership to their service for $215.88 ($17.99 per month), which allows for the purchase of two movie tickets twice per month. It was working as advertised for a few months, but around the beginning of 2019 they added fees for using the app, which were not disclosed when purchasing the membership. Much worse than this, since around the beginning of March 2019 the app now perpetually encounters an "unknown error" and cannot be used to purchase tickets at all.

So my pre-paid year is running out and the service has been unusable for almost two months. My multiple emails to customer service have not been responded to. This exact experience is mirrored by MANY other users, as can be seen in the app's reviews.

Because Sinemia is not delivering what I paid for, and refuses to address my issue, I am looking for a refund, at least for the March 2019 - July 2019 portion of what I paid.

Desired Outcome

A refund for March and April because the app has been unusable, and I am looking to cancel my policy from here forward so I also would like to be refunded for May through July because Sinemia has not completed what was promised for my purchase. March through July is 5 months, and at $17.99 per month that would be a refund of $89.95.

I purchased two annual subscriptions from Sinemia that stopped working after 6 months. Sinemia has not fixed the issue or replied to my correspondence
September 4, 2018 I bought 2 annual memberships to SInemia on my Visa credit card for $239.76. The service worked for approx 6 months without much issue. However, on March 9, 2019, neither I nor my husband (the other subscription holder), could not get the app to work, which is the only way to use the Sinemia movie ticket service. It is now April 19, 2019, and after 3 attempts to get help from Sinemia to either fix our subscriptions or refund us the monetary value of the unused time left of our annual subscriptions, we have never gotten a response.

I want a refund for the unused portion remaining of these annual memberships dating from the first day we realized the service was no longer working, which is March 9, 2019.

Over multiple dates and movies, I complete the check-in process and after hitting confirm get an unexplained error message.
Over multiple dates and movies I use the app as a card holder completing all the required information on the app but when hitting confirm I get an error message without any further explanation. My app is up to date. I have filed with customer service - which is very poorly designed for serving customers efficiently and effectively - and get no response.

Because of the numerous problems I do not believe that Sinemia has been consistent with their advertising and has not held up their end of the agreement. I demand refund of the unused portion of my annual subscription.

Sinemia's service does not work after payingfor an annual subscription.
I purchased a year long subscription with sinemia costing about $219 in March. With their service I am supposed to be able to see two movies every month. However, their app quite often has errors and will not load. And their payment method for purchasing the tickets often does not work. Each time I have emailed their ***@sinemia.com they have not responded. I know these issues are not only with me and do get worst due to the reviews of this company on any review page include Apple's App Store. It really feels like they are forcing people to pay for a year up front and then making sure they can't use the service so that the company can pocket all of the money and not respond to us through the only contact information we are given which is their email.

I would like Sinemia to fix this issue so that I can start using the service I have paid for. If it comes down to emailing them and they book the movie tickets for me that is fine as well. However, if not I do want a refund for the remaining months.

The app for product has technical glitches which prevent me from using service. I have not been able to use service since signing up in January. There is no adequate customer service contact information on website and I have even tried to get in touch through social media (Twitter). I was forced to pay over $100 upfront for 12 month subscription, which I have not gotten promised value from due to app not working.

I am not able to book a movie ticket as it is not allowing me to continue further
When I try to book a movie ticket from Sinemia app, it loads and stops. It is not going further and not allowing me to book a ticket. This is happening every single time I try to book a movie ticket from this app. When I try to connect to the Sinemia support, nobody responds to that issue. They are not resolving the issue.

Please take serious action because a lot of people are suffering from this problem.

The company's iphone app is supposed to help book three tickets a month as they charge annual fee for the same. But the app doesnt function, there is no customer service feedback, even after multiple emails and twitter messages.

When you try to purchase a movie through the app, it simply says "Error" and does not allow you to do anything differently. This problem first started occurring on April 20th, 2019.

My husband and I are unable to use our Sinemia account. And after multiple attempts to reach Sinemia customer service, they have not responded at all.
My husband, ***, and I purchased year long memberships for Sinemia's 3 movie a month program in November of 2018. We purchased the yearly prescription because that was the only option. Had there been a monthly option we would have opted for that. The first couple of months were fine but then we have had nothing but problems since.
They continued to add many things that were not in the original contract of when we purchased our membership. When we started it was promoted that we could purchase tickets online or with a physical card. We opted for the online. They said that there may be fees associated from the ticket app unless we use a service or app where there are no fees. We are AMC stubs members and do not have to pay online ticket fees when purchasing tickets for AMC theatres. Sinemia added a $1.80 fee anyway anytime you reserved a movie regardless of which app you purchased through. This was different than the terms we purchased our membership with.
They then asked us to upload photos and a legal ID in order to continue use of our account. We felt this was invasion of privacy but we did it because we wanted to continue using the service.
We also were given a $10 credit through the refer a friend promotion. It shows in our account but there is no way to actually use the $10 towards their fees.
We then thought we could try using the physical card but then they want to charge us for that too and that price continues to increase. They have you caught to where you can't use the service. There have also been multiple times that I use the online card they give me and it gets declined. This resulted in having to pay for a movie outright because I was already at the theater.
Another time they forced me to pay full price for my movie ticket because they claimed I didn't "check in". I had physical proof of a ticket stub and a picture at the theatre with a time stamp and they still made me pay for the movie ticket before I could continue to use the service.
We also would periodically have times that the app just would not work at all and we could not make reservations which then turned into the last 4 weeks of the app just giving us an "unknown error occurred" message and we have been completely unable to use the service we paid for. As of now, we are completely unable to use the service with my husband and I getting the exact same mysterious "unknown error occurred". I have attempted to contact Sinemia through email 3 separate times and they have not responded.

Desired Outcome

Able to use Sinemia service to see movies. Physical card without charge $1.80 fee removed that Sinemia charges for online ticket transactions. If these actions are not able to be met then we would like a full refund of the yearly prescription as we have not been given anything remotely close to what was promised when we purchased the membership.

Sinemia Movie Subscription service is non-functional
The Sinemia subscription service doesn't allow movie tickets to be purchased using the most recent version of their Android application. Sinemia hasn't responded to my requests for support. Since the Sinemia service is defective and non-functional, I'm requesting a refund of my Wife's and my 1 Year Sinemia subscriptions and also the additional fees we paid for to purchase our Sinemia debit cards.

Since Sinemia is unable or willing to provide the product/service they promised, I'm requesting a full refund of the 1 year (3 movie a month) Sinemia annual subscription and the Sinemia debit cart for my account (***@gmail.com) and my wife's account (***@gmail.com) in the amount of $241.74 ($95.88 Annual Subscription, $95.88 annual Subscription, $24.99 Sinemia card, $24.99 Sinemia card).

Sinemia wrongfully terminated my yearlong movie subscription with them and refuses to give me a proper refund.
Sinemia terminated my subscription on 3/5/2019 claiming that I violated their policy. When I contacted them to ask which policy I violated, their representative emailed me saying that they had no access to this information and that I can request a refund. When I requested a refund for the remaining duration of my subscription, they responded saying that I get no refund because my expenditure exceeds how much I spent on the company, which is ridiculous because the purpose of the subscription is to save money on movie tickets. They owe me the value of 5 months worth of movie subscriptions. I complained to my credit card company as well (discover), but they told me that due to sinemia's no refund policy they can't help me get a refund. The representative directed me to Revdex.com instead.

Paid for a full year service, can't use their service ever due to service errors. Customer support ignored all my claims/concerns.
My wife and I paid for a full year subscription of Sinemia. We're supposed to get 2 movie tickets a month. We started out using it with no issues, however for the past month or so, we haven't been able to use the service. Every time we try to get tickets for a movie it gives us an error message and asks to try again later. This error message appears every time. I tried e mailing them to their support email only to be ignored. I reached on on social media, and they finally responded, I wanted a refund for I don't want to keep paying for an unreliable service that I can't use, they asked me to check on my app again to see if it was working, after that they've been ignoring my emails and direct messages, it's been over a week and no answer and no service.

As I explained before. I don't want to keep paying for a service that I don't think is reliable and doesn't deliver. We paid for a whole year in advance. They changed their service and we stayed with them, but we ***'t even use the service anymore. We are never able to get movie tickets, so I would like the rest of my subscription money back.

When I joined Sinemia, I was told I would be sent a card within 30 days. I never received this card or was told I would not be getting one. Now when I try to request one, it says I will have to pay almost $50 to get one. I went ahead and paid additional fees to be able to see movies online.

I was not told I would not be able to do everything from the app when I purchased this. It is maybe my fault for assuming I could use one app to go to the movies, but really inconvenient. I was able to go to a couple of movies, but had to pay the additional fees (which I feel was not clearly mentioned). The fees seem to vary, but I typically pay at least $6 every time I purchase two movie tickets I was under the impression would be free.

The last time I went to the movies, I was not able to check in. I was charged $26 for this. I paid this because I had not been sent an email to remind me or for me to even discuss that I had not been able to do so. I thought this was why I could not log into the movies. However, this was not the case.

I have tried logging into the movie app several times and am not able to use the same process to get tickets. I have went online to the website and sent 5 emails asking for help. Each time I get an immediate email response saying someone will answer my email within 24 hours. I have not had anyone respond to this.

In one of the emails, I even asked for a refund because I purchased a plan that will last until October. I have movies that show as being added each month because I can not use the app or purchase any movie tickets.

I do not think I should have to pay to go to the movies each month. I should have access to a free card that I was told would be delivered months ago. I also should be refunded this $26 fee and even saw on the website about this that after speaking with someone, it could be refunded. I have not been able to use the app and have sent 5 emails. I get confirmations my emails are received, but no one responds back to me.

Can you please help or let me know what to do?

I would like to be refunded the $26 they charged me for not checking in, as this should be something you should be prompted to do when you get your movie ticket. I would like to be refunded my entire amount of payment for this service because of all this time and frustration.

Sinemia is not providing the service I purchased.
In November 2018 I purchased the annual premium plan from Sinemia. I have filed a complaint against this company earlier about their service and the longer than usual time it took to send the sinemia card I purchased. The company responded and sent me the physical card. The use of their service seemed OK for a couple of months. Starting in March 2019 I was starting to have problem using their app. On April 2, I was trying to use sinemia card to check into a film theatre in New York (Quad) to see a film called Sunset. The app would not let me confirm the purchase of the ticket in the last step saying that I have already seen 3 films that month. But until then I have seen only 2 films and I have one extra film rolled over from the previous month. So I should still have 2 left on my account. This is the first incident. And then on Monday 4/15 (already starting a new month cycle), I was trying to check into my local theatre in Black Rock, Connecticut to see "US." The app kept giving me "error" message and would not let me purchase the ticket. Today 4/20, I still could not check in. Another month is going to pass. The custom service never responded to my email inquiries.

I am asking the company to 1. solve the app problem asap 2. extend my membership to compensate for the service that they have failed to provide. 3. If they still cannot provide the service, I ask the refund for the membership fee + card fee from March 2018 till November 2019.
