I am currently in the process of applying for a mortgage and I was notified by my loan officer that SLS Mortgage had reported that I had a late payment and it has affected my credit score by pointsThis matter was supposed to be resolvedAt the time I was in a Chapter bankruptcy and my payments went to their collection agencyAccording to SLS there was a miscommunication between the departments and their collection agency did not communicate with their billing department that they had received my paymentI did not know there was an issue until I received my next statement and it stated that I owed two payments and that the previous month was overdueWhen I checked my bank statements it showed that they had cashed my check for the previous month I then notified SLS and informed them that they had received my payment and my it showed they had cashed it before the due dateThey assured me that they would file a claim with their billing/collections department and the issue wo

Since January 2016, Specialized Loan Servicing LLC has increased my interest rate from 4% to 5% on a 4% fixed interest rate loanThey have already acknowledged the "error", but have not changed the interest rate back to 4% and have not reimbursed me for the overcharged interestI must have called them times since early January without getting the issue resolved

We received notice earlier this year that our HELOC loan was matured and needed to be paid off The balance was around $15, I contacted the company to see what option we have to pay this as we do not have this kind of money and was not aware that this loan had a mature date We were told we could apply for a loan extension Sounded easy enough Well, the application for this was very complicated We filled it out, sent in what was needed then were told that page was missing Not sure how that could happen when it was all sent in the same envelope So, we had to painfully fill out the application again and spend money (that we don't easily have) to mail it out This time they had all the needed paper work and we were told we were not approved for an extension I called to see why and find out what out other options might be I could not get a clear answer as to why we were not approved for an extension and our financial adviser did not understand either, he was shock

Absolutely horrible experience! Had fallen behind in payments and entered a repayment agreement, which we have followed to a "T." Problem is that the repayment dept people don't talk to the regular billing department, so I receive letters and phone calls about my "late" payments which are not late When I call to get things straightened out, I typically get a rep with no more capability than to tell me that "yes, my system shows your payment is late." They have also autodebited the incorrect amount from my account and credit my loan payments sometimes weeks after the debits

They are the Keystone Cops of mortgage servicing companies I am trying to reach my mortgage holder, state attorney general, and Consumer Financial Protect Bureau on this (if the Repubs haven't succeeded in dismantling them yet :-( ) I have had two ridiculous experiences with them in the last year, which required multiple phone calls from me to get straightened out, because one hand doesn't know what the other is doing Unfortunately, I probably have no choice in who services the mortgage, since the mortgage holders probably don't give a crap if we get decent service But all we can do is try -- I thought I saw something about a class action suit against them -- does anyone know about this and how to join?

I sent $4,to SLS to pay down my loan principle...I called SLS to get permission and notify them the payment was coming...after weeks SLS has not posted my payment and won't tell me what has happened and customer service is extremely rude to me...my payment has been cleared on my end

They need to be more professional more courtesy these are people's homes are dealing with and their mailing out information Santa painting wasn't made even though it was their fault because they didn't update the billing address you call to speak to someone they're rude unprofessional

I had bought a house with a mortgage from Mortgage World BankersThe mortgage had been sold to Specilized Loan ServicesI had recieved a letter from mortgage world bankers about the sale and that I would have to call Specialized loan services to setup Payments for my mortgageI had called and been told that I don’t have to pay until I receive my first billI had waited almost month and a half and had still not received a billI had recieved a call today 3/1/from a collections agency saying that I had not payed my bill and had complete disregard for my previous phone call with the mortgage companyI had stated that I did not receive my bill and was told back from the collections company that he did not care and does not want to prove nor send me a bill certified mai, and I was still liable and will be held against my credit report I am willing to pay , however I am being falsely accused of not paying my bill and my credit is being damaged

Financed with SLS since 2013, at which time we were sold to them from another company At the time we were under a Chapter We made our payments in a timely manner, however when it came time to finalize and prepare for a discharge SLS sent Final Notice to Cure on previous debt At the advise of our lawyer, we did so and the Judge granted the closure of the Final Notice to Cure, as well as our Discharge The final notice to Cure was in November of 2015, our discharge was in Feb We have remained on time with our payments, but since the discharge in Feb we started to receive info regarding a loan modification We contacted our lawyer when we received the first one in Feb, he stated we were okay due to the judgement When it was then sent via Fedex in March, we contacted SLS on 3/29/ They stated that they saw our March payment, but did not see our Feb payment, we asked them to further research that as the payments have been made on time each month We received another

My home mortgage loan was transferred to SLS as of November 1, Upon transfer, I have had to resolve multiple issues including an incorrect transfer of escrow balance, incorrect escrow analysis, incorrect property tax information-payment disbursement, and an inability to enroll for online services on the SLS website
Through multiple phone calls, I was able to resolve my escrow and tax account issues, however I am still unable to enroll for online services I have made phone calls in excess of thirty (30) minutes on 12/1/17, 12/4/12/5/17, 12/6/and 12/7/SLS agents have been unable to resolve the issue and unable to offer alternative solutionsWhen I request that I speak with a supervisor and additional personnel who directly deals with these issues, I am told they are unable to contact them directlyI have requested that I be contacted by a supervisor or additional personnel, however never receive any responseNo proactive solution to my issue has been provided

If you mortgage gets sold to this company, refinance as soon as possible!!! I honestly believe they want you to forecloseThey raised my escrow amount needed yearly even though my insurance, taxes etc hasn't gone upThis all happened within mths of

Issue # 1: Payments
I have a mortgage through SLS When I go to make an online payment, the account balance always shows as $ When trying to pay by mail, SLS does not send me a bill until close to or after the date payment is due EX: Payment for November was due November 1st and I did not receive the bill until around the 3rd or 4th of November I have called 1-times a week to ask them when my balance will post to my account and the agents I spoke with said it will not post until it is due So, if it due on the 1st and I make an online payment on the 1st, the funds will not get processed until after the payment was due None of the agents are able to explain why my balance is not showing and why I have not received an invoice in he mail
Issue # 2: Home owners Insurance
When I set up my account online, SLS asked me about home owners insurance I put in the correct fields who my homeowners insurance was through and I was told it would be updated by November 18th,

I am in day one with this company after they acquired my mortgage which I always pay on time I was notified by my old mortgage company of the change I have not received anything from them They said they sent it last week Did not get it Signed up for the web pay and it is through Western Union Weird The web said the payment this month is $ It all felt very strange I sent a check and will hope for the best Very weird in this day and age when it is so easy to make payments online I will be reporting my experience to the state's Attorney General's Office

I received a letter through express UPS from the loan company regarding a promotional offer they had if I completed the following:
Enroll in Auto-Debit Today and received a $Reward Card after successful payments
The letter I received is dated 02/22/ It stated to enroll in this service and collect #reward card, simply use of these easy options by 04/15/16:
Visit their website, return the authorization form, or call the customer service phone number
I called on 02/24/to enroll in the auto-debit to receive the reward card I contacted the company several times to verify when should I anticipate to receive the reward card The first time I called they said a date had not been set After not receiving the reward card, I sent an electronic email through their web account They replied to my email stating I did not enroll on time I replied to their email and stated the response they provided me is incorrect I replied that I enrolled two days after wh

My loan was sold to SLS in October of My mortgage payment has never been paid lateAs of 1/10/SLS has yet to update my loan payment to show me currentUpon transferring my loan SLS informed me 10/they would contact my previous servicer for proof of payment and have the payments made in 8/9/transferred directly to themI 've spoken to customer service numerous times and taken collections calls where I am being told it is being researched only to find out nothing is being done once I get another call a few days laterit I have faxed in proof of payment twice as well as email docsThe constant collection calls and lack of followup done by this company is unprofessional and is also causing my loan to show falsely delinquent on my credit report

My home loan was transferred to SLS from Shore Mortgage on 02/15/without my permission but they claim that is legalThis transfer was not to change any of the conditions of my services with Shore mortgageHowever, I was on a bi weekly program with Shore mortgage to allow me to save by paying the mortgage off soonerSls did not offer this service which has cost me additional moneyWhen this was transferred to SLS it was without PMI insurance which was satisfied on 11/1/and proof of this has been sent twice to SLSOn April 1, SLS paid PMI insurance on this loan and subtracted $Illegally from my escrow accountI called when this was done and no more deductions were made from my escrow but SLS insist that they had a right to take this deduction from my account that was transferred to them with the PMI fulfilledThey stated that PMI didn't expire until May of which would have been correct had I not made extra payments to reduce the balance to the 78% level before

My loan was sold, or is at least managed by SLS and I had no say in the matter unfortunately I've had a a number of home loans over the years and have dealt with probably around 8-different mortgage companies who've managed my loansSLS is, by far, the absolute worst, most disorganized, most inept, most mistake-making and most time-out-of-my-life company I've ever dealt withI've made a ton of extra principal payments and sent them to the exact address they told me to send extra principal payments to Time after time, they applied my extra payments as regular mortgage payments, which of course, if I wasn't paying attention, would cause the payoff date of my loan to be stretched out for years longer than it should be I was assured time and time again that a "note" was put in my account so it wouldn't happen and it kept happening, then, after months of errors, someone finally told me that any extra payment that is higher than the amount of a regular payment will NOT be applied to principal and "their system" will treat it as a regular payment...even though I made repeated calls and they put that "note" in the system Their "system" is so inept and their company is so disorganized that they simply do not have the ability to take an extra principal payment that is more than the regular payment and apply it to principal even if the monthly payment has already been made for that month So, I just decided to send them more, smaller amounts of $so their inept company would stop screwing me on my extra payments The conspiracy theorist in me feels like it's a scam by them to draw out people's loans and to rack in more money I'm sure some people don't watch the allocation of funds as closely as I do and SLS can get away with it...and furthermore, I have forced SLS to give me back all my escrow money and am no managing my escrow on my own because SLS said they need basically a slush fund of around $1,in case escrow payments are over the minimum from my payments When I found that out, I decided that SLS will not have the luxury of holding hostage $1,of my money so they can sleep at night and not worry about my escrow account being underfunded by $at the end of the year Getting them to actually close the escrow and refund my money was a huge, painful ordeal as well, but I won't get into thatLastly, and this should be a red flag to anyone dealing with this company, just logging into my freaking account often takes two attempts to actually log in I log in with id and pw and it takes me right back to the log in screen and sometimes asks me security questions before logging in Even their stupid web site isn't run/managed professionallyThis company is HORRIBLY run and it wouldn't surprise me if some of the stuff their doing is grounds for a class action lawsuit From looking over all these reviews on this site, I think it'd be great to get everyone together and file a class action lawsuit against SLS and to ether shut them down or force them to do their job with some degree of professionalism Anyone interested in suing them, just contact me at * * * * * * * * * * * * *** * * * ** I normally wouldn't waste my time with something like that, but these guys are terrible and it appears, by far, I'm not the only person who feels this way

Specialized Loan Services (CMC Funding on my mortgage statement) has grossly mishandled my escrow accountThey used my escrow money to pay the property tax bill of a property twice the value of mine, in another person's name, at the complete wrong parcel number and property address in the wrong countyThey paid taxes on a property that are DOUBLE the cost of my taxes and then, months later sent me a letter that I owed them a sum of money AND that they were raising my mortgage payment from $per month to $I called to inquire on 7/17/and was told they would open a ticket and would let me know the resolution in business days (July 31st)It is now August 11th and I have called several times, with no resolutionThere has not been a manager available for me to speak to, I'm simply told they will call me backMy property taxes are months past due and my mortgage is $higher than it should beMy latest call to their service department revealed that they didn't even
