This time 24hr fitness did provide contact information and I did speak with a representative However, that individual had no authority to address the issue She confirmed that monthly members would receive no more than a 5% year to year increase, yet could not explain what justifies an over 50% year to year increase for the annual plan I am on The language in the membership agreement is not clear and adequate disclosures were not made to me when this plan was marketed Unfortunately this issue is still not resolved

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It is a shame that I had to chase the business down for months to get them to correct their error, and that, even when would say by phone that the error was corrected, still refused to provide the resolution in writing.
After weeks of prodding by me and dodgy replies and non-compliance from their location's manager, they did, finally, send an email with the new terms, but have refused to revise the contract or issue a new one -- both clearly within their ability.
I retain the email in my records and hope that, next January, the annual fee will not be applied and it will not be necessary to go through this entire process all over again. The way this "resolution" has gone leaves no comfort that the same erroneous billing will not occur again
Until then, I can hardly call all this fuss and stubborn refusal to be decent and serve the customer "acceptable."Regards,*** ***

Per the terms of the acquisition, you continue to have access to clubs that were once owned/operated by *** *** *** but are now owned/operated by Hour FitnessAdditionally, you had continued access to any remaining club locations still owned/operated by ***
at that time which were not acquired by Hour Fitness.
Please note, access to any Hour Fitness club locations which were not affiliated with *** *** *** acquisition requires an upgrade to your current membership in order to access these clubs.
