Funny how I need to provide the contract from more than nine years ago instead of them.? There is nothing in this contract that either of us are debating but it will serve to prove a few of the facts that everyone has agreed on up to this point.? I also added the most recent bill showing the massive overnight increase in dues.? I re-did the math on this.? They actually raised me an my wife's? rate 145% overnight.? Well more than my original 116% figure.? it went from $to $
Fact #- Contract states that rate will be $per year
Fact # - New rate is $(A whopping 145% increase)
Fact # - The salesman lied to me and others about the lifetime rate never increasing(cannot be proved or denied with this document but I am working on supplying that evidence and will have it for the arbitration)
Fact # - The 3% per year increase is the only mention of any maximum annual rate hikeNo max due increase is stated for annual members(This is where the Revdex.com comes in to ensure ethical standards and anti-discrimination practices)
Now you have three written testimonies from me and proof in black and white showing you the (1)unethical practices, (2)customer deception and (3)discrimination.?
The evidence proving these three damning points is overwhelming and undisputed by Hour Fitness even though they've had almost two months to dispute any of this but have chosen not to...they can't...it's all true.? There is no way you can allow them to increase the rate 145% overnight, its undeniably unethical...hence the fact that they have not denied thisThey have also not denied that they deceived customers (straight up lied to us) and have not denied that they have discriminated against annual payment customers.? They are aware of business ethics and actually? regulate themselves with month-to-month customer rate hikes at? 3% per year.? Why to double-standard? Force them to end the discrimination.? Bring them to justice for their intentional deception and lies.? Send a message to them with a swift ruling.?
They have disrespected the Revdex.com and this process in such a way that serves only to reinforce my claims that they do not abide by? any logical ethical standards.? They don't even have the decency to address my claims, attempt to rebut any of them in any way or even get back to you guys in a timely fashion, and when they do , they say nothing.? I have responded to every email within hours.? ? Ironic how Hour Fitness cannot provide you this courtesy.? When they bother to respond again or take part in arbitration they will be forced to defend themselves and try to refute the fact that:
1.? ? They lied! (this sales practice is customer deception at its finest and exactly what the Revdex.com is our to rectify)
This rate hike is unethical! My rate went up 145% overnight.? An annual rate increase of 3% is the only limit ever mentionedMake them stick to it
They discriminate! They print their discrimination on the contract.? 3% max increase for mon-month.? No max mentions for annual paying members.? Obviously they can't ethically raise? rates to whatever...good thing the Revdex.com exists to? curtail this.?
Make them prove they didn't lie, make them prove that this rate hike is ethical and make them prove that they don't discriminate.? If they prove these things to you then let them carry on treating other customers in this fashion.? If they don't, then award me $for the outrageous dues I paid for me and my wife and force them keep our? rates at $per year as promised.? At the very least, end the discrimination and cap the fee increase at 3% since apparently they need a third party to keep them honest and make them treat all customers equally
This process has taken way to long already.? Let's move this along.? I expect a ruling or request for arbitration by the end of the weekDon't let them drag their feet any longer

While this has clearly inconvenienced ? me for many months and ? for some unexplained reason hour fitness committed ? many membership access and renewal and payment account ? and communication and customer service errors all on the national side and not from my local club who are also very nice, and ? national call censeter service support or whatever the dept is called -ignored ? efforts to resolve and clarify this over many months,---------------------------------------------- I am willing and happy ? to put an end to this assuming what they have promised in their email is true and they make good on their promises to meFor the most part I have always enjoyed the club and membership throughout the years and most of the hour fitness people I have met are very nice and good people ? and this seems out of the ordinary but it occurred many times on their part of this depty in national and in particular an individual there ---- and it is they that perpetuated this error.? The business contacted me by phone to explain that they are unilaterally increasing the fees because:the properties need significant improvements that they plan to do at some point in the future2.the contract provides them the right to do so.My response to them was:the fee I'm paying was agreed for recordkeeping purposes, not for property repairsI agree that they may have the right to increase but not by 400% from one year to the next? In sum, they are committing fraud per their own admitting that the charge is not for the purpose represented.? I'm sure they have recordings of the call and employees that will confirm the above conversation to show how much they disregard their customer's concerns.? They have since offering this package and feel it is too advantageous for disciplined people that go to the gym on a regular basis, so they want to kick us out of the system? I have been doing business with the business for years and changing the arrangement in this manner is not fair? I look forward to any help you can provide, as I'm sure I'm not the only one complaining about it (many posts in other websites have people raising the issue and feeling abused by a business that you feel deserves some undeserved rating!).?

I don't know if they have changed management in the corporate offices, because with so many changes being made, and not for the better, they are not the good establishment they once wereTo them, I am just one person in a massive podWhen companies start treating the customers in this way, it doesn't take long for other people in that pod to start and follow, before you know it, you go bankruptIn regards to all the voice mails left by hour staff, please check the number being called, because it wasn't my voice mail that these people supposedly drowned with messages
