The rental car company advised that the rental car was
not picked-up as booked on the scheduled pick-up date.  We are sorry to learn that you were unable to
use your reservation as booked and the [redacted] rental car was no longer available
for pick up when you arrived the day after your scheduled pick-up date.
 
When you missed your scheduled pick-up, the rental
company considered you a 'no-show' and released your car. This is standard
procedure. As stated on your  contract,
the type of reservation selected is restricted;  it is non-changeable, non-refundable, and
non-transferable even if  unused.
 
For your reference, a copy of the contract page has been
sent in a separate email. The contract page disclosed the terms and conditions
of your reservation.

option where the hotel's name is not revealed prior to purchase, we provide you
with the area map that break major cities into more manageable area. This map
will clearly outline the boundaries of the area in which the reservation will
be booked. Your confirmed hotel is guaranteed to be within the area boundaries
shown prior to purchase. Also, the map you review during the request process
will display that the area includes additional cities and/or states. Your hotel
can be located anywhere within the shaded area shown in the map during the
request process and once hotel rooms are purchased, they cannot be changed or
cancelled - by us or by the hotel that accepts your offer.
 
We have reviewed your reservation and verified that the

One error is that this was a debit card, and NOT a credit card.  My bank, [redacted], suggested I go to Priceline first, which I did. They did not EVER return my calls. Once the money is refunded to me and the transaction cancelled, I want that complaint to stand against Priceline. The only response I've received is the one through Revdex.com, which is why I contacted you.  I'd like the reservation (plane reservation, according the Priceline's response-I did not know what the criminal booked) to be cancelled.  I also want a record to show that Priceline consciously avoided dealing with this until Revdex.com became involved.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:My complaint stems from the lack of visibility to the rental agreement at the time I am required to make a non-refundable payment. The window for the third day was less than 3 hours. The time entered for the car return was 30 minutes prior to the departure of my return flight. Had I seen it clearly stated that I was being billed for three days, I would have done whatever was necessary to reduce the amount of time the rental agreement lasted. Further, the car rental agency presented me with a receipt that was for only two days at the time I received the car. I feel Priceline is manipulating the way the reservations are created so that they can profit from users' mistakes. The car rental agency did not bill Priceline for the 3rd day and Priceline should not reap 100% profit because of their obscure pricing displays. Sincerely,[redacted]

The insurance purchased protects you from being liable for damages if you are in an accident, or if your rental car is stolen or vandalized, and it protects against any weather issues.
