I am writing to let you know that we have received your
Revdex.com complaint in our Executive Offices. I...

understand your
request to cancel the reservation.
 
We work really hard to avoid any confusion when customers
use our website. In order to book a reservation, we require that you review
your reservation details, including the terms and conditions prior to entering
your billing information. Your reservation is prepaid and non-refundable as
stated during the booking process.
 
In addition, we stated prior to purchase that a
refundable security deposit will be required in order to pick up the vehicle.
The amount for the refundable security deposit required at the rental counter
depends upon the car type, rental period, and optional items.
 
Since you did not have the funds for the security
deposit, we have decided to make an exception to our cancellation policy and
cancelled your reservation with a full refund. This refund for $213.61 was
issued today, September 1, 2016. Your refund will be processed through our
system within one business day. If you need to check the status of your refund
after a few business days, please contact your bank directly to inquire about
their processing time.

I am rejecting this response because: i provided the PriceLine organization a screen print of where I was able to get a rate lower than the rate they quoted.  Now they say that need to see that screen again.  I can not provide again as 2 days before I check in the rates at the motel have increased.  I attempted to explain that information to the caller from Priceline. i can log into the motel website and book a reservation for 269.99 so from my view Princeline has not honored their guarantee of a lower price.  This issue is not resolved.

I am rejecting this response because: I never agreed nor initialed on the page indicating the price charged. I agreed only to the terms of $24.00 per day. I only submitted my credit card information and only initialed on the page stating the price details of $24.00 a day. Never did I initial, agree, or input my payment information on the page agreeing to $34.00 a day. I am rejecting this response because: YOUR COMPANY IS RIDICULOUS. Are you even reading these messages? You issued a refund to a PAYPAL account that does not exist anymore. YOU DIDN'T ISSUE THE REFUND TO A CREDIT CARD. The refund bounced back to your company, Priceline. I have called paypal multiple times in regards to this issue, and they have reiterated multiple times that they do not have the refund because there exists no account for you to refund it to. I even spoke with your (PRICELINE's) representative on the phone, and they told me they needed to forward the issue to accounting. Your company has a serious issue with communication - both with the customer and within your own departments. Furthermore, you consistently blame your in-competencies on 3rd parties... such as me or paypal. And for the tenth time, I used PAYPAL, not a credit card. Clearly this has caused a ton of confusion within your company. Jesus.

I am rejecting this response because:1. I selected Beachfront/Oceanfront Area but the hotel selected by Priceline.com is one mile away from the beach. 2. I did not see shaded area to the location as priceline mentioned during checkout process. Thank you again for your effort..

I am rejecting this response because:1) The booking was made without my consent. 2) Priceline and [redacted] were both made aware of he policy. Please review the case notes associated with this incident or the multiple recorded phone calls for corroboration. 3) Priceline and [redacted] refused to comply with the hotel even though they were informed on the same day of the booking that all that was required was a cancellation notice in writing.

I was looking on priceline.com and many other
websites to find a hotel deal. While looking, I received an email telling me
that I had made a reservation. So, I called priceline.com customer service
and they told me that it didn't matter that I didn't make the reservation and
that I could not get my money back. I was charged $521.72 on my bank card. I
would like that money back.

A refund should not take so long, but Priceline indicated it may take them 10 business days.  Since I only have 7 calendar days to respond to this complaint, I will respond that I accept the response with a contingency.  I am checking my account daily to see if the refund is processed.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me contingent upon my actual receipt of the refund.

refund of the upgrade fee that was charged to you at the counter. Your record and concerns were reviewed with Hertz's corporate office. It was found that a rental agreement was presented to [redacted]or review and to sign at the counter. There was no record of a problem stated at the time of pick-up and the rental agreement was duly signed with information of a vehicle upgrade fee posted on the agreement. Our apologies; however, we are unable to provide the refund you are requesting. We are sorry we did not provide you the answers you were looking for and we thank you for your time. I am rejecting this response because:I refuse to pay Priceline for a reservation that was never paid for by them. If Priceline indeed paid [redacted], I would like to see an invoice  of said payment before I will accept the contract and charges as valid. I am rejecting this response because:  Priceline.com's instructions on it's website did not follow the protocol listed on their website. I was not permitted to enter a bid on a hotel room on 11/2/15 as I had on 11/1/15. A contract should not have been automatically generated. If my bids on the day before were entered by myself and rejected by Priceline.com, I should have been permitted to enter a bid on 11/2/15. Their process is deceitful.
