I am rejecting this response because:I refuse to pay Priceline for a reservation that was never paid for by them. If Priceline indeed paid [redacted], I would like to see an invoice of said payment before I will accept the contract and charges as valid. This is my right as a consumer.Additionally, the website is misleading despite what the representative claims.
Sincerely,

We are writing to let you know that we received your Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices. We understand that you are requesting a compensation because you tried several times to book a rate with a 55% discount; however, it was not available when you click on it. Our...
apologies that you were unable to book the promo displayed on our website. Our booking system is linked to our travel partners booking system and there can be occasional time lags, which will affect the prices shown on our website. Our partner may not have refreshed their reservation system yet, and this may be the reason why our site is displaying a different rate. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee the rate until purchase is completed. We are sorry we did not provide you the answers you were looking for and we thank you for your time. Sincerely, [redacted]
I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion.
Prior to booking the reservation, we stated on the consumer’s contract page that the hotel may charge mandatory fees (e.g., resort fees) or optional (parking, phone calls or minibar charges), which are not included in your offer price. We are making an exception and offering to refund the resort fee because we value the consumer’s business, and have asked the consumer to send the hotel receipt listing the charges for the resort fee, charged and collected by the hotel upon check-out: 12/23/2015, to ###-###-####.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:The city we were in was [redacted] the city Priceline selected was [redacted] clearly not the same city we were in once the city was selected I immediately called Priceline to inform them that the wrong city was selected. Priceline didn't even try to correct the error of the wrong city. I am astonished at how Priceline is treating their customer considering the situation that was at hand. No empathy for the traveling parents with a sick baby. No empathy or apology for the wrong city selected. I want a full refund of the purchase. Priceline has an image and reputation and a part of that would be correcting this situation. I have the call logs to Priceline following immediately once the wrong city was selected. This needs to be made corrected and a refund needs to be issued when we clearly did not drive to [redacted] or check in at [redacted].
Sincerely,

Complaint: 1[redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: When I book Priceline, I am aware that my credit card will be charged the amount 127.40. I am aware that when I arrive at the hotel, I will present a credit card for incidentals. I have attached a screenshot of the credit card activity. There was one charge confirmed by Priceline and they had two pending charges in addition to the already confirmed purchase. Yes, the charges dropped a few days later but Priceline had no right to hold three times the room rate. Priceline needs to explain why there were the other two pending charges.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
My response to Priceline reservatio[redacted] was to accept the full refund that was offered. The Revdex.com later sent me a letter about a different complaint that was mailed to be in error. The complaint in that file was about a different hotel and belonged to some other person. Ms. [redacted] at Priceline has written that they will give my husband a full refund to settle the complaint against Priceline for the [redacted] reservation.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Our record indicates that on Jan 19, 2016 at 15:38:45 PM ET, a Priceline representative spoke with the consumer and advised him that a refund request in the amount of $272.00, which is 200% of the price difference between the amount he paid and the rate he previously found online was submitted. The consumer advised that he was satisfied with the resolution

I am in receipt of the complaint initiated by the
above-mentioned consumer and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
According to the consumer, Priceline did not notify...
her/him
via email or cell that her ticket request had not been accepted for purchase.
I am sorry that the consumer was unaware of the status of
her request. With Priceline, consumers are
instructed to check the status of each request by visiting the Check Your Request section of the Priceline
website or, contacting Priceline. Due to possible errors in email address' or
technical problems beyond our control that could delay email, at no time during
the request process do we commit to providing e-mail confirmation notice or
cell phone notice to consumers. It is the consumer’s responsibility to check
the status of each request submitted on our website.
Additionally, travel
rates fluctuate constantly due to changing availability, and we are unable to
guarantee confirmation for airline ticket requests. Priceline tells consumers
that rates are not guaranteed until purchased.
We are sorry that the reservation selected was not available,
and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

I am rejecting this response because:Date Sent: 6/16/2015 12:00:40 PM Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have attached the previous addition from your website containing what a "VALID PASSPORT" is and your recently updated version of what a "VALID PASSPORT" is, if you notice the time stamp at the bottom of the page on scan 10 was a month ago and it contained no information which could have helped prevent this issue however your recent update does contain pertinent information that would have prevented this. I find it interesting this sudden change to your website after I brought this issue to your attention. Coincidence? I think not, from my perspective it appears you recognized the error and then made the necessary changes to put your business in the right. Its a good thing I printed the previous version before you changed it isn't it? I also have included the [redacted] for you to take a look at so you can see what a proper warning should look like, maybe you could change your website AGAIN to look like that and that way you could avoid any confusion whatsoever. Important reminders at the bottom of the page give clear and necessary information to prevent the issue I experienced with you company which cost me 1,200 and then I had to repurchase new tickets at 1303 a piece. Ultimately your lack of important information cost me 3806.00 and a cousin of mine [redacted] had to pay an additional 1303 costing our trip a grand total of 5109.00 additional due to your error. I can promise you if this issue is not resolved here future requests will not include a request of 1,200. Sincerely, [redacted]
