Reservation is guaranteed for arrival on the confirmed
check-in date only. If you do not check-in on the
first day of your reservation and you do not alert the hotel in advance, the
remaining portion of your reservation will be canceled and you will not be
entitled to a refund.
If priceline accepts your price, priceline will book your
reservation in a property with an equal or higher star level than you
requested. Please note it is possible that the hotel you are booked in could
be a Resort, which will meet or exceed the minimum qualifications of the star
level you initially requested. The hotel that is selected may
or may not be one that you have seen during a hotel search on priceline. Any
sorting or filtering options previously used will not apply to this Name Your
Own Price request. Priceline will immediately charge your credit card the

matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable
conclusion. Unfortunately,
there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in our previous
correspondence. The consumer
agreed that the hotel reservation is non-changeable, non-cancelable and
non-refundable upon checkout. Priceline
committed payment to the travel supplier based on that agreement.
The
consumer’s credit card company withdrew the funds from priceline outside the
terms of this agreement and therefore priceline is seeking repayment for the
reservation purchased by the consumer. The non-cancelable nature of this
reservation was also conveyed to the consumer by the priceline representatives.

I am rejecting this response because:You changed the room type after I selected the room!!!! That like buying a box of crackers and when you open it dog food comes out! It's completely fraudulent!!! Don't advertise something and then change it over at checkout after I've chosen the room I want. Every room in that hotel has marble in it! That means nothing. You swapped our larger room with a view for a small little room that was cheaper at the hotel to begin with. Your company is committing fraud and false advertising!! The hotel itself confirmed it.

Priceline.com website states: Children All children are welcome. FREE!  Up to two children under 18 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.Up to two older children or adults are charged USD 6 per night when using existing beds. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  According to your own website 2 children can stay in the room using EXISTING BEDS!  There was only one bed per room.  Are 4 people supposed to fit on a full size bed?  Also you guarantee you have the lowest price.  I was (accidentally) charged by the hotel I stayed at and it was significantly lower than what I paid through priceline.com.  I am NOT happy, nor was I when I contacted customer service who did not help me either.

I was never shown a map at the time of purchase, and still haven't seen the map you are referring to. I never selected an area including [redacted] mall which is listed seperately on you website and if it was included on what I selected it was not clearly visible. Why would you include hotels in a different state with "downtown [redacted]" listings. Clearly deceptive marketing at the very least.

receipt of the complaint initiated by the above-mentioned consumer and
appreciate the opportunity to respond. According to the consumer, Priceline
confirmed the wrong dates. The consumer requests a full refund. Once the consumer provides all the details of
his/her trip on our web site, we summarize the consumer’s request, including
the dates selected, on the Contract Page. The consumer is then asked to review
the details/summary of the trip and initial the box at the end of the summary
to authorize the terms and conditions of the purchase, and confirm that the
travel details provided, including the selected travel dates, are accurate. If
the consumer’s offer summary shows a mistake, the consumer can go back and
change it before he/she clicks "Buy My Hotel Room Now." Attached hereto is a copy of the
consumer’s initialed contract page agreeing to the non-refundable and non-changeable
terms and conditions of the purchase as well as the following check-in/out
date.

We have received the
consumer’s additional comments. According to the consumer,
he logged onto his Priceline account during the booking process in order to receive
membership points; however, upon confirmation, he was logged out of his Priceline
account and he did not receive the membership points. The customer is
requesting that Priceline add points to his Priceline account or provide him
voucher for a free trip/airfare. We carefully reviewed
our records and verified that the consumer was not logged on to his Priceline
account when he submitted his requests. Additionally, we do not offer rewards
for signing on to a profile/account when purchasing a reservation.  As long as the consumer utilizes the credit card
for a qualified purchase, the points will automatically be rewarded to the
credit card. The consumer may contact the credit card company for any further
information.  Priceline is unable to add
points to the credit card account or provide a voucher for a free trip or
airfare.
We are sorry that we are unable to assist the consumer with a refund any further
in this situation.

understand your request to cancel the reservation because you did not receive your request for a room for one adult and two children. I understand the confusion; however, the selection for the number of adults and children only applies on the regular hotel booking service where you choose the specific hotel from the List View. This means that if you have made your selections but switch to the Express Deals section from the List View, the selections no longer apply and the room defaults for 2 people, as indicated on the contract page. When you submitted the request, it indicated to us that you agree to the room occupancy indicated on the contract page of 2 people. I have sent a separate email with a copy of your contract page for your review.
