I am rejecting this response because:They don't even know what bags were being carried by the 2 travelers (my parents). They are making their judgement without analyzing the situation. Also, they are not providing me a direct phone number to reach out to them. The call was disconnected while we were discussing and I was explaining my point. I tried to reach back to them and it is directed to their 1-800 number which will never allow you to speak to a representative handling the case. They are making the process complicated instead of refunding $200 which should not have been charged at the first place.The back pack they are mentioning is of the size of a small hand bag which fits inside the carry-on bag. [redacted] took advantage of my parents who could not speak in English and charged them for the carry-on bag the price of a check-in bag.I would request Revdex.com to escalate this issue to a senior authority with Priceline/[redacted] since this is not going anywhere.Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is almost satisfactory to me. I would prefer to get reimbursed after the return flight. Additionally, I am just writing to let you know that I did have to check a normal bag and a snowboard on the way to Switzerland and will be bringing both pieces of luggage back with me. Therefore, the reimbursement will be greater than the $27 (for the flight with [redacted], as well as for the flight going to [redacted]) that you have stated. Under a normal economy ticket, the snowboard would have been free to bring, but with the economy light ticket the snowboard does not get covered, so I had to pay for that as well. Where should I send the reimbursement details once I have gone through both flights?Best,

I have received the consumer’s additional comments.  As you
requested, we have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything
that might support a more favorable conclusion. The consumer purchased a Published
Price airline ticket with [redacted] is the merchant of record and
charged the consumer’s credit card accordingly.  On behalf of the
consumer, we contacted [redacted] to request an exception to their fare
rules/restrictions. However, the airline advised that the customers' itinerary
was not affected by terrorist attacks and they are unable to provide any
exceptions/refunds. The reservation remains non-refundable and non-changeable.  We are sorry that we are unable to assist the

I am rejecting this response because:First, I also have a screen shot of my search engine which clearly shows 7/22 – 7/26/15 as my travel dates I was searching for on June 22 and still shows the correct dates I entered on 6/22 and many other days prior since I have been looking for travel on these days for some time now.  Second, when I called about the incorrect dates, it was in no way indicated that I had 24 hours to cancel these flights due to the wrong dates.  I learned this after the fact from the airlines, at which time I called Priceline again to clear this up and wanted an explanation as to why my flights were not cancelled within the timeframe as I cannot use or want the flights they made.  I would of cancelled this flight instead of looking for a resolution to this issue had I known that option was available.  Trying to resolve this is costing me much more than if I would have cancelled my flights and gone somewhere else to make my reservations for the dates I actually needs to travel.  The only option I was given was to change my flights with the additional charges that I would incur.  I would of made reservations at those rates a long time prior, but I was still searching for better flight prices, which I thought I found with Priceline.Part of my complaint about this whole situation is the deceitful practices of Priceline.  I am not the fist consumer who has suffered from it and I am sure I won’t be the last.  It is time that someone put a stop to this practice.  A consumer enters the dates they needs as I did and Priceline makes this great offer that the consumer clicks to accept; however, Priceline now changes the dates once it moves to their system through the third party site.  As I indicated, I entered my dates for 7/22 – 7/26/15 and received a list of offers including an offer for $372 which I immediately clicked, but unfortunately the offer did not go thru their website as I requested.  With their deceitful, unethical, tricky, sneaky ways, they confirm me with dates I did not enter for the $372.  As I indicated I too have a printout of what my search engine showed and continues to show, which are the dates I selected of 7/22 – 7/26/15.  I have not made any other travel searches so my search engine continues to show the dates I entered.  My history on my computer also shows this fact.  If needed, I will check to see if there is a way to retrieve the history to prove this fact, wherein it would show that I have been looking for the exact same dates for many, many weeks (if not months).  The attached screen shot was the shot I took during my initial conversation with the Priceline representative.  Shown here with the address I was provided with when I was unable to speak to a supervisor (was told none was available), so I requested an address to send a written complaint.  I told the representative that my screen still showed the dates I entered and that I was looking at it.  I am not complaining about [redacted] as they continue to show the dates I entered and requested, but I am complaining about Priceline’s deceitful practices and the inappropriate activities and actions as they deceive consumers into travel and other items by offering a great price, but not the producing what the consumer is actually requesting.  This is not the first time they have done this.  I have learned of many similar cases after I started to search complaints from other consumers online.  This is one of their standard deceitful practices, and they continue to get away with these fraudulent practices at the expense of the consumer.  It is unfair that they can continue to be allowed to behave indecently and get away with it because they claim they have “proof” when their systems converts the information a consumer enters to what Priceline wants to offer rather than what the consumer has requested.At this point, I would still like to cancel everything and get a full refund as I should have received when I initially called

we have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might
support a more favorable conclusion. According to the consumer, priceline did
not disclose prior to purchase that the hotel would charge the credit card
directly for room and tax. Attached hereto is a copy of the consumer’s contract
page disclosing the following payment information:

reservation. The hotel will charge you directly for room and tax. No Deposit
Will Be Charged. The hotel
reserves the right to authorize your credit card prior to check-in.
Additionally, the consumer states that he/she expected to pay $117 for
the room however was charged $160 by the hotel. We have contacted the hotel and
were advised that there were more than 2 adults in the room, and therefore
charged accordingly for the extra guest(s). The contract page discloses that the hotel will determine the final total.
We are sorry that we are unable to assist the consumer any further in this
situation.

I have received the consumer’s additional

is requesting  compensation because the
hotel does not have a hot tub available to all guests. We reviewed this matter
and verified the reservation was used. The hotel advised the guests were
provided an accessible king suite with a sofa bed and an accessible tub. The
hotel does not offer a hot tub to all guests as it will depend upon the room
type reserved. The room reservation selected does not offer a hot tub as an
amenity. As a courtesy a refund  in the amount
of $79.04, which represents a 20% refund, was issued to the consumer. We are
unable to provide any further refunds.

I originally booked a vacation through priceline for travel in January of 2016, due to unfortunate circumstances I had to can I asked to receive a credit on the airline tickets for the additional passenger and myself. On 11/28/15 I spoke to a representative named Lee to discuss the airline credit,...

he advised I would receive the full credit and to re-book I would need to pay a $150 exchange fee if I was changing the name on the ticket, if the ticketholder was remaining the same there would be no charge except the $30 rebooking fee through priceline. He then advised I can book directly with the airline company myself using the original reservation number. Today 04/18/16 I contacted the airline who advised due to tickets being purchased through priceline they were unable to provide me with my airline credit. I then called priceline who advised I would need to pay the $30 rebooking fee and an additional $150 exchange fee, I explained that this is not what I was advised I was told it would only be $150 if the name on the ticket was changing which it is not. they told me that was policy and sorry I was misinformed. so now I have to pay $180 to be able to use a credit I already paid for last year. ( I cant believe they are charging me double for something I never even use)







Desired Resolution
I would like to be able to use my full credit and only pay the $30 rebooking fee through priceline like I was told by representative Lee on 11/28/15. And if this is not possible I would like the full credit of the airline tickets in a gift card or check. There should be no reason this large company...

needs to keep money I spent and have not been able to use.
