I am rejecting this response because:1. The Hotel was very nice and had no problem refund the money but told us it was the third party that had to refund the credit card. Jaylina, the girl at the desk told us that she would try to fight for us. 2. The supposed refund rules are vague in that it doesn't specifically state how unused nights would be handled. The policy can be taken several ways.

advising of all stops and stated that international travelers will almost
always need a passport, and that they also might need to show some other

Additionally, my new receipt specifically states 2 adult fares at $539.54 + taxes of $137.32.  Carrier Imposed fees states $0.00.  
This is false advertising as I was told I had to purchase new round trip tickets.  I was not told I was being charged a fee.

in our Executive Offices. We apologize for any
inconvenience you encountered with [redacted] Rent a Car. When your reserved car
class is not available, the rental car company is supposed to provide you with
the next highest available car class at no charge.
Since the rental car company was not able to accommodate
you, your rental car reservation was cancelled for a full refund of 87.63 USD.
As what you have been previously advised, we are unable to breakdown the
charges or provide an itemized receipt for each travel component of your package
reservation because we combine special prices together for each component that
you purchased into one discounted rate. This discounted rate would not be
available if you purchased the travel components separately. The total amount
of your package is presented to you prior to purchase on your contract page and
is visible on your confirmed itinerary.
I understand you rented another vehicle and had to pay
more for your new rental. I am more than happy to check if a reimbursement of
the difference between our rate and the rate the new rental car company charged
can be issued. In order to be eligible for the refund of the difference, your
new rental must be for the exact same car class as the original reservation and
for the same number of rental days. Please fax a copy of your rental receipt to

I am rejecting this response because you continue to ignore my original concerns, fail to provide proof or information showing that Priceline has made any changes, provide no reassurance that these same violations of customer privacy will not continue in the future, and fail to show that Priceline is in compliance with Revdex.com guidelines governing the use of customs' private information.  I am also rejecting this response because none of the three attachments that you mentioned were actually attached to the e-mail.In my previous e-mail I said:

I would like Priceline to change
its policy of using customers' e-mail addresses to send junk e-mails against
customers' will.

I would like Priceline not to
add customers' e-mail addresses to Priceline's e-mail list when a customer
explicitly opts out.
And you replied: "Unless
a Priceline customer tells us that he/she does not want to receive email
offers, Priceline will occasionally send promotion coupons, marketing material
or other special travel deals."Your response fails to address my clearly articulated original concern.  While purchasing my ticket online, I told Priceline that I did not want to receive email offers by unselecting the box next to "Yes! I would like to receive exclusive promotions, coupons, and discounts from priceline.com."  (See attached "Priceline Op-Out Button.")  And yet Priceline added me to their promotions e-mail list against my express wishes.  In addition, your response fails to address the fact that, in my previous e-mail, I attached a chat transcript with Bernice, a Priceline customer service agent, who explained: "When you make a reservation in our website the system
automatically sends you those promotional emails, even if you choose to
not receive them."  What Bernice says directly contradicts your claim that "Unless
a Priceline customer tells us that he/she does not want to receive email
offers, Priceline will occasionally send promotion coupons, marketing material
or other special travel deals."  Either Bernice is lying, or you are lying.  Because I deselected the "Yes! I would like to receive exclusive promotions" box when I purchased my ticket, all evidence points to your lying.In my previous e-mail I also say:·      
I would like all Priceline
e-mails to contain unsubscribe links. You also say in your reply: "Please
note that the unsubscribe link is located in every promotional email about
news/special offers/travel deals."  This, however, is untrue.  Please see the attached promotional e-mail ("Priceline Promotional Email with No Unsubscribe") sent to me by Priceline on April 18, 2016, which contains no unsubscribe link.  At the bottom, the e-mail says "This is a promotional email from Priceline.com," and there is no unsubscribe link.  Once again, your claim that "the unsubscribe link is located in every promotional email about
news/special offers/travel deals" is demonstrably a lie.You go on to repeat yet again: "In
accordance with Revdex.com guidelines, Priceline promotional emails (promotion
coupons, marketing material or other special travel deals), provide easily-accessible,
unsubscribe options from future emails to all customers."  And yet the attached April 18 promotional e-mail, without an unsubscribe link, demonstrates your claim to be false.And so my concerns remain unchanged:·      
I would like Priceline to change

I am rejecting this response because:The issue is that I did select the correct pick-up and drop-off locations of [redacted] to [redacted] airports...  The next page was the name your bid page...  there was no confirmation on this page as to what I was bidding for.  After the bid was accepted it said it was the same locations: [redacted] to [redacted].  Which is what they show AFTER the bid was selected.  That is the error.   I thought I was clear when I put in my complaint.  Should I submit another complaint or can we re-open this one?  Ideally I'd like to try again and hope they get it right, but am afraid to do so since they probably won't refund anything next time.  I've used Priceline a lot in the past but never attempted a car rental using different pickup and dropoff locations.   Maybe if they contacted me to work with me I can show them what happened.  Please let them know I'd like their assistance in this matter. Thanks again and I really appreciate your help.

I am rejecting this response because:The solution offered by Priceline is completely unacceptable for several reasons. First, it misstates the facts. Upon first arriving at the hotel, I informed the hotel staff that same night about my unhappiness with the condition of the room and hotel.  The hotel staff indicated that the hotel was fully booked and no accommodations could be provided.  As such, Priceline’s statement that I never raised any concerns is patently false. Next, this argument also misses the mark.  My complaint is not against the hotel but rather against Priceline.  It is Priceline that falsely advertised this hotel as a four stars and having certain amenities.  It is because of Priceline’s false and misleading advertisement that I booked my stay.  It is through Priceline that I prepaid for my stay, not the hotel.  As such, it is beside the point as to whether or not the hotel is providing any type of compensation.  My complaint is against Priceline and its unfair and misleading practice.  Had I known the state of the hotel and that this hotel was subpar, I would have never booked my stay there. Further, the amount offered is wholly insufficient to place rectify the situation.  We went to that hotel to celebrate my birthday.  Because of the state of the hotel, my husband and I were unable to enjoy out time there.  A mere $123 will not undo the wrong that we have endured.  As such, my demand remains a reasonable one: to render a complete refund given what took place. Finally, I am acutely aware that practices such as those committed by Priceline have significant legal consequences under [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] However, I am providing Priceline with the opportunity to remedy this situation informally, through this complaint. I look forward to hearing from you.

1. During the time of dispute, Priceline refunded what they termed a 'non-refundable' payment.
2. Priceline then cancelled the flight reservation that they termed  'non-cancellable'.
3. Priceline denied the dispute and re charged my card for the entire payment of $707.50
4.  Priceline made a contractual agreement with me.  When I refuted it with my [redacted] company, Priceline (not the bank) cancelled it, then recharged the entire amount and did not provide the service they were committed to providing.

I have received the consumer’s additional comments.
As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked
anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. After review of this concern we do show that on July 18, 2016 we
were contacted to advise that the hotel was offering the requested refund. We
verified with Scott at the hotel that they were willing to provide a full
refund and have process this in our system. A refund in the amount of $80.20 is
being processed back to the credit card used to make the request. I am sorry that we
are unable to assist the consumer any further in this situation. The consumer
may contact the property directly for any further assistance.
