I am rejecting this response because: I spoke...

to [redacted] and informed him of the following; When I spoke to [redacted] on 8/19 a representative of Priceline, I asked her to forward me a copy of this policy, which again it is not stated anywhere that I was not entitled to a full refund the day. Further, the hotel and Priceline were immediately contacted after I accidentally booked a hotel I didn't need. I sent Priceline a copy of their cancellation policy they forwarded to me, and my telephone records showing that I dialed [redacted], and Priceline. I tried to resolve the matter then and at a later timer via telephone, and then sent a letter thereafter. I do believe that because I called Priceline and [redacted], I shouldn't be charged a no-show fee, I can obviously prove this.  Most importantly, I asked Priceline to forward me their documents, which when I looked it over no where on there does it state NO refunds if a hotel is booked after 12pm local time. Additionally, if they have several different cancellation policies wouldn't that fall under some sort of false advertising? I have waste time and energy trying to resolve this matter, therefore at this point I will only accept a FULL refund. Please see below for an email they sent me:Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your reservationat the [redacted] for Trip Number [redacted]We are writing to let you know that we have received your BetterBusiness Bureau concern in our Executive Offices.We understand that you are requesting for a full refund of yourreservation. received the consumer’s additional comments. 
As you requested, we have again reviewed this matter to see if we
overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. Unfortunately,
there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in our previous
correspondence.
In accordance with our Best Price Guarantee policy, to qualify for a price
guarantee refund, the property must be the same hotel, check-in and check-out
dates, number of rooms, room type including bedding and view selection. With
the type of booking the consumer referenced on Hotwire, the property is not
disclosed prior to purchase and there is a possibility that the confirmed hotel
will be a different hotel. I
am sorry that the consumer is disappointed; however we are unable to assist any
further in this situation.

I am rejecting this response because:Can you help me understand why 3 of your agents told me Priceline would issue a refund as long as [redacted] agreed, and every time [redacted] said they would refund?  If this was the case why did Priceline continue to contact [redacted] and constantly come up with different reasons why they won't refund. Instead they keep blaming this on [redacted] saying they would not authorize. This is all very misleading and conflicting information, and it appears you are trying to make [redacted] the scapegoat. Even your agents I spoke to have indicated Priceline has issued refunds in the past if the other company agrees  This matter has consumed a lot of my time researching and contacting your company and [redacted] to get it resolved. The only consistency to the story is inconsistencies from Priceline  to avoid refunding my funds.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.However, if I understand the mission of the Revdex.com it is to be a check and balance on companies taking advantage of its customers, therefore I believe my comment should stand that Priceline does not treat its customers appropriately and while they rectified my situation, they wasyed hours upon hours of my time - that's not good business and other customers should know.

the $150.00 per room hotel credits that were not honored at the hotel.   As we have previously discussed, we are considering to reimburse your food and beverage purchase at the hotel for a total of up to $300.00. We have received and reviewed your receipts and determined that only $14.50 was charged for food and beverage. The remaining $176.88 is for resort fees. However, we are considering to reimburse the total hotel charges of $191.38 as goodwill gesture. According to the consumer, the property is not a 2.5 star quality property nor is it located in the area labeled [redacted], CO. We are sorry that the consumer is not satisfied with the 2.5 star quality or location of his/her accommodations. We have again reviewed this matter and confirmed that The [redacted] Resort by the [redacted] Group located at [redacted], is clearly located in the shaded area of the mapping guidelines for the area labeled [redacted], CO.   Additionally, all properties offered through priceline.com have been evaluated according to the specific star level standards that we have developed exclusively for our program and described on our web site. While the consumer may feel that this property should have a different star rating or is rated differently by other groups, we are confident that our evaluation of this property meets all standards listed under Priceline’s 2.5 star hotel guide. Our competitors rate this hotel as follows: Expedia.com =2.5 stars - Travelocity.com=2.5 stars - Hotels.com = 3 stars.
