Like what we have initially advised, there can be occasional time lags which affects prices showing on our website. However, when we reviewed our record, we found that you finally booked a reservation with [redacted] for Trip Number [redacted]. After careful consideration, we came to a decision to refund you the daily rate difference of what you initially wanted to book ($21 per day) and the daily rate you confirmed with [redacted], with an estimated daily rate of $33.18 per day.   For us to be able to process your refund, please send us a copy of your final receipt from the rental car partner once you completed your travel. Please fax to us directly a copy of your receipt or billing statement to: ###-###-####. driver will be required to present a valid credit or debit card in his/her
name for the refundable security deposit.

amount for the refundable security deposit required at the rental counter
depends upon the car type, rental period, and optional items. Pre-paid cards

a credit card for the security deposit, the security deposit will be released

debit card for the security deposit, proof of round trip airline travel may

I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. We understand that the consumer purchased a Published Price flight itinerary with [redacted] Airlines and the passengers were unaware of the [redacted] Airline flight schedule change. The consumer states that the email with the change notification was not viewed because he/she was not familiar with the [redacted] email address.
The consumer states:
“The email with change notifications that was auto generated was sent from [redacted].  This email was never opened because I did not know this email address nor did I know it was affiliated with priceline.com.  The first time I had open this email was when I was on the phone with representative from Priceline 2 hours before my original departure telling me to look for the date the email was sent.”
We are sorry that the consumer did not review the email that was sent advising of the schedule change, and the consumer’s voice mail box was full when we also attempted to contact the consumer via telephone. Please note that Priceline tells consumers that airlines change schedules from time to time and it is the responsibility of the passenger to contact the airline and confirm flight information prior to each departure.
The consumer’s confirm page discloses the following:

Dear Mr. **, We are contacting you today regarding your airline reservation for Trip Number [redacted]. We are writing to let you know that we received your Revdex.com concerns in our Executive Offices. We understand your concern about the schedule change. Airlines adjust their schedules for a number of reasons. When a schedule change occurs the airline will usually rebook you on an alternate flight closest to the original departure time. Once the airline notifies us, we make every attempt to notify you of the changes via email. Our records indicate that we attempted to contact you through the phone number that was used to purchase the reservation. However, the voicemail box was full. For this reason, an email was sent to notify you of the schedule change. In addition, we strongly suggest to our customers to contact the airlines at least 24-hours prior to each flight departure to confirm the reservation. We apologize but we are unable to process a refund of the fees charged by the airlines. We contacted [redacted] Airlines and they advised that they too are unable to provide compensation. Their records show that you requested to booked on a different flight on the original return date and agreed to pay the change fee of $250. [redacted] Airlines waived the fare difference as a courtesy. They suggest you call their Customer Care Department at ###-###-#### for further assistance. Like I previously stated that if you guys would have not made it seem like this hotel would have a casino then I would have never purchased this package. When I searched for a room with 2 beds and this express deal popped up I assumed it would include 2 beds because that is what I had searched for. I would not think that in a search for a room with 2 beds a deal for a room with one bed would show as one of the options.  This is very misleading and I am very upset!

For the matter of fact Priceline always display the RESORT FEES if there is any including the Express Deals, however you failed this time but refused to admit or resolve it: "In addition, you booked the reservation through our service that does not reveal the specific hotel until after purchase. Therefore, we are unable to display the specific amount of the resort fees during the booking process since the cost varies by hotel and we do not know which hotel would accept your request until after booking" What you wrote above is not TRUE nor factual in addition they charged me for two nights but your reimbursement was for one night.Sincerely,
