I am rejecting this response because:Priceline did nothing to resolve the situation. The airline itself had to take over the booking and make the necessary changes so that my family could fly. Priceline's customer service was nothing but aggravation and a waste of time. Priceline should learn a lesson from the airline which actually considered its customers' neeeds and the circumstances and responded appropriately. This will be my last Priceline booking until it learns to provide proper customer service to travelers.

In regards to the reply from Priceline , I had addressed these matters with the hotel owner upon check in and have also attached a copy of my bank statement clearly showing a charge of $11.90 for " [redacted]" which is for internet use at this motel. This again proves how Priceline does not whom they represent and does not care to find out as long as they are being paid a commission.  These issues were addressed to the owner on more than one occasion.  Further , I had also expressed my discontent of this motel when asked for a review which were PURPOSELY not published even though there was no foul or unprofessional language used.  This further supports my claim PRICELINES intent to deceive the travelling public on representing hotel / motels that no one would solicit  otherwise.   I will expect the refund  as requested or I will have no alternative to take this to a higher legal authority and also release to the media to which I have access to.  Please also note the many bad reviews of this motel that were not made available until after my initial stay. I will await a reply from Priceline.

competitive prices across a wide range of hotels.

Hi Revdex.com.  We called [redacted] and advised him that the exchange was unsuccessful and that he was notified via phone and email. We advised that prior to booking, it was stated that if the outbound portion of the flight is not used, the return part will be cancelled by the airline....

Lastly, we advised that we cannot refund the difference of the ticket cost, but we will request the amount of $50.00 as a goodwill compensation for his experience. The customer did not have any question about the refund, but he is unsatisfied.

I am rejecting this response because:I do not think it is fair to take money for a service that is not rendered!Mistakes are made and I called in good faith well ahead of time to take care of the mistake of the return flight date. I spoke to two of pricelines customer service reps. found them to be rude and not understanding of a situation that could have been fixed.Now I am being charged for tickets I cannot use,and had to reorder through priceline again.im going to my nephews wedding,now out several hundred dollars,which is leaving me in dyer straits,and cannot afford wedding gift let alone things needed during my stay.....I sincerely  hope we can come to a reasonable outcome to this situation and not waist anymore of either sides time.Mistakes are made weather by machine or human error...I dont feel it is right to penalize customers in such a fasion when it could have been taken care of with a few clicks of a computer!

I am rejecting this response because:Priceline took a "name your own price" bid and suggested to the bidder that the bid price had a extremely low chance of acceptance.  Furthermore, Priceline recommended  the user should increase their bid while having knowledge that the bid price was already exceeded the rack rate for a self proclaimed "4 star" hotel within Priceline's hotel affiliates.  Priceline has made no attempt to apologize for these unethical and fraudulent business practices and in fact considers it to be business as usual.  Priceline has one objective;  to make a profit by defrauding customers.  In this case Priceline was caught.Priceline was misled the customer with respect to Priceline and Hotel charges.  BOTH the Priceline charge and the hotel charges were incorrect.  The Priceline charge was to be 87.72 USD but it actuality was 91.15 USD.  The hotel charge was to be 31.00 USD but in reality was 34.43 USD.  Priceline acknowledges this and agrees to correct it.

I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. I understand that the consumer selected a discounted, specially priced vacation package, inclusive of an airline ticket, hotel and rental car, and requests an itemized breakdown for the exact airfares, hotel charges, and rental car for the selected vacation package purchase.We are unable to breakdown the charges or provide an itemized receipt for each travel component for package reservations because we combine special prices together for each component selected by the consumer into one discounted rate. This discounted rate would not be available if the consumer purchased the travel components separately. The total amount of the package was presented to the consumer prior to purchase on his/her contract page.Package providers, including Priceline, cannot break out components of a package because travel suppliers (hotels and airlines) only agree to provide discounted vacation package pricing if the components are bundled. This allows the suppliers to provide discounted pricing without undercutting their own retail rates. Since this is an industry standard, a reasonable customer would expect that a package price cannot be unbundled. When the customer selects the package, he is provided one bundled price and is informed that he is saving money by bundling the components together in a package as opposed to purchasing the components separately. As noted on the attached contract page, the package price, disclosed prior to purchase, clearly discloses that a total price, inclusive of all taxes and fees.The consumer initialed that he/she understood and accepted the terms of the contract, as well as the terms and conditions of the selected purchase, which also states that taxes and fees are not broken out. The consumer clearly chose to make the package purchase with the understanding that the total purchase price was inclusive of each travel component and taxes and fees.
