I am rejecting this response because:My flight was delayed for a day, and therefore I had a need the vehicle after all. I was told at the counter that I wouldn't be able to receive a refund for Friday (the day when my flight was delayed) because the reservation was made under Priceline. In addition, the receipt mentions Priceline as an account. However, I'm now seeing two charges on my credit card account, one for [redacted] and another for Priceline. I will proceed in disputing the Priceline charge as Priceline has been completely uncooperative thus far. (The CX from [redacted] has been pretty good, comparatively)However, what concerns me _far_ more than a $113 charge on a credit card (and the sole purpose of this Revdex.com complaint) is Priceline's unwillingness to admit misleading advertising of their insurance policy. It's clearly advertised as providing a '100% refund' in both the blurb at the top _and_ the 'initial here' section which the representative highlighted in response.If a company is unwilling or unable to change an advertisement that's demonstrably misleading, the conclusion I'd arrive at is that this company isn't playing by good-faith rules of exchange of goods and services, is not generally trustworthy, and in extreme cases might be relying on misleading advertising to encourage more purchases. Consumers have a right to know that such a company isn't being 100% honest with their customers. I believe the Revdex.com arbitration system is an appropriate way to communicate this to others, but there are other avenues as well. Based on my experiences with Priceline I do not think the A+ rating is warranted.

However, the cancellation fee offsets charges directly related to the cancellation of non-refundable reservations. The fee amount is consistent with the change penalties charged by the travel partners themselves. Since you used your reservation for the entire stay, we are not able to refund any difference in rates.

I am rejecting this response because: Your explanation is unacceptable. I actually don't care about the refund anymore, but I do care about other customers who have no doubt gone through something similar to what I went through. I ask that you be honest in the future. If you use a hotel as an example of a one star rated hotel, then you should honor your own examples. By claiming a hotel you have listed as a 1 star hotel may be a 2 star hotel in some circumstances is untrue. Either it is 1 star or 2 stars. It cannot be both. But if it is, as you say both 1 and 2 stars depending on arbitrary distinctions, then I ask you BE HONEST and list that brand in both the 1 and 2 star categories rather than backtracking and saying we have a disclaimer buried in our rules and regulations to this effect. From what I have seen online, I'm am not the only one who has felt duped by your website and has made this complaint. I imagine this is why you claim your hands are tied regarding a refund because I no doubt the floodgates would open were you to give me my money back. I know you have lost more than one customer by Priceline's misrepresentation of their listings. I only hope that others see my complaint and your sales are affected so that you will change how you do business.

varies, so please check with them if you do not see the refund in your account
within a few days.
 
In addition, a refund request for $600.00 was submitted
today, April 27, 2016. The request needs to go through a review process which
does take time to complete. Once processed, it will go back to the card that
was used to purchase the reservation.
