again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support
a more favorable conclusion. Our record confirms that the consumer contacted Priceline on May 17th
at 3:00
PM local hotel time,...

was unable to locate the guests’ reservation. Upon review of the inquiry, the
Priceline representative spoke directly with the [redacted] who
advised that they had the guests’ reservation; however, did not have
payment details. Therefore, Priceline again provided the [redacted] with the payment details, which had already been provided to the
property, and the guest was accommodated as booked. The documented
case history indicates that the call between the Priceline representative and
the [redacted] representative terminated 51 minutes later, at 3:51 PM local hotel time. We
apologize for any inconvenience experienced by the guest upon check-in at the
[redacted]. Our records clearly confirm that the guests’ reservation
was indeed received by the [redacted] Notwithstanding
the above, as a goodwill gesture and to emphasize our commitment to our customer,

With Priceline, you can choose from a number of options depending on your needs. You can select a specific hotel from a list of participating properties with our Published Price hotel option; or, if would rather save even more, you can choose a restricted reservation like the Express Deal. With Express Deals, you select the area and star level, but the hotel's name is not revealed until after the purchase. When you choose a restricted reservation, you agree to stay in any participating hotel that matches your requested star level and area selections.             We reviewed the location of your confirmed hotel. The hotel you received is in fact in the [redacted] Revere area of the map that you reviewed on our website. I am rejecting this response because: 1) priceline failed to show where in the rental contract I would be required to submit to a $2,500 hold on my credit card; 2) even if the contract did provide notice of the hold, such a detail should be prominently displayed rather than included in the fine print; 3) further, priceline fails to address the fact that I had to pay $27 per day for insurance. Such a charge, also should have been prominently discussed by priceline especially when the advertised daily rate was $5. If I'm being rented a car for $5 per day, it's absurd to leave the fact that you must pay an additional $27 per day in the fine print. But in fact, that figure wasn't mentioned at all. The only thing mentioned was that there may be additional charges. When I previously talked to customer care, they said that the onus was on ME to call the rental company directly. If that's the case, then I'm better off not using priceline.

I am rejecting this response because: The issue again was that the website made me click the box to expand my hotel search (I could not proceed without checking this box) website glitch perhaps?? In doing so the guaranteed amenities changed without my knowledge. It should be made very clear and open about the changes Priceline made after expanding the hotel search. Again I'm extremely displeased with the Priceline customer service and deceiving tactics that were used.

I am rejecting this response because: Priceline did not call me at all as stated in his reply that they contact me. I contacted them first and notified them of the problem. My only options were to leave with a refund which was not an option because where were we to go with no home to go back to that night? We have no more funds and used hotels the nights previously and this was the last of our money. I used Priceline the night before with no problems with a different hotel. We shouldn't drive all the way there, have the last of our funds taken and told we need to wait up to 10 days for a refund, or only get 20% back. Plus, they have knowledge of the problem for OVER a month. They refuse to fix their site! Both the front desk and the breakfast staff noted NUMEROUS complaints from people so they knowingly list it on their site (and still have that hotel listed with a pool, even though it's not expected to be fixed until June 2016, on their site) then they stick people in between a rock and hard place between choosing to leave and try to find somewhere else or take a 20% refund which is only $14. They don't care about robbing other people clearly because it is still on their site even with all these complaints and this one.

However, we were routed to your voicemail. We were unable to leave you a message since we were prompted that your voicemail was full. I also sent an escalation to the appropriate team to review why you did not receive the email we sent you about the flight cancellation. The concerned team responded to us and based on the system logs for those emails, it shows that emails were successfully sent. Since you are using a GMAIL account, these emails may be in your Spam or Junk folder. If it isn't there, we suggest that you contact your email provider to verify your email phishing setting as it should allow system generated email to be received.   In line with your request for a refund with [redacted] portion of the flights, we reached out to our partner airlines, and [redacted] provided us with an authorization to process the refund. I have processed the refund today for the amount of 407.80 USD. Refund process will be completed in few days. Also, bank processing time varies and may take additional days before they put the money back to your account. I am rejecting this response because:I was out of town undergoing a very painful diagnostic procedure at the time this message came through an am just reading it this morning. I request that the case be re-opened. Should the Revdex.com need documentation that I was in fact out of town and under the care of a orthopedic spinal surgeon, let me know and I will provide documentation. The explanation by Priceline is correct but leaves out the fact that the customer can select zones on a map that become highlighted and automatically check a box in the corresponding list to the left. I was clicking on the map, not the list. The Priceline representative I last spoke with ADMITTED TO ME ON THE PHONE THAT I  HAD CLICKED ONLY ON “[redacted]” AND NOTHING ELSE. They admitted they were in the wrong and still seem to think that I am somehow responsible for their computer systems booking error. My family just emerged from both a foreclosure and chapter 7 and cannot afford to pay for the mistake of a giant corporate entity like Priceline. I am in the process of setting up a video shot that will show me going through the exact same steps I made when attempted to book in the [redacted] area. Just short of placing the bid of course. Thank you.
