It sounds like Staples is refusing to honor the advertised price. Since Staples does not show a limited amount in its advertising and shows a beginning and ending date for the sale they should be bound to honor the advertised price during this sale. Furthermore, the day after the sale the item showed up on their website at full price. This is clearly bait & switch advertising.

I acknowledge that I did not purchase insurance. I was not offered it in the store. While I appreciate that I cannot prove that I was not offered insurance by their staff, this is because it is impossible to prove a negative. They should realize that this is a subpar level of service, and the onus is on them and their staff. Moreover, my complaint is not simply that I was not offered insurance. I was also deeply disappointed by the complete lack of effort made by Staples to recover my lost/stolen items. They simply passed the buck off to [redacted], and in no way made an effort to recover the goods or update me on the status of my inquiry. One expects much more of a SHIPPING company. This is a completely disappointing experience, and a failure to perform the service for which I paid.

returned to the store the following the day, our tech was completing required Window's updates. We were advised by the store that the customer did not allow the tech to complete the updates and retrieved his computer on his own accord and left the store. In regards to his request for a refund, since the work was not allowed to be completed in the time frame allowed for our next day service guarantee (5pm the following day), we are unable to grant his request to receive a refund.

I am OK with placing a new order. But staples must provide the same discount as my previous order for the new order.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Staples, among other retailers, are allowed to sell gift cards in multiple transactions, as long as the total purchase does not exceed $2000.00 per person, per day. This is in accordance with federal guidelines.

Staples position has not changed on this matter. The customer is welcome to contact the store to make arrangements to bring in his computer for further service with this matter.

I don't accept their response and lack of accountability for their mistake. To make it clear, if this happened in a store I would have went to the register with my [redacted], paid for it and as I was leaving a salesperson came out and grabbed it out of my hand. Because they made too many available at the sale price is not my fault and they need to take responsibility for their actions. I would be happy to accept store credit or a discount for a future purchase.
